My hubby and I went to the Jared store at Shelbyville Road for the first time ever. It was a wonderful experience! Elias and Tina waited on us. They were outstanding, polite, not at all pushy. They listened to us and found exactly what we were looking for. I enjoyed them and my hubby and I will absolutely return to them for the best and most pleasant service experience we’ve had in a long time! Thank you so much!!!

This location is outstanding! Amazing customer service. No pushy sales people, they really want to help find what is best for you. Also, I love that they dont do false pricing discounts. They just price things at a reasonable price versus the other guys who raise them up and then advertise 40% off. If you are looking to do a custom piece talk to Eli. He is your guy. He was so patient, attentive, kind, and thorough in the process. He was responsive and offered so many great suggestions and helped keep the project on track and moving forward. The end result was breathtaking.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!! No one there was overly aggressive or pushy. We found the perfect rings for our wedding and they have special meanings to us. Not your traditional wedding rings. Eli and Sharon were so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!!!

My fiancé and I have had a wonderful experience here shopping for our engagement and wedding rings. We were referred here from a friend who said that everywhere has a great pre-buy experience but that Jared has the best post-buy customer service and we have found that to be true. We were able to get exactly what we wanted, the jewelers were knowledgeable (shoutout to Jackey!!) and accommodating, and they helped us with other wish list items for the future. They even cleaned a ring of ours that we hadn’t purchased in the store when we came in for a cleaning!We’ll definitely be continuing to shop here whenever we have any jewelry needs.

I ordered a Birthstone ring for my wife. The service and help of the person was great. What wasn’t great was my wife opening the Jared’s gift box and the first thing she sees is the huge made in China tag attracted to the ring. I was floored when I saw it. There was no mention of the ring being made in China in the ad or by the salesperson. Needless to say I won’t be buying from them again. I thought Jared’s was a reputable jewelry company that sold quality things I guess time will tell about this purchase.

My fiancé and purchased earrings for me for Christmas and we were helped by Elias. Such a pleasant experience. Fast forward 10 months, we came back to look at engagement rings and were helped by Eli again. I truly enjoy working with him the first time for my earrings and even better experience when looking for an engagement ring. I picked a few out and Eli got a feel for my taste. He said there was one I absolutely had to see. It had a princess cut stone and we were looking for round. I said I wasn’t feeling it. He said hold on and he will have the stone removed and place a round on for me to see. And what do you know.. he was right! I fell in love with the ring. I really felt like he gave us a very personal experience and really got to know us to help us find what we wanted ! The funny thing is, I went back to an old Pinterest board and found that many years ago I had pinned a ring from the same designer as my ring, I even saw the ring I pinned, but loved the one he pulled for me more !Thank you so much Elias for figuring me out and finding my dream ring :)Side noteWe did go to one other place to look, the prices were outrageous. The diamond Elias helped us find was a bigger and better quality (all around the 4c) than another store and was almost 5k cheaper !

Terrible customer service. Waited fifteen minutes to pick up a ring and no one even acknowledged me except the girl that opened the door for the second she looked up from her phone. However, the gentleman that came in after me was greeted and spoken to several times.

Very good jewelry store. Many styles in watches, rings, earrings, charms. Diamonds in any size you want. Located near St Mathews mall. Separate parking area from mall with plenty of parking. Professional staff on hand. You can purchase high end or moderate items. Service is great. I think this store differs from other jewelry chain stores in Louisville and southern Ind.

Had two phenomenal experiences at Jareds picking out diamond earrings and engagement ring for my fiance. Was very happy with my purchases and recommended them to everyone I talked to about what I bought.But then...... it all went wrong with the wedding bands. At first, the ring was supposed to be shipped from another store in NJ but it never actually existed because someone had the stock wrong on the computers. They never realized it until we went in there and it had been a week past the delivery date. Then they said they had to order it from the manufacturer.... the order never went through because they ordered it incorrectly(not sure how thats possible). Then they finally get it correct after a week. Story is not over yet, havent received the ring yet (fingers crossed). I politely informed them that I will not be buying anything from there again and they havent even try to win me back or make it right.So I do not advise anyone ordering anything from them. If the item you want it right there in the showroom, excellent service and great price for the quality. If not, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING.

Although we ended up not getting a ring from Jareds, they were amazing. The people were wonderful and helpful. They made us feel welcome and had a huge amount of selection for our budget. They catered to our budget and really did not push us or make us feel pressured in any way.The other amazing thing about Jareds is how they really work as a team, everyone was helpful and very friendly and welcoming. I loved the fact that there was a play area for the kids, they made sure to ask us if we wanted any refreshments, they offered us umbrellas if it was raining and they even have a TV area if you wanted to watch. All around a wonderful experience even though we did not purchase anything and they still welcomed us.When looking at their selections, it was awesome because their diamonds have a specific number inscribed on them in case they are stolen or lost. They do a wonderful job at listening to details in regards to what you are looking for and they also explained everything about jewelry in depth, such as what type of diamond, the quality, etc etc.The only reason we didnt end up purchasing from Jareds even though we saw one that we fell in love with is because o the fact that there was one that we had previously seen that we could not pass up. It was the ring that fit the brides personality the best.Needless to say, anytime that we need to purchase jewelry in the future, we will be going back to Jareds, especially with the comfort we felt in going there and I recommend you to seek help from Jareds for all of your needs, considering shopping for Jewelry can be very overwhelming.

So my husband and I have purchased every piece of jewelry we own from Jareds. From earrings to wedding bands, bracelets, rings, ect. But on a recent visit to have some items cleaned and fixed we felt less than important. We waited for 45 for service. We were quoted a completely incorrect price since we have warranties. Then we asked about our record since each time you have anything done it’s documented. And they couldn’t produce our record. Several sales reps walked passed us without even a smile or greeting. Agitated we agreed to pay and leave but were made to feel like we wanted something for free. After spending well over thousands of dollars with this company.... our last purchase was out final purchase. Once we pick up our items that are being fixed we will not return. Not even to have pieces serviced. Forget the lifetime warranty on our diamonds. The customer service here has went down the drain. Goodbye

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS OVERPRICED JEWELRY STORE!!!They have horrible customer service by untrained commissioned employees. The Assistant Mgr Kristian is very rude. We were treated rudely in the store & opted not to purchase our loose sapphire from the store that turned out to be overly priced. We had already purchased our Neil Lane setting from Jareds website that needed a stone. After bad customer service & rude staff, we decided to go to The Shane Company where we were treated extremely well! The Natural Sapphire was Beautiful, nicely priced (a lot less than Jared tried to charge), bigger in total carat weight & the exact color that I wanted. They had the sapphires on hand for me to choose from...I did not have to wait for it to be ordered. Jared had to order the sapphires & they did not have a color wheel/catalog so it was a guessing game as to what color the sapphire would be when it arrived to the store. If you want great customer service & quality merchandise, just ride down the street to The Shane Company....they will definitely provide it & much more. They do not work on commission & they genuinely care about making you happy!

These folks are great. I began shopping for an engagement diamond and setting a year and a half ago. They really listened to what I wanted for my fiancé, I was very particular. In the end, I bought the perfect ring, and a year later, they still take great care of us when we go back to have it cleaned and inspected. Never making me feel less because we aren’t there to buy. Although we will be shopping for the matching band soon, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

For the benefit of the lovely people who work here, I will begin by saying I have always had a positive experience at this store in the past, but this day has changed my experience, and I will never return.This rating will hopefully bring attention to an issue that I find concerning and that needs to be addressed.I am providing the email I sent the company today:Please allow me to explain why today will be the last day I step foot in your store located in the Mall St. Matthews area of Louisville, Kentucky.It was only a few weeks ago that I entered to find that you find it necessary to lock your doors. Now, it was odd, and when I called back to ask why it was to learn that your employees didnt feel safe. Locking the doors before a customer enters and after he/she leaves is the only method of protection they have available to them. I found that sad as I have enjoyed visiting this store several times and my husband and I have purchased countless items because it is (was) his favorite store, and any jewelry store that makes (made) him happy makes me happy.Well, that is no longer to be. After entering your store today and alerting someone to my presence as I had entered as a customer exited, I found the pieces I was looking for to celebrate my cruise with my husband. As I stood there ready to purchase, a person came to the door. He was frustrated and his behavior questionable. He was allowed entry. He stormed around the perimeter of the shelves. He went to the door and slammed his hand on it then shouted profanity as he wanted to exit.When I realized that this was a possible bad situation, I called my daughter to me and we prepared to leave only to be stopped by one of your employees.Now, let me tell you my concerns:1. You have locked me and the child I would sacrifice my life for in a store with a crazy person.2. There is no security guard on duty to protect those within.3. The people who are working are not security and can do nothing to protect us.4. There was a pregnant mother working there who is due any day soon.5. I was terrified, shaking, and all I could think of was how in the world we could get out of this.Now, I purchased my items after the gentleman had left and I could see he was no longer there. Perhaps the woman in red who tried to stop me from leaving wanted to make sure he wasnt waiting on the outside. I dont know. If she was, thank you for that at the very least.No matter. Until you have security in this store and can restore piece of mind, I have informed my husband I will never go there again, and as most of the jewelry purchased is for me, I very much doubt he will either.Take care of your people. Find a solution. And for goodness sake, hire someone trained for emergencies.Do I stilll love the people that work there? Yes. It is my hope that by writing this, something will be done to protect them.Update 7/31/19Jared has since contacted me and has ensured me they will be installing buzzers to buzz shoppers in and out as a measure of safety.

My fiancé bought my engagement ring here and loved Gary and Stacy. They were fantastic in helping him select it. Super helpful and nice. They didn’t pressure him and actually listened to his concerns and desires. We now live in Lexington and had an awful experience trying to get our wedding bands so we traveled back to Louisville so we could see Stacy and she helped us get our bands with no issues. GO SEE STACY OR GARY! You won’t regret it!

The staff is nice enough but you can tell they work on commission. They kept trying to push our budget to the absolute limit. They didn’t listen when I asked to see simpler designs. They didn’t have a diamond in the cut I wanted in store so I couldn’t see anything in person.

Went to get my wife a emerald ring for her birthday was a great experience was able to browse around without someone breathing down my neck service was excellent and very professional they really go out of there way to make you feel at home with even a playroom for kids if you so happen to bring with you never felt pressured to buy like most places Ive been i ended up picking a great ring that my wife loves and got the lifetime warranty they offer which made me feel even better about my purchase knowing that if somthing happens it will be replaced or fixed and 30 day refund or exchange. I talked to the new manager over the phone and voiced my concerns and she seemed to take my concerns seriously and apologized for my terrible experience. The new manager seemed delightful great customer service skills but I havent been back in the store. The last time I went Derrick was acting like a fool and the young blonde girl was acting foolish as well. The new manager assured me that type of behavior wont be tolerated while shes there. When I go back Ill update my review!!!

Deeply disappointed with how the St. Mathews Louisville Ky store treated my wife. Your business is largely dependant on getting women to change their last names. Why then is there an asinine policy that makes it impossible for my wife to use her legal name when having her rings serviced? Or updating her in the system to her legal name? I think if the government can recognize and approve of her name change, surely a retail store could find it within themselves to do the same. You have taken a loyal customer and turned them away from your services. Ill be in to return my recent purchase and will take that money to a competitor. For your sake I hope you can make some changes to your policies and/or management to prevent other customers from having these problems.
