Ice cream was so creamy and delicious. The cookies were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I had Brookie ( half brownie half chocolate chip cookie) and birthday cake cookie with cookies and cream ice cream in the middle.

They have two solid sorbet flavors that are non-dairy and vegan if youre feeling a bit alternative in your milk experience (like myself). Tons of good outdoor seating, services and vibes all around.

This place has something very special. If you spend time going to Milk, you need to try to order the blue velvet cake. It is made with blueberries, looks blue and is very unique and delicious. Their ice cream is also absolutely from another world. Definitely try out their many flavors and enjoy the wide selection of different flavors. Keep an eye out on their hours of operations as they are not a round the clock operation.

Came here one Thursday afternoon with my boyfriend. Wasn’t busy at all, the staff was very helpful. I ordered the create your own sandwich with white chocolate macadamia nut cookie and the center was red velvet ice cream. My boyfriend ordered the strawberry short cake milkshake.My ice sandwich was delicious. The cookie was so soft and the cookie was a beautiful golden color. The red velvet ice cream was very rich and the texture looked like it had actual cake pieces in the ice creamThe shake was also magnificent. The shake options are very different than other places. The shake was very thick and tasty. The top had cake crumbs sprinkled along with real strawberries and whipped cream. Overall a fantastic choice

I love their ice cream macaron sandwiches. I always have to grab a fruity pebbles one. This time I also got their strawberry shortcake ice cream bar and man, was it amazing. I wish they had these in NY. I want another one already.

Absolutely delicious coconut sundae! I would even say its the best coconut ice cream Ive ever had. The chocolate cookies were decadent and delicious. We also ordered a Thai tea, which was very refreshing and flavorful. Only problem is that there isnt much room to sit inside, but its still a great dessert place.

Ive driven past this place a million times and finally decided to give it a try. We had a sundae and coffee toffee shake. Both were pretty good. They dont have a large variety of ice cream flavors but what they do have is pretty good. If youre in the area and looking for ice cream or a shake its worth a try. Four stars because no butter pecan :(

Cheap? No. Worth it? Yes. I was not impressed with their prices, but I was with their quality and service. The cashier was polite, and had a dork like personality. I had two scoops of their chocolate ice cream. Unfortunately I was not really in the mood for any baked goods so I cannot vouch for those. But the ice cream was extremely thick and rich, and as odd as it is, filling. Their tables and floors were clean along with the rest of the store. I will likely be returning to Milk to try some other products in the not so distant future. For those of you interested in getting scoops of ice cream I highly recommend only getting one, two if youre brave, and three if you plan on going home and taking a really long nap afterwards.

I got two birthday cakes from this place the strawberry cake and their famous birthday cake. I would definitely recommend their famously birthday cake over strawberry cake. Its on the pricey side but yum. It is very good for small sugar rush. Thank god they have a parking spot so it makes your experience easier. The staff are friendly and now during covid they have contactless payment and everything.

Separate from the Milk Bar and Momofuku umbrella. Loved the ice cream sandwiches and shakes here. Cool thing is you get to customize and make your own sandwiches as well. I decided to make a vanilla with fruit pebble concoction. They have house made ice cream, speciality sodas, and sorbets as well. If your in the mood for some sweets this is the spot!

Tried the LA hit Milk as for dessert tonight and the family really enjoyed it!! Their multitude of flavors and options were a bit overwhelming. Luckily there was a local next to us who recommended the red or blue velvet macaroon (and yes I said blue) and the bars. Boy did he not disappoint. Feeling adventurous my family tried the red velvet macaroon, coffee toffee ice cream, strawberry shortcake milkshake and the milkway malt. Needless to say they were as appetizing as they sound!! Our only complaint was that we were too full from dinner to finish. Hope you enjoy!

Impressive array of iced and baked treats, with a little window seating. Many sorbets on offer which are fat free, gluten free and vegan. They also make espresso drinks.

Great place for a late nights snack. I got a Sunday and shared it with two others because of how much they give. It was great! Only downside is I wish the pace was bigger, as there was no seating available.

Definetly worth the try if you have the day off for a night out.I ordered the gingerbread cookie cupcake.Texture of the cake was very good not too moist or too dry and the frosting was delightful because it wasnt too overwhelming.I also ordered the macaroon cookies and cream desert and the ice cream was great!Very nice creamy texture,with nice even compliments of oreo cookie throughout.As for the macaroon it was VERY SWEET and some of it was too much for me honestly some of its hardened,crumbly texture did not compliment the ice cream very well so i must admit i discarded some of it during the process of my enjoyment. Reasonable when it came to pricing because of the all natural quality!

Milk is a traditional American-style ice cream shop serving up a variety of delicious treats. What else could be more classic than a Banana Split? I opted for scoops of Banana Dulche de Leche, Vanilla Bean, and Coconut. Not cheap at $9 USD, but it was very delicious and big enough to share... but you know, this one was all for me.

Found the deserts to be delicious. Staff helpful and courteous.

I ordered a pink velvet ice cream sandwich, which is strawberry ice cream between a strawberry macaroon with sprinkles on top. It was soooooo delightful. At first look things seem a bit expensive for ice cream. When you taste what you paid, more than likely youll end up leaving a tip. The milk shop absolutely rocks.

I was craving milkshakes so bad when I found this place Milk online. They have a few locations. The one tdd hat we ended up at was absolutely amazing. In an ice cream fanatic. I love all things ice cream for the most part,but on the downside of loving it all is hating g poorly made thi gs with ice cream. Milk is far from poorly made or anywhere on the nasty return list of ice cream fans. They have an amazing list of all yummy ice cream items but I ordered a banana tres leche milkshake along with a fruity people macaroon ice cream sandwich my boyfriend ordered a thai tea and vanilla milkshake with an oreo cookies and cream macaroon sandwhich. All four of these items were worth every cent. Now it was $36 dollars for the 4 items but as I said before well worth it along with a for sure visit back from us. So if your in town near the milk locations I highly recommend that you make it a stop on your evening plans. I know youll enjoy it as much as we definitely do. Lick away!!!! Haha.

Small selection of flavors; you find the basic cookies and cream but also have the option to eat banana dulce de leche. I️ got the Thai Tea ice cream and it was tasty but not the most exciting flavor. I️ would consider coming here again to maybe try one of the novelty items like their macaroon ice cream sandwiches.

They successfully merged macarons with ice cream in the earl grey macaron ice cream sandwich. Dont be deceived by the fridge full of macaron sandwiches. They are still full of flavor and freshness. I havent had anything else here but my experience met the hype.

Simple & Decadent!

I saw this place featured on an Instagram account I follow and was so excited to try it out when I was in LA. It ended up being pretty disappointing. We got the blue velvet cake which was really dry and some funfetti cookies that were crumbly and not very soft. The interior seemed run-down and kind of dirty. I really wanted to like it, and maybe I just went on an off-day. I also didnt try the ice cream so I cant speak to that.

I like it here, great food & service. The staff was very sociable and kind. This place has a good feel to it.

This. Place. Is. Amazing. I have been to Milk twice now and I am already ready to go back again. The first time I visited Milk, there was a long line of customers out the door - do not let this deter you! It is well worth the wait, I promise. On my second visit, I only waited about 5 minutes, which was just long enough to decide which 4 pastries I would limit myself to trying that day.

I was fortunate enough to come at a time when there was no line at all, which was great. The staff is very friendly and overall the place is nice and clean. The hardest part of this experience was choosing what to order! I eventually decided to step out of my usual ice cream comfort zone of chocolate and vanilla and got the rose/green tea macaron ice cream sandwich. The flavors in this sandwich can’t be overestimated, each and every bite had a perfect balance of rose and green tea, and even the macarons were flavored! I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking to try something different.

Excellent, Creamy, Luscious, Everything I Craved on this Hot Fall Day . I n other words Freaking Yum. Might be a bit pricey for families at $11.00 for a shake but scoops are $450 and doubles are $6.50 definitely worth the splurge

Came here Sunday evening and there was a line out the door, it didnt move that fast which is surprising because most things are premade. Got a couple things to try but honestly wasnt that impressed. Strawberry shortcake was super soft for an ice cream bar. Blue velvet was teeth numbing sweet. The macaron ice cream sandwich had a weird flavor. Overall, not impressed at all.

Local tradition with fun hats for kids, fresh ice cream counter, and diner food. Tours are offered and birthday parties are their thing too! Not cheap or healthy but its been in Oakland for as long as anyone can remember. Take the family but know that if its a weekend, it gets crowded and you might have a long wait!

Very good chocolate milk shake and the ooey gooey chocolate cookies

Their ice cream macaroon sandwiches are really good but just a bit too sweet. I like the fruity pebbles and the fruit loops one. However, paying $8+ for a small sandwich seems like a little too much for me and finding parking can sometimes be a struggle. Wouldnt come here often.

Plenty of fruit sorbets, as well as custom popsicles complement the unique selection of ice cream. We had the mint oreo (excellent!), Superman (give it a try), and Tequila Chocolate Chip (I already want more). The service was brisk and prices very reasonable. Already went back Sunday for a second round... and ended up taking a pint home for only $2 (they were offering a special for National Ice Cream Day)! They also have a full juice bar, which were looking to try on a future visit.
