Love all the hair options

The store is under new management finally!The prices are being fixed they have a sale going on the hair,wigs,products etc... its coming together.It was messy over priced there working on it.Its much nicer and its nice to finally see products and it being cleaned up.Customer service is better then beforeThey make you feel welcomed not like the person that was running the store..So my experience 👍🏻❤

Definitely felt the suspicion everyone was talking about here. I picked up one item and then put it back 1 minute later exactly where i found it and still got questioned on my way out the door.

Poor customer service. Owner is dishonest, she said the human hair was 20% off but didn’t calculate the discount, after I called her out on the difference she added the 20% then tried to increase the sales price that was clearly marked on the package. She claims she doesn’t carry new wigs and that she can only sell to you what’s on the mannequins. I paid her cash for a wig cap and then she charged me for the wig cap again when I bought a comb. I didn’t notice the error until I got in my car, it was only a $1 so I didn’t go back but her desperation is pretty pathetic. Will not shop there, EVER!

BEWARE OF THE PRICE GOUGING. Most natural hair product dont have prices on them. I brought an item one day and went back the very next day for an extra jar and she increased the price by $5, no sticker price was on the jar. When I questioned her about the change in price, she got irritable; I walked out. The only favorable review had grammatical error, it must have been written by her.

This lady, who is supposed to be the manager, started yelling at me. This started when she told me the price of a shampoo, and then when I paid, it reflected another price. Therefore, I decided to not sign that check because I, as a client, decided to void it. I know those checks are supposed to be discard and keep the ones that says void. However, she insisted and started yelling that I have to sign no matter what. Obviously, I didnt do it and I tried to explain it to her. She got so irritated and proceeded to told me go, and never come back. Are you serious? What kind of customer service is it? She needs to be retrained.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The store manager is very rude, suspicious, and a liar! I went in there to purchase some hair gel because Wal-Mart was out. The price at Wal-Mart is $3.94. She had a shelf full of the hair gel that was priced at $11.99!!!! Say what now??? So I called her sneaky behind out on it. By her facial expression she knew EXACTLY what I was saying before I could complete my sentences!!! And of course she put me out. No worries, I have no plans on EVER setting foot in that store again. I also believe she is buying all of that hair gel (Got 2B Glued) from Wal-Mart so that people can come to her and pay 3 times the amount. Her prices are INSANE! The beauty supply store near Shoppers Food Warehouse is much bigger and BETTER!

**Do NOT SHOP HERE**If I could give this store no stars I would. The prices are outrageous first off. Secondly I purchased a lace wig and asked for one color but did not discover until I got home that the owner gave me the wrong color. I called her as soon as the store opened the next morning and explained what happened and asked if I could return it and she said yes. When I got to the store she refused to take the item back even though it was a mistake on her part. She is very rude and very unprofessional and said that she is not responsible for making sure customers receive the correct product. I would not encourage anyone else to give this store their money.

I loved that store they have everything and I liked the manager she is nice lady who does not speak English very well but there are a little young girl and she helps a lot ...the Asian lady is busy all the time, the store has cameras but the is full of the best products I ever seen ..all together at same place .i love that store and Ginger is very nice too 😉

I will never return to this cheap quality beauty supply store ever again after the Asian manager, Ms. Thang, accused me of stealing from the store (8/4/15) she totally humiliated me in front of other customers and her staff!!! I work for the government and even had my government ID still on when I came into J Beauty Supply. Why in the world would I steal from a cheap quality store like this? I will never recommend this store to anyone I know. J Beauty Supply has poor customer service skills but I do not blame the employees, I blame Ms. Thang because she has poor customer service skills! I have never been treated so horribly ever in life, until I came into J Beauty Supply in Manassas Mall.

The worst customer service and people skills ever. The supposed manager Jae Soo Lee was rude and obnoxious. Should have seriously taken into consideration the reviews of this place before shopping there. The poor reviews of this place are spot on. Go elsewhere!!

They deserve 0 stars. I refuse to do business with people who profile me as a thief and follow me as soon as I walk in the door. So, when I noticed her following me, I smiled at her and walked right back out the door. You wont get MY money!!!

The owner stereotypes every African American that enters the store, literally 5 seconds upon me entering I caught her following me. Im a business owner of a tax firm, so why on earth would I be stealing? So I ignored her at first, but after I stopped she ran into me, because thats how much she was on my tail. I told her I was going to report her and she just started going crazy, telling me to get out, Im black, Im a thief. I wanted to cry from embarrassment but I just left. Words to the wise, NEVER COME TO THIS STORE.

They are always having new items with good prices

I wish that I could give this place no stars. Three words...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I drive out of my way, if none of the other beauty supply stores are open. This store will never get my money again.

I went in to look for some products for my dreadlocks and I turned a bottle to read the back and see the price. I then put my hand back in my pull over hoodie pocket where my wallet was and she ran over and started yelling at me to give it back. I had a hoodie with only my wallet in it, flat shoes and skin tight leggings. The container was a huge, short, round container (like one youd find for gel or pomade). There is no way I would or could have stolen from her. I have spent over $100 in her store and work 2 stores over from her at the vape shop in the mall. I had no problem telling her that. She called me behind the counter to watch the security video and played it back multiple times, which shows that I did not steal anything, and then paused to ask if I was going to buy what I had in my hands. I offered to take my hoodie off, shoes off and I set my wallet on the counter and she said it wasnt necessary. She said she will call the cops and I ENCOURAGED her to. I would have HAPPILY let a cop do a search on me. She told me to get out of her shop, that she will save the video and post my picture, and she will call the cops if I come back in. I feel COMPLETELY disrespected and embarrassed and she missed out on a $55 purchase before tax. I will never be going back, clearly. I hope everyone sees this review and others where theyve been accused of stealing and people dont waste their time with this kind of disrespect towards the customer.

Old Wigs small space and Manager is always talking about something is half off that is over priced and you pay what price should be after the sale. No up to date hair or wigs. Expensive prices

Prices are ridiculous. Not friendly. Wouldn’t speak English in front of my face when asking a question about pricing.....they are not there to help but just to make money
