My move with Johnson Storage & Moving went extremely well! The price and the service were great.My estimator, Mark, did a thorough survey of the items to be moved, promptly provided an estimate, and answered all of my questions. He even offered to bring me some mirror cartons (an estimator from another company suggested I could buy them at Home Depot). He left me with a folder containing lots of very helpful information and advice on moving. Mark later stopped by with the mirror cartons as well as paper and a number of boxes of various sizes, all of which were very helpful.My driver, Jeremy, was great! He is smart, energetic, and has a wide array of knowledge. He expertly reassembled furniture and proactively volunteered to try different furniture and rug arrangements when I was uncertain, and he made great suggestions! He clearly has high standards for himself, a great employee.

They showed up on time. The movers, Donnie, and Jerome were positive, supportive and professional. Johnson was recommended to me by a friend and I will recommend Johnson Storage & Moving to anyone. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is one of the guys didnt show up.

The team did a great job moving our home. Based on where we moving to, I would’ve liked to have 4 people moving our home. This would have prevented finishing in the dark and working against the elements. Team was super friendly and hard working. Good people!

This place is small and you cannot overnight in the area due that there are signs on the streets mandating only a short amount of time. There are 2 entrances 1 from a busy US highway and the other one on a residential area, you enter from the busy US Highway and check in, next you have to come out and park on the residential area to wait 4 your turn, wear a mask b4 entering into their building 2 check in. This place is small so you cannot overnight around the place, there are also signs limiting your parking time on the streets so plan accordingly so you dont waste your precious elog hours or get a ticket, the place is tight and you must park @ their dock perfectly centered or they will tell you to reposition your trailer better so they can unload you, if U back in wrong and they tell you to move get out of your truck/walk in to their building and look from inside how much you have to adjust your trailer in to their dock, sounds absurd that a few inches prevents them from unloading you but their doors are narrow and your load is very wide so it has 2b perfectly positioned, by walking in and taking a look from the inside you can get the big picture on your head about where you have to adjust so it is easier 4 U & them, cheers!

Johnson Storage and Moving Co come highly recommended. I own a large Real Estate company and I know most of the moving companies in town. Johnson S&M has helped MANY of my agents, their clients, my clients and now they helped me personally. The communication and services from Jake and Emma along with the movers sets the example for the entire moving industry.

We used Johnson Storage & Moving for an out-of-state move from Longmont, CO to Chattanooga, TN. The only reason why Im not giving the full 5 stars is because our move was 12 days late and we couldnt get a firm estimate until day 7 of when it would arrive. And note, we know there is a massive driver shortage in the US, so we do not fault Johnson Storage & Moving for this, but rather United Van Lines for not providing them and us with adequate resources to get the job done on time.Our move coordinator, Ryan, was communicative the entire time and assured us that our belongings were safe and that they were doing everything they could to get us our stuff as quickly as possible. The crew that packed our items did so quickly, but with care -- all of our items that were packed were in tact! We were missing one item and the driver actually found it in his truck and shipped it to us. And the crew that loaded & unloaded our belongings were so friendly and worked hard to get our stuff out of our house in Longmont and into our new home in Chattanooga. Moving across the country is never easy and it seems things always go wrong, but all-in-all the fact that Ryan was never hesitant to be honest with me and was very responsive to our emails & phone calls is the only reason we didnt completely melt down when our items were late.

They were on time and very experienced. Edgar the driver and head mover, contacted us days before to let us know when he would arrive with our things. We have had to use many different moving companies and by far this one is right up at the top! From the surveyor, to the actual driver and loaders we had a very positive experience! Gilbert and his two associates were fantastic! Very kind, friendly, responsible, and showed great respect for our things as well as our time and situations... Michael was also the best at keeping everything light-hearted and everyone smiling! I would recommend this moving team again, and definitely would use them again! Thumbs up all the way!

Had a horrible experience with this moving company. They were hired to move us, but we had a change of destination on the date of move, instead of taking it to their storage facility (the distance was approximately the same). The movers said they could not get a hold of their supervisors because it was a Saturday. I called the corporate line and they tried to get a hold of the supervisors and could not; although they got a hold of two other people in the company at different locations who offered to help. I said as long as it was delivered Tuesday I was good, and the movers were asked to hold the truck and not unload it. Messages were left; corporate was contacted; I thought everything was good. Tuesday morning they did not return my calls (this location), and we had to head over to the office. The truck was already unloaded!! Nice way to make some extra bucks!! The manager, David, was rude and extremely unfriendly to me and just stated they were not open on weekends and gave no further comment. If they arent open on weekends, why do they have workers out? What would happen if a worker got injured; how would they get in touch with a supervisor? This made no sense to corporate or anyone else.I did find the manager of the Denver location to be quite the opposite -- friendly and good customer service skills -- he called me back on Saturday and profusely apologized, so it does not seem to be a company-wide issue, but just this location. Now Im getting a 1740 bill on top of an already very high bill from this company. Not happy.

Our family has moved several times over the years and had experience with many moving companies and their services. The Johnson Storage crew that uncrated our belongings were the best we’ve seen. They were professional, friendly, and pleasant to be around. Would definitely consider them for future moves!

We recently used Johnson Storage & Moving when we relocated from a large house and shop to a large house - it took 3 truckloads and the better part of a week. We were pleased with Emma, Kirk, and Isaiah - they were personable, efficient, and flexible. They were gracious when we needed to make some changes to the things that needed to be moved around in their storage area. We definitely recommend this business.

The team did an excellent job moving my property into my new home. It was cold, icy and snowy. The team talked through the safety aspects of the job. As a result, no one fell and no furniture was dropped. There were some tight fits that needed negotiation. Again, the team talked it through and made the furniture fit through the openings. The team was polite, careful and fun to get to know. I highly recommend this group and I know Ill be calling Johnson Storage And Moving for my next move!

Darien and his crew were amazing! They arrived early and for a crew that was supposed to consist of 5 guys (but was only 3), were done in about 8 hours. We have a LOT of stuff and they worked their butts off. We moved from a 3 bdrm 2nd floor apartment so they had to take everything down stairs. They were all very courteous and helpful. I would recommend this crew and Johnson moving to anyone looking for a reliable, professional moving company.

I have been working with this company in the Colorado market for nearly 15 years (specifically their Longmont location). As a 3PL company, my clients demand timely and accurate paperwork, deliveries and invoicing. Johnson delivers! If I have any questions or concerns, I just call David or one of his team members and it is addressed immediately. I arrived in CO after a week-long drive across country, only to find that the closing on my new home would be delayed a day. We had scheduled delivery of my household goods for Thursday, but I could not receive them until after closing on Friday. The driver, Richie, kept in touch with me by text and made sure he was there at the first possible moment we could schedule. From the driver to the unpacking crew, all were professional, polite, and on time. The unpack was accomplished in record time with minor bumps and scrapes only. My treasured family furniture made by my father all came through the move without a scratch! I especially appreciated that the unloading crew helped me check off my items by calling out the numbers for me, and they were very careful to put things where I asked them to go. I am extremely satisfied with my move across country with United Van Lines & especially Johnson Moving and storage in Colorado! I highly recommend them!

This is a two Star review because of my frustrating experience with the office staff. This company seems very disorganized, from answering the phone and returning phone calls to their accounting practices. My household items were in storage for three months when I requested delivery. They seemed to be confused about where my items were, which of course caused a lot of stress on my part. When my items were delivered, I gave my credit card number to the driver. Four months later I received an email asking for payment of the delivery! I called immediately and talked to accounts receivable department and told them I had given my card number the day of delivery since paying up front was their policy. I was told that they had not received payment. I said that I would check my card statements. I then got another email threatening to send this to a collection agency. Really?!! This was their mistake, after all, not mine. I have already voiced a complaint with the Mayflower relocation agent who recommended Johnson Storage. After all of this, I must say, though, that the staff who delivered our items were very professional and nice. They did a great job. Its unfortunate that the office staff is not as competent.

Just beginning the moving process, went by to buy wardrobe boxes. Actually this was my third stop, and the prior moving company had kept me standing waiting for help for at least 10 minutes, then paged someone, but they never showed up. They did sell boxes retail, supposedly.Contrary to that, Johnson has a office populated by people who work, and dont drag their feet. Not only that, they are helpful, and thoughtful.Difference was like night and day. Ill go back to Johnson.

Our move required two parts over several months, which Johnson Storage & Moving was very flexible. All of the loaders and truck drivers were thoughtful and respectful, and the unloaders from a different state seemed to be very much on the same team.

[Timing consuming and dishonest]When I called to get a quote over the phone, the customer service rep would not tell me the hourly rate. He insisted that we have someone come out to do an in home estimate. When I expressed that I didn’t want to spend the time doing an in home estimate, he reassured me that the estimate was binding and the move would not exceed the binding estimate once I signed it. Upon that information I scheduled an in home estimate.The man that did the estimate was in our house for over an hour (we had a small, two bedroom home). It took him three days to get back to us with a final price. He said in person that the hourly rate was $100 per hour, however the estimate listed a cost of $173 per hour.After communicating with him that we had lower estimates, he agreed to match our lowest estimate from another company. We had this exchange via email where he agreed to match the other company and make it a binding estimate.Upon being connected with the move coordinator I was asked to verify that I agree to the estimate twice. The second time the estimate had been changed from 3 people to 2 people but kept the same hourly rate. When I communicated with her about the binding estimate I was promised, she said that could no longer be honored.All in all the experience was very time consuming and the company was very dishonest.

We used Johnson Storage & Moving for a local move here in Boulder County last month. I had never paid movers before, as I am pretty frugal, but the price was right and I am so happy I had them move us! The estimate was right on target. The guys were careful, friendly and professional. I have already recommended Johnson to 2 friends moving later this summer. Wish I could write more but I have boxes to unpack.... :)

Our move involved two families into one house in one day and everything went great. Our salesperson visited both locations and was very professional and answered our questions. Our move coordinator was also very helpful and kept us informed of the arrival time of the moving crew, plus received calls from the salesperson and lead move supervisor the night before the move. The moving crew was very professional in moving our goods and taking care not to damage anything.

This was a pain-free, professional experience despite moving cross- country on short notice. Very capable personnel in the back office as well as the moving van.

We moved cross country with United movers and Johnson movers from Longmont were used on the Fort Collins side to unload our things. We had a two man crew. One of the guys was a REALLY hard worker. I could hardly believe how quick he was and had great attention to detail. The second guy I was not as impressed with (didnt move quickly and did not put the boxes in the requested rooms). But over all they didnt break anything, they were sweet to my children and they worked hard.

Bad experience. After they picked up my boxes, communication was very slow and it usually took several emails or phone calls to get updates on my shipping. They told me that they wouldnt ship my goods before they hadnt received the full payment (which is ok and understandable!). However, suddenly they asked for an additional payment of 50% (!) of the total amount because the volume of the shipping had doubled. - No further explanation... As they had stored my boxes already, it was too late to pull out of the deal.Finally, when my boxes arrived at the port overseas, they only contacted the shipment company there to clarify some issues after I had called and emailed (again). In total, it took them three months to ship my boxes from Colorado to France! In summary, if you look for a smooth and easy move, dont choose this company.

Moving to Florida! We joked we would use Johnson due to the family name and the fact that we had driven by them for years. They came to our house for the quote on Friday the 4th, as the man was leaving he said he would have it to me by the following day. He was nice, professional and easy going. The process went smoothly.Alas, we had two quotes the day before and earlier that morning. Both got us quotes within 12 hours. Wednesday the 9th rolled around and we had to pass on them for one of the other two companies. We had even called the card that was left with us to see if he had taken down the e-mail wrong but I was never called back.The rating would probably be accurate with 1.5 stars because they were nice and professional while at our house.
