Bert Maxwell carries quality furniture; not that stuff that comes from China. He doesnt have that nice modern big showroom like some of the big name stores. He does carry a large variety of furniture at competitive prices.

I have done business with bert Maxwell over the years and just recently, service and there furniture are excellent.

We have been furniture shopping for a couple months. We were confused and undecided and the longer we looked the worse it got. On a whim we popped in Burt Maxwell. We were greeted immediately. We explained what we were looking for and although they didn’t have it on the floor, we were shown comparable pieces. We looked at a lot and we asked SO MANY questions. We were able to custom order exactly what we wanted. The price was very competitive! I would definitely recommend Bert Maxwell Furniture.

Excellent sales staff and customer service. The Sales Associate that worked with me (Charlotte) was very helpful assisting me with a special order for three recliners. The price was very reasonable and I didnt feel pressured to buy. It was a welcome relief from dealing with some of the big chain store furniture stores. Bert Maxwell Furniture will be the first place I go to from now on whenever I need to purchase another piece of furniture.

My husband and I were enjoying the downtown area of Macon. We are in the process of buying new furniture. We came across this establishment and decided to take a look. There was a Caucasian lady sitting at a desk, she looked up at us and did not greet us at all. She had the nastiest expression on her face. She got up from the desk and stood behind something and kept gazing at us like we were dirty. By the way, we were the only customers in this store. When Im not greeted after a while I felt my business was not needed. I would expect that type of treatment at Walmart where its thousands of people, not in small town store. She doesnt know what kind of money we were trying to spend but Ill take my business to Ashley furniture. This is 2019 not 1969. Then she waited until we were walking out to ask if we needed any help...SMDH!!! I wish I could have put no stars but you have to put one to make this post.
