Went for a light shop. This store is clean and well organized. The deli is why I go here. The guy behind the counter is very good at his job and takes pride in his work.

Decently location. They have a lot in stock. If you shop during a sale you can save a lot of money shopping here. Parking lot is large and easy to find a parking spot. The shopping carts are not brought in quick enough at times, so the customer is left going back to the cart corral and retrieving one to shop with. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I love that Food Lion now carries a few of the foods that I grew up with in New Orleans

Purchased items from this Food Lion. It was obvious they had gotten very hot all the chocolate was melted and everything was stuck together. Poor storage quality

Store very clean at times....products placed nicely on the shelves once new shipment has arrived :) staff hasnt approved much for me as far as hospitality is concerned. Would be nice if protocols were re-established for the elite shopping experience. Understanding the mask is uncomfortable for some, however hovering over the fruit, breathing on or near over the fruit, is unacceptable to be coughing nearby too close. Germs fly during a cough with out a mask, its minimized while wearing masks!

Im giving this place 4 stars only because I find what I want. I get in and out fast. Theres only a few employees that are friendly. Edward is the best. Some others there need to go

Nice to see the expansion.....need to add more specialty items like trader joes....it will keep them relevant. Also I feel like all stores should require masks to keep down produce contamination. Overall the store layout is easy to find things

Very convenient to the community & their sale prices are very good. Produce is fresh but they tend to run out of exceptional sale items too quickly.

I love the convenience of this Foodlion less than 10 mins from my home but unfortunately their food is always expired even when the food hasn’t hit the expiration date. I’m tired of buying food and going home to find out the food is bad. It’s not worth the constant waste of money. I’m a busy professional and don’t have time to constantly take food back.

I often do reviews, but this stuck with me so profoundly that I needed to. I have never had such an unpleasant visit to any store like the one that I just had not even 45 minutes ago. This store ha gone through drastic changes, the changes in staff is always frequent. This afternoon as I was just about ready to check out, there was a young man ( teen) who was in a store uniform waiting at the end of the check out counter ( obviously he had an available register) I looked at him, he returned the look and finally I asked are you open he looked down at his phone because he was in the middle of texting and turned around to go around to the register. This young mane proceeded to text without a word from him, he finally put his phone in his back pocket as all the groceries were on the belt. He said nothing, except to tell me the total. I looked around at the store and saw nothing but young people, all hanging in groups, none assist the multiple customers there. I finally went to the customer service desk where Im pretty sure the manger as well as another associate was there. No acknowledgement of me standing there for the first 3-4 minutes. Finally she says hello, I asked if they had a customer feedback card or phone # I could have and the looks on both faces changed immediately. Im all for keeping young people working, but you can never just have a body present especially in the customer service industry. the only reason that this store is this busy is because the Shoppers has closed down. This should be the reason why you should be better. There was no customer service shown at all, not even from the manager. I will give my money to another store, I wont reward that type of behavior with my hard earned money.

Usually have a good experience in this grocery store. It’s close to my house and where I go if I need something fast. Nice they have curbside pickup now and their store club generates some decent coupons. All in all I recommend it. Now if they could just Lysol wipes and spray.....

Really neat location. Great variety of food for unbeatable prices and limited reserve wines- I was able to find Snoop doggs 19 crimes wine for $10.(Driving an hour away from DC-totally worth the drive). Very hardworking and kind employees here as well.

From initial engagement here, I was prepared to go to four points... that is until my shopping had concluded and I was preparing to pay. The associate at the checkout, was flat and colorless, with minimal response. I asked how he was doing. He said nothing. Even when I thanked him for double bagging my heavier items, nothing. Lastly even my departure was disregarded. All of this is a gross disappointment after such helpfulness by employees on the floor. Ugh. They still have work to do.

Its a very respectable food lion with a large parking lot and servicing the heart if Lorton. The cashiers and sales representatives and behind the counter teams take pride in their service and are professional. Whether its the small things like wiping down the self checkout kiosks in between customers, stocking shelves, ringing and bagging, or working to bring carts from the drop off to the front foyer, you get the sense that management cares about this establishment and its appearance. Its very clean.

Food lion has a few conventional vegetables which are priced reasonably when organics are not needed. But the selection of organic foods is rather limited in this store.

Im a new customer to Food Lion and the people are great. Even though I see Ihop next to it,which is the restaurant that racially profiled me on Veterans Day and the waitress patronized me- which is a constant reminder of where I will never go again- it is next to it..The customer service is great. The prices are great. I usually go on post at Fort Belvoir to get my groceries, but Food Lion has my loyalty as long their customer service stays the same. They can have my money. The prices are great for many items and I can balance between there, the Middle Eastern Stores and the Commissary, how to budget for food and other supplies. I like going there, its more fun to shop. My friend got me into going yo Food Lion two months ago. I can spend 70 bucks for two people and the way I cook it lasts me up to ten days! The only downside is, that their vegetable selection is limited. But thats fine, I just go to the military base. I recommend it. I am really happy how the cashiers interact with the customers, they are friendly and very helpful.. I was a cashier in my mid 20s, of course it is a bit different nowadays with the pandemic. So I know what it it is like to work in a grocery store.I recommend the store for small pick and medium size shopping-but thats just my opinion, I dont have any small kids anymore.

Although the store is under renovation and there are fewer cold cases and no customer service deak, we were still able to find everything on our grocery list and get help when we needed it. Checkout was fast and friendly and our bagger paid attention to our items such that our bread and chips were not smashed.

The store is clean. The prices are some what reasonable and comparable to the area. There were long lines with staff working the sales floor. The staff is professional. The carts were readily available. There was a good selection of food fresh and frozen. The store was well organized. I frequent this neighborhood store.

This location has been great during the pandemic! Cleaning every self check machine once each customer were complete with their transactions! Ive been going there for a few years. Plenty parking,easy in and out. Prices are very reasonable and I find the quality and choices on beef greater than the competition. I wish it was closer to me. Hey and the staff is real nice people.

Why is the bakery saying they cant complete a cake by saturday evening when I come on Friday at lunchtime to order it. Dont people order cakes for the weekends? They say the baker left already....why come to work if you leave by lunchtime and what were all those other people behind the bakery counter doing? Waste of time

Store manager Veronica Cortez is rude, unprofessional. Her staff is also unprofessional. They have zero customer service. They take out their personal frustrations on the customer. All the customers were very upset because of her behavior in the store. Please Don’t waste your hard earned dollars in that store where you don’t have any respect. It is so sad that food line had hired these kind of people.......

I was in your store Friday and as I was checking out I forgot to pick up a bottle of cold water from one of your small fridges and after I paid for my food I ran over to the other checkout lane and back the Michelle s lane to pay for my water and I could not find my ATM card. Michelle was so very concerned about my card that she started looking through my bags when all of a sudden she looked up the lane where I got my water and she saw my card on the floor. Michelle was so involved in trying to find my card and and helpful she is a asset to your store. Thanks again Michelle you saved mr alot of work.

I go to this store often to as it is in the area that I live in. They are always clean and they have a good selection of products.I love the fact that the staff are so helpful. More than once I have asked the staff where to find something and they all have it memorized so easy directions were given quickly.I have and will always go to this store for quick groceries.

This store has a lot of product and its inside Gunston Plaza Shopping Center. That makes it very convenient with all the other things theyre like to post office Dollar Tree and many others. I did find that they have a problem with some of the pricing thats on the shelves. The sign may say buy one get one free, and when you get to the checkout its another price.

Im torn with Food Lion. Much cheaper and I like their Rewards program that they offer with digital coupons. They do not have some brands that I like for my toddler which is happy baby or happy tot. They carry some but not all the products. Also, Im not happy with their produce section. Not much to choose from and Ive gotten produce that just doesnt look healthy. So usually shop there and one other place to get everything I need for my family. Overall though Im happy with the prices and I will keep going back.

I always know what to expect when I visit this area and I shop at Food Lion. Further up north there is no Food Lion but I can always expect to be greeted with a smile and use clean bathrooms. Every time I go I end up spending more than I wanted to spend because they have such good deals.

No atm at this store. I tried to get cash back at the self check out and was successful. The guy running the station comes over to me and tells me if I want to get cash back again i would have to use another card because they have to keep track of where the money came from. Apparently using the same card would throw the count off. I have never heard of no non sense like that and he seemed as if he didn’t know what he was talking about either. Just making up stuff from the top of his head. Now I can see if he said something like, there is a limit on cash back at self checkout and that was it. I do know that it can be a hassle to open the machines and refill the cassettes with money. I worked self checkout for 3 years. Come up with a better excuse cashier 0501.
