Been 2 years since I got my solar system installed with AmGreen and thought it was time to write a very overdue review. To start, the savings AmGreen promised me were met and exceeded. My bill used to be around 180 a month and now it ranges from $15 to $30. The customer service has also been consistently excellent. Just recently, my monitoring wasnt showing my systems production data so when I called AmGreen about the issue, a technician was sent over to my house the same day to fix the issue. I am very glad I went with AmGreen for my homes solar. Would highly recommend fellow house owners to work with them.

The electricity bills savings have been very accurate to your proposal despite my increased electricity use from working longer hours. Thank you AmGreen for the honest promises. Felt like thanking Amgreen for their great work. Half a year in with my new SunPower system and no problems! During the process, all the paperwork and necessay technical information were thoughtfully and professionally explained to me. They installed SunPower (for a fair price), which in my research, was the most trustworthy brand. The best part...Ive been saving a LOT of money and energy on my utility bills while doing my part to be better to the environment. Going solar is. the. way. to. go. Also, I was blown away by Amgreens service. They took care of the electrical panel upgrades that had to go with the solar system which was an enormous relief to me -Amgreen really takes care of you! here are pics of my houses PV installation (they look fantastic). Took about 2ish months from initial quote to installation. I had my share of doubts by some of the reviews here but Im glad I took the chance because its been one of the best investments/decisions Ive made. Genuinely had a positive experience with Amgreen. I bought a Tesla 7 months ago and so far the cost of charging the car and the utility bills has been around 30 dollars. I am happy knowing that going solar is what made this possible. If anyone I know wants to go solar, Ill recommend them to AmGreen

It’s been already six years since AmGreen installed solar on my old home. I moved to a new house two years ago but I remember I had the solar through a loan. The current home owners liked the solar system so much that they were willing to pay the remaining loan balance to own the house. Loan transfer was easier than I had expected and Amgreen was a huge help through that. Hope to do solar on my new house with AmGreen!

I am grateful to my friend for introducing Amgreen to me. I remember my monthly bill used to be over $300, but since AmGreen’s solar installation, my bill fluctuates between 11 and 17 dollars. Also, thank you Mrs. Ko for dispatching your serviceman so quickly when the inverter lost signal. Everything is working great.

Do not do solar unless you plan to live in your house until the solar payments are finished. AmGreen told me that the payments for solar are transferable. WRONG! After selling my house and begin initiating escrow. They put a lien on my house telling me to pay $18,000 immediately. This is not the definition of transferable. Scam! Do not fall for this trick. NOT TRANSFERABLE!

My panels are OFFLINE and have been since MARCH without any warnings or calls from Amgreen to put them back online. I was oblivious until I got a $1,300 bill from SCE who told me that solar companies are to monitor power generation and alert customers if they go offline. They usually have a performance guarantee that will reimburse charges if they panels are offline and they dont resolve the issue resulting in SCE Charges. I am away from my home office and cant dig out my contract to see if such a clause exists, but I will update when I do.I was generally unhappy with the customer service and installation process, but happy with the results when the panels were online.I will update this and my review depending on the results of my contact with AmGreen. In the past they were difficult to get a hold of once they got paid.***Day 2Between my husband and I we have called 3 times before 11 am and he was just told they are in a meeting.I need my panels back on and this issue resolved.***Monday 10/22 technicians came out. A switch had been turned off. AmGreen is quick to blame kids or a gardner. Irrelevant.With AmGreen the customer is to download an app, Solar Edge, and monitor energy generation.No one else monitors output and there is no alarms or alerts by any entity to notify the consumer that panels are offline. That is a huge risk that other solar companies assume in order to protect customers. My friend went with a company and when his panels were offline phone calls and emails were made, a crew was sent out 3 days later and they received an reimbursement for the costs of being on the grid for those days.$33k and nothing protects us from going offline.1) I never received a service contract2) never in 2 years has AmGreen called to check in, schedule an inspection and cleaning of my panels (something the technician asked about.)3) no follow up to make sure we got the email instructions to down load the app to monitor our power generationOnce we were up and running we have been forgotten.Solar is a wise investment. I should have done more research (we interviewed 3 other companies) and never chosen AmGreen. We have saved at least $2k in the 18 months my panels were on, but we just spent $1,300 in a usage cost for the 7 months my panels were off. Thankfully SCE has scheduled monthly paymbents over the next 6 months to pay off.

BEWARE DO NOT DEAL WITH AMGREEN SOLUTIONS.They said my electric bill would be $90 monthly.My electric related bills are over $500 now w/ their solar system plus I have to pay for the $26k solar system I financed for the next 10 yrs.Run from these people. Youll thank me later....The fact that all of their positive reviews are obviously employees is just another example of their deceptive practices.Bonus points the AMGREEN owner made threats to my 65 yr old mother-in-law. Upon seeing the factual review of my experience with AMGREEN the owner of the company called my mother-in-law and said You dont want to mess with me because I go to the end. If thats not a threat to my 65 yr old mother-in-law Im not sure what qualifies.Below management response is another example of how they say one thing and do another. First the owner of the company said they would cover the difference in my bills between what was promised and what the actual is. Then it turned into 50% the difference, then it became 25% the difference starting one year later. One year later it became in a couple more months. Im through wasting time and energy chasing these people. This company will not follow through on their word and is the very definition of a scam.

They gave me estimate $400 monthly payment to DWP without any scientific data but my electricity bills only came out to $120 per month.It took them over 6 months to turn on Solar system. It was denied by DWP inspector three times.They disappeared and didnt pick up the phone when I try to discuss about this issue.I am thinking of taking legal action toward them because there is no way to contact them.Dont use this company. It is over priced, bad customer service and unprofessional.
