Superior market is the best market in town that is located on LaBrea. Their protocols vegetables fruit everything or perfect. One thing that I really love. They always have an employee cleaning the basket before the customer touched it! I love this market and I recommend that everybody should kill them support. Always cleaning up and making sure that the customers or satisfied. Great job superior groceries

First time there. My cashier was KURIA. The nicest, most polite and courteous cashier Ive EVER had the pleasure of meeting. We briefly spoke about the glitter polish we each had on and then she accommodated the card machine so I wouldnt hurt my hand by hitting the plexiglass partition. Such a lovely, NICE lady. Best EVER by far and very efficient.Will definitely return again and stand in HER line...no matter if its long or not....which it wasnt.Bless her heart! ♥️

I went 2 Superior Market, because I was making tacos 🌮& I wanted fresh Mexican Rice & refried beans & I didnt want 2 make them & Iknow the beans & rice are really good!! I also picked out fresh sweet bread 4 dessert!!! We were so happy!!!

Store is clean, and well lit. Aisles are wide. Easy to view products. Staff is helpful and professional. Im usually in the store 20-25 mins. Cashiers are especially nice.

This is my favorite Superior market. They cater to colored folks. I can usually find everything that I need in here.This market is in my Moms neighborhood Obama Blvd and La Brea. I have one near where I live in Lynwood but, they dont carry a lot of the things I like. So, most of the time I end up going to another store afterwards.

It was a great grocery store ever! The best selections of foods, fruits, vegetables, and meats. The staffs were very entertaining, pleasant, and will guide you well. Also, I liked this grocery store a lot because they have many items to buy and fun to walk around. The place was large and tidy. I would visit here again and again!

The store is clean and well stocked with the items that Superior sells (based in the demographics...I guess??) in that area. The line was kinda long but moved adequately. I was able to do my banking at the in-store Wells Fargo ATM even though the in-store branch was closed due to CDC Covid saftey guidelines. It is not your upscale experience or anything like that but u can get all your basics at mostly reasonable prices plus liquor. There is plenty of parking and easily accessible. The store clerk was very pleasant.

Superior market has a wonderful bakery it is so delicious, and not extremely sweet 😋 And their Deli, and meat department areVery good.

This Place is Absolutely Buzzing with People and Noise and food. We went there on our last day in the USA. We went to eat BBQ. Not disappointed. its out side the market so easier to sit. and the food was sensational. Inside there is all kinds of food. very Interesting place and loved coming here

The store was clean, the employees were friendly and assisted me with no hesitation. The fruits and vegetables were fresh and had many options to choose from. The deli market didnt have much prepared food but I was able to get a whole rotisserie chicken. The shelves were neatly stocked, and I got everything on my shopping list.

Tried chicken fried steak and eggs with hasbrowns and eggs, Wife had menudo.This place has the absolute best Menudo Ive eaten.Seasons perfectly, only added a squeeze of lime and thats it. Its definitely worth ordering the large bowl.I typically judge any diner style restaurant for there chicken fried steak, this actually batters there steak and properly prepared it fresh. Only thing would make it better is if there were two steaks or a larger portion,Hash browns were nice and crispy cooked to order as well.The most amazing thing is theres a dennys in the same parking lot, Im not sure how dennys managed to stay in business with this place open.

I only go when there salmon or shrimp are on sale. Not a very good selection in fresh fish.Prices just ok. But I do love there bakery department.

Oh my God Superior is one of my favorite store the one on Obama Road the meat man Ricky keeps the meat fresh clean looking and really never running out of anything if it does is not on his shift which I dont know what his ship is cuz hes always there working the staff there always helpful in the fruit Department is always helpful and clean fruit and vegetables the checkout stands thank you Superior on La Brea and Obama Road

I mainly come here to buy water. Best deal I have ever found. The meats are always great and in stock. They carry more options meat wise than other stores year round.

Its just an okay market. Nothing spectacular. Has a strong Latino influence.

Best tortilla chips. I havent seen them that fresh and crispy anywhere else. Not sure if they are made there. Great selection of fruits and veggies.

It was quick and easy to grab a few itews and leave. My mom order ceviche, she loved it. She ordered fresh Redfish. I cooked it for dinner. We enjoyed the fish. I havent tried the fruit but I will update soon. The fruit wasnt good. The lime and over sized Avocado was good.

Superior Grocers is just that!They have the most extensive meat, poultry and fish selection ever! Huge beautiful Beef Ribs, Lamb Shanks etc. which are frequently difficult to find.Also they have a wonderful selection of fruit and vegetables and many exciting ethnic ingredients!A budding chefs mecca!

Most of the food and items and prices are great however Most of the staff are terrible that’s why I choose one star especially the ones work in the cheese and meat area I came at 7:00pm Sunday January 3 the black lady who works there was so rude and mad since I came there and had a bad attitude the Hispanic old man who works there was alright wasn’t great but wasn’t bad which is good with me I honestly feel bad for the owner because he made a great successful business but hired the wrong people and that’s bad for the business because he will lose so many customers with rude staff. Thank you!

I have got to get stuck in this grocery store. Its the only place in California that I dont realize that Im not Mexican. Its like all in the family.

Has everything you need even though some things can be a little over priced.

Today I got the worst tres leches cake ever. Super dry and super bland. I’m latina, i’ve had tons of tres leches cakes, I absolutely know what it should look and taste like. The pan that it was on wasn’t even wet, it was the worst. I’ve purchased a tres leches cake from here a couple years back. Perhaps a new baker now, not sure, but, we are so disappointed. It was a birthday cake, some didn’t even want any. Waste of money and I let the birthday person down with this one as it was their request to have this kind of cake. I don’t see a way to post photos here, but, i will figure it out to show proof.
