The lead frame in the transmission of my Transit 350 needed replacing. Luckily it was still under factory warranty. Mankato Ford completed the job as quickly as they could, however the part needed was delayed over a week. Still, this is not Mankato Fords fault. Just a delay in part availability. Andrew was friendly, professional, and informative.
My experience at Mankato Ford was excellent Joe bidwell was an excellent salesperson he was right on top of everything I inquired online and got a response back really fast. I even gave me a quote over messages and some pictures of my vehicle. I ended up driving over 80 mi to look at this vehicle and ended up making a deal. I like the fact that they are up front price dealership meaning what the price is on the vehicles what theyre going to sell it to you for in the lowest and the they can go. Unlike some dealerships where you have to negotiate because they have a marked up as we all know. I would recommend Joe bidwell as your next sales person he was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to like I said before right on top of everything nice easy smooth transaction through Mankato Ford!

Bought my Explorer in 2020, in 2021 I had some paint flake off my hood ( which had been repaired prior to my purchase--I was aware of the hood damage)..Stopped by and talked to Marty Bode, the manager and he got me lined up with the body shop and the y reshot the paint on my hood promptly and without any hesitation. I fully expected the runaround and was met with nothing but great customer service, hood as re-painted promptly and so far looks great. From the lady at the front desk, to Marty, to the body shop people and the service writers who handed me my keys everything was friendly, prompt and amazing!!!!! We love the Explorer and i know when time comes to replace the wifes Edge she is gonna want another Explorer. Years back I was less than happy with Mankato Ford, but the new ownership here is off to a great start with me!!!!! Thumbs up here!
Redefined Hassle Free!! I came to buy from Mankato Ford from out of town because I scoured the entire country for a Lincoln Navigator L, Black Label, with a bench middle row, in Chroma ex w/ Yacht Club Blue in. As you can imagine I only found one and Mankato Ford had it. I drove 12 hours to trade in my vehicle and turned and burned back home. A) I love visiting MN and B) the staff at Mankato Ford was fully accommodating. I mainly delt with Marty Bode and he was fantastic. All around one of the best car buying experiences of my life. Defiantly check them out, even for lightly used Lincolns!
Had a bad experience at Mankato Ford. I had a problem with my interior cabin lights and a airbag recall for my vehicle. Was initially told that the charge for running diagnostics would be free and so proceeded to do this for the lights and the airbag was performed for free(since recall). After a long wait of over 3 hours. They handed my keys and I thanked them for their service and went on my way. This was well over a month ago.Fast-forward to today (09/14) I had to come in because they apparently messed up and installed the wrong airbag 🤦♂️ and once there they told me that I actually had an outstanding payment of $55 for the previous visits diagnostic on the interior cabin light. I was told by a crew member that the fee is standard and that they forgot to charge me on my last visit a month ago.Wish they had let me know the last time on the price of the diagnostic the first time around and had not made an error on airbag installation. Unhappy and wish there was more clarity and prompt communication in regards to pricing prior and post service.My recommendation: Unless you absolutely have to visit OEM...take your business elsewhere. There are quite a few in Mankato that do a great job at the same if not a more nominal price with higher quality service.

After many failed attempts to inform the dealership that my wife is the actual “owner” of the truck. She pays the joint loan payments, she is the primary if not only driver, she buys her own accessories, she will the the one to maintain it and makes all decisions on it. It’s in both our names, so I’m assumed to be the one to contact. Bad misconception. It’s sad how the joy she should have had was squashed by the treatment she received. I’m not one of those me man kind of men. My wife says the service guy she works with is top notch. I don’t know details. Maybe she should be the one to get the review to do. Just a thought.

Was there from 9:15am-2pm, for oil change, tire rotation and a new key, that cost double what I had been quoted before because I was charged for the hour it took to make, if I wouldve known that was gonna be charged never would have done that. Just cost so much for so little. Sorry for bad feedback, but that was ridiculous.

We bought a new truck in 2013 from Mankato Ford and had a bad experience. We have not been back since. We heard it was under new ownership, so thought we would try again. The service manager hung up on me and told me to take my truck somewhere else. I don’t think we will be back ever again.

I spent 4 hours of my afternoon waiting on finance to get me a better rate than 14.99 with good credit and they couldnt help went home and called one bank and they got me a rate half what ford was proposing to me. I called them back after not 45 min and they sold the truck. I also bought a Chrysler van from them a while back. And had to sit and wait for finance for 4 hours that night with my kids there and didnt even get to see anybody. New management new new owners are not.this dealership is one of the worst dealerships Ive ever been to in my life

We were traveling by Mankato pulling a camper when our truck started to die. We we had a four week old infant and a two-year-old child along with my wife and daughter. It was a hot Friday afternoon about noon when we pulled in to Mankato Ford spewing black diesel exhaust. It was clear we were in trouble. The staff at Mankato Ford were absolutely wonderful in getting our old truck in the shop to diagnose the problem quickly. When it was clear we had to buy a new truck, they had exactly what we needed “on the spot”, were honest with us about the condition of the used vehicle and gave us a very fair price. I especially appreciate their fair pricing policy as a traditional dealer would have been tempted to charge us more because we were stuck! It was amazingly well coordinated handoffs between service, sales, financing, mechanics to install the hitch and even staff to re- pack our stuff in the new pickup exactly the same as we had it in the old one! We were back on the road by 5 PM! While it was a terrible feeling to be away from home and in trouble, we will always be grateful and have warm feelings for everyone at Mankato Ford! Thank you!!

The basic service is ok. However, Ford of Mankato lacks specificity when explaining more complicated/extensive repairs. I recommend going somewhere else as it I’ll me three calls just to gets cogent information on parts, labor and required time.

Extremely disappointed in this dealership and their practices. I have spent the week trying to wrap up a purchase on a vehicle they have in stock. I would be traveling from out of state and started making my travel arrangements. They do not take deposits and all business is handled over the phone so youd think they would have the old school mentality of your word is golden. We were literally at the final hour of closing this up and I get a phone call that the owner and general manager sold the car to a friend of the owner but it wasnt picked up or paid for yet. I pleaded for them to take a deposit from me. Nope we dont take deposits was the response again. Very disappointed in the time I wasted on this, the inquiries on my credit now and the practices of the dealership. Two thumbs down.

Kind mechanics who are great at explaining what they did after repairing my vehicle as well as their small shop(quick lane) across the street provides nice service. However, I seem to have to interact with someone by the name of Eric. The few times I’ve called to schedule or ask about the status of my car he was not a pleasant person to work with, snippy, did not provide straightforward information and was not clear in answering questions which resulted in a lot of wasted time. He doesn’t seem to listen well. I imagine he’s probably commission based, based on his pressuring ways related to making money off of me. If I was rating the mechanics they are 5 star staff if I had to rate Eric alone it would be low.

Vehicle was taken in twice under 12M02 as I referenced to service when I took the vehicle in both times. Told it was not covered under that program, even though my issue is regarding that specific APM Module. Service tech have even witnessed the APM Module go dead in person. All that was done because they said it wasnt under that program was software updates. As I did not want to personally pay $1,000+ for the entire Module to be replaced. So instead I was charged $167.29 in may and another $75.50 in August for software updates. When the entire APM Module should have been replaced after the 1st update not fixing the problem under the program. Reached out to Ford/Lincoln parent company. They confirmed it should have been under that recall program and are now working on refunding me $240 that I should have not even paid for in the first place. But now even after confirming it was under the program they still wont even fix the problem as the warranty ended in August. If it was done correctly the first time I would have had the vehicle fixed the second time it was in. Now Ford expects me to pay to fix the APM Module that controls heated seats, heated steering wheel, cooled seats, Navigation, radio, Bluetooth, back up camera, etc... When they should have done this in the beginning. So in the end I am out over $1,000+ to fix the issue myself and replace the APM Module. Or I am stuck with a luxury vehicle that has no luxury features let alone a radio.**UpdateRefund check arrived for the two services I had paid for. But both Mankato Ford and Lincoln Motor Company literally still passed the buck and declined to just fix the issue. Literally told to check back if your warranty doesnt pay for it. Instead of Ford just fixing the problem vs. having me wait 3 more days for the extend warranty (Not through Ford or bought from them) to thankfully say they will pay for it.
My husband had some recall work done on his vehicle and we were very impressed with the friendly staff and efficient way they took care of things. We have never bought a car from this dealer but from the service side we were very happy and satisfied!

I am thankful that 5 years ago I was in need and they helped get me in a 2015 focus, recently I was browsing considering trading in the focus, was hesitant due to credit score. I was contacted by Bill and I emailed back and forth and was very clear about my score and everything upfront he persuaded me to come in because he was sure he could do something, well all he did was prolong saying he could do nothing and running my credit through 5 agencies and dropped my score 12 points. I asked they only try 1. So Mankato Ford I am not happy. I will my take business elsewhere. Another lie I was told after a couple years paying on the focus I could trade it in. I will keep my focus. You would think 5 years good payment history would count for something also referring 3 family members who also made purchases.

Brought my car in because the service light came on and the code read it was the thermostat. After 3 hours, my car was done. They did a multi-point inspection and said everything was good. However, I know my exhaust is loose and I am thinking my catylitic converter is about plugged. I also need new shocks and struts. But yet they said everything on the mulit-point inspection was checked and good. I paid $272.70 for the labor, $73.32 for the parts, and $25.95 for shop supplies. Total due was $379.79. I got in my car to go and my service light was still on. Which was the reason why I brought it in. I went back inside and asked why my light was still on and his response was that they dont do anything with that and that I needed to take it elsewhere to have the code cleared. Very unsatisfied especially since the thermostat itself was only $50.50. Needless to say... I will not be going back and definitely do not recommend.
