This place is amazing!!!! I called them on Friday morning and had a new garage door opener with two remotes by 6 oclock.New opener and remotes was imperative due to my sister medical condition and the fact she had no remote. She had a total leg removal in July and had just returned from rehab. I had been with her since July 7 but had to return home 9/11 and I could not leave her without a garage door remote so that a medical transport carrier could pick her up for Doctor visits via garage access.TTravis assisted me and Rene Cortez completed the job. I am forever grateful, what an outstanding company!!!

Please make sure you call overhead door on 4912 Frankford and not overhead garage door. Overhead garage door is not overhead door. Overhead garage door company ripped off my mom trying to charge her double whereas overhead door came out promptly repaired the door and it cost a fraction of the cost that overhead garage door was trying to charge her. Overhead garage door would not return her deposit either when she tried to cancel her order. Overhead garage door shows up as the first item in a google search as an attempt to capitalize on the known name overhead door. Make sure you get the correct company.

I had a broken garage door spring. Called Monday; they came Tuesday morning. Efficient and friendly.

Paige very impersonal. Rushing off the phone instead of listening to what is needed. Couldnt even give a basic time window, AM or PM of when someone could come. Told her a certain time I COULD NOT be home, and that is when the service guy came. Poor communication. I dont have a good feeling for them doing work for me.

I cant talk about the quality of the service as I never got it. I called them and asked for a quote. They came took measurements and called me back and provided me with a verbal estimate (I specifically asked for a written or electronic quote) and have kept me waiting for 4 weeks. They told me that because of Covid it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get the door. Its been 4 weeks and no calls to provide updates. Im taking my business elsewhere.

CJ was great, he got my new garage door installed in an hour and a half. Looks great, I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend these guys!

Worst experience. Rarely get a call back, Im always the one reaching out to get updates; and its taking much longer than planned for 2 doors (nearly 2 months now). When the doors were finally brought the first time, it turned out the measurements were correct but one of the doors was built wrong size, and the installers actually wanted to do construction to make my opening smaller, rather than have the door re-built properly. This will be the LAST time I use Overhead Door and would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Tell you one price and charge another. Call Heartland Garage Doors if you need anything door related.

Horrible experience with their billing department my mom never received a statement from them, granted they usually do not take payments. However she has done business with them for well over 30 yrs. Rather than call and ask if she might have forgotten they immediately stated we’re going to put a lien against your property. All over $222, if they’re that desperate for money maybe they should just close. Definitely done with them!

I agree about the billing department!!! My bill was for $95.00 and they sent me court papers to put a lien on my house. First of all I had service in June, I was told I was going to get billed which I did a month later. Then this Covid pandemic hit and we are in October and I have till November 1st to pay this bill or the lien is going to take place. Sad and ridiculous how they would rather take a house from a family for $95.00 and didn’t take it into consideration if we were struggling or not.Then he said to them, “Watch out! The garage door spring that this company replaced for me didn’t even last one year!! It broke this morning. Very disappointed!They must give me a very cheap spring with the smallest cycle life. I paid just a little less than $200. Be aware!

We have used Overhead Door of Lubbock many times, both home and business. We have loved them. They are very professional and get right out to get the job done. From the girl answering the phone to the service technicians, everyone is friendly and on top of it. We will definitely continue using them and recommending them to everyone. Was emailing with someone named Paige about getting the OHD anywhere opener installed. Terrible email communication, barely sent responses. Finally got a response about scheduling and never received a reply after that or any additional follow-up emails that I sent. Tried calling their number before that but kept getting a busy signal. Finally got a hold of someone this Monday about scheduling (a lady who didnt say her name when she answered) she Scheduled the appointment for today 6/17 in the morning (between 8-12). My husband took off work for the entire morning to be there and nobody showed up or called. Horrible service, will not being doing business here because apparently they dont want your business to begin with.

I had the most impressive experience today with Overhead Door Company of Lubbock. A month ago we had a spring replaced on our garage door. Yesterday the new spring broke again. I called and asked for help. I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness on the phone call. It made me feel good that they cared about the customer. Today the tech showed up on time as promised, great attitude and filled me in on what the issue was. Again treated very well and replaced both springs making me feel valued as a customer.

I have had their opener for 4 years, had a power outage during a storm that fried a circuit board, called them up would be 2 days before they could service due to holiday, so i they set the part out and i replaced the board. very friendly service. no complaint about the wait the holiday is not their fault.

Worst company weve ever dealt with. First repairman said he fixed but he didnt. That night it quit working again. Second repairman came out and said it needed a part. So we began our wait for the illusive part. My husband and I both have called several times and speak with a female who said they would get back with us. Over and over again. I called after my husband couldnt get an answer and she said she thought they got shipment in that day and would call me. I explained how lifting the door was taking a huge toll on my elderly husbands back but despite her promise to call she did not. Finally I called and decided that the opener that they put in to begin with was worthless as its broken down several times since we bought our house. We are having a brand new garage door opener put in this afternoon. Thank God for folks who tell the truth and will return your calls. I would never use this company again.

Had a broken torsion spring, tech showed up the next morning bright and early and had it changed quickly. Both the tech and the person I talked to on the phone to schedule the call were very friendly. I would definitely do business with them again!

I called last Thursday to set up time for Overhead to come out. They were most accommodating. Showed up a little early this morning, took care of issue, called me to know exactly what was wrong, and was able to take care of payment over the phone.Ive used them multiple times (about 4-5 years ago and now) and been very impressed with their customer service.Overhead Door will continue to be the first call I make anytime I need repair moving forward.

Bought a new home and overhead door installed the door. New home warranty supposed to take care of problems. Door makes a bunch of noise. Door not seated properly. They came out once and said they needed to order a part never heard from them again. Still not fixed. Very sorry service. Would not recommend them to anyone. Had to give them one star to post otherwise I would not even give them 1 star.

The younger (adult) male at the window of the front entrance was not professional. Too much attitude without knowing it. A nice guy Im sure, but too casual for my taste. Im not your coworker. Im your customer.

Gave them one star because the technician was nice and friendly. They are way over priced. Charge triple the price for the parts you can obtain at Lowes or Home Depot. Would recommend going through your home warranty or another local garage repair company.

Worst company ever!!! They never sent us a bill and started adding late fees to the account!! When I told her we never got a bill she was extremely rude and said ya. Ok. I just like to waist 50 cents every month sending you a bill. My response is ya and I just like adding late fees to my account every month😡Such a rude company and way over priced!!! Will never call them ever again and do your self a favor and don’t call these people!! All they want is ur money!!!

I will never call Overhead Door again. A spring broke on my garage door. I called them, and the workman replaced the spring and left. The bill was $150, and my door hung up constantly after they left, I finally called AMERICAN TOTAL DOOR COMPANY, and they checked it out. There was also a pulley that was broken, causing the door to hang up. They were 2 hours earlier than they said they would be, fixed the pulley, greased the rollers, checked alignment, serviced the opener, and gave me a teachers discount. My door works perfectly, now. Dont call Overhead Door.

I would have given them MINUS FIVE STAR, if it was possible. Worst customer service, worst staff, accounting is a mess. Quality of door is very poor. Dont even try calling them. I would pay more bucks to other people and have peace of mind.

Overcharge for thier door remotes. Called because accidently shut my remote inside detached garage. THey flatly told me it would be 45 dollars . while the exact overhead door brand remote i have locked inside garage is on Amazon for 29.99 and charge no shipping costs ontop of that unless sign up for prime and even then its only difference in shipping days.

Horrible company. They would not stand by their warranty and tried to blame us for the garage door breaking. They said something got hung up in it and it was our fault. Nothing was in front of it and nothing ever touched it. It was probably a bad install and they are not willing to stand by the warranty. The previous owners had issues with a bad install before they replaced this one as well. Horrible people and company! Never use them!

I would highly recommend Overhead Door. They are absolutely the best with customer service. The spring on our door was fixed in no time due to his complete knowledge.
