Came into my local Verizon store to upgrade my phone and left phenomenally disappointed (three times). On trip one I sat with Richie who seems very helpful and knowledgeable, I can attest to this as he helped multiple clients while half paying attention to me as I sat across from him. He filled me in on an Apple Watch promotion where I would get $100 if purchasing with my upgrade (sounded like a great deal). I left the store and went home while my phone to phone transfer took place.About 45 minutes later I was told my phone was ready, I drove back down to the store to learn that they thought I was someone else, and to come back in an hour or so….Two hours later I came back to the store to collect the items I purchased. With no explanation around the set up of the phone the new rep I was dealing with sent me on my way and told me he would like to help me better understand the phone but “he’s only been here for a month”. Which is fine I went home and logged into MyVerizon to see what the charges actually were and what I can expect. To my surprise a new line was opened for me under the Apple Watch and the Watch I was told was $234 was actually $359.99.I drove back to the store to return the Apple Watch and close the line and the gentleman working the desk told me he could not accept returns as he is not a manager. I was surprised by this and asked him if he could call his manager, or maybe his managers manager to which he responded “I can’t think of any reason why I would need to know my manager’s managers name”. I was pretty impressed that he thought this was an acceptable answer. I asked him just to explain if I missed something or how this can be rectified and he said “I’ve only been here a month, if you want to make a return come back tomorrow morning”.Hopefully this can be rectified.Thank you.

Richie was incredibly helpful because he is knowledgeable about all the iPhone choices and Verizon plans, and he was patient as we made our decision. He also explained the various options clearly. He even skipped his break to finish helping us! It was an excellent experience at Verizon due to Richie’s professionalism all around.

Joe tried for some time to fix my tricky phone issues and never gave up…even multitasking with a full lobby. I give him a ton of credit. Richie had to step in and figure out the final sticking point and as usual, took care of it brilliantly.

The salespersons main priority was our happiness our new phones. No greedy attempts to get us to buy the most expensive phone or any money grabs. Just trusty, reliable service. I wish every sales person was this customer satisfaction-oriented. we got the best deal that fit our needs.

Richie, in the Madison store, was extremely helpful in setting me up not only with a better Verizon phone plan for our family but also managed to upgrade me to an iPhone 12 Pro at a relatively reasonable cost. Never did I get a sales pitch and not once did I feel pressured to change or buy. However, with his clear explanation of the cost advantages to us in switching to an unlimited data plan, and taking advantage of the $700 credit offered under the new plan towards a superior phone (rather than spending money to replace a cracked screen), I left happy and he made a sale. Clearly a win/win situation. I’ve dealt with other Verizon stores that have tried to convince me to buy products I didn’t want or need but with Richie this most definitely wasn’t the case as he focused only on meeting my specific requirements, not on making a sale at any cost. He was efficient, patient and agreeable throughout the process and he knows his products well. Very pleased with the transaction!

This is the third time I’ve returned for products and service and though I can go to closer Verizon stores I take the extra time to see Richard in Madison. He is professional and knowledgeable about all the little glitches that come up when switching to new devises. He knows all the promos and plans and has helped me with saving money on my bill. I’m a very satisfied Verizon customer.

Go ANYWHERE ELSE. If it were possible to give ZERO stars, I would. I have been in cell phone hell for 5 days because the Verizon guy who set up my phone did it wrong. I’ve spent over 6hrs with Verizon support and been back to the store and it is still not resolved. I can’t receive calls, I get about 25% of my texts and it lost all my voicemails.

Richy is the best. He actually cares about your time and how your transaction turns out. He even goes as far to take care of issues outside of sales when thats not his job! Great store!

We went to Verizon looking for a new phone for my mother, after being told by AT&T we would get a better deal from Verizon! We were greeted by Richie. We switched from Sprint to Verizon. Went to the Madison CT location and met Richard. We had a lot of issues with Sprint’s customer service and cell service. I have several issues with my phone. I went to Old Saybrook. It was a zoo and was unable to help me. Clinton was unable to help me move my pictures. Time to update this review....I was duped. Richard sold me “ Free” iPad and $100 I watch with the phones. No mention of line fees. Now I find I’m stuck with not so free $780 line fees AND equipment charges and he doesn’t return calls now! Very deceptive sales! Buy online, don’t go to this store!!!We purchased two phones at the Verizon in Madison recently and I can easily say that I have not dealt with a more knowledgeable and helpful person than Richard. In my opinion he goes way beyond with service for his customers. I would recommend this store to anyone as long as he is there managing it.

I broke my phone and needed a phone asap for work. Ive never been there but I called, rushed down and Richie stayed late just to make sure I was able to get a working phone that day. He had to pulls some strings but knew the multiple avenues and options to make it happen. He was clear and up front, showed me different options at the same price just incase i wanted to try something new. I’ll definitely be going back there.
