This is a fantastic place! The store produces the best price than the other store in town. They also had food bars that offer a chicken meal, soups, sliders, and fries and they were very tasty! They also had some hard to find items here, as well. Every weekend, I was here doing some groceries for the family.

Bohemian down to earth vibe and friendly staff. Overall the perfect place for a quick shopping trip when you have old friends in town for cocktails and curry chicken on the fly. Like a mini gelsons.

The owner refuses to wear a mask in his own store and does not stand behind any sort of glass, in fact hes often hovering over the produce section without a mask and talking to others. Pretty pathetic power trip. Is that a middle eastern thing?

Last time I went, I showed up about 5 minutes before close without realizing and was hesitating at the door, not wanting to be rude and delay the employees. This Safeway is so much better now that they have remodeled it. I used to stay away from this location at all costs, but now I go here to pick up the occasional item. Its on my way home on the 5 Fulton, so its easy to hop off the bus and then hop back on when Im too lazy to drive to the one on La Playa. But if I have to get a lot of items, I normally drive to the other location since its closer to my house.

This place is a solid neighborhood market. Its very convenient to me so I go here when I just need a few items and dont want to go all the way to Whole Foods. Its definitely not cheap but it could be worse and everything is pretty high quality.
