I went in search of a thermostat I could use with a regular outlet for my greenhouse. A difficult item to find in our local retail world. Not only did they have more than 1 brand to choose from, they also do had additional features such as A/C and heat, or just heat... And pricing beat Amazon.... I was blown away and very satisfied with my visit.

Found what I needed easily after directions from an employee who was stocking.

Super help!! Found my wire nails quickly, in and out in 5 min. Had to drive from Decatur, but will definately be back. They are the only store that carry my nails that I use for my string art. Super nice people!!

These guys always treat me right. Customer service still exists in this store! Every time I go there an employee asks if they can help me within 2 minutes. And they have several folks walking around to help.Prices are competitive and they typically have what I am looking for. Plus it is always good to support a local, family owned small business instead of the national big box stores.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. They have really good sales on power tools and much better prices on bits and blades and other random things than Home Depot or Lowes. Almost everything Ive went in for Ive got some kind of deal on. They actually had two very specific diamond bits that i could not find in any other store in the area. If Im in the area I always stop here before looking elsewhere.

Ace Hardware has the BEST garden flags that I have found and Ive looked at a lot of stores! They are reasonably priced and hold up great in our weather!

Staff is friendly even if not real focused. Interesting assortment of hardware and impulse items for sale. Often more convenient than big box stores in the area, prices are generally higher and the brands they offer do not seem as good in some categories. I think that is the nitch they target.

I like that I can buy individual screws. Also the only place in town to buy packs of plastic wall anchors withOUT the screws lol. They sell tubing by the foot that Ive seen only in 10 foot packs at big box stores.I bought a propane torch head and PVC/CPVC parts and supplies.Weathers is closer to my home and I dont have to walk a mile inside a big box warehouse to get commonly needed supplies and parts.Weathers is usually not crowded but occasionally there are 2 or 3 people in line to checkout.

This is a well-stocked Ace Hardware! We have gotten a lot of Milwaukee items from here, along with a new Yeti tumbler, Im glad they carry a lot of the colors!!

Ace had a little bit of everything and exactly what we needed. They were even kind enough to order a special stapler that we love using for low voltage wiring. The price was $10 cheaper than anyone else online. The staff was personable and helpful.

Shop here often because of the outstanding customer service. Ahmad, Allen and rest of the staff are very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. More than often, I dont know how to find the right part or solution to my problem - even how to explain the issue I am trying to fix. Thankfully, we have a neighborhood store who knows just what to do to to resolve those pesky problems

Its a little on the small side as compared to some other Ace Hardware stores, but I love to support them when I can. They dont always have what the big blue and big orange box stores have, so sometimes I have to go to them instead. They can be a little pricier, but its worth it because its the closest hardware store to me and they typically have much better customer service.

I have only been to this place a few times but I will say the folks here are very helpful very friendly and provide outstanding customer service. This has been my experience every time Ive been here. They are quick to help out and get you in and out quickly while making sure you have everything you need.

My family and I will never return to this Ace location. My grandmother, aged 85, and I stopped by yesterday to buy a shepherds hook for hanging flower baskets. We were both wearing masks. I didnt realize that the employees werent wearing masks until I needed to look for one to help us get the product down from the rack. After looking for an employee to help us for over 5 min, I finally found an attendant. I was uncomfortable with him being unmasked, but the product was outside and we were planning to buy it and leave ASAP. However, as we headed through the store to get outside, the unmasked attendant kept repeatedly coughing on my grandmother and me. I asked him to put on a mask if he was going to cough on us in the beginning, but he didnt respond. After a few more minutes of his repeated coughing and lack of social distancing, I more firmly repeated my request for him to wear a mask if he was going to keep coughing on us. He said that he was coughing bc he just ate something, and said, its not about covid. Obviously though, many people wont be able to know if theyre infected with covid either in the early stages or if they are asymptomatic. I was frustrated by his unprofessionalism, so after we paid I informed the cashier (who was unmasked by at least staying behind the counters plastic shield and not coughing on everyone) that we would never come back bc of that employee. He just had a blank stare on his face, obviously did not care about my safety concerns for myself and my ELDERLY grandmother, and just said something like, okay, have a good day. So, only go to this Ace location if youre in the market for an infection and an employees spit droplets all over you. Im disgusted by the lack of hygiene, respect, and human decency.

Ive purchased paint, plants, screws, plumbing supplies, adhesive... You name it! The people there have always been very nice and helpful. I usually go here first now before trying Lowes or Home Depot. Its a small store but well stocked.

I love my Ace Hardware in Grovetown GA. I guess Im spoiled. This Ace does not even know what a gift receipt is let alone give them out. I had to put back an $80 item I was buying for a Christmas present since they only have a 30 return policy and Christmas is over 30 days away. Unfortunately I will probably go to Home Depot or Lowes. I like to support Ace though.

Mediocre service at best in my experience. It’s a convenient option if I already know what I need and how much it cost. Two of the three items I purchased today rang up at a higher price than they were marked on the shelf. After showing the associate the tag on the shelf, the response was that’s the old price and someone just forgot to change it. Other times I’ve been in, the employees just haven’t been much help in finding what I need.

Spent 30 minutes in store and not one employee offered assistance.

Great little hardware store. If you know what you need, you can be back in your car in less than 5 min. This location is super easy to get in and out of, and is rarely crowded.They have a great selection of products. You may be paying a little more than Home Depot, but its well worth it for the convenient location. Will go again.

Not a bad store every employee in there asked me if I needed help. They got good stuff and they have a lot of stuff. One thing I didn’t like is I believe the manager or someone was following me around watching me. I’d look up there he would be standing on the end of the isle. Then he would walk off. I’d go to a different isle and there he was again.

Staff was very helpful, didnt have the size bolt I needed, but I needed a niche size, M12x1.25 in a certain long length.

Easy parking in handicapped spaces. Near doorway, very easy wheelchair access. Several folks in line at cash register, so extra employee opened another register and called me up. I told him I needed 2 sacks of sand and He said he could help and would load it into vehicle. Quick checkout and He immediately went out into the 30 degree weather to load the 2, 50 pound sacks of sand. Easy, quick, friendly, I will be back.

This was my first time at an Ace Hardware store. Ive gotten used to Lowes and Home Depot over the years because that was the only thing that was available to me. Im glad I decided to check out Ace. For most of the things I am usually looking to buy it is a lot easier to find items, as the store is much smaller. I cant complain about the selection either. The people were also plenty happy to help me. The help is nice at Lowes or Home Depot, it can just be tough sometimes running somebody down to help you. Ill definitely go back there in the future.

Paid $19.99 for a drill bit that was placed in the wrong spot due to the areas planogram being reset. So all the other bits had price tags but not this one. It was a 12 bit on a 6 peg. So the price doubled.

I was just there wanted to buy a gas grill. The Weber could not get help. Girl and guy flirting and said dont judge me I am judging you both I had come there to buy a grill and not use a big box store and shop local I am very disappointed

I had a small issue with my grill. Wyatt and Carl were a huge help to me. I was in a full blown panic about a cookout and they went above and beyond to get me what I needed. Awesome store right in the middle of town. I had already stopped in several times before and always received great service. Thanks guys!

I went to the ACE Hardware store on Hughes Rd. in mid-April to have two spare keys made for my motorcycle. I was told they dont stock motorcycle keys, so I would need to get the blanks elsewhere. So I ordered two key blanks online, and took those to the Ace store on April 23. This time the man said they only cut key blanks purchased in their store. The man then agreed that he serves ACE hardware, not their customers.

Most everything you need vs larger stores. Someone is always there to ask if you need help, vs tracking someone down. It really does feel like your neighborhood hardware store.
