The salesman was extremely helpful without pressure to buy. He was knowledgeable about everything we looked at. The show area was clean and roomy. Having never been here before, I was amazed at the quality furniture they had on hand! The prices were in line with competitors but delivery/pickup time was half or even less. I have no doubt I will be returning and plan to make Room and Rest my “go to” store!!

I was very happy with the customer service. The sales people were very helpful and friendly. I am happy with the quality of the items I bought and thought they were a fair price. Delivery people were also very helpful and courteous. The only downside was some products were on back order or out of stock due to production delays but that’s really out of the store’s control. They called me as soon as the items were available. I would shop here again!

Went in looking for a bed frame. We were assisted by Brian. He was very helpful. I went to 2 stores previous to picking Rooms and Rest. The first store we werent even greeted, and even once we were, the sales associate offered little help. The 2nd store was better, but their inventory was lacking. Once we picked out our bed, we had to drive to the warehouse to pick it up. It was a very simple process, albeit a bit of an inconvenience. I will definitely shop here again.

I purchased a recliner made by a Norwegian company and spent over $1600 for the chair and a service agreement. The chair fell apart after approximately four months of use and waited four months until the service company finally came to my home and repaired it. Basically, the repair man used a power drill and drilled in some new screws. After another three months the chair fell apart again. This time I went to the store and complained. They sent out a service man and he repaired the arm that had fallen off. Now it has been about a year and the other arm has now called off. I am dismayed that what I saw as an investment in a piece that should last a very long time is now needing to be repaired again, the third time in almost three years.

Cindy at the Mankato location was very helpful and creative helping me furnish my new apartment. The delivery guys were very professional and did a wonderful job setting up my recliner and bed. Overall, it was a great experience!

I came in to purchase mattress and a couch. Kevin showed me many different styles and prices. He was very patient with me. I am somewhat color blind and he explained the couch colors to me. I choose a loveseat instead of a full couch because of size. I found a mattress I liked in the economy section. Kevin explained the credit app to me and qualified me. We discussed mattresss again and he sold me on a better mattress. I paid for the couch and financed the mattress. Kevin set up a delivery date and waived the delivery fee. He was kind and courteous throughout our interaction. I appreciated his knowledge.

He set about determining exactly what that was. Then he pointed out some similar chairs for me to try out. After trying them I was sold! Was frustrated because last week we came in and were told one thing and on our next trip back told something completely different on the same item. We came back the second time to make a purchase but decided to wait now as things were not the same. We would appreciate consistency or at least honor what was stated to us. Otherwise, lots of stuff and a wide selection of items.

I love the couch we bought but DO NOT BUY the cleaning warranty. We purchased the added cleaning service to accompany our new couch and love seat. We were told NOT to clean any stain or marking on our couch during this time but to call as soon as we noticed it or it would void our cleaning warranty. I have done everything I was supposed to. I have called six times and have sent over five emails over the course of the last three months. I have called Rooms and Rest and they have also called four times on my behalf and still no cleaning has occurred. Im at my wits end. I cant believe that Rooms and Rest continues to use this service that clearly does not provide a service. I dont know if I should risk voiding it by hiring a local company or load up the couch and return the entire thing because clearly R&R is not concerned with fixing the situation. Its really too bad because we love the couch and we loved the sales experience.

I went to Rooms and Rest to purchase a mattress, fully expecting to deal with the unpleasantries that come with commission-based sales. To my absolute delight, that was absolutely a non-issue.Ryan was fantastic! I told him exactly what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend, and he hit the nail right on the head. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. This dude deserves a raise! For any of my furniture/home needs, Ryan is the first person I will be going to.

At a time when customer service is nowhere to be found, shipping is slow and communication is so limited with so many stores, I had a personal conversation with a salesman who drove to the store to help me over the phone and got my order done. He also told me exactly how to reach him with any questions in the future (no more hour long holds and zero replies back). Also assured me fast, easy shipping and bent over backwards for my family.
