The bagels here are freaking delicious and the service is one of a kind. They have a great selection going on and the service is one of a kind.
Ordered a bagel with lox & cream cheese. It was awful! The onions were old & chewy/stringy. The tomatoes were old & wilty. The capers were also old & chewy and the cucumber was rubbery. I wanted the bagel toasted and it was cold when I bit into the sandwich. Also, lox should be made open face because it is too difficult to eat in sandwich form...everything just squeezes out when you take a bite.On a side note, the cashier was unfriendly and the shop seemed dirty. I will not do business here again.
A workmanlike bagel spot: certified kosher mind you, unlike many others. They have a couple seats and tables outside. Wide selection of flavored cream cheese and they use a decent white fish salad. The lox cream cheese is good.
Tried to support and ordered to go. Walked 30 min with our 3 year old. They had door locked, dirty tables outside and we tried to call, the workers acted like they didnt see or hear us. One waved us as a bother. Another ignored phone too and we could hear it. Saw our order was now cancelled. Used google pay. Now we wait days for refund. My wife used to use them for business luncheons. Their hours of operation were online and on door until 3 or 3:30 pm. We got there at 2:30 pm. Were done. Plenty of businesses to support.
Love that we have a neighborhood bagel place, BUT since Covid, they only have 1 choice for lox & its the absolute worst! Its so processed, I just have little interest in stopping in anymore. Bring in some quality (& whole wheat onion bagels) & Ill happily return...
I’m shocked this place doesn’t have more reviews. To me, this is the best place in LA for bagels. They are made fresh everyday.
Just got 3 different kinds of bagels and 2 of them were pretty hard and definitely not fresh. Their cream cheese is delicious though so I might give them another chance, not sure yet...
Absolutely delicious! Loved the bagel texture and the amount of ingredients on the sandwich had a nice balance. First time ever trying an Egg Pretzel Bagel and it was fantastic. Definitely will be coming here again!
The omelette bagels sandwiches are amazing.
I mean, this has to be a contender for one of the best bagels in Los Angeles. Nice and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, not too dense, not too light...top notch.
Great food, great service
This is the best bagel place hands down!! Amazing bagels, soups, best cream cheese!! And the customer service is fantastic! We were standing in line this morning (during COVID) and many customers came up to complain about the line (which went very quickly). Come on guys its a Sunday! What do you expect?😂 The owner’s grandson was very sweet and understanding with the customers and reassured everyone that they will be with them shortly. What a nice guy! All around a great experience as usual:)
I grew up on these bagels, and for those who know, know. Once youve eaten these, there are no other bagels to discuss. These are unicorn bagels, here, folks. Get them and support small business. Very Covid prepared for in store order/pick up.
Sylvia cashier register - great.Maya the one that makes food - wouldnt trust her to make toast. Poor mindset.
Best bagel ever ! I recommend this place.
This place is a neighborhood staple. Bagels always fresh, great spreads (jalapeño cream cheese and whitefish are my favorites), and the soups are a must get, no matter the weather. When available, the combo of their fresh soft pretzel + sonnys split pea soup = incredible. I live very close to the cadillac location and I have been a customer for over a decade and I continue to go not only go back, but I still look at it as a treat after all these years. Went today and there was a line out the door, but they were only allowing 2-3 customers in at a time. I felt the need to write this review because the owners grandson was at the door opening it for customers and sanitizing it. I have always loved this place but I just really appreciated the service today, especially during these difficult times.
This place has very good food, but when I called they said please wait and I waited for a good 30 mins for them to answer.
Good food. Good people. But terrible parking. Order ahead and park in alley to pickup. Excellent food.
They have soup but buy 11am the best is soldout
The bagels were really good but it’s one of those places where everyone seems like they’re in a bad mood, like they’re somehow too busy to be kind to their customers. Had to stand in line to get my to-go order and it took 15 mins for them to serve bagels to the 3 people ahead of me... but again, really good bagels.
I love soup. And I hate to leave bad reviews. But Ive had so many bad experiences here that I cant hold back any longer. Because I love soup I often find myself stopping here for lunch as I drive by. And its always the same. Luke warm soup. If there is one thing good soup should be it is HOT. Even if it is the best soup in the world, if its not served hot is it ruined. Luke warm soup is bad no matter what. Now, when I call the soup luke warm, I am being generous. Usually the soup is barely a notch above room temperature. But today was the last straw. I will never go back. I ordered split pea soup that was room temperature, bordering on cold. It was as if you took a can of split pea soup out of the cupboard, opened it and ate it without heating it. It was so bad I took one bite and threw the rest in the trash. I could not eat more than one bite. And I love split pea soup. But I do not love cold split pea soup.Sorry Bagel Factory/Sonnys Soups. Ive given you so many chances and its always the same. While Im at it, Id like to point out that bagels are $1.50 here, but if you add cream cheese it doubles the price to $3. And this isnt one of those places that generously piles the cream cheese on. You get a light smear of cream cheese on your bagel for an additional $1.50. A bagel with a dab or cream cheese shouldnt cost $3.
The best bagels in town. I love their soups. The soups are the most flavorful. We always buy the bagels for our special occasions. Consistent service staff always has a smile. Parking in front or on the street. There are a couple breakfast runs where the place gets busy, but the owner staffs this place with plenty of help and you can get your food and coffee very quickly. Excellent place.
Top 3 bagel place in LA. Very authentic NY style bagels. They taste the best early in the morning. I used to get a bagel every single morning from here during residency when I was rotating through the west side. Other places I remember being great were Bagel Broker and Brooklyn bagel company. The challah bread here is nice and soft, very tasty. Terrible little parking spots.
Wanted to support our local businesses So I walked to the Bagel factory to pick up few bagels for my kids, staff were rude (not a big deal) but most importantly the bagels were old and chewy, my 9 year old literally couldnt eat it, I tried one myself and was the worst bagel I have ever had, bagels were defiantly a day or 2 old, I hate to say this but will never go back unless they start selling only fresh bagels only
Im from Brooklyn, New York and I know bagels. The bagels here are great and always fresh. Great selection and their pricing better than most. I wish they would stay open longer in the night like its done in Brooklyn. They also make fantastic breads.
Love their bagels.
Best bagel place! Great soups and I love their high fiber whole wheat bread
Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside -- these might be the most authentic bagels west of the Hudson. Theres always a line but service is quick and efficient. In a hurry? They offer takeaway shmears and packaged smoked fish, just grab a dozen to go.
Great neighborhood bagel shop. I like this location better than the Sepulveda shop, staff is a lot more attentive.
Very good and always fresh
Nice girls sandwich makers, friendly cashier, and all the smiley girls in the front, this was friday, a busy day, theyre fast workers
I love these bagels..they also have these really cool teas you can buy in cubes.
HATE IT !!EVERYTIME I GO THEY YOUNG GIRL SKIMPS ON THE CREAM CHEESE
Was running late but was not impressed with neither the service nor the food which was bagel with cream cheese n lox. No veges. Lady gave me a look when I asked for lox without veges. Almost $10. I think this was my first time and last. There is lot other place I can go get onion bagel with cream cheese n lox for 10 buck.
Good not great. Very friendly. Very fast.
I wish I could post the aroma on line. Terrific kosher bagels and soups, friendly service and great community atmosphere.
Great soups and bagels but sometimes a long wait in the morning.
No more bagels at 1 P.M.?!?!?What bagel shop does not have bagels let alone STOP serving you completely at 12:55 P.M.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE !!!Staff is very rude and unfriendly. Owner pops by once in a blue moon and does nothing to help just takes his own bagels and makes a kid smile.
If youre closed early, put up a sign or turn out the lights. Something.
The hours arent actually till 7, they close at 6. So I got there at 630 and tried to let the workers know their hours are wrong online when I realized they were closed and they made shooing hand motions at me instead of letting me help. Ive been here before and the food is good, but the service was bad then as well. I probably wont be coming back if this is going to be my experience.
One of the best bagel shops in LA. Very fresh and has a huge variety minus the fact that they have no ham, and long lines in the AM...
Amazing bagels every time. Love this place.
Our favorite is the soups! They are so delicious 😋
This is the spot for good bagel.Pretty quick service too.
Flys Flys Flys how can they sell food with flys all over. Not good and on top of that the employees get an attitude if you bring it up.
Freshest best tasting bagels in LA hands down. Customer service needs an improvement with a smile though.
Good bagels. Loved the coffee
Great Bagels lox gets busy during the weekend but worth it
Good bagels, friendly staff, and vegan cream cheese available, made in-house!
Good morning. It was with the grate bagels
I like that bagel. Thats a nice bagel.
Kosher !!!!!! The aroma says it all - however if you get there 2 minutes after closing dont expect the hourly wagers to accommodate you. 😎
Best bagels in LA! go on friday & grab a challah too :)
Fantastic. Everything about this place was fantastic. The service, the bagels, the soup, everything.
Great soups. Good service
This building used in the 1993 movie national lampoons Loaded Weapon 1 opening scenes shootout.
Great bagels and they offer a large variety!
The Soup The Bagels The Challah. YUM YUM YUMMY
Microwaved omelets? Nope. Why is there a kitchen back there if you’re going to basically run a counter service without a flattop? Spend your bagel money somewhere else on Robertson.
They all very nice at this place and its always very fresh.
Delicious as always
Great Bagels!!!
Best bagals and soup around
Always fresh and tasty, best bagels of the city
They make a mighty fine bagel
They refused to toast my bagel. Said they dont toast after 4:30pm.
Too long to Waite for an untoaeted bagel with cream cheese
One of the best bagel in LA
Multiple soups available on a daily basis. Specific soups changes, daily.
