Once in a while though, you will find the occasional slob who is lazy, maladjusted, and unhelpful. Like a certain young man who appeared to have been completely stressed out by a line of only two customers at his check-out station (one with 15 items, the other with just 2 items) and was telling a third customer to go to a different counter. You know who I am talking about. The question for management is how they can put a person in front of paying customers who is, obviously, so inept, so poorly representing the brand name.All that being said, Ms. Gillian who was working the Customer Service station today was most delightful, and eager to help. She gained this Giant an additional star today.

For truckers the back dock area has plenty of room for docking and maneuvering. Perfect spot to catch some shut eye. Inside store is clean and smells good.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy! Rude customer “service.” When my sick wife came with out two kids in tow to pick up her prescription, she asked the pharmacist for allergy information on the drug. “Look at it yourself” and “call the company if you want to know what’s in it.” REALLY?? Is this woman for real? Isn’t that the point of a pharmacist - to make sure we’re getting the medicine we need without other harmful side effects? Not only that, but the pharmacist, Sima, talked openly (and derisively) about my wife’s health condition in front of the other customers waiting. I will NEVER return to that pharmacy.

This store is decent. The only thing that knocked a star is that the cashier didn’t know how to bag. He put edible items in with cleaning supplies and the meat weren’t in separate bags or with other meat items.

Tonight the self-checkout lanes were dismantled. This caused longer lines, so a manager paged Ethan to open a new register. He is a quick, accurate cashier.

Wonderful location and cleanliness! Pricey but its Fairfax Co.-ish. A bit on small side, but quicker to get in and out.

Good collection of produce, ready-to-eat meals, and baked good. Not too busy and pretty clean. Helpful staff.

I have been ordering curbside pickup for 9 months now from the Ox Road Giant. I have nothing but great things to say. The order is always perfect, the produce is always fresh and the staff makes the perfect substitutions. They also go out of their way if I make a request. Its not easy to shop for someone. Thank you to Adriana, Danielle, Shelly, Ed and the rest of the staff for doing such an amazing job! Because of the great service, convenience and time saved I will continue this service long-term.

Impressive store. Well stocked throughout, helpful bakery, superior produce.

Outstanding customer service. We frequently buy our groceries here and the staff is always helpful. Recently, we got our gender reveal cake from here and the customer service at the bakery was superb and went above and beyond our expectations to assist us. Also, the cake was delicious!

Silvia the new clerk was so helpful and even up sold me on some snacks near the register. I think she was new however she was knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and even knew where the spices were. Thank you for making my stop after work as easy as possible

Produce is overpriced for quality. Few organic produce selections and quality is poor compared to whole foods fresh vegetables and fruits. Prices are high for conventional vegetables. Whole foods organics are similar in price. There are no pasture raised eggs. The cage free eggs are a marketing gimic and far overpriced as you get nothing. Few if any grass fed meat products can be found. Dairy has a few grass fed milk though. Other dairy and cheese do not have grass fed options. 98% of yogurt is loaded with sugars. Most of cheeses are low quality highly processed. No grassfed cheese that i saw. Lots of junk food aisles. Lots of sodas and sugar laden cereal aisles. Most nuts are loaded with sugars. Few nut options for the health conscious. In my opinion most items in the store are way overpriced for quality and fact the sugars are in many items. Baked goods section for years has way overpriced low quality baked goods. Try whole foods baked goods for your own opinion. Quality of baked goods at whole foods is far superior and so is taste.

This is IMO the best Giant in the area! The store is always clean, stocked and brightly lit! Definitely in my top 3 favorite grocery stores!They have a huge variety at this location and many times when I am looking for an item I cant find at the Food Lion I regularly shop at by my house, I find it here.The people are very friendly and helpful if you need it! I have had some issues w/ some of the digital coupons not working and they always make it right!Their produce is usually pretty fresh as they sell through it rather regularly.I have shopped at most of the Giants in NVA and this one is the best one Ive been to!

As big as this store is and as busy as it was you would think they would have more cashiers. Ended up putting my stuff back and leaving.

Great local grocery store to get anything you want.

Even on Christmas Eve, Giant was very easy to navigate - COVID-19 wise. The aisles are directionally marked, shelves are stocked, and it wasnt as crazy as Id heard other stores are today

I moved about 6 years ago from Woodbridge and I forgot a date when I had a vaccine at this store. I called the pharmacy and they still had my record. The lady was very helpful and gave me the information. I now live in Winchester, Va.and have for many years shopped ar Martin’s. Both stores are a pleasure to shop at.

Our favorite store for 20 years. Clean, tidy, and with product availability. They always have good deals on sale. It tends to be a notch more expensive in certain products, but I suppose it is what the local market requires. That is compensated for by the convenience of its location.

Produce has been horrible!I am going to re-do my experiences with this location.. produce is more then horrible, its deplorable. I literally picked up celery that limped completely over. They are constantly out of stock of normal things, the meat section..... I try not to buy meat from here if I dont have to. Its not the fact hey have sub par meat and selection but When I realized that they were charging organic chicken breast prices for non organic tenders and didnt seem to care when I brought it up. Thats when I decided not to purchase meat from here. Most times I go to the Giant in Springfield but when your in a pinch and this is the closest to your home it kind of annoying. It seems to have gotten worse since Shoppers closed. Hopefully something better opens up there.

Fairly useful, has everything you could want from a grocery store. This one has the best old baked goods section of any other Giant. Be sure to get the bonus card thing or whatever as many of the sales apply to only it.

Great location right off of 123, always a quick visit when I need it to be with ample parking and multiple entrances to the parking lot. Lots of great produce and other options for what I need all in one place. Always find what I need here.

Very nice, clean, well stocked store. Especially in the Gluten Free section to which, unfortunately, my wife has an intense allergic reaction as well as soy. Would not hesitate to reccomendto anybody. for their grocery needs !!

Nice, clean grocery store. Had to ask where something was and the Giant people were very nice. One of them ended up showing me where it was. Not many people shopping on a weekday evening. Prices are on the higher end but the store was convenient. Plenty of parking.

Was a very clean and well laid out store.Very easy to find things. Actually its laid out exactly the way you would think a grocery store is laid out. The milk is in the far back corner and on the opposite side is the meat and seafood department and the produce. The vegetables and fruits were very fresh and very nicely laid out. I would recommend this place to anybody that lives in this area the prices are very aggressive and I have shopped at several Giants and this is by far the cleanest and nicest laid out that Ive seen. There is plenty of parking and it seems like no matter where you park its very close to the front door. Checking out was very easy there are several self-checkout registers and there were several open registers with actual cashiers so it made it very easy for paying and getting out of there quickly.

This location has an excellent collection of items and they are well organized.

Cleanest Giant in the area. I like the fact that it has an aisle separating specialty foods such as organic or meatless products making it easy to shop for vegetarian and vegan options.

My favorite Giant Store. Love the location and shopping center as well. Its clean, professional plus friendly staff, great pharmacy, and big selection of grocery items. I pass another Giant grocery store to go to this one, thats how much I love this store.

I normally dont participate in late night(10:00pm) grocery shopping, but I did tonight and it felt like the world was my oyster. So many items were on sale, so I left with way more than I intended to. The store was clean, the produce was fresh, and the staff was helpful.

The Giant in Lorton on ox road is great. The people who there are very helpful and friendly I dont go to any other Giant but that one keep up the fantastic work

Poor selection in the produce department, especially of items that are not already rotting on the shelf. The deli department closes at 8pm. Im pretty sure Im not the only person who goes grocery shopping after 8pm, so Im not sure why they close that department so early. If you end up needing to go elsewhere to finish your grocery shopping anyway, why bother going there in the first place?

Grate fresh meat Deli bar fruits Galore is located in Fairfax County and I believe because of that the products in there are fresh the top of the line so if you go there youll get you know really good food

REALLY good customer service from my cashier, Colin. Good selection of non-beef items (chicken/turkey sausages, veggie patties, etc.) for grilling.

Was in the store all of 5 mins and the women with shoulder length grey hair behind the customer service counter could have said all the same things without being so rude. I understand if you dont want to be at work, but maybe hide it a little better. Wont be going back there if thats the kind of customer service you get. There are a million grocery stores in Lorton/Burke.

I previously lived in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland and while I lived there, I never experienced a Giant Store in that state that wasnt very clean, well stocked, and with friendly, professional personnel.That said, I moved here to Woodbridge Virginia a year ago, and have found that the majority of the Giant Stores in the Woodbridge area around my home are not nearly as clean, or as well stocked, the produce is typically of very poor quality. The aisles cluttered with merchandise, making getting through them easily very frustrating. I finally found that If I wanted to achieve the same quality of Giant Stores that I experienced in Maryland, I was going to have to travel a bit farther out of my neighborhood to get to it.To date, Ive found that this Giant on Ox Road in Lorton, is one of the two Giant stores I shop at! This store looks clean, smells clean, the aisles are typically uncluttered, and produce, meats and various products are fresh and plentiful. The personnel are friendly & helpful as well.I also go the the Giant store at Hedges Run (?) and typically find the same great conditions and helpful personnel at that store as well. I dont understand why the other Giant stores in the Woodbridge, VA arent as well managed. I have three which are closer to me mileage wise, but frankly, Ill go the extra mile to be able to shop in the well managed Giant store.

We moved to Lorton 2 years ago and just not impressed with this location at all. Not well-stocked, staff not very helpful....we go to one a little further almost Springfield instead...but mostly we go to the new Wegmans in Alexandria. NO comparison.
