B&L installed $12,000 worth of cabnits in my home today and I couldn’t be more pleased. I made about 3 revisions to the original idea I started with and they were super easy to work with the whole time. They came and installed today and I couldn’t brag more about the 3 men who came. I showed up with a 1 and 3 year old and these men were so kind and would stop what they were doing to answer my kids questions or even help me wrangle them up. I will try and post pics once the house is finished. Very impressed. This is my second home to build and we used a different cabinet maker the first time and I swore I would find a better one this time and I did. Thank you for your patience with all of my changes and my kids
I called for an estimate of a entire house of cabinets. 22k dollars worth actually...they sent out Joey to draw it all up so we can get a bid. Well those drawings were wrong so he made a second trip out. Those drawings ending up being wrong as well. That was over a month or so period..then I get one of the owners named Larry. He drew it up and was wrong also. Just to clarify if you don’t know, the homeowner has to sign off on the drawings they provide before they start so if they make any mistakes on measurements it’s actualy the homeowners/ gc fault. So you have to check their work! So me and Larry go back and forth he came out a total of 3 times (drawings still were wrong)......I had to do all the leg work on measuring and figuring my upstairs cabinets for this company, I made multiple trips to their office because I’m trying to speed the process up...and explain to them that the drawings are still wrong. Once we finally got an approved set of drawings the cabinets were ordered and delivered. 15 pieces turned out to be wrong. It took them 3 delivery Trips to get me the correct size cabinets. Then I discovered some drawers had slow closers and some didn’t. So I made a trip over..exchanging hardware etc. just because it would of taken forever. This entire story is over a 7-8 month process. They never once offered a discount. They did make me an extra face frame and door for no extra (95$) charge since the project didn’t go well....def not a good experience for me. And this all happened 6 months ago..I’ve had time to cool off since then. Or this wouldnt of been written like this. lol it’s over and done with. Workmanship is decent/good. Nothing that blew my mind, they need someone overlooking their quality dept. the people in the establishment are family and mean well..just not a pleasant experience for my build.
Good craftsmanship. I work here.
