They have the best bakery section. The cakes are amazing. The bagels are very large, fluffy and delicious. Their fruit trays are made fresh daily and delicious. The staff is super nice and friendly. Don’t forget to try the habanero grilled chicken in the deli section. Real tasty.

Vons is cool. Much like Ralphs theyve got a really good selection. Almost too much of a selection to tell you the truth. Like I said about Ralphs if I go in there for cereal I dont want to have to choose between 50 different brands. I can see how that could appeal to some people definitely not me. Im a simple person with simple tastes

This Vons grocery store has extremely nice and helpful people working there.. It has a great meat and seafood department and as always really good prices and a wide selection when it comes to the meat and beef steaks and roasts in particular. It is a rather small Vons store with a there for somewhat more limited over all product availability compared to other bigger locations, but it is very convenient and well managed with the especially courteous employees which does make up for the smaller size of the store.I personally like this location a lot.Oh and I almost forgot it has a big and great liquor and/or alcohol section as well as a larger than usual middle eastern and Kosher sections.

I called in before going there to confirm they had the item I was looking for. They said they did. I went and turns out they had the wrong item. Only reason Im giving two stars is because the lady I spoke to was initially, courteous and agreed to place the items on hold for me. Although they did turn out to be the wrong items and no resolution was offered. Such a waste of time for me.

Years back I only went to this Vons since it was on my way home, but it was not the best experience.Since Ralphs closed on Pico and Beverwil, I needed to find a new market. The traffic going east on Pico is rough, but the Vons is not the same as I remembered. When you enter the store on the right, the first thing you encounter is a whole wall of fresh bakery items, and I mean fresh! The store is clean and the prices are competitive.They even modernized the checkout by installing the Check out yourself machines.

My veteran husband and I are staying in a family shelter ad Im pregnant we live 6 blocks away so we walk. Im very pleased with the store and love shopping here. Will be there today!!

This grocery store is one of my favorites because it is not only close to our home, but it also serves Asian food and groceries! I was having trouble deciding when and where to buy Asian goods in the metropolis. This grocery store, on the other hand, has a huge selection of Asian foods.

HORRIBLE experience here with the Assistant GM, Priscilla. I was discriminated against by her, and was publicly humiliated against her inside the store because of a mental illness, which has now ended up leading to a defamation of my character. I will be contacting corporate about this store and the General Manager who obviously doesnt know how to train their employees in proper customer service.

Very clean, but often extremely crowded and the prices are pretty high

Started shopping there about a year ago and liked the store. However they discontinued so many items I used to buy. Also lots of empty spaces recently. During pandemic was stocked well. Frustrated!

All I wanted is right here. Im amazed that this grocery store has the best and freshest items Ive ever wanted. Theyve got it all, and Im glad that their team is super supportive and welcoming. Maybe sort of odd to review a grocery store but after a few months living in the area I find this is the one that I keep coming back to. Its just well stocked and layed out, easy to navigate and find what I want and they do actually have a real butcher here. Also make pretty good sushi for a grocery store. Parking is easy too. 4 stars, would be 5 if they had a pharmacy or at least a better drugstore type section.

Nice store by my god are the prices high! Milk was on sale for $4/gallon! I only go here if I have no other choice and must run in and out.Edit: I saw mold over the frozen section. Its been there a while.

The produce is great and they have a fair amount of holiday treats available with each holiday. Im here in September and they are stocked up for Halloween.

I like red snappers and fish but I like to scale them myself.

I live within walking distance so this tends to be my regular grocery store. A self check-out would be great for those busier times but, otherwise, the staff is typically friendly and they have just about everything you might need. Love the bakery cookies!

Clean great customer service very polite staff

I have a love hate relationship with this Vons. Actually, I treat it almost like a misbehaved child that I love anyways. Its close by my home and convenient, but on several occasions I have bought items that were just about to expire, like the next day. Thus, I have just learned to accept it and pay close attention when picking.Staff are friendly, but operations are inefficiently managed. Its the first time I have noticed a grocery store not well run (usually its not something I notice).There is no such thing as quickly purchasing something here and even the express checkout takes time.

The prepared foods, juices, the service, and the layout selection of dry goods from this Grocery shop were all amazing! We were impressed with the cheeses, meats, and the anti-pasta selection was great, although we did end up spending more than we expected on this. Overall a really impressive place to shop for your grocery needs!

It is a Vons. A Supermarket like most other supermarkets. Cashiers have always been friendly. Generally good selection. Plenty of parking and easy access to public transit.Only downsides are locked liquor cases - difficult if you want to browse and slows down check out.parking lot has always had a petty crime problem. Lock your car, dont leave valuables in plain sight

5 stars for CASHIER DEBORAH, she was very kind and explained a few things to me about items I was purchasing in the store. This is very rare to find this type of customer service where someone actually has a conversation with you. Deborah is definitely a 5 Star employee. Grateful that I found a real HUMAN being.

Prices and selection at this location are pretty standard, and produce quality is generally pretty good. This isnt a farmers market, but doesnt need to be. The staff is always pleasant and professional. And the store itself is generally well kept and well stocked. The only consistent issue that Ive experienced is checkout time, which is predictably awful. Im usually in the store in the early evening on weekdays where the lines can be 5 or more customers long. As long as I plan for this, however, the shopping experience is quite positive, and this isnt a deal breaker by any means.

This Vons usually has what you need, at a reasonable price. The refrigerated beverages section could be bigger with more options, but the produce section makes up for that. Checkout lines are not that long usually, but with COVID they keep changing how you stand in line. Everyone here is very nice.

It takes forever to checkout here, good luck trying to grab one item and pay within 20 min. It doesnt seem to matter if you get there before 7 am Sunday morning, youll be there for a half hour.

Perhaps they could hire more associates to run checkout. There was only 3 lanes open around 5 and the lines were (no exaggeration) at least 20 people, forming a line that reached to the bakery area. Kinda crazy

We were looking nearby in the neighborhood for a place to eat, so we decided on the deli, inside. I ordered 2 different salads and my associate ordered some fried chicken tenders. We both enjoyed our food There were no tables on the property at which to sit, so we are in the car, in the parking lot.

What a relief from Ralphs.. this hidden gem is right on Fairfax and Pico.. with Quality food that rivals Sprouts, short lines and great staff.. they pay attention to details.. and I like my food to be cared for..

Every since Rudy retired at the Vons on Pico the service is lousy the laundry alone management seems not to care I only go there and emergencies I live a block away I prefer to go to Ralph about a mile further down because you dont have to wait and the service is awful at that store need better management need Rooney back Ive been living over here for 26 years and Ive never seen guns the way it is now
