Ben, the owner, replaced all our first floor windows and just completed our 4 season sun porch. He knew all the options for our windows to look similar to our old house wood windows. He worked closely with us to make choices along the way, was patient and responsive. He worked right along with his employees building the sun porch. I greatly appreciate his integrity, knowledge, skills, and extra help (for example helping with recommendation for type of flooring compatible with a 4 season porch). He maintained excellent work safety standards for the construction also considering Covid precautions. He kept us informed along the way, also letting us know when he encountered an unexpected issue that needed to be addressed (and knew how to work with the issue -issues which inevitably show up with an old house-before proceeding to the next step- to assure a good quality foundation for the next step.

Despite our best efforts to analyze prior to the work, when the old door came out, our fears were confirmed -- hidden wood rot beneath the 30+ year old slider. The project went from one day to two, and the crew dove right in to finding an acceptable, affordable, and quality remedy to the rot damage. New rim board, new subfloor where needed, some careful water control with new J channel for the siding, all with the highest quality workmanship.The door, of course, is terrific. Slides like silk, very efficient. It was the last original portal to our home and now that it is upgraded (and repaired) I feel so much better knowing that ClearViews quality work is all around it. Surely it will give us decades of reliable use and, being vinyl and bordered by new aluminum, keep us from having to ever paint around it again.The great work, fair price, and excellent attitude of Ben and Dale Kripps made me bump my original rating from four stars to five. They certainly earned it.Original Post:We opted to go with ClearView for sale and installation of 8 new windows in our house. We had a wonderful overall experience, are very pleased with the product and final installation as well as our customer experience. Our project did have some setbacks, but they were remedied in a professional and responsible manner.The owner, Ben, was very good to work with through the entire process. On our first meeting to discuss manufacturers and features he was incredibly helpful. His knowledge of the window lines he sells is very advanced, and he ensures you are aware of every detail of any product and how it compares to other lines. In addition to his knowledge, Ben is thorough and actively wants to help you shop to your features, budget, and satisfaction. No upselling, and no hard pushing on any given brand, or at all.Their products are all of very good quality, even at the lower end. We opted for the middle ground for various features that appealed to us. In my pricing searches, all of Bens product lines were a little more expensive than the low-, middle-, and high tiers at other retailers, but its obvious that the products he sells at each of those levels are far superior than most options out there. Ben clearly only wants to sell strong, reliable products, so yes, they cost a little more.The installation itself was very reassuring as well. The workmanship was excellent, right down to their almost-unnoticeable caulk beads. The coil wrapping for our aged exterior molding was top-notch and really cleaned up the exterior of our windows. Considering the price of the windows included this quality installation work, it was well worth the extra money.They get high marks for customer satisfaction as well. There were some rough spots in our project, as is wont to happen with any construction. A slight mis-order caused a delay that pushed into colder weather than I had hoped. Nonetheless, Ben was very quick to notify me when the windows arrived at their shop and owned up to the mistake immediately. We were able to come to a mutually satisfactory solution quickly and Ben was very apologetic and appreciative of our compromise and understanding.In all, a great experience, despite the setbacks. I would have preferred no problems at all, but my track record has proven that is very difficult to achieve with any home project. Perhaps its just my luck, but if thats how its going to be Id just as soon be dealing with Ben at ClearView.

Ben was very helpful in picking out Serious windows for our new house. I have bought and installed many windows from Jeldwen, Anderson, and Pella (all of which I was not happy with) and these windows are by far better windows. When looking for windows look and the performance not just the marketing gimics that are out there. I never heard about Serious windows before but their performance speaks for themselves. Look and the numbers and you will also picks Serious windows from Clearview. Thanks Ben.
