I was a long time happy customer of Lumberton Honda. We purchased a 2018 Pilot and my in-laws purchased a new Honda CRV and I raved about how great the dealership was to anyone who would listen. Josh, my salesman knew I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler (for over 2 years), he finally called me to tell me hed found one that had everything I wanted. I went down the next day to look at it on my lunch. They ran credit checks on my wife and I, gave me a trade in value, we submitted copies of our drivers license and even had USAA add the VIN Jeep to our policy to show proof of insurance. I told Josh I wanted the Jeep and I told him my wife and I would be down after we got off work to complete the deal. in about an hour after getting back, I was texted that the Jeep had been sold. I couldnt believe my eyes and thought he was joking. Ive since bought a great Jeep from Dodge of Fayetteville. Lumberton Honda, you have lost mine and my families business because of not having a policy in place to avoid this from happening. When a long time customer tells you they will be back to buy it, you dont sell it out from under them. They seemed to think this was not a big deal.

I recently had my car serviced at Lumberton Honda. I was due for an oil change and tire rotation. The service was friendly and very quick. I did not have to wait long at all. It was very easy making an appointment. I have purchased several cars in the past from this dealership. I will always recommend them for their service and courtesy.
During the sale everything was awesome. My salesman Austyn knew his $hit and was extremely knowledgeable strikingly handsome and incredibly helpful. After the sale just crickets. Windshield cracked on the vehicle and took them a month to get a Honda Rep (don’t know why Ray Charles can see it was a defective windshield) to say yes we can replace it. The dealership needs to care more about the customer after the sale as much as they do while trying to sell you a vehicle.
Service was excellent and done before the time I requested! I’ve never had a bad experience with them in the past 4 years I have been doing business with them.
Went there twice and left happy and satisfied twice. Dorena is a really good saleswoman. She is knowledge and very down to earth. Not in an unprofessional way but in a comfortable way to make you feel like family. She did an amazing job convincing my wife to get a 2021 Honda Accord 2.0 Sport. If you go to Lumberton Honda, look for Dorena. They are all cool with you picking your sales person. Also the woman at the front reception desk is really nice and helpful. We spent a while there and she kept checking on us and engaging with us and our son.

Went to this on 8/25/21, and was looking for a used car. The staff was not very personable, and seemed more interested in talking to each other than trying to make a sale. I left after being informed that the car that I was interested in was in the shop. I left and was told that the staff will call me when it’s ready to be viewed; it’s been a few days since then and I have not received a follow up. I expected more from a Honda dealership.
Josh explained features of the odessy well. Had some issues when trying to get the deal finalized. We were trying to discuss options on lowering the monthly payment. At times he was resistant to listen to my wife. In the end, the deal was satisfactory. In the future, please take into account the customers requests and at least be willing to try and satisfy them.
I would first like to Thank Alisha, Mgr, and Tyler, salesman for amazing customer service. Tyler was very knowledgeable about all the cars I drove, I was quite impressed by his knowledge. Although he is new to Lumberton Honda his attitude, go getter spirit, knowledge, and personality made me want to by the car. I went through the website and booked an appointment for a vehicle I had found. Put all of my information in including my trade and was called to confirm my appointment. I drove 45 minutes to the dealership only to find that the particular car I wanted wasnt even on the lot and it was actually in Texas. Tried to get me to pick something else from their lot. Website totally misleading and wasted 2 hours of my morning. Also nothing like 10-12 sales folks outside like vultures. My sales rep also stated its all about the payment right? Persistent and pushy. Well no, folks that happen to do their research know that that is a trap. I didnt feel comfortable here.
We had a great experience at Lumberton Honda. Blaze was with us from beginning to end, going above & beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He was attentive, polite, & knowledgeable. Every person we encountered did everything they could to make the process smooth. From Tyrone to Alicia, Tonia, and Mr. Pittman..we were beyond satisfied with the service we received. This was our second purchase with Lumberton Honda, and we will continue to shop here because of the exemplary service and friendly associates.
I bought a used Honda from there. Two months later all the lights on the dashboard are on. I guess they rigged the car up good enough to sell it. Because Im sure if the lights came on two months later they was on when I purchased it. Not to mention all the hell I went thru to get the car. Bad business.

Bought a 2019 civic with 14,000 miles. Sticker price was over $26k. Car was like new. Sales person was great but management seemed a bit shady. Anyway, the day after we purchased we discovered that the owners manual was not in the car. The car has a lot of options and automatic functions, so we called the dealership and asked for a manual. They said since we already bought the car we can purchase one for $40. Just know that if you come here, once you drive away, dont expect anything from them. Now one of the automatic functions almost caused us to crash. We will be purchasing our next car in a few months and DEFINITELY not be at this dealership. To cheap to include a $40 manual with a $30,000 car.
Deals are bad here and so are the options.. they are only worried about new cars not used. Trying to refinance? Forget it, it’s even worst bc that means less money they make unless you put money down on it. They only care to listen if you give them more than what they are asking, I won’t come back here I’d advise looking elsewhere.
Bought my second car and I can say they were very friendly and informative about features and models. The lot was clean and even the garage was impressive. Loved being treated like a person and not a dollar sign which was a previous experience Ive had with other dealerships. The rates and deals offered were definitely a plus and I wasnt as nervous signing my name in the hot box. The wait wasnt as long as other places Ive been a buyer at and they kept me updated and informed on who was dealing with what and who I need to see later when my car needs maintenance. 10stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
We were traveling to Charleston and the A/C started to lose its effectiveness. I called the service department and they were very accommodating and said it would probably be an hour. It was an hour and a half and we were very happy with the customer service! I don’t have that kind of luck in my home town with the Honda dealership!

I can’t recommend the team here enough. My CRV broke down on my way to Charleston for vacation. I called Fullerton Honda and they had a tow over to me within 20 minutes. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and arranged for the repair to be done ASAP. They helped me secure a rental car so I continue on my way to my vacation (and pickup my car on my way home). The service manager personally drove me (and all my stuff) to pick up the rental car. Truly above and beyond!I haven’t experienced custom service this outstanding in a long time… possibly ever. They made an incredibly stressful situation as painless as possible, and were incredibly nice and attentive through it all. It’s nerve wracking to breakdown while traveling alone as a single female, but they treated me like family. Would absolutely recommend. Special shout-out to Jennifer (I hope I spelled that right), who is truly a gem of a human and leads and great team.
Jennifer Michell in the service center is rude as hell. She needs a new job because she obviously hates the one she has. Lumberton Honda loves to sell cars to make their money but lies about the used cars they sell. My tire gauge was on when I bought my vehicle, when I mentioned it to them it was because it has been sitting up. Later on I found out there was a nail in the side wall.Thanks Lumberton Honda!

Very shady business. I had the pleasure of working with Eric. Although he is a great fit personality wise for the job, the salesmen are deceitful. If I tell you what I’m looking to spend and you don’t have it, it’s ok I can accept that. What I can not accept is manipulation. When we first arrived I asked the value of a few cars. Eric claimed he had NO IDEA. I then advise him our price rage for a vehicle. HE DID NOT AND WOULD NOT GIVE ME A PRICE ON ANYTHING UNTIL HE RAN MY CREDIT, and at that point it was still out of our price range. Not that he cares that it will drop a few points. He knew what we were looking for but tried to pressure us once he ran the credit report and got all the numbers together. Eric could have saved his and our time with a simple no. I deserve to make my own informed decision, independently, and all my questions to be answered.
Had a few issues with the service department however Mr. Kent Locklear went over and beyond to make up for the bad experience! I appreciate you Mr. K Locklear and thank you for all that you do!

The service department has been a total nightmare. I bought a brand new pilot and the wireless charger has never worked. I have immediately contacted the sales person and I was told that I would be contacted about it with a resolution, that never happen. So I brought the car in and I was told after a long wait that it was a Saturday and nothing could be done for me. So I was schedule for the following Saturday, but I had to reschedule for the following Saturday because I am currently out of state and after driving 4 hours each way I was told that on Saturday nobody can do anything for me. On top of the the front panel of the car goes off, the android auto is on and off constantly. And the service department was absolutely rude.

My family and I had a flashing check engine light come on in our Odyssey and it started acting weird while heading back to Atlanta, so we stopped here for help. We stopped at 3:00 on a Saturday. They managed to check out the problem (bad spark plugs) and fix it before closing at 4:00. We are extremely thankful for that, because otherwise we’d have had to get a hotel for two nights and miss work Monday. Definitely worth the money to be back on the road!
I went to get an inspection on my 2019 honda accord. While I was waited started looking at the SUV honda pilot. A nice young man came out and introduced himself. Took car for a drive and I like it. So we talk and got me approved for a new honda pilot.

First of all, I had no intentions of purchasing a vehicle today. I was just browsing through different dealerships and Lumberton Honda was my last stop before heading home. However, as I was leaving, walking across the parking lot was a young salesman, Tyler Lawson. I asked about their used Odyssey and he pointed one out for me to look at and take for a test drive the rest is history. Thanks to Tyler and Anthony, Finance Dept, for their help I think well going to enjoy our new Odyssey.
Shawn was awesome. He had his daughters dance recital to attend, so he had Aayliah help us out when he had to leave. He checked in to see how things were going when he returned. All n all not a bad experience but I am disappointed that we were denied for the referral program.
I am always happy with Honda. These people are friendly, helpful and ready to sell cars. Between my dad and me we have gotten 5 cars from them and still recommend them to others. I’m very sure that I’ll be returning when I’m ready for another one.

Our experience at Lumberton Honda way exceeded our expectations. We drove 2 hours to get our new truck because the local dealers didnt have the one we wanted. The premises followed all COVID protocols. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our salesperson, Jason Blaze was absolutely amazing. He knows those cars inside and out, made sure we knew how everything works and has a great personality. This had to be the most enjoyable car buying experience we have ever had. They are definitely worth the trip to purchase a new vehicle!

Avoid Lumberton Honda at all cost. These people are a joke. Went in there Saturday looking for a used car. Immediately said the criteria SUV, dark interior, backup cam, no older than 2015, no more than between 250 and 350 a month I informed them I have a car lined up on an online dealership but my husband wanted me to try a physical dealership. The first hour and a half the salesman tried to convince me to agree to a vehicle almost 2x the monthly payments I asked for because your credit says you can afford it then he brings out another 2021 that he said he can get in my range. I agreed at that time it was closing and banks werent available anymore but maam I will call you Monday morning with the information. 3pm Monday I call them was left on hold for an hour. Called back was told Josh would call me back little over an hour later he did and said he would figure out what is going on and call me back in 15 mins. At 5 till 8 I called and talked to two managers who said oh we were just to busy to call you. Mind you when I was there Saturday there were tons of employees gathered in the showroom the whole time doing nothing but cutting up. Never ever again. Oh and because they wasted so much of my time I lost the car on the online site and now have to start over. Pathetic and ridiculous. I will be reporting them to BBB and everywhere else...
Jay our sells worker was very polite attentive and helped us though the process and made it as stress free as possible. Also Anthony did a great job in lower the monthly payments for me. Overall awesome experience will be back.

The selection of cars on the lot was extensive and when we told her what we wanted she took us there effortlessly; showing us the different trims. Genuinely the worst experience of my life. I went in and a salesman saw my rainbow wristband and asked if I was gay. I told him yes and he spat in my face saying they don’t sell cars to queers. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

It took to long I was there 6 hrs. The sales person needed more help. I wanted to think on the car but I felt pressure of getting the car. My brother went a yr ago with bad credit with no money down. He got a deal. I didnt. They told me I could go back and get something else but they lied again. Never will I go back there..
