I was fishing a tournament and the trolling motor remote went kaput. This remote is usually found online but not easily found in local stores. I called East Texas Sonar and they had it; put it aside for me, which I picked up in an hour or so. I had never been in this local fishing and tackle shop. I was impressed with the variety and volume of fishing gear. John was particularly helpful.

Lake Palestine did my trolling motor in, snapped the shaft clean. Had many people recommend this place, so I took my motor there. Between ordering parts and fixing the actual motor it took a week and half. Top notch work, they even repainted my riptide! 10/10 will come back if I need work done.

I gave a 1 because there isnt a zero. We went yesterday and it was our first time, and we were made feel uncomfortable from the minute we walked in. The guy mumbled hello, and then when we ask a question he made us feel like we were totally dumb. We wont be back

They always have what you need to catch big fish

Never dealt with a business as incompetent, un professional and rude as these folks. Ive had my Ulterra in there 6 different times over the past 22 mos and not one time has it functioned properly after picking it up. They have a diff story / excuse every single time not to mention being the most unfriendly, rude business I have ever dealt with. Thankfully I found another Minn Kota Certified repair center near Lake Fork and will gladly drive the distance to avoid ET Sonar. Id highly recommend making the drive to Yantis and seeing Brian at Sartin Marine.

They had my trolling motor for over 2 weeks. Called to get an update and the young kid told me part came in and would take 5 mins to put in. Went down to pickup next day and was told he put my part in someone elses motor and now the part is obsolete! I turned to confront him and he went in the back room and made daddy come save his ass! Horrible customer service and closed on Monday?? I can and will buy sandtone lures elsewhere and never shop or promote this business in any way! unless you are a friend or family you will be put on the backburner and lied to about work being done. They even fried my power steering fuses about 8 months ago doing petty work on my boat!
