Jimmy was an absolute dream, extremely helpful. I also appreciated his perspective on touring bikes. I would certainly return. I especially liked the vibe. Not at all like those big name shops that care more about sales and less about listening. Jimmy you ROCK!

Hands down the best bike shop in Los Angeles. I bring my bike all the way from Venice Beach just so I can deal with them. They greet me by name every time I arrive and text me with updates throughout the process of working on my bike. Truly a dream shop. Thank you so much for providing such a pleasant experience in an industry full of grumpy hipsters.

The staff was very knowledgeable and help me pick just the right accessories for my bike. They also did work on my bike and did a few other things without charging me. I really feel fortunate to have such knowledgeable and generous bike mechanics in my area. Mauricio really took the time to explain what I was doing wrong and how to adjust it. Golden Saddle is my shop of choice in LA. I’ve had dozens of great experiences with these guys, both in service and sales. Their service staff aren’t always the friendliest, but they always do great work on all my (quite different) bikes. Plus the prices are more than reasonable for high quality service. They’ve been my shop for a year and I won’t take my bikes anywhere else.

Can’t say enough good things about these guys. From buying a bike there, to getting bikes repaired there, to customer service on small things to questions on other things (that often they have no incentive to answer other than just being kind) - they are just the best.

These guys are awesome, they know their stuff. I walked in for the first time ever today and they immediately came over to me to see what I needed. I told them I was looking for bar tape and for some help getting my brake cables cut. While I looked at the tape, they cut my cables and I was out in only a few minutes. Definitely going back soon.

I love this bike shop. The guys here are amazing, true professionals. When I first walked in I thought Id be an outsider, but I wasnt, I was instantly handed a beer, then proceeded to talk about what I was looking for. The other reviewer who posted a 1 star review must have a bad attitude because everyone I have dealt with has been nothing but classy.I live in West LA but I make the trek out to GSC for any and all of my cycling needs.

Golden Saddle had great taste in bikes. Super-friendly service and while they are a small shop (and thus have a limited inventory) they are happy to order anything you want. Limited parking so ride your bike.

I rode my miss-shifting bike from North Hollywood to Golden Saddle to get tuned up. Bike now shifts perfectly. Even though the techs were busy, they took the time to look at my bike and make the adjustment it needed.

This shop is great and so is the service. The guys there are very welcoming and friendly and will help you with anything.

They charge me for stuff I don’t need, one of them try to make me change parts that I change a week ago, I can’t trust a such liar. They just try to charge for book a maintenance.

I can say it is expensive, I took my bike for a tune up and to change some old things to new. After I got my bike back there was an issue with my chain which was one of the things I got new. When i took it back I was told by the mechanic there was nothing wrong that I can leave it if I still wanted to and he will look into it. So I left the bike the same day I got a call back from the mechanic saying there was nothing wrong since I had al ready explained what the chain was doing and it was something it never did before I took it to their shop, I didnt want to argue with him I just said thank you for your time I apreciated . I then took my bike to felipes on Wilshire which is where I always take it because theyre perty good at what they do the only reason I took it here is because a friend recommended it and said they are really good since I was getting a lot done to be safe take it to golden saddle. At felipes they right away found the problem I need a new cassette they showed me how worn out it was and since I had a new chain it wasnt gripping well there for the chain would come off when the pedal would move back. Which the mechanic from saddle told my dont pedal backwards, is meant for this to pedal forward and there is nothing wrong with your bike. Also for the tuneup at felipes they take your bike apart detail clean it and put it back together. Golden saddle didnt clean it. I did call them back to tell them how my bike was fixed and to tell the mechanic to be more open minded on how to fix things also when they had my bike the first time the said it was ready I took two buses to get there because I dont have a car when I got there they said it wasnt ready😑. But Jimmy the front desk jimmy was always very attentive and helpful kind and listen to what I had to say when I had my complaint.

Definitely do great work on your bike, experienced mechanics. As a bike racer, attention to detail is KEY. If something isnt to your liking they will fix it right up.

My mechanic basically just did the bare minimum. Overpriced for what they do, but its Silverlake, what do you expect. You have lots of choices in LA, so shop elsewhere.
