Had a HDD drive go bad, and was able to purchase and install a new SSD drive from this place. They knew exactly what I needed for my laptop.

Called the store before heading in to see about purchasing a part which is extremely hard to find in person. They actually carried the part and I was able to pick it up promptly. The person at the counter was extremely friendly as well.I highly recommend looking here for any computer parts before looking elsewhere. Bonus points for actually picking up the phone, much better than Best Buy in that regard.

Manhattan Computer Hospital has EXCELLENT service and I am very impressed. Staff were willing to go above and beyond to make sure my computer was running well. The work was also performed very efficiently, I received my computer the same day I took it to the shop. Don’t waste your time with Best-Buy Geek or K-state IT. All my questions were answered and prices are super reasonable. I am super happy with my experience here.

Computer Hospital was the only place in Manhattan that understood students need their laptop during this time and they let me drop it off for a few hours to figure out what was wrong, then they let me take it home same day while they ordered the part. Then they called me when my part was in and had it fixed in a few hours. Customer service was great answering all my questions, and they were fast and fairly priced (all computer stuff is pricey). Very happy with how they handled everything.

I have been to the computer hospital twice now with my Mac. Each time, the customer service was excellent and the service was fast. I could tell they actually cared about my concerns as well as my time. As a student, I needed my computer to be back in a timely manner. I expected it would take a couple days, but it only took about 5 hours! That allowed me to attend all of my classes on time and definitely relieved my stress. It was also not a great chunk of change out of my pocket, which of course, made me happy. They explained everything they did and showed me that the issues were fixed. I 100% recommend this place!

Atrocious. I called before i went in and was given a $40 price to look at my computer, which I need bc i work from home. I was told it should only take a few hours. And 29 hrs later finally got my computer back. I was charged 75 for the actual diagnostic and an additional 25 for the replacement part. Which cost 9 buck on Amazon.Furthermore, i had my computer friend look at it afterwards, and it seems they didnt even give me the right diagnosis. Never coming back here again. Recommend you dont either. (The workers were very friendly, nothing against them as people, just felt very scammed by the process and company)Edit: several weeks later i decided to try my original part again. Works perfectly. So not only did they overcharge me. Their fix wasnt even real. Literally 100bucks for absolutely nothing.

Knowledgeable and Honest. Brought a laptop in as it would not turn on. The technician looked at it was able to bring it up long enough to pull data from it, but the computer wasnt worth saving. Plan to use them for annual check ups.

My wife and I have recently retired from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design at K-State (she was the associate dean for many years) where an excellent IT staff enabled us to accomplish our professional objectives in teaching and administration (we got spoiled by Don Crawford and his team). Since then we have come to rely on MCH to keep us in business with our computers. This past Friday was the most recent visit, when Connor was extremely helpful, at the end of the day. He helped me retrieve all my data from iCloud, back to my MacBook (... when switching cell phone carriers I changed my Apple password and did not connect the dots on why the blank but functional screen came up). During a previous visit my old Mac got a new life, thanks to the installation of a new hard drive and battery. Both Lynn and I really appreciate the empathy, patience and abilities of every staff member we have met. The repair and upgrade work is top-rate and very fairly priced. Its a trustworthy place to take your electronics. They fixed a couple of things on my computer and knowing that Im a student they were happy to work with me on the times when I needed it while waiting for parts to come in. I highly recommend them.

I needed one key replaced on my laptop. They told me they would only replace the whole keyboard which is completely crazy.

I had a problem with my laptop that was driving me crazy. I went into the hospital and got a fantastic guy to help me through my problem. he was very patient with me and gave me all kinds of information I could use. his name is conner and you need to keep him on forever. I would highly recommend him and the hospital for all your computer needs!!

Took my laptop in for a screen issue. All my interactions with the guys there have been very positive. They make sure you understand whatever work theyre doing on your device and break down the costs. They took a day to check out my laptop, ordered the part it needed, installed it, and got it back to me in less than a week. I highly recommend using their services

This place is great! The screws were coming out of the bottom of my laptop and when I took it to Best Buy they said it was out of warranty and couldnt help... but when I brought my computer here they were able to fix it no problem! The employees were awesome and saved me from having to call the manufacturer/send it out for repair. Highly recommend!

Wonderful service!!

I went to upgrade my Dell XPS 13 laptops storage and ever since it has been having major issues. It would randomly reset and turn off if I wasnt constantly using it, loosing all of my tabs and homework. I eventually had to factory reset my PC, it got so bad. It still continues to have issues turning on and staying on. I dont know what they did to it, but this only started after I got it back.

Computer is working great so far and the people at Manhattan Computer Hospital worked with me in making payments until I got my computer back.

We have taken our computer here twice. The problem was not easy to detect and they ended up not charging us for any of the work or labor because we decided to just get a new computer. They were able to transfer all our data from our old computer. Similar story second time--not charged for anything we didnt take home or for tests that didnt work. Their prices are not outlandish and I definitely did not feel taken advantage of. Very nice to work with and made me feel like our computer was in the right hands.

John at Manhattan Computer Hospital went above and beyond today to help my son fix his laptop. My son accidentally spilled coffee on it earlier today and couldnt get it to power on. We called John and explained the situation, and he was willing to take a look at it as soon as Cole could get it to the shop. John was able to fix the laptop, clean it, and get it to power back on. We are so thankful for Johns help. Outstanding service!

I had been trying to build a PC for a friend and have done it many times before, but for some reason the computer would not turn on after correctly installing everything, I had changed almost every part of the computer to see if it was one certain piece of hardware that was faulty, I even took it to geek squad and let them have a look at it, turns out even though the motherboard was the correct socket for the processor I got, it was a newer motherboard and was not compatible with the processor I had purchased for my friend, so I am now switching the motherboard out for the correct one, I was there for about 10 mins and they helped me very quickly compared to geek squad who just told me it could be that a few screws were not installed, these guys know what they are doing and I am very appreciative of their expertise, will definitely go there in the future if I have any issues. Would have saved me a week of trying to figure out what this issue was if I went here first. Thanks again! :)

Typical services I did not like rhe fact when I asked for a diagnostic report. I was told one was done and charged $44 after tax. Not what I expect for computer professionals.i expected people that were more knowledgeable for the price they changed. Anyone who has a little computer knowledge could have accomplished what they provided. All I was looking for was a quote to how much a repair for screen.

I recently bought an iMac from Manhattan Computer Hospital. Ben, the owner, worked with me to make sure that I had the exact one that I wanted. He threw in a bottle of screen cleaner after my purchase at no charge. In my opinion, they try to go above and beyond for the customer. I am very pleased with my experience and would not hesitate to recommend to a friend.

I have taken both a personal and a work computer to them in the last two months. These guys know what they are doing. I have been very pleased with the knowledge and speed of repair. Their services are reasonably priced to boot!

These guys are absolutely awesome! Better prices and WAY BETTER customer service than Best Buy. I took my computer back after a month of getting a new hard drive through them, it took a lot of work but they got my computer up and running with great speed. They let me borrow a flash drive for my files for free. This was all under warranty, but even if my warranty had been up, they still would have helped me out. 10/10 would recommend going to the Computer Hospital!

Needed to get my logic board replaced; Manhattan Computer Hospital was extremely friendly and reasonable. I needed someone trustworthy with a large-scale repair, and they provided top-notch service! I would recommend them to anyone needing repairs, major or minor.

Id like to start my review by saying that the issue - a broken keyboard - was repaired. However, the whole process took about a month. I rely on my laptop for work (I work from home for a company in CA), so being unable to work for that long was rough, to say the least. Luckily my company was understanding! The new keyboard works fine; some of the keys are a bit sticky but Im just glad to be working again. In summary, my experience was ok, but I cannot recommend Manhattan Computer Hospital if you need a quick fix, based on my rather aggravating personal experience.

First off, these guys know what theyre doing and theyre the only ones who can do it in town unless you want to contact someone shady on Craigslist.They built my desktop for me from the ground off, and did it for half of what I thought they were going to charge me. They were all extremely personable as well.They know what theyre doing, and like I said, theyre the only ones in town who can build you a desktop.Would definitely go back.

Ive gone to them for all my computer needs for a couple of years! Everything from a virus clean-up to keyboard replacement, and even a CD lodged in the computer itself that escaped the disk drive. They do excellent work, always taking care of the customer and the computer.

My USB computer mouse and keyboard quit working on my desktop computer. I didnt know if my motherboard was fried or a driver became corrupt. These guys loaned me an old keyboard and mouse with PS2 connections so I could work on my desktop and get it up and running. No deposit, no questions. Just great service. I appreciate a company who operates on a handshake and is simply there to help. Thank you for being a lifesaver for me yesterday.

Over the past day, I took my HP laptop to Geek Squad to ask if they would be able to fix my LCD screen. Their response was rude and inconsiderate, and said it would most definitely have to be shipped to their Geek Squad HQ. I turned down their offer, and decided to try my luck at The Computer Hospital.Ben. If I could give you 6+ stars I would! The Computer Hospital in Manhattan immediately came to my aid, and even had the right LCD screen replacement available in the store. They even managed to fix it the same day before they closed at 6:00pm. I would highly recommend, them for any of your personal computer fixes/needs. AWESOME!

Dont go here. I had my laptop in to repair a broken charger port and that was all I needed fixed. Battery was fine and my computer ran fine before. After I got it back my system is slower than ever and my battery is somehow broken. Audio from my system is rather garbage too. Do not come here, as they will break more than they fix.

Took my computer screen there for repair, after being told it would only take a week I had to call 2 weeks later and even though they tried to cover I know they actually hadnt done anything as I was sitting in their outbox the entire time like it was done. Then they turned off the # lock button so my password wouldnt work. Had to bring it back in, with a crying infant while my husband was deployed all just for that! They werent even apologetic! Then because the guy ordered the wrong part twice he tried to make ME feel guilty because he was actually losing money on the whole thing. Like it was my fault! Never again. Wish I could give them NO stars!

Took my Macbook here for a screen-replacement and to see why my hard drive wasnt working. They were fantastic! I took my laptop in thinking I might have a network security issue. Was told it was fine. Came home and it was running really slow, I mean sludge slow. Called him back, he told me when he it was fine when he ran it, seemed very defensive and uninterested in looking at it again. Bad attitude; I would never use their service again.

Took in my hard drive because it was clicking and would not read. Left it and was called to say they could not recover it. Even referred me to another company! Then when I returned to pick it up. I was charged because they diagnosed that it would not boot up and it clicked. I literally told them the same things they discovered with the Diagnosis. Stay away from the owner. He will charge regardless of your situation.

Overall I would not recommend this company in the slightest. I am a gamer and was having issues with a new game and couldnt figure out any solutions for it constantly crashing. I brought in my PC and everything was okay until I got a call back. I was told to come into the store and pick up my PC and that the game was running okay. After I arrived I was told lies about the minimum specs for the game and that my PC was not up to par. They charged me about $90 for changing a setting within a game and it having no fix on the overall problem. I think there was little time spent by their technicians in order to fully try and solve the problem. In conclusion I would recommend the free services provided by Geek Squad or just researching on your own and trying to solve the problem.

Really disappointed. I took in my computer (which was fully functional except for a screen that would whiten out and a touchpad problem). They diagnosed it for an entire week and told me that the logic board needed to be replaced, which is pretty expensive. I refused and they gave me back a dead computer because apparently the logic board failed more when they were diagnosing the problem and stopped working.

The person who helped me was very kind, understanding, and up-front about what my computer needed.

The guy was very helpful when I had trouble with my laptop. He was also very nice.

Great place! Took my MacBook to the technology service place in hale library and they couldnt figure out the problem after a week and a half I decided to pick it up and they said I would need a new logicboard ($600) they were pretty bad at explaining what was wrong with it I was pretty sure that wasnt a good idea. Brought my laptop in to these guys, got back to me the next day and explained exactly what was wrong. Cost me WAY less than $600. The guys that work there have years of experience definitely check them out.

I had a very complicated situation that the guys at computer hospital fixed easily ! I’m a “do it myself” type of guy but there comes a time in our lives that we have to put pride aside and ask for help and they definitely pulled through for me.

Great experience! I stopped there out of frustration of a missing screw in my SSD (I purchased elsewhere). I had looked high and low at hardware stores and online and refused to spend $.06 online + shipping to get this to me. After hearing my plea MCH provided me 3 screws of various sizes at no cost and I was able to install my SSD with no problems! Great customer service! They didnt nickel and dime me for a tiny screw, they just took care of me. Highly recommend giving them your business any time possible.

Briefly, I told them the problem with my MacBook Pro. I was told in 2-3 days they would give me a call. 20 - 30 minutes later they called and told me my MacBook was fixed and ready to roll! Prices are the best out there and being next to campus is a huge plus.I would take my computer here again if anything like that were to happen. Great service and of course very friendly and courtiuous.

Dont bother with this place. I asked them to replace my screen, and they did so but they didnt even check to see if it worked before giving it back. And then when I confronted them, they said it wasnt their fault, it was the screen. They wanted me to pay for another one. I took it to a friend of my and he fixed the wiring that was screwing up the picture. I should have gone to him than wasting my time and money with these professionals who dont even check their work or try to diagnose the issue.They also kept my laptop battery and I had to go back to get it but by then the battery was dead.Seriously, dont go here.
