My family and I are long time customers of this establishment. We have been using this location since its originally opened. My recent experience its a.s very disappointing. On Tuesday evening I arrived around 7:00 p.m. along with my friend and we placed an order in the photo department. We were informed that our orders would be ready at 8:01 p.m. so we decided to so go grab some food before returning to collect our orders. Upon arriving back at the store around 9:30 p.m. we were informed by a female employee that our orders were not yet ready and that we needed to wait. We decided to window shop around the store while we were waiting for our order to be ready waiting for our order to be ready. While waiting we ran into and another customer and engaged in friendly conversation about their selection of wine. We helped her select some wine and that she chose to purchase and then proceeded to the collect our order and checkout in the photo department. The cashier dark black hair was very rude. While walking towards the exit she insisted that step aside and wait. When I asked why she rudely said just wait here. She then called the manager requested his assistance. The manager we were told was unavailable but our behavior was unacceptable and that she saw us open multiple bottles of wine on the camera and if we wanted to return to the store to not let that happen again. If this wasnt bad enough when we were in the parking lot talking about the terrible incident 2 other customers who were in the checkout line while we were leaving came out and told us that the cashier continued to talkkabout our inappropriate behavior and what how frustrating people like us are... this is so unprofessional and as a result I will never return to this location. The following day I returned to the store and spoke with a manager about the situation and he seemed to brush off the incident and say he would speak with his team. Not one time did this manager apologize for the terrible experience or offer any kind of resolution. This is the worst example of customer service Ive experienced in the last several years. I have been a member of the Longwood community for my entire life and no one deserves to be treated like this..

The staff is friendly, but they consistently fail to have enough of my VERY COMMON prescription to fill it, which means I have to call my doctor to send it to another pharmacy farther away.

The pharmacy tech Micheal was incredibly polite and knew his job well. Also, every time Ive checked out the staff was always friendly. And I appreciate that a lot. Thank you.

Why did the pharmacist at this Walgreens try and charge me for the covid vaccine? I thought it was free to all Americans.. Is it not?

As I am writing inside the Longwood store, I arrived here around 1:03pm for a flu shot by their pharmacy, waiting in line - answering all their questions and still fill out paperwork for 30 minutes, and I was told that pharmacist whos name is Ryan (sorry I got first name) is going on lunch now. I wouldnt have come here if I had known the wait was very long and was told to basically go away. Its 1:37pm now. I am heading to work without time to eat my own lunch. I hope my experience will give you all an idea of what you will be dealing with. Good luck, everyone.

I think everyone here is very kind and helpful. The staff when you first walk in is very welcoming and everyone Is so nice. Pharmacy always is informative. This place is great

This is a very busy location, but it never feels crowded. The pharmacy staff is excellent, and the store is neat and clean. They are always willing to work with me.

I was there about 30 minutes and the entire time the manager wasnt wearing a mask, and interacting with numerous customers. I mentioned that she wasnt behind the cashier protection glass and she laughed. Also she had a very obvious and loud argument with another co-worker when they asked for a break. Very unprofessional and distasteful management.

The pharmacy staff here are absolutely awful. They are the rudest I have ever encountered. I can count on one hand, and its not even the whole hand, how many positive interactions I have had there. Today is the last day Im using the pharmacy here.

Im giving 2 stars for the store staff. Because they rock!! The pharmacy is the worst ever. Tried to kill me giving me the wrong RXs. Tried to charge me $300 for a needed inhaler that is covered 100% by my insurance. Please if you need prescriptions filled in the area go to Medicure pharmacy down the street. Support private local businesses & be treated as a valued human being.

Love this place! I walk here with my brothers about 3-4 times a week. We have become quite acquainted with the staff here! The staff are very kind and helpful. Marueen is amazing! My brothers and I absolutely love her! She is always very kind, helpful, and we love talking to her! Shes a very good friend of ours now! I also really like the pharmacist with the long red hair, whos name Ive forgotten because I am terrible with names... (Sorry!!!) I absolutely love her! She is always very kind and helpful as well! Shes amazing! I love how when I go here, I dont just feel like Im going into any store. I feel like Im visiting good friends. They also always have what we need. Coffee, Creamer, Chips, Candies, etc. This will always be my favorite Walgreens!!

Every single time I call in for a prescription I get put in a que for 30 minutes, then when it’s finally my turn they ask me to hold, then when the call starts to ring again they hang up.. they do this every time, every 3 months that I get a renew on a script. These people may do well on pharmacy because we are at the mercy of them but it will decide my decisions on things I could go to cvs for.

It’s always a delight coming to this walgreens. I love the pharmacy staff. I’ve come here twice with new prescriptions and the pharmacist, Sarah, was so helpful. The first time it was after a work related incident. I was worried but she calmed my fears and explained everything about the medication. She’s always so professional, friendly and nicely dressed. All of the employees are great! I’ve had great encounters and wonderful service from Chanell, Jessica, and Allison. I noticed they hired a lady store manager which makes me happy. She’s so friendly and you know what they say, girls run the world.

Decent staff try to be helpful as possible, sometimes it takes a minute or two to get service. Seems like they are understaffed. The way many customers treat the employees is terrible.

Of all Walgreens I have visited here you could find most of prescription with out a problem! But there is some on on their pharmacy I think is like a supervisor that he’s service lack a lot!! it wasn’t for him this local is easily a 5 Star!

The pharmacists at this store are top notch. They are helpful, kind, and patient. This is the only pharmacy I will go to.

Horrible customer service. They tell you one thing one day and something different the next. The red head lady that I guess must be management (because she wears her Walmart clothing to work)is very rude to the point of cutting you off when trying to speak. I will not be going back. CVS across the street just earned a new customer.

If my insurance didn’t require me to this pharmacy come here I wouldn’t. Five people working and one customer in line ahead of me and a 15 minute wait just to pick up an Rx. Not to mention they got my insurance wrong and tried to charge me 30 times the price for my Rx.

If your balls are dry come here....because this place sucks! Luckily I dont require their services, I go there for grandma. In nearly every instance the drop off and/or the pick up is screwed up. I just went today after a ready notification only to find out only part of it was ready. I know...were just a number. Got it!

I would never, ever recommend this pharmacy. Go anywhere but here. They overcharge you on prescriptions. I have to file a claim with my insurance company to get my money back. My insurance company said Walgreens does this frequently and is in the wrong, but they said they would never admit it.

I have been going to this Walgreens for some time as it is closest to my home however I will no longer. After numerous problems getting them filled at times taking a week to get the script filled after sent over from the doctor. My doctors office placed a request to fill a new perscription for me. I went to the pharmacy and was told that they did not have the drug and would have to order it. They then ask if I wanted the other perscription there. I was not expecting a perscription so I ask what it was. I was told it is for Fibromyalgia by the Pharmacist. I ask to write the drug name down and the number of the drug so I can ask my doctor what in the world this is for. After leaving there I went and did research and found that the drug they filled was a generic for the drug they were out of. I of course went back and got the generic drug. A week later I was picking up medicine for my mom. The dollar amount was for more money than it typically is. They said her Synroid was not due to be filled for 3 months so the insurance would not pay for it so it was full price. I told them to hold the drug and picked up the other and took to my mother. They had filled a 90 day supply for the generic Synroid this is the reason she was not able to get the Synroid with her insurance. Later I received a text to come pick up one of her perscriptions, it was the Synroid. I told them it was not needed as the perscription had been filled with the generic. This is very concerning.

Their pharmacy had a rare medication in stock and they filled it fast..well hell anything is better than the cvs across the street..do not go to the cvs

Omggggg so frustrating! You can spend an entire day in the drive thru. Even if you are the ONLY car in line! They always claim to be so busy .. clearly! HIRE MORE PEOPLE! There should always be ATLEAST one person at all times working the drive thru.. instead the poor people who work inside are constantly running around inside like crazy people. Its been YEARS that its been like this!

Huge line at pharmacy. 2 people working at counter. One of them at drive through teller on phone on a personal call and didnt even bother serving anyone.

Horrid Walgreens... Just moved here and this unfortunately is our closest Walgreens. Our 3 month old has been waiting for his ear drops since Monday.. Its now Thursday.. Countless calls to the clueless pharmacy staff has yielded no results. The first script was available but not here so they sent us to a different store. Spoke with Pharmacist at that store and he kindly explained no we dont have that ear drop in stock and havent in a while. He explained that script was generally not common and had to be ordered. So back we go to this Longwood Walgreens. Same lady here now saying oh its on backorder and we have no clue when it will come in....Okay now gotta call the doctor and get a different script filled. Now this one gets submitted and now there is an issue with insurance.. I understand that happens but we found out through our insurance walgreens filed our SONS script for a GIRL with a different last name... Okay back on the phone with Walgreens... Theyre clueless.. Shocker... Im sensing a trend here... So they say okay we will call the insurance company but no one ever did. Just spoke with Jessica on the phone at that location and verbatim she said its written on a piece of paper but no one has called yet.. Our first call to Walgreens about telling them to call insurance company again was nearly 24 hours ago..I understand mistakes happen but all signs here point to poor leadership, subpar standards, and wreck less misuse of personal information. BE WARNED ABOUT USING THIS WALGREENS!!

Its your typical Walgreens but their parking lot is nasty man! They must never have it cleaned...yuck!

Place is awful. Was transferred 3 times before getting to pharmacy. Pharmacist was mumbling when she answered the phone, i told her to stop mumbling then gave me severe attitude. She also would not tell me if they had my prescription in stock. Would not recommend going here and will never shop there again.
