I ordered some orange chocolates for my birthday and they arrived quickly. I ordered the orange-flavored chocolates that I had at the angel envy tasting and they did not disappoint.Kelly was quick to respond to my email and was able to ship my order out on a Monday and got it by Wednesday. I will be ordering more in the future.

Been wanting to come here since last summer when we tried their chocolate at one of the distilleries. Lovely store. Small space but a lot to see. They have a chocolate pairing for your favorite Bourbon. The gentleman that took care of us was friendly and very helpful. Definitely coming back next time were in town.

Fantastic little shop right on 4th Street. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about the products. He was also very polite and engaging. This is why I love small businesses! This will be a regular stop for us whenever we are in town. Highly recommend.

Cool chocolate store in the heart of Louisville. The chocolatier is the first to be certified to pair chocolate with bourbon. We came to this place as recommended by the Angels Envy bourbon tour guide. Thats where they had some of the chocolates. The store is small but has a great selection of treats. We got dark chocolate covered pretzels that were delicious. Youll have to find a parking garage or street parking to get to the store.

I wasn’t exactly sure if this place was a tasting room or a cafe so I checked it out. The moment you walk in you can smell the Bourbon! The aroma lingered all over the room. They had a large selection of truffle made with Different types of Bourbon! I got to taste the Wild Bill truffle! You can definitely taste the Bourbon in it! To die for!!! The owner was super nice and the store was beautiful!

Small shop of amazing chocolate goodies. I was a little disappointed that we weren’t offered any samples even though others posted about that. Not a big deal but it’s the small stuff like that, you know what I mean?I found this shop via a search because I was looking for Modjeskas. I had read that they are a Louisville favorite. It’s a perfect gift to take back home. My hubby got a few truffles infused with Bourbon.FYI I saw a few of the same chocolates in Falls City Market for slightly cheaper but, of course, there wasn’t a big variety.

I hate to review this low, but these bourbon chocolates have hardly any bourbon in them. What a complete waste of money. I was so excited and yet was disappointed. People who drink bourbon are searching for that punch of bourbon in a bite of chocolate.Update: we had the blade and bow chocolates, much more flavor of bourbon vs the basil hayden, but not quite to my expectation. I appreciate the owner reaching out to correct the experience and while that isn’t needed I would give this place another try. Going from 1 star to 4 star based on the owner feedback. Hopefully they have some higher potent chocolates for when I visit :-)

This place was great! A little pricey, but thats okay. They gave me a sample of a DELICIOUS apple pie bourbon candy since it was my birthday, and we ended up walking out with $40 worth of stuff! The candies are pretty great, and the clerk was also very sweet and informative.

Very small shop with a very limited amount of handcrafted chocolate pieces infused with bourbon from some the best places in the Kentucky bourbon trail. The chocolate pieces are delicious and very well marked inside the box, so you know exactly what you are eating. I thought it was a little bit over priced and also noticed that they didnt have any individual pieces of chocolate, or a variety of chocolate boxes for you to choose from. I hope that they consider adding a bigger variety of chocolate pieces in the near future.

They are very friendly! They have my favorite locally made seasonings too, not just chocolates. The chocolate dipped oreos are to die for though. :-)

This was a treasure to find. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were showing out of town guests around Louisville and they treated us with courtesy. This store is a must see place whether you are local or from out of town. There was whiskey of every kind and both bourbon and regular candy. I recommend this store highly.

This is a nice and quaint store. I happened upon the store while visiting the museum next door. I purchased some delicious Markers Mark chocolate. The ladies were very friendly.

Very different from bourbon balls this woman owned business is AMAZING. Her husband who helps run the shop was friendly, informative, and had plenty of samples to try. Walked away with bourbon infused chocolates and couldnt have been happier.

These truffles are the best thing that I have ever put in my mouth...I love them all, especially the different kinds of Bourbon truffles. They just melt in your mouth!!! Best chocolate ever. I love this place!!! It is by far the best place you will ever taste a truffle at. I visit every week on Saturday.....and I always leave happy and excited!!!

This place is the exact definition of kid in a candy shop! I usually dont like candy shops that much but we went in here because the sign said Nut Free and they are different. I have a peanut allergy and I dont like risks regarding my allergy, luckily they were true to their word, there is not cross- contamination, workers are educated on the topic, and super nice. Plus, all of their chocolates are BEAUTIFUL and some of the best things you will ever taste!!!!!

Greeted instantly with the scent of chocolate, bourbon and a sample by the gracious owner! Delighted to see several varieties of the truffles made with my favorite bourbon brand including the rye and cask strength versions. We had the truffles over the weekend with both bourbon and wine (cab) and it paired very well with both. Highly recommend!

I was in Louisville a couple of weeks ago and stopped in the shop. The Lady working (sorry I cant recall her name) was so pleasant and helpful. The truffles were some of the best Ive ever had and I purchased a few boxes. Turns out it wasnt nearly enough so I just placed an online order for a few more. Warm welcome, gentlemen gave us samples and informed us of some rich history. Enjoyed all the details in the kid friendly chocolates, but definitely purchased 1792 and old forester truffles!

Smells amazing as soon as you walk through the door! Staff was very helpful and polite. Everything I purchased was delicious! So glad I can order online as I live out of state and was only there for a week for work.

I went there around 2013. Their shop was amazing. I believe this was not too long after they opened. Every bourbon truffle was on point and the owners were amazing people. Wonderful. After moving to DC I miss their stuff the most.

Oh my goodness. These are not bourbon balls. These are handcrafted bourbon truffles, crafted with some of the best whiskeys Kentucky had to offer. The owners are wonderful too!

The taste is amazing, you can really taste the bourbon in every truffle. The owners of the shop are supper friendly. I wasn’t a big bourbon drinker at the time and they helped me with telling the pallets I would get from the truffle and now I have found a bourbon I love. Great for new bourbon drinkers.

What a charming shop! These bourbon chocolates are devinely decadent. I have had chocolates from all over the world and these are absolutely the best! Anyone looking to gift someone with a taste of true Kentucky must include fabulous treats from Art Eatables!

These chocolates are quite possibly the best I have ever had!

Fantastic shop on 4th Street very close to the Mercury ballroom and Broadway that specializes in artisan chocolates particularly bourbon infused treats. They also carry many other locally sourced items such as honey and other chocolates made by other local chocolatiers. They also have a location that I have not checked out yet on main Street near museum row so if you love chocolate or love bourbon art eatables is a place to check out.

All of the truffles I have had from here are incredible. The different types of chocolate are paired with the right type of bourbon to compliment both. Do yourself a favor and try the milk chocolate Fair Rose Truffle!

This place smells like heaven when you walk in! The bourbons are perfectly paired and infused in the chocolates. And the entire store is nut free, awesome for those with allergies. They even have a No Fun Zone in the middle for kids with alcohol free chocolates, if youre into that sort of thing.

Very interesting twists on familiar chocolates. The shop is cozy and laid out well. I could browse and find things easily. Only negative is that the chocolate is pricey.

Absolutely fabulous chocolates. They have a great selection of bourbon truffles with a wide variety of brands. Their bourbon caramels are equally impressive with a great variety of flavours. The shop has a hip, eclectic aesthetic. They proudly note that they are the worlds first chocolatier to be certified in infusing bourbon and chocolate; certified by a society to which they are a founding member. The audacity it takes to claim original license over an industry that has nearly eighty years of history in Kentucky would be staggering if not for the quality of their products. Their chocolates are in fact good enough to make up for their overzealous, self-agrandizing sales pitch. If you have a love of Bourbon and/or fine chocolates and find yourself in the Louisville area dont pass up a chance to visit Art Eatables

Some of the best chocolates Ive ever had! Even if you are not a fan of bourbon, this place is worth trying! I am not a bourbon drinker, but I loved them all! Each chocolate from a different bourbon is very distinct, even to my palate. We got numerous small boxes of 4, plus their 16pc sampler.

Small Artisan chocolate shop in downtown area. Its a shame you cant pay to taste different bourbon balls as they are quite expensive for their size. I really liked the ones they had at Peerless but I didnt see that in the shop. I thought they were ok and a nice place to buy gifts but I didnt find them to be amazing/the chocolate itself didnt blow my socks off but I also travel to Belgium and France frequently for work so Im a bit spoiled. FYI you can find Woodford Reserve/Buffalo Trace balls at Party Source for $4 cheaper per box if youre on a budget and want to grab extra gifts
