My service representative, Ally, was very helpful and professional. It was a very busy evening and she was the only one working. She had several customers come in at once and managed to take care of everyone, while remaining calm and friendly. She did a great job multitasking. . I could not have asked for a better experience. She is a great asset to the company.

I visited the Russell cellular store in magnolia AR 5/20/2021. A young lady named Ashley Barnes assisted me with getting my replacement moto razr activated after the qr code that was sent with the device did not work correctly. It was quite a task. She sat with me and was so very patient during the 1 hr and 45 mins it took us to get the digital sim to activate. The other workers in the store were very pleasent as well. They have a good thing going on there and if ever I have a problem again with my device I sure know that Ashley and the others at Russell cellular in Magnolia will fix me up! Thanks again and it was such a great pleasure to meet all of yall!

After trying to get my daughters’ devices activated through Verizon for nearly a week, they finally sent me to Russell Cellular to get new SIM cards. Sir Charles provided us with AWESOME customer service and fixed us up in about 30 mins. The other representative was also helpful, but I didn’t catch his name. I will definitely be going back if I have any other problems or future service needs.

After moving to this area 5 years ago, I have visited this Verizon retailer several times and have been very satisfied with each outcome. Yesterday was a totally different story. I was filing my service contract away and noticed the Phone Protection recurring charge, down at the bottom of the paperwork... additional $10 per month. She NEVER mentioned this at all. I was purchasing a replacement phone, not an upgrade, not changing my plan AT ALL. I asked how much the phone was and was told I would leave the store paying less than $20. I thought that was a little bit of an odd way to describe the cost, but it never dawned on me that she was not telling me I would ALSO be paying an additional $120 via my monthly phone bill. I am highly disappointed with my experience because I feel I was deceived by her not allowing me an option to refuse the optional protection offer, nor being up front about the cost of the phone. Yes, its my fault for not being cautious with what I was signing, but I never had cause to be doubtful in the past as Ive always been completely informed. BAD decision on my part. Yes, I spoke to the lady about my issues, and asked to speak to her manager. Turns out she IS the manager. So I contacted Verizon Customer Service via phone. Please note, my complaint is NOT with Verizon, but with the employee at this particular location. Deceitful would be my description. And after speaking with her directly, the untruthful way she responded to me has caused me to write this review.

The employees here are very helpful, but like most of the other Russell cellular stores, there isnt much they can do without calling customer service or another department to get exactly what you need. They still help you get what you need, even if it does take a little longer than you may have.

I bought the Galaxy Note 9 here. I paid for it in full. She asked me for my phone number and called Verizon to ok the purchase. I presumed that she had the phone activated but when I got home I had to go online to Verizon and the Chat person helped me to activate it. Really? I bought a $1000 phone and they didnt even help me activate it?

When you make a purchase at Russell Cellular they place your number on a list and will frequently send you text messages about their promotions and such sometimes multiple times a day. You cannot unsubscribe from these messages. No texting stop, no calling the store, its awful.
