I got such great service at the Thacker Jewelry. I was hesitant to take my rings anywhere to get sized and checked because some places send the work off and I didn’t want that. They do all the work in house and they are so courteous snd helpful. They even got my work done ahead of time. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are the best.

I inherited a couple of diamond rings from my grandmother which had been damaged. I had been to several jewelers finding the best estimate, quality in craftsmanship, and other factors before deciding on who to go with. Thacker Jewelers was my last business to check. Upon entering, I was immediately asked to turn around, remove my mask, and stand in front of a camera. It was a bit alarming not to be trusted, but I didnt give it a second thought after that. The woman was friendly, and I explained to her what I was needing. For the repair of one ring, the quote was the same as other places Id been to. For the replacement of a baguette, I was shocked with what I was offered. First, she stated that the diamond was a 1/2 carat and would cost $1700. In reality, it was a 1/4 carat baguette diamond that was needing to be replaced. When I told her that was in no way a 1/2 carat baguette, and if she could compare it to another 1/2 carat baguette in store, she informed me they didnt carry a baguette that large to compare it to. I had not brought with me the other repair estimates, or the appraisal done on the ring prior to the damage being done to it, so I left with both rings in hand. Upon leaving, two customers had come in, wearing masks, and they were not asked to stand and pose in front of their camera. That left a bitter taste in my mouth. When I returned home, I pulled out the appraisal to discover it was a 1/4 carat diamond baguette. With the appraisal in hand, I went to the jeweler who had impressed me the most with their customer service, knowledge, and craftsmanship - and that was NOT Thacker Jewelry. If I knew nothing about the size of the diamond, I would have been taken advantage of paying twice as much as I should have.

Definitely worth the price. Very happy with my ring resize—my grandma’s old ring looks like new now and fits great.

I had my double strand of pearls restrung at Thacker Jewelry. The pearls were very specialto me because they were my grandmothers’ pearls on both sides of the family. Thacker Jewelry did a professional job restringing the pearls. I was highly pleased beyond my expectations!

I had a very unpleasant shopping experience on December 23rd 2019. My friend and I felt very uncomfortable and were discriminated. The salesman who helped us was rude to us right in our face. I don’t understand why he treated us like that. It could be because I use store credit instead of cash. I received a gift from my momwho purchased me a gift from their store but I did not like that style. Therefore, I returned it as store credit. While I was shopping, the man was implying to his coworker that I have been there multiple times in front of us with a Contemptuous Tone!!! I had only been there three times. The first time I went to return the gift because I didnt like the style. The second time I tried to pick out something with my mother and friends in order to use the store credit. However, we were kicked out by the employees as they said that we had been there too long. We were only there for about an hour. I felt very unwelcomed the whole time. The third time, I went there for about 8 minutes to use my store credit. I felt discriminated. I will not recommend this store as they did not give equal service to us. We spent over thousands of dollar at this and the last thing I could ask for is at least some patient even if we are using store credit. Picking out something significant takes a lot of times and I should expect some decent service if I were to spend months salary. The only nice thing I would say is Rachel Cook was a nice salewoman. She was patient and smiled at us. I will not be back at this store again and do not recommend anybody else to go there unless they change their service and attitude towards their customers.For the owner who said I havent been there since January， here is the proof。

Excellent jeweler! They reworked a ring that my husband received from his father 40 years ago. They designed a new ring that incorporated some stones from his mothers wedding ring and still used a lot of the shape/design that was in the original ring. Great service! The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. I have bought several pieces of jewelry here over the years and have always been extremely happy. They are a truly local business. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I was caught a little off-gaurd by the price. Before I bought my jewelry, I had been in the store and spoke with a sales person and she wrote the price down for me. I returned during their 60%-off sale to make my purchase. I was expecting 60% off of the price she had previously quoted, but instead, only had about 17% off. She said the price she had quoted was not the real price, but rather, a discounted price and the 60%-off applied to the real price. I was not aware she had quoted me and already discounted price, so it caught me a little off-guard when I didn’t save as much as I had planned. Otherwise, I was very pleased and will gladly shop here again.

LOVE Thacker Jewelry! I have purchased multiple pieces from their store - some custom made and some directly from the case. I have also had jewelry repairs done by them. It is always spectacular service!

I designed a customer made ring from scratch with Thacker. They quoted me 1.5 months from first design to the finished ring but it took over 4 months because the first digital designer they worked with on my ring messed up 7 times. I was thinking “maybe she’s just confused about my design” as it was somewhat unique, though not anything overly complex. Then the man helping me said, essentially, “yeah we have problems with her pretty often”. So then why do you keep using her???? When the ring was finally finished it was beautiful, exactly as I had envisioned it. Fast forward to 4 months later, 2 months after I proposed and the center diamond is loose. We take it in to another jeweler (I moved back home after finishing school) and the ring is basically falling apart from shoddy craftsmanship. A critical flaw in the craftsmanship of the ring has made it so that the ring is so unstable it can’t be fixed, and no other jeweler will touch it. Long story short, Thacker offered to recast the ring, but after everything that happened we do not trust them, and we do not want to wait the several weeks to months it would take to get the process done, only to get a ring that could very possibly have the same or a similar problem which would need to be addressed months or years down the road. And to top it all off, when I spoke with one of the owners on the phone she tried to blame me for the problem saying “you were told that such a dainty design had some inherent risk”. I was never told anything about the design being unstable, I was told that my design wouldn’t present any problems at all. We went with another company and will not be doing business here again.

Jerrod is very patient and courteous, and has a great eye for what looks good together. We also bought our wedding bands here and will continue to come back, we will be lifelong customers!

Was a satisfied customer until one of their salesman was rude to my wife:Situation was 3 years ago had a custom wedding ring made and was very happy with their product and customer service. My wife needed to have her ring re-seized and just so happened to show up on the day that there having a huge sale. She was approached by a sales person that proceeded to tell her that they are very busy and she needed to come back later in the week, unless she wanted to look at something better.I think this statement was condescending and rude considering they were ONLY very eager to help those people who were interested in buying jewelry and refused to offer any customer service for a small request. I find it very odd that any local retail business would suggest for a patron to leave and come back another time. We live out of town and this was an inconvenience for us.

I bought my wive’s engagement ring at Thacker. I had only been dating my girlfriend for 3 weeks and I walked in and it hit me pretty hard what I was actually doing. They used photos that I had and made a 3D replica. It didn’t take very long. I was on a knee by month 3 and married by month 6. We are still happily married today! I recently purchased wedding bands. Never ever going back and will not recommend to anyone! Took my watch to be repaired, after 2 phones on my part, 2 trips back, 7 weeks, and $50 the crystal on my watch was replaced. Now I just have a small wire sticking out of my clasp poking me off and on but my crystal is fixed. Their review system is bogus too...got a text message today for a review and my ONLY options were average and above average.

I wont go anywhere else. #1 bought a sapphire & diamond ring but wanted to change to a brighter sapphire. The last repair was terrible, the saudering was very visible & I thought it was a goner for sure. Nope. Thackers repair people did an amazing job! It looks brand new, & sturdy once again. #3 I wanted to add something to my 32 yr old wedding ring. Thanks to the informed advice of my sales lady (Im so sorry Ive forgotten her name). We were able to keep the simplicity & integrity of my original ring with a guard that frames & enhances it at the same time. I kept picking other guards, but she kept directing me to this one certain one. Im so glad I listened! It is fanominal! Give them a try - you wont be disappointed!!
