Great market, fresh produce, lots of variety of Latin and Hispanic, and Caribbean products which up to now has been hard to find in other Los Angeles markets.The employees are very courteous and helpful, the prices are reasonable and although I haven’t tried their meats, yet, the meats look fresh and of good quality.It’s always a bit crowded but that’s to be expected when you have good quality products.

Costumer service wasn’t that great. I asked to to be help and one of the workers gave me attitude for no reason. I asked him if I needed to pay the beef at the beef area or at the front cashier. He seemed very bothered when asked that question. So sad because the product was amazing.

A fantastic place to shop for both dry and wet goods! When I ran out of supplies, I went to this store. This is where I had everything I wanted. It just took me 20 minutes to complete and pay for all of my transactions.

High prices. One pound of meat is no lower than six dollars per pound. If you are going to buy meat good luck. There is no order or number given. Who is the loudest will be next Very disorganized.

I have been coming g to this market for over 30 years and I have never been soo mis-treated and price gouged. I was trying to buy some meat and poultry. I asked for some spare ribs to cook for my family. The price for a thick cut was for $8.59 a pound. I ask the clerk if he could cut them to a thin slice. Two pounds would have been $21.47. When I went to the register,I was charged $24.97. That was a difference of $3.50. I asked the clerk why was I charged a different price The clerk said thats is the price for that particular meat. I looked at the label and it had a different price and a different meat name. I told the clerk and said that is the wrong label and price for what I asked for. The cleck went to confirm how much the meat cost. The clerk came back and said that because I asked for the meat to be cut into slices,it was considered another meat product. The clerk said if I wanted to talk to the Manager. Unfortunately I had my kids to pickup up and the clerk said that the price cannot be changed. I had commented that this was not good service and had to pay the higher price for my meat. The cleck packed my groceries and gave me to me. Just as the clerk was passing me my groceries my papaya that I purchased fell out of the bag The cleck saw what happened,looked at me and walked away. I had to pick up my papaya and go pick up my kids. Wow! This store use to have friendly and helpful workers. I guess not. I will be looking for another store to shop. I will tell all my friends including my family what happened to me that day. It is a shame! I use to come with my parents to this store. Lots of memories. Guess my kids will not be coming to this store either.

It is a good place where you can get fresh fruits and vegetables, they have a lot of products from Central American countries, the only complain is the meat department staff, you ask them for something and they give you more than you asked, just to increase the amount you have to pay, thats really annoying, shouldnt do that.

Their Poultry Meat its its extremely good. Best seasoning Ive tried. Trust me whether you grilled or Skillet. The meat its extremely nice and tender. Great Poultry. As far as cashier, you always are gonna encounter good and bad ones...

I love Villalobos Market mostly for their competitive prices on their Torani Flavored Syrup. They seriously have every imaginable flavor (within reason) and even sell the accompanying Ghibelline mocha syrups as well. Parking is fine, the lot is small but there arent any shortage of spots. I cant say how fresh the produce is... I mainly stick to dry goods or syrups here.

The #1 place for steaks. But I found a #2 place called mid town market and the steak seasoning is exactly the same. For like a dollar less which is just as good now that I live in k town.but villalobos is simply the place to go for the 4th of July steaks

I am Jamaican and I shop there all the time. I like their meat department . I wish they had lima beans. I was looking for it and could not find it. I also wish they had Mexican Garlic since I do not like to cook using any kind of Chinese Product since I care about what I put in my body.

I have been going to this Carnicería since I remember. I have tried other Carnicerías but none of them get close to the flavor this Carnicería put in the meat. This grocery store might be small and crowded but they have always been neat, clean, and they always keep that A. Their employees make you feel like family and satisfied. They always recieve the clients with a smile and they always tend to satisfy the clients. If you want the meat in a certain way you just have to ask the employees from the carnicería and they will do it for you. There meat is always fresh and delicious but there vegetables and fruits are fresh as well. No other Grocery store has that special touch that this small Grocery store has. I really recommend the Carne Asada and the Chicken.
