Excellent selection and the person that rang me up was both very kind and knowledgeable.

Was delighted to receive a call from the manager/owner today letting me know that a poster I had been waiting for was back in stock. I took my kids in with me to pick it up and they wanted to explore the store. I was surprised that it was really interesting to them and they both found a few treasures they were excited about. It was fun to pass on the Tune Town experience to them and see how much they enjoyed it.

I love this place so much! Amazing variety with everything from rap to punk to alternative, and a great CD and Vinyl selection! And the staff is super friendly and helpful. I REALLY recommend this place to anyone who loves collecting music! You are sure to find something you dont have/ want! 😁😀🤗

Well organized and has some great artists. However, the reason I did not give 5 stars for a review is the pretty lame experience I had with putting in a special order for 2 LPs. When I called to get an update on order progress. The owner of Tune Town informed me that he typically does not check his email I was not notified when they arrived in the store. And, when I went to pick up the records the store employee was unreceptive to me asking for them to inprove their communication, fibbing my inability to providing them contact information. I will go back again and purchase more records, but they can do better with customer service.

This place just goes on and on. Back room, giant bargain basement, you name it! They got record player, walkmans, records, CDs, tapes, DVDs, posters, shirts, pretty much all your nerding out needs. Not to mention a sizable selection of Prince-related interview and radio broadcast CD box sets that you dont just find any ol where. 11/10.

This place is great! I have purchased both new and used cds and records from them. They have a wonderful selection of new and used media to browse through in the store and they are very informative about upcoming new releases. They will also order things in for you if they dont have them. Tune Town also sometimes has special events such as Record Store Day that are fun to check out. Highly recommend them!

Best joint to meet all your music and movie needs. Vinyl (original and repro), CD, DVD, BluRay, VHS, theyve got it all. The dude that usually runs the counter is pretty dope too- great conversation.

Awesome customer service! The man was helpful when I came in for a new needle. Unfortunately, Tune Town does not sell needles but he told me where to go to buy them.

Great selection of new and used vinyl and CDs, with new releases and stock added regularly. I have picked up quite a few records and things from them over the last few years. If they don’t have something they can often order it. They also hold events during Record Store Day every year. Check it out!

Wonderful place for old and new records! I found exactly what I was looking for, and they have many dollar options to look through if you are just starting, or arent sure. They also have music, cds, and other apparel that relates to music! I will definitely return!

Great addition to the Mankato community; and a main-stay on Riverfront. The new arrivals do seem a bit high-priced to my tastes, however, the used section in the basement has many hidden $1 gems; and the World CD section may be small, but is a personal favourite of mine. DVDs and VHS tapes here are cheap, most of the former being $1 and most of the latter being 50¢. The staff are very sociable and knowledgeable about music and inventory. Recommended for anyone in the area, even if things such as Vinyl and CDs are a foreign curiosity.

I knew about this place but only recently rediscovered vinyl. Paid them a visit and not only do they have an excellent collection of records, but some awesome prices on used CDs. Absolutely has the owner-operated record store vibe that I remember so well from college.

My favorite place to go for records. There is a huge selection, everything seems priced right. Sometimes I drive down from Minneapolis just to go to Tune Town. Lots and lots of old stuff, some new sealed stuff, and even the bargain bin section offers a lot too.

Some of the older DBDs can get a little expensive. However you know they know how well if works. If it’s not that great they say that. I love it there, I literally spend hours there.

Found some interesting material, and even some gold in the plentiful $1 record selection below the primary section of the store, which has some good finds in itself, albeit a little pricey for the newly arrived/used records. Good for DVDs and VHS too, some being unique and flat out strange.

I had a collection they were interested in.They offered me $ 0.10 per lp. Looks like I might not get them back, rude and unprofessional.

Its a used CD and DVD store but also sells vinyl. They have bargain basement with movies, CDs and more vinyl. Love it!

The family owned version of Cheapo that Minneapolis wishes it had, well that may be a little much but with no other options in southern MN this place is awesome.

Our favorite place to shop for vinyl. All used material is buy 3 get 1 free, and what doesnt get used for a buy 3 get 1 gets put on a buy 10 get 1 punchcard. The buy 3 get 1 deal always applies to the least expensive of the whole lot youve selected, so its typically better to stop at 4 - if you pick out a 5th record thats cheaper than the rest, that becomes your free one.
