Very friendly people, awesome drinks and tasty treats, too. I loved the citrus blueberry scones here with the big dipper coffee and all the great teas. Great place, great vibes, fun place to hang out, especially outside.

Good coffee, the last time both my friend and I didn’t love our drinks as much as the previous times we had been there. Usually it’s quite delicious though!

Stopped in for breakfast and coffee. My coffee was alright, but my friends mocha was not good. Very few flavor options. The muffin was terrible. We actually threw it out. Handpie was almost all potato, a little egg, didnt find any sausage in it at all. The one bright spot was the granola. It was great!

This is wonderful little coffee shop downtown Mankato. I have had several coffee dates there already and the service is always great. I enjoyed the chai tea, and the deserts are hard to resist.

Easily hands down the best coffee in all of Blue Earth & Nicollet County! I always get the vanilla bean latte with oat milk. The foam is always perfect and spot on, I dont know any other coffee shop that can perfect milk foam like River Rock - such a balanced flavor and the most absolute friendliest staff! Theyre so sweet, so kind, so warm and welcoming and they all do such a consistent job with their all their coffee. My partner is a huge fan of the pour over and says there is nothing comparable toRiver Rocks. River Rock is a must in my weekly routine!

Horrible coffee!!! Extremely disappointed. Asked for a simple black cup of coffee that they must have had sitting in a pot 12 hours before I ordered it. Will never return and would never recommend. Nothing like the great River Rock caffe in st peter.

I love coffee, more than most things. Roast my own, love my Italian Rancilio pair, and am more picky with coffee than anything else. Probably was the best cappuccino Ive had in a decade. Spot on, foam was just right, not to dry. Espresso just right, not to diluted by milk. Great coffee blend they used too. Highly recommend! Next time Ill try an espresso and if its anything like the previous, Im sure Ill be pleased. Give it a shot! Or 3, best way to have an espresso.

Best iced carmel latte in Mankato.

One of my favorite coffee shops anywhere. The service is always excellent. I love the caramel rolls and the pour over coffee. For years, my friends and I have enjoyed getting together for morning coffee or a good lunch while we catch up or meet for work at the St. Peter location. Now, the Mankato location offers a nice outdoor venue (in the warmer weather) and a clean fresh environment to just relax with a excellent cup of coffee.

Ive been a fan of River Rock in St. Peter for years and finally checked out the Mankato location while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. It was the best place to be stranded with my 4-year old. He had a gigantic pecan caramel roll, which was delicious. I had my usual: a cup of soup and quiche with a latte. The staff immediately offered me a sample of the soup, which I appreciated. They were also really quick to take my order on a mobile device since there was another group placing an order. Before I even paid for my order another staff member began making it. Everyone was kind and friendly, and it was a pleasant space to spend time. I appreciate the quality food, drink, and gracious staff.

Fun place to enjoy a great cup of coffee. The baristas really know what they’re doing and you can taste the difference. The fresh baked goods were wonderful (try the rosemary bread). I also really enjoyed the atmosphere...the mural alone is worth a visit.

Great new coffee bar in Mankato featuring fair-trade, organic coffee and locally grown and sourced food, and locally grown flour for the breads! Local artists’ work on the walls was inspired by the food and land and communities. Their bar design is sleek lined and elegant. They give a nod to their larger cafe in Saint Peter, a town north, but this is its own place with its own attention to detail and service, a different vibe for a different customer (ok, or same customer just in a different mood). I can taste the attention in the coffee either brewed or crafted. I get that this coffee bar is a sweet place to relax for a moment while enjoying an excellent coffee and snack!

Im a long-time fan and regular of the St Peter River Rock. Their Mankato location has a nice spot for outdoor seating and they have a neat wall mural inside. Its a great place to grab lunch and coffee. Their drip coffee is my go-to option and I also really like their matcha latte and cappuccino. I recently tried their chocolate pudding and it was delicious!

Family favorite for coffee, food and snack

A victim of its own attempt at being hip and a lackluster brew. In an attempt to be different in a small space theyve opted for minimalist furniture which though looking neat is just so uncomfortable. I love their pastries bit the coffee was lackluster. Either the Brew is to corsely ground or the water isnt got enough, but the result is an espresso that is acidic and very one note.

The coffee here is the best in town. Staff is friendly and quick. Buy a loaf of rosemary sourdough bread, its fantastic. The handpies and scones are always delicious.

Its a wonderful little cafe with an amazing atmospher, friendly staff, and marvelous food and drinks. Theres a stunning mural that when combined with a tasty cup of coffee makes for a relaxing environment perfect for meeting up with friends or studying.
