I never knew buying a used boat could be so easy. Jay and Chris are fantastic and you will not find a more honest team in the business. I cant say enough about how great an experience it was. We could not be happier with our purchase.

The below statement from Jay is a complete lie. They had the boat motor nice and warmed up when we got there to purchase the boat and they still had a little difficulties getting it started. I even pointed out things that should have been done and they said not to worry about it just go out and enjoy the boat. We took it back for the things that were wrong that I pointed out and they charged us and I can go on and on and on. We will show you the thousands of dollars of repair bills that we had eventually had to take to another boat mechanic to even get the boat to run right to enjoy it. Not only that they sold us a trailer with the wrong size weight limit tires on it we found out that the hard way after all the difficulties we had with them.Like anyting in God we trust do your due diligence and dont trust any fast-talking people. Make sure you take the boat out and run it on the water to be certain it runs well before purchasing. I WOULD INSIST ON IT!We ended up taking the boat back three different times to try to repair the same issues some which were pointed out at purchase and was told not to worry about it. They could never figure out and fix the issue and or didnt want to and we ended up taking it to another mechanic and they fixed it. We supposedly purchased a boat that was water ready and ended up spending about $900 to make it water ready and right. We will be filing a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau.

Bought a great boat from Chris and Jay and the service was excellent. Chris checked all the boxes for us. No gimmicks approach just straight shooting. Made sure to discuss the proper boat and trailer for our usage and took us out for a sea trial which included training on Boat Launch etiquette and loading the boat back onto the trailer. Equipped us with all the safety gear, Registry paperwork, and sent us on our way happy. We found our Boat Guy!

Purchased a SeaRay 180 sport from Jay and Chris about 3 months ago. I normally stay away from dealers but Jay and Chris are not your average boat dealers! My total experience from first phone call to pulling out with my new, used boat was nothing less than amazing! They really are concerned about you and your satisfaction, safety and feeling comfortable about what is going on in the process. I could go on and on.....bottom line is if you are looking for a used boat.....see them!

We bought a boat from them. It needed to be washed and vacuumed, badly. We were told it would be taken care of before we picked it up. When we came to get it, nothing had been done to it. We feel they were dishonest in their information they gave us, as well, about the boat. We let them know we were new to boating and wanted to know what things were important about this particular boat. We also asked if anything needed to be fixed. We were told no. This was a lie. Several things ended upbeing wrong with the boat. Our boat was almost damaged because of problems with the boat and we ended up having to be towed from the ocean because the battery had issues. We will not buy from them again. They were friendly, until we boat the boat and then wanted nothing to do with us.

Ive been to a few boat dealers with no sucess.... Then we run across Family Fun Marine and I swear it was a blessing. Wife and I found a Chaparral 240 Signature series. Now mind you this is my first cabin cruiser from bow riders. We me Jay and hit it off. Now I know yr thinking its their job to sell me but I tell you not here. They want you for life (in a good way) meaning they will do what it takes within reason to make sure we were happy with our purchase. No wham bam thank you maam foolery here... I was so amazed with this operation that when I picked my cruiser up I dropped off my bow rider. Anyways if your looking for a certain boat and these guys have it,GET IT YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!!

If you take one review to heart please take the time to read this.I purchased a 2006 pontoon boat from family fun marine in 2017 shortly after the motor blew I was broken hearted and had no idea what I was going to do. I communicated with Jay and told him my problem though it was not his fault or mine the motor didnt last up to expectation Jay worked w me and went above and beyond to get me back on the water. THIS IS THE TRUE MEANING OF CUSTOMER APPRECIATION AND RESPECT!!! I would like to personally thank Jay and Chris for their hard work and strong business ethic. Furthermore I would recommend Family Fun Marine to all my friends and family.

In a word, Integrity. Traveled almost a thousand miles to see a boat and it was every thing Jay said it was. No surprises... Jay promised to hold the boat for me since I had made arrangements to travel so far. Another buyer put in a higher offer than Jay and I had agreed to, but Jay stayed true to his promise and held the boat for me at significant cost to himself. He has a first class crew that have been with him for many many years. A person is known by the company he keeps, a company is known by the people it keeps! You dont get to choose your relatives in life but if you could you would want these people for your family.Jay is an honest man, not because honesty is the best policy or its good for business or from fear of being caught in a half truth, he is honest because it is in his nature. A Mercedes dealership owner that I built a home for as a once young building contractor told me, Dave, take care of the people and the dollars will take care of themselves! This was great advice that I have tried to live by and it appears that Jay and his crew do also. You will not find better people to do business with. I wish them continued success and you will not be disapointed if you deal with them.

Came in on a whim with no intention of purchasing a boat. Jay approached us super friendly and informative. He took his time explaining each boat, their pros and cons and was extremely kind and knowledgable. Ended up going with a Cobalt. He took us out for a test drive and knowing that we were unexperienced boaters, he spent a good hour showing us the ropes. We felt that we were in great hands and he made our first boat purchase a breeze!

I have purchased 3 boats from Family Fun Marine over the past 6 years. Never had a issue, I have had better luck buying a used boat from them than buying a new boat from one of the Central Florida larger dealers.

Brought a very nice boat from Jay. 2 years later had major issue with motor caused by something that could of been avoided. Motor had a recall that would of stopped the major problem I now have. The motor was never put into my name so I received no recall notice. (Or was I told I needed to register the motor) so I would get recalls.. You would think A Dealer would do that. Thanks for a MAJOR ISSUE THAT COULD OF BEEN AVOIDED JAY.

Such a horrible place...First of all its a fenced in area of an abandoned shopping plaza that this man jay stuart,,(the fun coordinator) tries to sell you a boat that either is a consignment,,or a boat that was previously severely damaged,,or something he got so cheap from one of his shady buddies... Dont let him fool you with his Im a churchgoing god fearing man,,, thats bull, he hides behind his religion to let him look honest....He is a shady man,, but look for yourself,,go there and see...also if he has been there so long why am I the first person to review here.
