Bought Seed Aide to put on top of the new grass seed we planted. Also bought Preen a emergent for area where butterfly and bumble garden will be next spring. Steve Mercer been in business about 43 years, he knows so much. Just wait till you see all their green houses. Phenomenal.

This place is huge. Be sure to check out all the greenhouses. Well organized, but there is so much in stock that you’ll almost certainly need to ask for help. Very friendly and helpful workers in the greenhouses and in the shop. Good prices, better than most other locations in town, with healthy plants. If there’s any complaint, it’s that the parking is a little tight.

IF YOU PASS THIS PLACE UP DONT!!! THEY HAVE BEAUTIFUL SELECTIONS AND ARE VERY SWEET AND WILLING TO HELP. NOT TO MENTION THEY HAVE THE BIGGER AND PRETTIER FLOWERS THAN ANYONE. LASTLY VERY HELPFUL WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS.

I would recommend anybody go to Preston Greenhouse they are very friendly the prices are very reasonable and all their plants and materials are. Excellent quality.i cant say enough how they great you with a smile an ask if they could help you. If you have any questions they are there to help

My wife and I just bought a bag of lawn fertilizer/ weed killer. We are so impressed with the “old school way” of customer service demonstrated by this establishment! For about 2 years I have called and/or stopped in and have been treated so respectfully and at a level one just can’t find or expect in today’s world. Although we haven’t bought much in the past, we are now ready to start our garden and won’t even consider patronizing the other outlets that have truly lost their way. After reading some other reviews, I presume Steve and his family are the owners but I don’t “personally” know anyone there. I do know This place has earned my business. It has been a very, very long time since I’ve felt so strongly. Keep up the great work!! I’m impressed and implore everyone to see for themselves.

Great! Friendly people beautiful flowers and etc. Only went in one greenhouse but there were many more. A lady even let us pick the flowers we wanted and made a flower arrangement right in front of us at the cost of already made arrangements. She was very happy to do it too.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Lots of different plants to choose from and very organized! I will be a returning customer.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews on here. My fiancée and I came here looking for some tomato plants and had a wonderful experience. We called ahead to see if they had any still in stock and the man on the phone was extremely kind and helpful. That kind of customer service continued once we got there. Everyone we came into contact with was very helpful and friendly. They were full of tips and went above and beyond to make us novice gardeners feel confident to start our garden. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for seasonal plants and flowers for a couple years. Steve is the reason I won’t come back. All other employees are great. I don’t want to hear Steve’s negative political views about the President when I’m out enjoying my day to buy flowers. I politely walked away and Steve continued to loudly voice his opinions to me. I will buy elsewhere and this isn’t the first time he’s been rude.

You really can have it both ways!They sell in winter, using wood stoves to heat the greenhouses.So if you own a business, a home or are another greenhouses needing a 3 plant, to full-on commercial landscaping---then meet Preston Greenhouse!Let me know what you think in any case? I needed a half rick of wood and they got the job done. It’s great wood, seasoned, cut to my specs, delivered and stacked for well under $100. I’ll be calling again when I’ve burned through what they brought.

So nice to have a local option so close by between the Home Depot Lowe’s and now menards going up. Friendly staff and quick service, offered to help landscape planning but we haven’t needed that yet. Got a cool succulent and had fun walking around seeing all the different trees... like a mini botanical gardens lol

We’re trying to do a project for a customer, and I needed to ask several questions about plants and pricing. I felt rushed on the phone call, and I kept getting huffs and puffs on the phone when asking about pricing. I get it, you’re busy, but great customer service is about making the client feel like they are important to your business. I did not feel this was the case when I called. We’ll probably be taking our business elsewhere.

I pulled in around 2 pm on a Saturday and saw the sign that said open and hours til 5pm. I also saw the signs for parking. No one comes out so I wondered through a couple of greenhouses to a lovely herb variety. When I exited a woman comes out and I asked if she worked there she replied, “no.” After a pause she said “this is my residence.” I apologized and tried to reassure her that I stayed on the greenhouse side entirely and she said the greenhouses were closed. I pointed out the sign and she just said, “no it’s closed.” I was quite sad as I had several herbs I would have liked to purchase. I am not sure if there should not be better delineation to ensure she does not feel her property has been trespassed upon. I am not sure I will risk returning sadly.

Love this place. The owner/operator is great and very knowledgeable with answers to our queations. This will be our 3 rd year going back. Keep up the awesome work. We love it

Customer Service is HORRIBLE. My husband and I were not greeted by anyone. After 10 minutes of looking around and finally finding plants that we really loved, still no one greeted us. Two of the workers stood there and gave direct eye contact without speaking or acknowledging us, and watched us get in our car and drive off. So I decided that I would go to Morrison’s Greenhouse where the workers are helpful and friendly, and you’re actually greeted and welcomed upon arrival. This visit was such a waste of my time.

I called to get a price on buying a large amount of MUMS for a fundraiser. I wasn’t asking for any kind of special deal or anything like that. But the man acted like I was wasting his time. I’ll take my business elsewhere!
