I used these people because I rented a POD and there were recommended movers for packing a POD. I had two movers, one definitely seemed like a pro and the other not so much. The pictures below are how some of my items were wrapped. I had some broken furniture pieces, nothing significant but that’s not the point. I’m now using a real professional moving company and they just shook their heads on how my POD was loaded.My main reason for the review though is that the unprofessional guy threw my couch cushions on the ground outside more than once. And after packing my stuff I wrapped things way better and faster even then him. Of course they charge by the hour and it took forever for my stuff to get finished. Which it wasn’t so I had to hire a different moving company.

We were introduced to them as a part of the moving staffers network. After experiencing the professionalism and care their team provides, they are the only options for us. Recently, we booked the full service option and it was life changing, truly a 5 star experience. Rigos provided a fully stocked 26’ truck and 3 outstanding moving professionals, they disassembled and reassembled our furniture, and gently placed all of our belongings in our new townhouse without as much as a blemish to any of the walls.

First of all, I have no issue with the movers themselves. They got right to work and did a great job, although they did arrive outside their quoted time. I do, however, have issue with the management of this company. To book Rigos you must do 2 helpers for a minimum of 2 hours. I suspected my job would take 3 hours, so that is what I quoted because I wanted to provide Rigos with an accurate time so they can plan their schedule accordingly. The move took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was told by one of the movers when I signed a form that I would be charged for the 2 hours, not the 3 I originally quoted. When I received my invoice from Hire a Helper, I saw I had been charged for 3 hours of labor. I called to see if I could be refunded for that third hour. Hire a Helper called Rigos and they said they would not. I called them directly. The lady I spoke to on the phone was not helpful and was quite difficult. She refused to refund me the third hour of labor because she said they had to pay the movers for the full 3 hours (despite the fact they were done with the job in 1 hour and 45 minutes). I asked to speak with her superior, who is the owner, and she said he does not speak with customers. She eventually offered to write me a $50 check, which isnt even the cost of the labor for 1 hour for 2 movers. I said she can write it, but I would still leave an honest review online. She then said they would not send me the check and she hung up on me. So, if you chose to book Rigos for some reason, only say your job is 2 hours, even if you think it will be 5 hours. Otherwise, you will be charged for whatever you quote, no matter how quickly the movers are, and you will not be given any sympathy when you try to get your money back for unused time.

We have twice used their help moving. They were on time. They were knowledgeable and prepared with equipment and supplies. Loaded and unloaded expertly. Worked very hard and expediently.We are about to hire them again to complete our move.

I went from planning to move myself, to trying to find a large van lines movers to local box truck movers to having to get a Pod. Moving is absolute craziness, I hate it. Ive moved enough times in my life that I know the value of good movers who do a great job. I felt like I had a good thing lined up with another moving company and their price seemed too good to be true but they kept telling me thats the price but wouldnt give me anything in writing. I started to get anxious and felt I needed to do something between loading a uhaul by myself and asking friends to help, up to a full moving company. I went to hireahelper started looking at reviews and prices, then went out and investigated on yelp, bbb, and state licensing. I picked Rigos based on the best combination of price, ratings, and they had their license and insurance current.My team of 3 guys showed up on time ready to go with hand trucks and furniture dollies, tape and stretch wrap. I had extra stretch wrap and tape and they used mine which I appreciated and it saved me money and at the end I let them have my remaining stretch wrap rolls. We walked the path from my apartment to the elevators down to the pod and they got right to work organizing doing extra wrapping with my moving blankets and stretch wrap which we didnt think to do which was awesome. They protected a set of dresser drawers from Ikea that wasnt worth a ton of money but they made it look worthy of being cared for. They had to re-organize the pod a couple times to make everything fit the best possible most secure way and this was awesome. When my pod arrived nothing had moved, nothing was broken and even the guy dropping off the pod was impressed. He said hed never seen a pod door open and not a single thing had fallen forward. He had this astonished look on his face and said it was a perfect pack job. One guy wasnt feeling up to posing for a picture to be put on the internet. I cant hold it against him the internet is a crazy place. Im still grateful for his effort and nothing negative about wanting to keep ones privacy.I had a 16 foot pod packed about 85% full and my pickup truck with the essentials needed to live without what was in the pod.

They came to help me unload a pod unit into a U-Haul truck and were able to neatly and quickly move everything over while making sure to leave plenty of room in the truck for my next stop. They were hardworking and professional, I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.l!

I used rigo’s moving and i had a great overall experience. They were pronto to respond and also clear communicators. They confirmed the day before and then later that night they called me to tell me that a truck of theirs was down and they needed to move me to an earlier time. I explained to them that the loading dock and elevators would not be available because i had reserved it for later. They said they would use the stairs if needed. At the end of the day. They showed up on time. The guys were professional. Nice and very fast. I was very impressed with their service. And the elevators worked so it was a typical move. But they handled it all just right.

Rigos moving did an amazing job! I just moved across country and needed a company to help off load my POD. I was first unsure if I they would show up because I never received confirmation email and was thinking of finding another company. However, they did do a phone confirmation which confirmed the appointment. The two movers came to my apartment complex on time, were professional and completed unloading really fast. The two guys who packed my storage container were wonderful! They packed everything in 2 hours and did a great job! I had a great experience with Rigos. They were very straight forward, didn’t charge additional for the number of objects, how many steps/stairs etc. which I found to be so tedious when getting other quotes. They were one of the most affordable, and very professional.My oversized couch would not fit up our new smaller winding staircase, and I thought i would have to buy a new one since there was just no way after trying multiple ways. The 2 movers went above and beyond and were able to bring in my couch over a second story balcony on the fly. So glad I used their service.

I’ve used Rigos twice now and both times were good experiences. They were very accommodating with scheduling and hustled once they arrived. My only complaint is they packed the moving truck SO well, some furniture got scratched/dirty from being on top of each other. Be sure you protect your stuff beforehand, because once these guys get going, they’re a machine!

I hired Rigos through moving staffers to load my 28 foot u-pack trailer and I have never had any experience with any moving company that even comes close to the amazing service I received. Bryan and Diego did my packing and while I was all packing in boxes there were some bigger furniture items I needed help with wrapping securely. I had a three hour time frame and was moving out of a second story apartment and their professionalism and dedication to get it done was a huge ease off my mind. The three men were efficient, friendly, and worked as a very impressive team. It was evident that they are moving experts. Our large complex head board with 2 large mirrors and bed assembly was disassembled and packed with care; all the pieces were organized and labeled...nothing was damaged in transit or in storage in the trailer for 2 months. They sorted, fitted, and packed all of our belongings into the 28 ft Upack trailer. We highly recommend Oscar, Chris, and Bryan from Rigos Moving Company.

I just moved from a second floor 550 square foot apartment building to a first floor apartment in Pasadena. Two people were there on time at 2 PM to start moving. I had pretty much everything disassembled and boxed up but there were a few items that I need help with disassembling and this was no issue for them. They were incredibly courteous and such hustlers. Even with having to constantly go up and down a flight of stairs. the entire move took about 4 1/2 hours. Packing the truck took about twice the time as unpacking so dont sweat it if it seems like it is taking longer on the front end. I have already referred them to a friend and wished I had used them for our office move prior to this move.

If my post was read carefully, speeds w/in 5mph of the limit was maintained on the road and when I said the vehicle sped off at the on-ramp, the vehicle quickly accelerated and weaved around a few vehicles during moderately busy traffic until I could not see it any longer. It is VERY possible they could have maintained speed under 65 mph on the busy freeway therefore I am almost certain you will find that the vehicle was driving within the speed limit. Let me clarify, speeding WAS NOT the problem (or inconvenience as you had put it), harassing me and almost colliding with my vehicle TWICE was the problem...instilling fear and anxiety in me, endangering my life, the life of my two children and others sharing the road was the inconvenience.As acknowledged in my very first sentence in my original post, this should not define the company but the public deserves to know that there are people at the company that truly behaves this way and may open the doors for other people to share similar experiences if it exists. I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome this company was. The two guys they sent were extremely professional and helpful. I was really impressed. My son and I were needing to move my 90 year old mother to Arizona who had lived in her house for 60 years and we literally had no help at all. So we took a chance and hired Rigo’s. I can tell you that it was so well worth the money to pay them to help us load the truck. They picked up the piano like it was weightless. My son and I would still be trying to figure out how to get it down the porch steps. I highly recommend them for loading your moving truck. They hustled and didn’t waste any time. They really packed the truck perfectly!

Movers damaged my items unloading and refused to acknowledge it was their fault, blamed it on me despite me literally watching them treat my belongings without care and break stuff. Wouldnt use them again. For the amount they charge they should be more careful and professional.

I would choose Rigos over and over again for the service we were provided when packing our POD. They came recommended through the PODs website via Hire-a-Helper. It was the best decision we made in regards to hiring help. My husband and I have moved over 14 times. Each time, we would pack and load everything by ourselves. However, we are a little older than when we first started and not as strong as we used to be. We have never hired anyone to help us before, so I was a little worried about the experience we would receive.When the workers first arrived, the first thing I noticed was how young they were. I was expecting big, burly men but instead walking up to our place were 3 young men ranging in ages 18-22. In all honesty, I didn’t think that they would be able to do what we needed them to do. But I was quickly surprised and proved wrong of my misconception that they were not experienced enough.They began working immediately. They worked quickly and efficiently with care for our things and our property. They were hard working and took great care of our furniture and boxes. They wrapped our sofa in plastic wrap to keep it from getting damaged or soiled; tied down our belongings as each section was filled; efficiently packed our POD so that each possible space was used; and made sure that we were able to open the POD door when they were done.I highly recommend this moving company for anyone needing assistance in packing a POD. I could not be more happy or satisfied with the service that was provided.The workers were kind, polite, and professional. Amazing job!

Rigos did everything I needed and wanted. They were on time. They packed items securely with plastic wrap to protect everything from a fragile table to a grandfather clock, which usually requires a special move. They unpacked everything and helped us move items around to put everything where we wanted. They did all this without going over the nominal move time, thus saving us money. The movers arrived right on time and moved all of my belongings without any damage or difficulty at all. The cost was for 2 hours, and if it lasted longer I was to be charged for another full hour. The full move took just over 2 hours, but they did not charge me for the extra time. Highly recommended.

The BEST experience I have ever had moving! Okay, this was the first time I ever used movers, but it was such a breeze. I didnt know what to expect so, after hiring 4 movers for 4 hours, I also invited two of my good friends to help my wife and I and the crew move. I figured I would need all the help I could get as my two bedroom apartment was not only HEAVILY furnished and well lived in, but we also brought all of our stuff from our small storage unit into the apartment so everything could be together for a smoother move.Well, the movers showed up. They were very respectful. They treated me like I was their boss. They moved fast, very fast. They also were very gentle as they went down the stairwell with all of our stuff. In fact, it seemed like they wanted us out of the way...so my friends and I just decided to hang out in the courtyard and have some beers and catch up in life since we hadnt seen each other in a long time due to this COVID crisis. And, to my surprise, the 4 guys got everything packed into the trailer! Anthony, the team leader, was a tetris master and maximized the space in the trailer. Because of that, I saved an additional $900 in space in the trailer that I was expecting to use. They even started at 9:37am but they rounded up in our favor to a start time of 9:40am. They even finished officially at 1:45pm by strapping everything in but rounded it down in our favor to 1:40pm so I wasnt charged extra.Again, it was an amazing experience! It relieved so much stress off the backs of my wife and I and saved us SO much money! Thank you, Rigos Moving & Storage! And thank you Anthony and crew members for your hard work!

We hired Rigos Moving to help unload our household items once we arrived in SoCal. Although the 2 guys that were sent out to us were young, they demonstrated experienced techniques and thoughtful precaution while unloading our expensive, imported furniture and other items. They reassembled our bedroom suit and unloaded 80+ small to extra-large sized boxes and it did it all in just under 2 hours. Based on our experience we can confidently recommend Rigos Moving to anyone.

They were careful with our things, and I’m confident that we will have little to no damage because of the care they took. I underestimated the time that we’d need them, but thankfully they were able to stay long enough to complete everything (of course I paid for the extra hours, which is expected and fair). They were true professionals, and I’m grateful for their help today!

I was dreading a cross country move. I used SML, which uses local moving companies. The guys from Rigos showed up and from the moment they arrived, they were super-efficient, careful, and brilliant at packing a 26 truck with two stops that I had no hope we could fit everything into. We even had 1/5 of the truck left over.Even though the moving truck arrived late due to a Penske error (nothing to do with Rigos at all as the truck was separate from Rigos), the Rigos crew made sure to have everything staged and remained upbeat and professional. It turned into a much longer day than we had planned but

They are helping us with our u-haul box move, which is complicated because we had some stuff at a storage locker and some at our house. The storage unit was done on Saturday and they were very professional, prompt, efficient, and careful with my things. They made sure I put my own padlocks on the boxes and had a picture of the serial number of each box. I couldnt be happier with them so far!

We used a Rigos Moving Company crew in April 2017 to load a truck with fragile antiques. These guys drove a long way to get to us (almost to San Diego), yet they arrived cheerfully and worked their asses off--while also being very careful with the antiques we were loading.HIGHLY recommended.

Rigos was ok. They didnt come on the appt time due to an error and emded up being late. The workers were alil slow. I gave them a 3 because they were apologetic about their mistake.

We only needed them to unload our rented 26 Penske truck. The 2 guys were pre-booked for an hour or 2. By the time they had finished, it cost us another $600 of their time. Not that they moved slow, but we had lots to unload and we were down a flight of stairs. Loading the truck in NJ took just as long. Nothing broken, nothing missing, gentlemen to the end. Would (and soon plan to) use them again and recommend to friends.

We were very happy with the 2 young men who showed up from Rigos. They called ahead and explained they were running ahead of schedule and asked if we would mind if they showed up early. We had no problem with that at all. The 2 young men were extremely polite, very professional and quite frankly very fast at the job they were doing. We booked them to unload 2 UBOX containers. Which were packed to capacity. I would definitely use Rigos again. I would have given them 5 stars but the only problem I had was that I booked them for 3 hours which was pre paid and they were finished in 1 hour. When I called the company back to ask for a refund they said it was non refundable because I booked them online. Live and learn. Next time Ill call them directly.

These guys work harder than Ive ever seen anyone work before. I foolishly hired them for 2 hours, and they ended up staying an additional 7 and never once complained. Amazing work ethic and attitudes. They took the time to wrap up all of our furniture before loading it. Wasnt expecting that but it sure was nice! Would definitely use them again

Excellent Movers! They treated my items with respect and worked very quickly. Cant recommend Rigos enough!

I was very happy with the service. The movers were nice and very considerate. Ask questions and offered their moving expertise. Very with Rigo & Uhaul. Moving sucks, but they made it better.

Easy process. The movers arrived on time and gave good packing/storing advice along the way.

I would highly recommend against using Rigos moving. Im an antique dealer in California and Id booked Rigos for a couple of jobs. His communication was terrible over the weeks I tried to contact him. I texted, nothing. I emailed, nada. I left phone messages asking for an update as to whether or not the furniture pick up had taken place?...tumbleweeds. Basically, after quoting the jobs and agreeing to the price, he vanished. Totally useless.

Quick and easy with only 2 guys, boxed my 2 bedroom apartment wrapped furniture loaded within 2 hours off too new home.

Terrible. They wrecked a moving van they were not licensed to drive and then refused to even discuss and said it was our problem. These guys are not licensed, they are not legal, and they will not be responsible for damage they do. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!See photos below of what his employees did to my new car while on the clock for Rigos. This guy is not insured, his employees are not licensed to drive, and they will not stand behind the damage they do. AVOID THIS SCAMMER!!!!

TERRIBLE!! TERRIBLE.We were charged double and all of our furniture is scratched and severely damaged. They showed up having no idea what the job even was, clearly Marta signs up these poor hard workers for jobs and clearly doesn’t explain the situation.

I used Rigos for unloading my uBox once I arrived in California. I had two younger guys unloading it. They were courteous, professional, and gentle with my items. The company I used back in MN were clumsy and damaged my nicest piece of furniture (only carrying it out a patio door). I was afraid that Rigos movers would damage it further because, here, they had to carry it up a difficult staircase. My movers, however, took great care to get it upstairs and didnt make one mark on it despite the great challenge. I am very thankful for Rigos and plan to use them when I move out!
