Called in an order on Tuesday and stressed a must have delivery by Friday shipping via Next Day Air. I was told that the Mil-Spec bags were in stock and if I accepted the $25.00 expedite fee they would ship within 24 hours. Well today is Thursday and still no bags and no replies to my emails. Called early this morning and spoke with a CSR that seem very indifferent and was told they would get back to me by tomorrow morning. Are you listening to me I need the bags tomorrow!!! Well 5 hours passed and still no follow-up from IMPAK and now when I call theres no answer or voicemail.Sent a cancellation email and now its a scramble to find bags!Never again - BUYER BEWARE!!
This is a great USA manufacturing company. I looked pretty much all over the web to find packaging like they have. Many retailers are having supply chain issues and it is better to buy directly from the manufacture these days.If you have any questions or issues I suggest working with Gilbert Cuevas. He is very solutions oriented and helpful for the small business owner.
I inquired about a chamber style vacuum sealing machine for a food product. I hand delivered $64 worth of product to be test sealed at their request, then never heard back from them despite multiple follow up emails. They also couldnt/wouldnt give a detailed explanation of how/why they needed to test seal my product. I cant recommend spending money with them.
I rented an industrial food packaging machine from them for a project. It was great and easy to make the booking and pay for it including a $7K deposit which I was told I would have returned when the machine was returned. Well, that was 6 weeks ago and we still havent received our security deposit back yet. After numerous emails and phone calls, nothing! Was promised just 3 days ago that our check was cut and sent out via FedEx. Havent received it. Asked for tracking number, havent received it. And also they were supposed to pick up the machine and never did so we rented a truck and returned it ourselves. For a company toting that Customer Service is something they are proud of, I dont know what to say!
Once they take your money they are done with you... Whether the machine works or not.. You will feel scammed as they will not reply to your complaints. How are they in business with NO concern about customer satisfaction..? Only scammers take your money and run off to pay their rent and not look back..
I contacted them on 4/23/2020 asking for a certain spring to repair one of our sealing machines. I ordered the recommended product; but when it arrived, there was no spring in the package. I then contacted them about it and they told me they would look into it. After I followed up, he asked for some pictures of the spring I needed from our other sealer so I provided them to him. After I followed up again a week later, he told me that the kit that I bought, ON HIS RECOMMENDATION, does not contain springs at all. He then told me the spring would not be in stock for 5-7 days and to check back then. I followed up 6 days later and he told me he would check on them. After no response for another 6 days I followed up again and got no response for 2 weeks and another follow up. He offered to try and pull one off of an existing unit and send it to me but then when silent for more than 2 months. After my latest follow up he sends an email about how he will have the screws in stock this week (8/19) and will send them to me. I replied that I needed springs and not screws. It is now 8/26/2020 and I still dont have either. I wouldnt order from here again if they paid me to do it.UPDATE**I have still not received my springs. I have contacted them twice more since the original post and had additional issues. I will say that my contact there has tried to send me springs since the last post and the envelope even arrived. He sent four springs through USPS and apparently a machine ripped the envelope open and spilled them out somewhere along the way. I asked if he would send another set in October and he agreed to do so. I still have not received springs or tracking information though I have asked for it. The current date is 01/19/2021
Where to start? Ordered numerous Mylar bags from them years ago and found a defect in one of the bags after some time. Had to FIGHT to get them to take back this defect as they only warranty the product for so long... Who can inspect 1000s of bags to find issues with every handful of bags huh? They gave me a credit for my next order which wasnt until a couple years after this issue. I place my order and instead of applying my credit towards the entire order, theyve applied it towards this same bag SKU which is.... surprise... no longer in stock. Oh, and theyve charged me for these bags they dont have in stock and have yet to refund this, its been two months now. Avoid this business like the plague.

Extremely poor customer service. I notice that the owner does not address any recent issues that occur with customers, just likes the good reviews. We ordered replacement parts for a sealer, the package arrived missing 3 pieces, after several conversations and 3 weeks of time spent, the pieces were said to be sent. We received 1 of the 3 missing pieces, when I called and spoke with Stephanie at the California plant regarding the still 2 missing pieces, she said she would look into it. Receive an email from Yoanna that stated that she would send the parts however, expediting it via overnight would be our expense. When I spoke with Alan-the supervisor he stated that it is company policy not to pay for overnight shipping even though it was their mistake. We have been in need of these sealer parts since the beginning of May, our business depends on it. This was not our issue or mistake. Our company follows up with any issues with customers and rectifies any situation with the utmost respect, timeliness and courtesy. I called Alan today (05.28.19) as he said he would send the sealer parts and a confirmation number last week, when I still had not received them, when he answered he said, I am not sure why they sent you to me, hold on I will look. then returned the phone call with Hold on, hold on...i am looking for them. Put me on hold. Then returned to the call with the same toned and statements, when I did not answer simply because I was not going to address someone who was so very rude, he hung up. I called back and left a message. This company has no respect for the customer whatsoever.
Poor customer service. It took over a month to get an answer on a return that they now wont take back! They dont stand by their return policy. I had notified them within the 30 day period of time. I understood they have a restocking fee. I opened one of the boxes, however they are individually boxed 10/box. The two boxes within the large container I understood they couldnt be credited. I was willing to take my hit on those. However, the large boxes that I had ordered were not opened and those should be allowed to return. So now they say they wont accept the return because its past the 30 days and since I didnt talk to one of their representatives before I ordered them that they wont accept the return. Poor business. Dont use them unless you have no other option.
Find the products you need ANYWHERE ELSE. These people are absolutely worthless. They cant get ANYTHING right. Wait times are long with no lines. Cant get order totals right. Cant get addresses right. They literally strive to screw everything up. This place should be out of business. Masters of fail.
Very precise. Accurate measurements. Explained to me all the options available and the product really is top notch. Additionally the artwork department is really easy to work with. A+ delivery on products so far and I will definitely be using them again!
Mine was not a massive order but I had so many questions on size, density and oxygen absorbers. I called the east coast office on multiple occasions and spoke with Debbie. She went above and beyond with giving me the information I needed to make an informed purchase. If she didnt immediately have the answer, she researched my question and found the information I needed. Debbie was always polite and personable while she worked with me. I had such a good experience working with Debbie that I will make future purchases with IMPAK.
I regularly order vacuum seal bags from IMPAK for my dog treat business for the last few years. I frequently order at the last minute, as I dont notice I am out of bags until too late. But IMPAK ships FAST, so I am never left hanging without my bags! At times I have also called in for advice on bag alternatives/options, and they are always very helpful and professional!! Would definitely recommend IMPAK.
10-3 1 Star -I was very interested in their hook to hook closures. But they sent the wrong bags. I checked the invoice before I opened the box, as instructed, the invoice is correct. The bags are not the ones I ordered, there is no hook to hook closure on them. If they send me the correct ones, Ill change this review. Im very disappointed.Update 10-4 2 Stars - Customer service is very nice, I think things are working out. They gave me a return postage to put on the box, and are sending out the correct bags.10-11 4 stars. They got me my order! The bags are exactly what I wanted. Thank you!
Really disorganized company, they missed the part of my order.We prepaid for everything in advance.Missed part shipments supposed to be shipped on August, then their warehouse operation manager emailed and promised to have my spare part shipped by 9/3.25 days passes and after my today call and email they said it’s gonna be shipped today 9/28.Warehouse operation manager is avoiding my call.
IMPAK Corp has the nicest bags. I use their MylarFoil bags (various sizes) with side-seal all the time. It works perfect for quick and easy barrier sealing. I havent had any QC concerns and i have gone through at least 5 cases of their bags. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Gilbert was very helpful in giving me the correct parts to overhaul an older generation of the GVS machines. He could have easily said the parts are no longer available and leave me no option but to buy a new machine. Instead, he helped me on an older model which means they stand behind their equipment with integrity!
Terrible customer service. Machine broke 3 minutes after using. They didnt want to refund money wanted to send more cheap plastic clips and charge shipping for them. They finally approved return but it has been 6 weeks and have not gotten my refund yet. Shop elsewhere.
The staff at IMPAK was helpful and informative. They mailed out samples for me to preview (unprinted) to make sure I was getting the perfect size bag for my product. As with any large printing project that requires artwork, the project took several weeks which is to be expected. I will definitely be using them in the future!
Sent me a defective sealer, then made me pay for return shipping back to the company, so paid for shipping twice, $30 dollars already in the hole with nothing to show for it. Said they would cover the shipping for a replacement item once they receive the old one or I could place a new order and pay for shipping myself to get a new unit sooner, however they wouldnt reimburse the shipping costs. Very disappointed. Looking for business elsewhere, I strongly recommend you do as well. Their return policy obligates all buyers to pay for return shipping even for DEFECTIVE items as mine.

Ordered a heat seal/gas flush machine for my small business. Took long to get it, and had to send it back 3 times (from Canada to the USA). Each time I got it back there were different problems and none of the fixes resulted in a machine I could actually use as I needed. Returned it a 4th time and asked for a refund. Was understanding that time had passed and they agreed to the refund minus the restocking fee. They agreed. 4 Months later I have no refund, my machine is sitting in their warehouse and after repeated attempts to get them to give money back, its still not here. Dont do business with a company like this.

Had a run in with Impak/Sorbent. Be wary of this company. I got caught up for 6 weeks trying to get a quote. They hit you low on printing then try and jam you with crazy inflated art costs. I provided Vector artwork and layout design and they still wanted $150 an hour for supposed 12 hours of work on already finished art that I never authorized. After weeks of them not following up i finally told them to forget it after they tried to scam me on art fees before i even got a solid quote. What a rip off, bate and switch. Ignorant people work the phones that know nothing about layout and art and will not answer calls or call you back. When they do they act like they have no clue what your talking about. If you call them on it they hang up on you. Worst experience ive ever had with a print place. They assume everyone is ignorant to their pricing game. Im sure the owner will write some long b.s. response to this review but dont be fooled. Its just a smoke screen for bad business.
DON’T DO BUISNESS WITH IMPAK!!! I have never experienced a more demeaning and condescending costumer service experience in my life! This nightmare started in October 2015 when I ordered to rent an AirZ gas flush machine from this company, only to wait almost 2 months to receive the device with no word from the company until I reached out to find out what the hold up was to find the machine was sitting waiting to be shipped but got “lost”! My company contact JOSE RIVERA was incompetent and slow in responding to me and said he never assembled this machine and would “learn” how to with me. This went on FOR MONTHS!! (this machine has vague instructions on assembly and no direct list of products needed to operate it!) I had paid a $3000 deposit fee I didn’t want to use parts not specific or rated to use with this machine. Finally, I gave up after 4 months of answers coming at a snail pace and multiple wrong instructions. I had more pressing things to do at that time with my business then deal with this nightmare, but because I had already purchased parts and ordered items over this time, I kept the machine thinking I would return to this when I had time. (MY MISTAKE!) A month later Impak did reach out and told me everyone I had work with before “were no longer with the company”. Although they wanted to set up the machine right then, I asked them for some time and I would get back with them because I was slammed. HONESTLY if these people would have simply given me the names of specific items to buy and a simple diagram of how to put it together all this would have been solved!!!! NEVER WAS I OFFERED ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!! AND I ASKED!!! So when got on track to set the machine up this month I circled back with a clear head and time to spend and asked their people again to please provide me with these items again they gave me a generic list with nothing specific to buy like : Pressure Gauge – Sty – 1. NOTHING SPECIFIC NO INFO PAST THIS!!! I called again and spoke to an EDDIE RODRIGUIZ one of the most condescending techs I’ve ever spoken who told me, “they gave me what I needed”, and he didn’t understand the problem. I asked to talk to his manager a Md. HASAN and was proceeded to be yelled at after explaining my situation to him that I was being ridiculous and no one else had any problems! I decided to try to call another manager to try to resolve the situation, and for 3 days left unanswered messages in multiple departments. On the fourth day after not wanting to leave a message or get off the phone, I was promised that a RAY TORRES a manager at the company would call me in 30 minutes. Thirty minutes later EDDIE RODRIGUIZ calls me! He then tells me that management has decided that I need to return the machine after all this struggle! After expressly telling EDDIE RODRIGUIZ that all I wanted to was to make this machine work EDDIE RODRIGUIZ condescended me the entire time and told me that he was laughing inside that I wasn’t able to figure how to hook this machine up. He told me that I was making everything more complicated than was necessary and that really all I needed to do was “turn it on”. He then repeated that the company decided that instead of helping me any further or try to resolve my issue, that they wanted me to send the machine back, once I did that Impak would then assess if I was to receive any money back for the $3000 deposit plus RENT that I had been paying for the machine! Even though the machine had been siting because of this company’s total incompetence!! Even after I told him that my only desire after all this time and effort was to use this machine and not return it! Complete Failure! They gave no clear direction on their device, they have they have incompetent staff that have no training and no regard for customer service, and they have management that don’t resolve customer issues and just exacerbated them. Instead of cultivating a lasting customer, they trashed one. Take your business elsewhere and don’t get caught up in the morass that is this business!
They have the worst customer service in the world! They are a rip off as well! No sense of business whats so ever!I placed an order online on Friday, called to see if I can pick up the order instead of shipping it and no one even mention anything about any fees. When trying to pick up the order on Monday they hadnt even proceed the order since was misplaced and thats where they tried to charge me a $25.00 rush fee, so I said no, I will wait. I get an email on Tue, saying that the order is ready to be picked up but my driver did not make it on Tue but the very next day. Thats when they are now AGAIN trying to charge us a $25.00 fee for rush processing. I had to pay so they can release the order.What type of business is this I do not understand, but sure wont to deal with them ever again!!!!!!
