After waiting in their drive thru I was rudely informed that they didnt have change to break my $100 bill. I wasnt buying it so I asked to talked to the manager. I was not given the opportunity to speak to the manager and was sent away. Honestly the place prints money theyre busy non-stop. I go there all the time and just curious if the owners know they are sending customers away because they cant make the time to muster up some change .Dunkin donuts breaks $100s and didnt bat an eye.

The Baristas at this location are the BEST! So friendly, while still moving customers through the line quickly. Even our dog will say they are her favorite people in the world (every Wednesday)!

A person was taking orders right at the car. That was really nice. I could ask questions and get answers.

They were out of everything on a Sunday afternoon....poor planning for inventory and demand. Not ok for a corporate location in a busy part of town on a Sunday afternoon/ mid morning.

Awesome coffee. The new drive threw entrance is so much better. Still insane lines during most parts of the day. My dogs love riding with and getting a puppachino!

Sooooo SLOW!!!! Could take a nap while waiting to even order. If I would have been able to drive away I would have.

I went through the drive through. It was quite busy so I expected a wait. I ordered green tea with strawberry puree and was charged for them adding strawberry and strawberry puree. Then when I got to the window and paid they began making my drink and then said there was not enough green tea and asked if I wanted another tea added to it. I understand they were busy but they need to ensure they have enough products available to make drinks and need to ensure they enter drinks correctly. I even stated my drink order multiple times to make sure it was correct and it was still wrong.

Asked for 2 very berry refreshers, and received two completely different drinks, one that looked like watered down milk and one that looked a mucky yellow color. Asked the barista to remake them and she was very rude, flat out told me I was the one who was wrong. I used to work for the company, so I understand how the drinks are made. That along with how long the wait always is at this location, really wouldn’t recommend going here. Go to the one in Hyvee and save your time.

The Mankato store was great as always. Other stores, not so much. Mason city iowa store I would rank at 2 stars.

Went thru ordered a large hot coffee with cream. And a matcha pineapple chiller type drink. There was green powder caked on bottom not stired right. And instead of coconut milk they used cream. I know because Im lactose intolerant. Wasnt fun. Oh and The large hot coffee it was cold. Luke warm at best. 10 dollars down the drain. Never again.

Not a coffee drinker, but I love the egg bites and cream cheese Danish. My only complaint is the ice black tea is inconsistent. Sometimes perfect, sometimes overbrewed.

I stopped in this morning on my way to work and it was a great experience, the service was nice and quick, but the best part of the experience was the girl at the window. I havent had this pleasant of an interaction at any sort of drive thru in a very long time, she had good conversation the entire time I was at the window and was just an overall really nice person. As a former GM of a coffee house, I know these were the kinds of people that make customers want to keep coming back. I didnt catch her name, but I will be coming back based on this interaction, even if the service had been a little slower, which as I already stated, it was not!

This has been my main coffee shop in town when Im in a rush and need a delicious latte or cappuccino to wake me up. This team handles an incredible volume of orders every day and they deliver a great customer experience with speed and grace. Despite serving a huge number of customers and the hectic pace this entails, they also remember their regulars and stop to chat when the time is available. Among all the well run Starbucks throughout the country, this one stands out.

The line is always so long and moves so slow, but the coffee is good!

I really love Starbucks drinks. But this location’s drive-thru is absolutely ridiculous. It should not take 30 minutes to get through with 4-5 cars ahead of me! Absolutely disappointing. I wasn’t even greeted upon driving up and had to yell “hello???” multiple times after 3ish minutes for someone to respond. Get it together Mankato Starbucks.....

I ordered with them and used Uber eats for delivery. There was an issue with them being out of some of the personalizations I had put on my drink and they called me but I didn’t recognize the number so I didn’t answer. When the order arrived there were two post it notes inside with an explanation of the issue and that is how I learned it was them calling me. The notes were so very sweet and considerate and well written. They also included two cards for four dollars off each for my next visit. They also forgot to include one of the drinks I ordered and didn’t mention it in the note but I was able to very easily get a refund from Uber eats without leaving the driver a bad review because he did a really great job. 10/10 great experience

Busy place. Came in on a Thursday around 2 and it was packed. Pretty friendly staff. Interesting arrangement of tables. Made it difficult to navigate getting to the end of the line. Good coffee and customer service.

You wont even care.Amazing overall service speed, even during rushes. Like Indy Car spec lately.Yes, they are understanding of bathroom usage (a big deal in the news they tried openly and with hard talks with employees everywhere to resolve) and often even wi-fi needs. They understand life happens!Community observation: A group of tough, close-knit and well motivated young people run this store. Its unique. I hope they stay on, but dont burn out. I cant believe all they endure just in one rush!!!Ive noticed the little things here and they are strict about cleanliness and labels.They sort out confusion fast. Period. Ive seen them do it a few dozen times. Ive only ever seen one angry customer who was even correct in their mistake about online ordering (an almost instant pickup service they offer through the official Starbucks app, which I was really sketch on. But there is a real reason having a registered rewards card and the app is called by many the best in corporate America).[Any area they could improve? Just a few more trips across the counter to check how seated/dine-in customers are doing. I really value it when they do it! Also, noticing when someone has come up to the counter with undivided attention for a moment. I know the headsets are a tricky thing to perfectly manage, but complex orders with friends Ive brought in do get jarringly cut off or distracted by sudden drive-thru alerts/changes/new cars when our multiple item order was first and is still getting placed They dont do too bad on this. All other places with a drive-thru strive until they have lost their souls to satisfy electronic board numbers. The drive-thru is important, but the taproot into the community is the seated lounge.]I focus not on that minor to-improve issue (there is always one!!!), or even on the great coffee:A great worker got upset with me once over a technical issue in store as I watched my order being made. But, she really improved to have a great and kind attitude to a truly sincere degree. She never even needed to say anything; I knew we were cool and had both grown from the experience. Ha ha, I dont yet understand the intriguing motivational and intelligent top lady in charge of the store, but I respect her intense passion. Another leader, Emily has always been extra kind to me even though we have quite different personalities. I just plain like all the second-tier management. Evan is the ever-kind customer loving soul among the employees. He really gives it a cherry on top vibe of customer care. Like, actually caring care.

Great coffee and a friendly crew. Fast service. The only negative is the table/chair layout. I believe the furniture was just recently replaced. Looks like they brought in way too many tables and crammed them into the dining area. May want to go into a Caribou to see what interior design is all about.

I go to this Starbucks periodically. I think it may be the busiest coffee shop I have ever seen. Service is always quick, coffee and food tastes great, and all the staff are friendly.

The Starbucks employees are always in a good mood no matter how much traffic is going through. They also have good suggestions for people who don’t really know what to order, Ive had two drinks that I’d never think of trying before. Both were great and help me expand my Order selection when the teas I normally get are out of stock. The orders are whipped up pretty fast at this location as well 👌🏽

On a business trip, arrived at the store 5 minutes before they opened. The front door was open so I went in, thinking they opened it for me. The young lady who was opening the store with 3 other ladies told me that they werent open yet. I asked to just sit at a table for 4 minutes and she said Im sorry but you have to leave the store we dont open for 4 minutes. I left and never came back. Theres policy and then theres customer service, millennial. Look into it

We come and order white chocolate mochas about 2-3 times a week. The first few times they were really good, and that’s why we kept coming back, but lately they’ve been very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good, other times it tastes like black coffee with a little bit of creamer, and sometimes it’s just plain gross. We’re ordering the same drink every time, I expect it to taste fairly similar every time.. but it’s like we never know what to expect now when ordering it. We had to go in a couple times and actually ask them to remake the drink because it was made so awfully.

Great service this location is often very busy but if you love Starbucks as much as I do its definitely worth it

I enjoyed it. At first I felt strange because when I went there were only young people. I frequent Starbucks but I am older and age should never be an issue. However later I interacted more and felt comfortable.

I stopped to get myself a drink and a slice of banana bread and went through the drive thru, I didnt have my dog Roxie with me as I had just come from the mall, I asked if I could get a puppacino to take home for her and Lauren was more than pleased to give me one!! She made my dogs night as it was about 9:40p when I went. So thank you Lauren!! Youre the best! Great fast and friendly service from your location as always.

Ordered hot chocolate which was luke warm at best and tasted like dish water. They fulfilled multiple peoples orders before getting only half my daughters order, even though we ordered before them. Had to remind them to last half of her order because they forgot. Last time we go to Starbucks.

Very popular place. It isnt a place for you to relax because it is so busy amd small. Quality of customer service is excellent as well as their products. This is more of a grab and go unless you are present in the evening there.
