Great ice cream including vegan flavors. A lot of unique flavors, tarot being a big stand out. The folks who work there are super positive. A bit more expensive than usual ice cream, but the unique flavors and larger serving size definitely makes up for it. Cannot recommend enough. (also the bamboo cups get points for being environmentally friendly, keep it up!)

MY FAV ICE CREAM TOWER EVER!! EXTREMELY LOVE EVERY FLAVOR! Especially recommend their sorbet vegan lines, especially raspberry, lime and strawberry. Banana and chocolate are super super rich. The shop is very clean and the lady is very nice too. I WILL BE BACK!!

Really creamy high-quality tasting ice cream in DTLA on Spring and 7th. Tiny shop and there arent too many flavors but they give samples and theres a few vegan flavors though I didnt try those . The Banana Sundae flavor tastes really homemade and charming. The Salted Caramel is delicious . Also the young woman with glasses behind the counter is really nice and helpful so 5 stars for her as well as the ice cream !

Neat little ice cream shop. Selection was good, about 7 bucks for a small 2 scooper and goes up from there. Staff was helpful with the samples and service. Stays open a bit late.

I cannot fathom why this place has the rating that it does. The ice cream that I had delivered to me was terrible. Maybe something happened in the delivery process to make it worse, but it still seemed like the base ingredients were very inadequate. My wife and I both got the brownie sundae, which seemed safe enough. The brownie, first of all, was atrocious. Im fairly certain it was just one of those circular, mass produced brownies you can find in literally any supermarket. Theyre not good, so why would you put them in your sundae? So that was a real bad start. Im also not sure why the Oreo ice cream is even called that. There was nothing reminiscent of an Oreo within that flavor. It was fine, I guess? But not what I was hoping for. And lastly, the Chocolate that I got (had some other name, Chocolate something), was way too watery. It barely tasted of Chocolate at all and was not an enjoyable eating experience. Maybe I got a bad batch because I ordered right at the end of the night, I dunno. But based on that sundae, I would never eat here again.

Went to this ice cream parlor and was impressed with James stellar service and the delicious ice cream. I got the cold brew latte and oreo scoop and it was fabulous. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but its handcrafted ice cream and they dont skimp out on the portions, so its totally worth it. So good!

Had a great experience and some of the best ice cream Ive ever had. The owners were awesome as well. Wanna see them succeed so they can cater at my wedding and funeral. #TeamJasonandJames

So we debated quite a bit, which place to go for dessert in this area. Finally leaned towards Paradis based on the reviews, and I’m so glad we did! We were visiting from Austin, TX and we were walking there from our hotel.Google put us on 8th Street, saying that the place was right there, but I guess if I had been paying more attention I would’ve figured out that I was not on the street that the address said. I called them to verify that we were in the right area, and the gentleman who helped me was extremely helpful and patient with me, even though I incorrectly told him what street I was on. 🤦‍♂️When we got there, everybody was super friendly and helpful. I can’t overstate this enough, the energy coming from this group was amazing. I know it seems like a weird thing to say about an ice cream shop, but trust me on this. I legitimately can’t remember a time that I’ve had service that was this friendly! The kids decided on getting two flavors each, my daughter and I both took their recommendations, and all three of us were blown away by how delicious this ice cream was!I had their super chocolatey one, I think it was Chocolate San Domingo, or something to that effect, as well as the Banana Sundae, my daughter got the raspberry peach mixed with strawberry, and she kept raving about how good hers was, and my son got the Oreo, along with the caramel brownie something or other.. (!?) We also got a couple brownie bites to top it off, and everything was just awesome! We found ourselves wondering if the brownies were made in-house or not.Overall, like other reviewers said, would definitely recommend, especially if you’re torn between that and a few other places in the area. I can’t speak for all the other places, but I CAN tell you with confidence that you can’t go wrong with Paradis!

That Taro Root ice cream is bomb! 🍦🍨 So different!!! I also got a traditional treat of warm chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream. Also amazing. The energy of the staff is so welcoming. I will definitely be back next time Im in LA and definitely recommend you to try this place out.

A delightful place to visit this summer! The cone is fresh made everyday, no wonder is so crunchy and delicious. Don’t even mention the gelato, most of the flavors are vegan and gluten free. The “sorbet” is a must!

We are a family of 4 came from Chicago came in to los Angeles and wanted to eat some good ice cream but we found this place around the corner from where we are staying. Once we arrived the place was almost closed but the guy was super nice, he took out all the ice cream again found us parking and have us tried all the flavors. In my opinion this is the best ice cream please I have been to in the past 10 years. I recommend this place to any one who visits Los Angeles or stay there.

This ice cream spot has some of the best tasting ice cream in Downtown LA! I would absolutely recommend it over other near by ice cream places. 1000% that we will be returning. I had the sea salt caramel ice cream on a waffle cone that was delicious.

Literally the best earl grey ice cream I’ve ever had. It was creamy and had a florally/herby hint that I’ve never tasted in other earl grey ice creams before. The taro was also superb. I highly recommend this place .

Ive eaten at 5 ice cream places in CA the past 2 weeks, and this was my least favorite and the most expensive. The flavor wasnt anything special, and the texture was too icy/watery.

I loved the friendly service, felt very welcome, plus the flavor variety was exciting and the ice cream was delicious indeed! Will be coming back to Paradis again when Im in the area :)

We just discovered this cute little ice cream place and we will be going back! The owners are young, excited, personable, and so enthusiastic about their shop. They let us try so many flavors, and they are always changing the menu with new, fun flavors. They even asked our names and we found out we were alumni of the same school! The ice cream is also delicious, and I’m excited to come back and try more. A must try! Not a lot of places where the product is amazing, the people are amazing, and they just happen to also fellow alumni ;)

Honestly me and the group I was in werent gonna try it because we were so full already but after being flagged down we decided to go in... we were not let down, everything in here was so good! Nothing made us feel even more full. Everything was so light on sweet. I got the peach & mango and forest(mixed berty) berry they were their vegan options but honestly didnt taste any different. Would definitely go back for the ice cream and AMAZING customer service!
