Finally! So happy Tare is open! Bulk bins for all tea, spice, nuts, seeds, beans, grains & dried fruit needs! Oils, vinegars, detergents & nut butter grinder too. Plans for non-dairy milks and matcha lattés on tap. Can’t bring own containers right now but they offer paper bags. Beautiful space!

A little bit pricey than other grocery shops but understandable for the good quality of products and comfy feeling while shopping around. Their fresh produce section is the best. The whole shop always looks nice, well-arranged, and clean. Thank you very much. Highly recommended!

A lovely shop on a mission to help you reduce single-use waste and eat healthy delicious food. We pick up our CSA box here, and the team is always super friendly and helpful. Great selection of dry goods, spices, tea, oils, eggs, vegan dairy/meat alternatives—they even have some natural home products (soaps, cleansers, lotions, etc) as well as reusable flatware, food and beverage containers.

You can bring your own clean glass containers. They have a wide variety of goods. I personally think the liquid shampoo is better than the bar. Aside from that, I think this is a great idea.

Such a cool store. Love the fact that you can bring in your own containers! Staff was super helpful, especially with their covid safety precautions. The have a nice variety of products, even if the prices are a bit higher than I like, theyre great quality and youre shopping locally. 😎

Called to see if they had a specific product, they said yes. Drove 30 minutes to find out it sold out. They didnt even bother to check when I called. What a shame.

Coffee beans and dry spices were great, overall a pretty impressive selection. As others have noted, its a bit pricy. But I think between Super-El and Super-A if you want something cheap thats pretty close by.

They charge you a 10% tip without asking you nor informing you. Great products, don’t like how they don’t inform you before hand. BE AWARE AND CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!

I love that there are so many options from spices, pasta and bath and body.Wish you guys could open a store in south Sydney AUS.So much better than the source bulk foods they only have limited items each visit.

Tare is the only place around that carried sprouting seeds! I hate using Amazon so buying a small amount in eco-packaging here was great. I ordered online and then forgot to pick them, but they called me with a nice reminder and were super friendly!!

Really beautiful store with so many wonderful options--the prices seemed pretty reasonable too (I only bought a couple things and they were cheaper than I thought they would be). The snacks I ended up getting were so delicious! I will definitely be going back when I need new spices, but there were a bunch of items I really wanted to try. You should definitely stop by--great addition to York!

Sustainable grocery store with bulk goods for purchase by weight. Items to purchase include grains, beans, herbs, sugars and flours, oils and vinegars, tea, coffee, pasta, dried fruits and nuts..basically everything you might ever want in bulk! To top it off they will also have nut milks on tap! They also have a full section of household cleaners and body washes, shampoos etc. As you can see I’m very excited to have them located in my neighborhood

I like the fact that its organic and plastic free; however I have 2 main concerns first its expensive compared to organic markets nearby, second I saw a man who sneezed and used the same hand to get the rice gross.

Dig the whole concept and got what I was looking for.
