I just want to take a minuteTo rate my experience at three county Volkswagen. As you can see I gave it 5 stars.This was a very smooth process from beginning to end. More specifically I would like to give a high praise to my salesman Matt. Not only was extremely genuine and a gentleman But also a true professional. I did not want to walk in at 6:00pm on a Wednesday night intent on leaving there with a deal on a vehicle, but the more time I spent talking to Matt about my situation at the time the more inclined I became. His experience of knowledge in auto sales was far superior to that of the sales man that I encountered at other local dealerships. His approach is quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him at all! Matt Found a way to make it work in my favor and I couldn’t have asked for much more than that not only did I get to leave three County Volkswagen with a brand new atlas,But I also left with my dignity still intact. Bad service. Paint was chipping off my door handles. They told me they cant do anything about that. They said i painted or vinyl wrapped handles? I never touch handles with no paint or vynil. Unprofessional. Especially Matt and Greg. I have to call Volkswagen directly about this.

Id like to say that my experience with three County Volkswagen was exceptional. Two thumbs up for the salesman Matt. Amazing guy and definitely knows what he is talking about with the cara at Volkswagen. Laid back and tries his best so that as a customer you come out winning. Made an oil change appointment same day on a Saturday. They had all my information because I am a repeat customer. Sometimes when you bring your car to a dealer for a regular oil change they try to upsell by finding things wrong and they say that valid coupons have stipulations. Not this time. I came back to a coupon already applied, the car was ready when promised, their was none of the usual upsell attempts, and I received a car wash coupon for the place down the street. Im glad I came to Three County Volkswagen and doing things right earns my business next time.

This place is absolutely horrible!! I have never been to such a terrible dealership & repair center. Not only are the employees rude, do not return phone calls, and make you wait for 30 minutes just to check in even though you had a scheduled appointment time they also left our car in the shop for a week with no communication of what was going on. They need to fix their customer service! After our first horrible visit we thought we would never go back... but the work quality was worse than we could have imagined!!! We paid a tremendous amount of money and after a week of service in the shop you would think the vehicle would be fixed, but it was not because they did not fix the correct part. We have been in the process of getting our AC fixed for over three weeks!! Never experienced anything like this and I encourage everyone to find a different repair shop!!

Went in to check a car out and see what I’d get for my trade. Within a short time, I was signing the paperwork on my new car. They gave me more for my trade and the process was the most painless dealer experience ever. Highly recommend. Kris was my salesman and was great to work with.

My Jetta had an emergency check engine light go on....with a quick stop at Three County Volkswagen, this situation was easily resolved. Their customer service and workmanship is always professional and greatly appreciated!

Pretty bad technicians and manager. They dont listen to your problems and keep the car for whole day and do nothing. Despite of sharing the problem they say all is good when they didnt even check why its happening and directly say contact Manufacturer for this issue.

This dealer fraudulently charged me for 60,000 mile service. I say this because my oil lamp light came on and battery died within 2 weeks of the visit. Great sales people but the service here is atrocious and ownership is just as bad.The service manager Matt became irate with me when I explained the situation and told him that I should not be paying for services on 2 different visits when all of this should have been covered during the 60,000 mile visit the month prior. Normally when you go in for a visit that takes 9 hours, you would expect them to catch all of this. He even slammed his fist down on the desk and had the nerve to yell that I will not be getting any more services from them.I would not advise anyone buy or seek services from this business. Management is horrible and incompetent or will get you to pay for services that they will never perform. Still waiting for upper management at Volkswagen/Three County to respond to my email, voicemail, calls. NOTHING AS OF YET

The place is very bad to fix your car. These guys don’t even know what the car needs to have changed or need to have fixed… and I think that these guys don’t even know each other. This dealer is the most ridiculous dealer ever they are going to make you wait 2 months to get your car fixed and the ownership is ridiculous he doesn’t even come to talk to the phone when you ask to talk to him because his manager and his workers don’t even know what they are doing or why they are working there. So, with not to much words what I’m saying is if you go there you are going to need to rent a car for 2 to 3 months or buy another one and forget about the car you left to them.

The one and only star is for our salesman but unfortunately first and last time I do business with this place. Leased a vehicle two years later interior ROTTED. Friday: they tell my wife parts won’t be in for a week and that this car should never have left the lot at delivery and they apologized…ok its odd... We didn’t drive the car all weekend because stench of mold got stronger …literally can smell it twenty feet away. Monday: drop it off we cant drive this the stench even stayed on our clothing….they had no loaners(time of SALE they said any issues we have LOANER cars for our customers). When I asked if they would compensate our rental because they said they had NO LOANERS to give us… both service and business managers told me that’s not our problem take up with VW ….WE CANT HELP YOU.

After changing the battery we had windows sync issue and I took my son’s Eos to Three County Volkswagen, asked them to reset the code. After 3 hours they called me to give me the list of parts related to windows needs to be changed and cost was $1700 😂.I’ve asked them numerous of times “ did you reset the code?” They lied to me with saying resetting code didn’t do anything we need to change buttons and couple of other things in order be repaired. I’ve talked to the manager and he said the same-thing. I asked them not to do anything I’ll pickup the car. When I picked up the car, windows were working perfectly and convertible roof top had no mechanical issues. Watching couple of YouTube videos about the problem saved me $1700. -$130 diagnostic fee. If you don’t know anything about your car’s problem type the issue on YouTube and findout what could be wrong then take it to mechanic shop you know. I would not recommend three county Volkswagen service department to anyone.

Went in for routine service and noise from turbo. Paid the diagnosis fee like $140. Told them specifically where it was coming from. Got the car back, turbo was still making noise. The service manager Greg and tech came out. I replicated the noise to them again. They told me nothing could be done, not throwing codes yet and that the noise was normal. Literally was not making noise few days ago. Its not normal. Got a 2nd opinion from Douglas VW in Summit. You guys missed out on a $3k turbo replacement. Good job. Emailed 3 County VW to try and get my diagnosis fee back. Never responded. Will dispute w my CC.

It took 6 hours to do a check engine light service. Price $140 The Customer Service Manager (Greg Deodorant) was very inexperienced and confirmed verbally in front of all the customers that the intention of a dealership is always to cheat their customers and that if you don’t have money you better go to a different place. Don’t bring your car here they are scammers.

Please refrain from coming to this dealer, (there are a few people who work here who are good, this isnt directed toward them!) but it is such a shame to see this dealer treat customers this way. Not honoring their word, especially when this part on our car was fixed, cost over $3,500 and suddenly has to be replaced again on an automatic transmission (we dont even put it into stick), not only should it have been covered the first time but the second time too, it makes you wonder if its faulty craftsmanship? Then gave us a phone all after not getting in touch with us for months, saying that we dont answer your calls and you are going to start charging us for storage fees because its been too long after we tried multiple times calling and getting no response back or updates on the car. Horrible way to run a dealer, I feel bad for the people who do work there who mean well and have good intentions.

Amazing I went in to switch from leasing to finance and walked out with a 21 Jetta more mileage and convenience . Yvonne and his team only took 20 mins with different offers and never thought I would be signing papers . Thanks so much

These guys are seriously grimey. I called up and told Dino I wanted to buy a car for my daughters fifteenth birthday so she and her friends could drink and drive themselves around. I wanted to test his moral compass before trying to buy anything. Dino said he understood and recommended a Jetta for my (underage) daughters bar hopping escapades. Complete and utter low-life. I wouldnt buy a soda from these Lyndhurst mutts.

After having poor experiences w/ Joe Heidt VW in Ramsey, and Douglas VW, I decided to take my car here to see what was wrong w/ my horn. Even though I didnt have them fix the horn and only paid for the diagnosis, they were pretty nice and honest. When I was there, they seemed to treat their customers nicely given that we are in the middle of a global pandemic and dealerships are losing a ton of money. That kind of resolve to be in a not great financial situation, but still treat the customers with honesty and kindness means a lot. Not to mention, they have a shuttle which took me to my office after I dropped my car off. Ill be back here for sure!

Will never come to this dealership again...... i want my money back... this morning i brought my car to three county VW the key was stuck in the ignition i Bought a ignition lock housing, from them this morning and i had the key cylinder and ignition switch already i asked the service advisor how much it was going to cost me he said 3 hours of labor.. i pick up my car at 3 and he proceeds to tell me that my car chimes as if the key were still in the ignition and i got suspicious so i went inside and asked for my old parts back and what do u know the ignition lock housing was never replaced i spoke to the service manager and he tells me well how do you know that one isnt also the revised part mean while my key is hard to turn to the on position and the steering wheel lock doesnt work because of course its the old housing in there all they replaced was the key cylinder and the ignition switch...... which can be done in a half hour. what gave it away was the fact the tech took the old ignition switch out and put the new one in which doesnt make sense because i purchased a new one to be used with the new ignition lock housing i have the pictures and will post... im holding the new one on the bottom.... and the old one on top... old part number 1k0-905-851 new part number ik0 905 851 B...... I ended buying all the parts again this time I went to jack daniels vw.... I ended up doing it myself took me less than 45 minutes while 3 county charged me 3 hours long story short the car is working perfectly fine no thanks to them.. called about getting a refund and they told me no I’m taking this now to consumer affairs with all my receipts

Very disappointed!!! Never take your car to this service! I dropped my 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid for diagnostic paid $260 and no results. Service manager Matt told me that he needs another 5 hours to find out the problem and still cant guarantee that will find a problem. At the end I got my car back with a lot of parts apart laying in the trunk. Never ever will call this dealership. Too bad for VW reputation!!!

What a terrible custom service! The lady who answered the phone was sooooo rude and ignorant.

Service was not done in a timely manner. I called for a vehicle recall that should take 1 hour to fix and an oil change. The lady on the phone said since they are down to 3 mechanics, she would rather schedule me a little far ahead so that I wouldn’t wait for long and she had recommended that I would leave my car just in case it takes longer than an hour and I was fine with it.Dropped my car off at 10 am and I came at 4:20 PM and my car is still not done. That’s 6 hours for a 1 hour recall and an oil change.It would have been better if they called and re-scheduled my appointment instead of holding my car for 6+ hours not allowing me to get to other appointments I had later that day.

They actually deserve less than one star for being rude and neglectful. I’ve been going to this VW dealer since 2015 with multiple leases. The customer service has changed for the worst over the past 2 years. When I went back to lease another vehicle the sales reps are absolutely great to work with because they are taking your money; however, once they have you sign and commit, they can care less about you. The service Department is deplorable, just as the management in the place. They are unprofessional and arrogant and will not respond to issues and concerns. After years of my committed loyalty to Three County VW with great joy I am taking my business elsewhere.

This is the worst repair shop I’ve ever been too. They only want your money and if you have a warranty that covers your needs, they don’t want to fix it. They are unprofessional and don’t communicate well with customers. I would not recommend.

Horrible customer service. I called this dealer today and had to call three times throughout the day to speak with anyone from the sales team. The man who finally answered was beyond rude and completely uninterested in answering my questions, evading basic questions I tried asking. And I was about to drive over there and pay cash for the car and take it home! Youd think theyd be interested in selling! Would much rather take my business elsewhere.

From Service desk to labor garage and parts, their staff is thorough, friendly (even on days with unexpected walk-ins and a full waiting room) and courteous. They are not only knowledgeable but help me to understand car language. They are accommodating, plan realistically, keep communication open / updated and follow through even on the details. I have recommended them over the years and will continue to do so.

I’ve been going to this VW dealer since 2003 with multiple purchases. To say the least the customer service has changed over the past decade. I came back to purchase another vehicle and the sales rep Dino was absolutely great to work with. I would recommend him to anyone, however the finance rep named Joe had ruined Dino’s sale for him. His unprofessionalism and arrogance is absolutely unacceptable. After 17 years of my committed loyalty to Three County VW with regret am taking my business elsewhere.

First I would like to say STAY AWAY FROM THUS DEALER AND ITS the most terrible place I have ever been to. I purchased a car from here, don’t get me wrong the car is great. I had 0 issues with the car, what I don’t like is the fact that I was lied to. I was told my car total one was price then on my credit report I see a higher amount. They didn’t provide me with a BILL OF SALE, and anyone who knows about financing would know by law they have to give you a bill of sale that is itemized one by one with each price on the documents. THEY DID NOT PROVIDE ME WITH ALL L MY DOCUMENTS WHEN I LEFT as well. I had the guy Jose aponte tell me well if u pay me cash for my commission I can lower your payment for your car. Obviously he lied, the payment mount was high and my credit score is good. SO MANY HIDDEN FEES I ACTUALLY CALCULATED EVERY THING MYSELF AND THEY BASICALLY CHARGER ME 5080.00 extra. I hope you guys read this because this is the truth. I should have read reviews on this place before.

The worst service I ever needed to do. I took my car to repair the broken glass, in addition they scratched the leather seat, they also scratched the dashboard and now They dont want to repair the damage. The manager is really rude. Dont leave your car in those hands.

Its not a very large dealership but they treat you like family. Great service quick turnaround on repair. They explain everything very clearly also they have shuttle service and loaner car. Those are things you usually see and much larger dealerships.

This dealership is exceptional. I failed to write a review back in March of 2014 so this is a review based on a somewhat extended relationship with this VW dealership. Purchased a used car in March, I dealt with Dino and Joe... Both great guys. Even though it was 6 PM on a Saturday they did not rush me and they went back and forth until almost 10 PM to make sure I had everything I needed. There were some minor issues with the vehicle and I had to make two visits to the service department, Matt is absolutely the most professional adviser there is. He will explain everything and anything that the car may need done and he will make sure the techs get it done right the first time. Waiting area is clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and the car wash they use is the best in the area. During my most recent visit to service I couldnt help but fall in love with one of the vehicles on the showroom. Six hours later, it was in my driveway. Dino and Joe made it happen again. Two successful buying experiences within a year. I am glad I gave Volkswagen a chance after two failed attempts at liking German brands and I am even more happy with Three County. Highly recommended.

Weve been going here for years now to get our Jetta serviced. They always do an amazing job, have up front pricing, and do such an amazing job communicating with us while the car is being serviced. I highly recommend this place!

I called and dropped my car off the same day and Three County VW did a good job with the oil change and the Pothole Recovery special. I like the way the car feels after the alignment. It feels solid and grounded and I love that the car gets washed after the job is done. Also, I took advantage of the shuttle service. It is a big plus to be able to drop off the car and have someone take you back to work and pick you up when the car is ready.

I recently bought an new atlas at this great place, after shopping around for a long time, looking for the best price and the best deal, with a very good credit, I went to three county vw and wow such an amazing experience, from the beginning to the end, my salesman name was Dino, great personality help me look for what was best for my taste and my family !!!! I compared prices from 5 different other dealerships and this was the best price with warranty, gap insurance, and tire wheal protection. I felt safe and well taken care of, I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family !!!!

Im very conflicted about my feelings towards the service I received here. At first the salesman was very kind and was straight forward, but when it came down to the price everything changed. They knew that I wanted to walk out with the car but the price they were giving me would put four grand extra in their pocket and I was not accepting that. After all that was said and done then the salesman became more friendly again. My warning is that you do the math before going in.

Retail business nowadays always talk about customer experience. Three County Volkswagen provides great customer experience! We always come back to Three County for all our service and for a VW every time. I highly recommend this place.

I just recently leased a 2017 Passat from this dealership which Im very pleased I did. The whole sales force worked with me in getting the monthly payment where I was comfortable with. I expressed concerns on the mileage allocated each year and management worked with me to get 15,000 miles per year on my lease agreement. If your in the market to buy or lease a car, ask for Scott and the rest of his staff and they will give you a stress free experience in getting you into your next vehicle.

This is my second time using TCVW and they did not disappoint. Things I really like about them: they test drive the car before returning it, and give it a good detail too!I havent had to return it for repeat work (I have had brakes done, clutch inspected, bearings replaced, and some more minor things). I also have a non-manufacturers warranty through Endurance, which has cut my cost down quite a bit.

I recommend you stay away from dealership, listed prices are a way to lure you to the dealership. Close to $900 in extra fees once you get there, also, online prices in my experience requires financing through a special financer and wanted to charge me to put cash. First impression seemed very sketchy, some my be ok with this, I would stay away.

Sales Person wasnt a help at all. Being my credit wasnt that great didnt even want to help me at all. Just said my payments would be up there well help me and let me make the call not him. The lost a sale for sure .! Went to Toyota on RT 46 and bought a used VW bug from them and was treated better.

I am Used Car Dealer who deals with many different service advisors, I called threes county Volkswagen and was lucky enough to get a great service advisor on the phone to assist me with an issue I was having with my vehicle. The day of my appointment I met him in person and was very pleased to deal with someone who is extremely professional and courteous. If you own a VW instead of going to a quick lube place youre better off going here...theyll give you the Mfr. recommended oil for the same price or cheaper than other places and you get a free hand car wash ... plus they have shuttle and loaner car services... Greg took very good care of me also with some parts I bought previous to my car service ...very pleased 👌

Got my 2018 Atlas at Three County VW a few weeks ago and it was the best car buying experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle at a dealership. Joe Bulna and Dino made the process super easy and got me a great deal. Highly recommended.

Stay away from this dealer, the salesman lied to me so bad that I return the car back. So I brought a 2016 Hyundai Genesis from this dealer on September 30, 2019. A week after it shows up on my credit karma for more that what the salesman told me. The final price includes all the taxes on documents feels paperwork was $27,000. But instead they sold me the car for $31,900, $4,900 more than what the salesman told me with 54,000 miles, 4 owner on 1 accident reported, I took the car back to the dealer and told them that I don’t want anymore, because the salesman lied to me, and added extra warranty for extra money and also added warranty on rims on tire. They didn’t provide me with any documents about what am paying for, nothing about the warranty, so I left both keys on the salesman desk and told them that I don’t won’t the car and left

The staff were professional, courteous and informed. Our car is still under warranty and was in for service for a few minor issues. Even though we are not likely to purchase another vehicle for some time, the service levels were fined tuned to ensure a return customer, referral business or both. Truly a perfect first experience. I dont anticipate needing service often, but we will definitely use TC for future maintenance and when we are ready to replace our older vehicle, TC will be the place we purchase.

I am so happy I leased my first new car at Three County Volkswagen! My husband and I just love the customer service- the entire staff is so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everyone there really made the process so easy and enjoyable. We are so happy we became part of the Three County Family! (And they give you a really cool keychain!)

Imagine signing a contract for one thing, which I had a copy of...and them telling you they have something totally different on file...and NEVER able to show you said paperwork. I heard someone else there complaining about the same thing. I decided to end my term with them and walk away. Thank goodness I never have to deal with them again. This excludes the service center. Shout out to Toni was always super helpful.

What a great team. I always get my cars from here I have purchased two car from this company and am always pleased with how I am treated. Took my Passat for an oil change and a recall. They gave me a a brand new loaner at no charge and I was able to get right back to work without losing any time on my busy day (Friday). I enjoyed it for the weekend and my car was ready on Monday. Unfortunately i couldn’t make it on Monday to pick up my car but they didn’t make a big deal about it. I picked my car up on Tuesday and wasn’t hit with any surprises. Needless to say I was very pleased.

Quick and friendly

So we went to buy the Toyota Prius, last night and wanted to do a cash deal. Obviously we did not tell the dealership we are going to buy the vehicle outright without a loan.Once the dealership knew about it, they wanted us to pay interest, minimum of 4 months if we brought the vehicle with cash. Never heard of that before. This dealership is a scam

I have been impressed with three county since I bought my wifes passat there about 2 years ago. The sales experience was incredible and I was beyond satisfied. I just had my check engine light come on in my GTI, after determining the cause, and that the part may be under extended warranty from Volkswagen, I spoke to Greg the service advisor. He understood the issue and made the entire experience a breeze. He stayed in contact with me, got the job completed under warranty, and I couldnt be more satisfied. I will not buy my cars or service them like this anywhere else. They are simply the best.

Pleasant service in a modest office with no-frills pricing for the consumer looking for a capable German car and a good deal for the wallet. The paperwork at the end is tedious and time consuming, but at least theyve got a portion of it automated to a few taps on an iPad.

Stopped here with my bestie so she could buy a new car. She wasnt sure what she wanted but had an idea of an SUV. Dino was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable, especially about the Volkswagon Tiguan! We did however, end up going elsewhere but he followed up with a couple of phone calls to make sure she found something. Thanks for the good customer service!

Brought my GTI in for its 20k mile service. They gave me a ride to work (and offered to pick me up) even though I didnt lease from them. Service was completed quickly and was all good. I had them check my alignment, and they were honest and told me it was fine, so I didnt have to waste my money. Good experience!

I would not recommend this dealer ship, They do not go down the there prices,Every other dealer you can haggle on the pice Also prices listed on the web site are actually higher when you get there. The manager told me that the prices on there website always wrong What? Really? WOW.

This is our second car from Three County. Aside from a great selection, the staff is courteous, eager-to-please, and aim for your complete satisfaction. Also - go on their web site if you are looking for a car -- Three Countys web site has a great feature -- they include the Carfax link for their previously-owned vehicles. How honest and upfront is that. And we cant forget the Service Dept - they keep you informed on the status of your vehicle. Would I recommend Three County - YES. Would I go back again - YES. After having my first car (Toyota Corolla) for over 13 years it was time to give her up and upgrade. Found my new Volkswagen online and everything else was a breeze. This is for the people who are writing a good reviews just wait for the warranty to expire and the prepaid service to end and look to the transformations when they start recommending repairs that you do not need I have been dealing with them for 9 years and declined every recommendation or was going there only because the oil change was cheaper, that was there way to bring you in so start the drama to replace stuff in there dealership

All I can say is that this dealership makes it difficult for u to walk away..... Which means that the sales force will go out of their way to be accomodating. Ive leased vehicles for over 20yrs, and from pulli g into the parking lot, I was immediately greeted by James, who for the entire process was upfront, honest, and shot straight.I honestly appteciated that the most. While i may have been a bit of a tough customer, the sales manager was easy to work with and i was out of there in under 2hrs with a new ride.THANK YOU THREE COUNTY VW

Ive been going here for years now, an only get the top of the line customer service when I need parts for my car. Which is a Frankenstein. Different motor, trans, trim. Only thing original is the paint. Anybody that knows a custom car knows its a real pain to find parts and the correct ones at that. Frank and Lorian over in parts are relentless when searching for parts and to try an help u out always, they are kind an are very professional. Highly recommended

Subsequent to my prior review I brought my 2018 Passat in for another service and once again was extremely satisfied. Matt, Greg, Cassandra and Toni are the reason I am a return Volkswagen buyer. There are none better than them. I have never trusted a dealership more and I have visited many during my lifetime. Every job and every transaction is perfect.Prior Review:Three County Volkswagen dealership treats me as a customer should be treated. They are sensitive to my time and even offer a shuttle service so you can wait from home. They take a personal interest in keeping my car running well and safe on the road. Matt and Greg excel as Service Managers and there are no finer office personnel than Cassandra and Toni. My Passat is 13 years old and running well. Much of the credit goes to their fine team of mechanics. When I am ready to purchase a new car I will be very reluctant to purchase anywhere else but Three County because of the people who work in this dealership.

The experience we had with Three County VW was a great one. We came looking for options for our big family and came out with the Atlass SE. Once we got to VW, José Aponte treated us with respect and looking forward to fulfilled our necessities. We definitely recommend both Three County VW and José Aponte.

I would not recommend this place for your car service. It is my first time here for oil change. It usually takes no more then 20-30 min for oil change along with waiting time for other locations. But at this location I have waited to get my car back for more then 2 hrs. I don’t think I would go back there again.
