This happened on October 28, 2021, Thursday afternoon around 3:00PM. The owner of T-Mobile store (according to his word) Scottie accepted my payment the day before (I have my bank transaction, as evidence) gave me an awful attitude (I received a message from T-Mobile: service has been suspended). I insisted on seeing the previous day’s ledger transactions, which his co-workers did, my payment, did not exist at all in their system. Scottie called the police - thank you very much - it’s helped us. But, the question is: How is this ignorant guy can underestimate a new computer technology, and to whose pocket my money has been gone? I paid twice, and eventually got my service back.
Don’t bother to make yourself going through a bad day buying at this store. The service sucks. Is understandable mistakes happen however our last experience with the current assistant manager wasn’t not even satisfactory, a cell phone chip purchase was made with no way for them to trace the sell which was necessary after the cell phone activation went wrong so to fix the issue assistant manager’s solution was to buy another one. Inefficiently and arrogance highlights the role of this individual. Think twice to buy at this store if you want something done correctly.
Manager was rude, unhelpful, and threatening to me over the phone. Would offer no assistance for the fact that Ive been charged double my phone bill price after being swindled by that same store. Wouldnt give me his name after I asked, I said I wanted to send an email and wanted that info. Refused to give it. Absolutely ridiculous and shameful behavior. This specific store is a joke and that management is cancer
In May of 2020, my fiancé and I came into this store looking to upgrade my fiancé’s dead phone. We were happy to learn that we were eligible for an upgrade. An employee(at this point I can’t remember their name) told us that there was a promotion in which if we add a line, we could both upgrade my fiancé’s phone, and also add a new phone for myself. The employee never told us what our new bill would be, but said it would be “the same, or slightly higher” as our current bill. We walked out of the store with the understanding that we were paying off part of my old phone(which was attached to a line), my new phone, and my fiancé’s phone.Immediately afterward, our bill went from around $240 per month (already exorbitant, but you know, bad credit), to upwards of $350 per month. We obviously, immediately called customer service to break down, our bill, and they essentially said “you added extra stuff to you’re like, it’s going to cost more.” We have spent the last year through the pandemic struggling, asking many customer service representatives, to tell us why our bill was so high, and what we could do to lower it. Countless T-Mobile people have told us we didn’t have options. Looking at our bill today, I noticed we have FOUR lines, FOUR “protection plans” (we only have two devices, what are they protecting?) and only 2 devices(we had paid off the third phone at this point). So I called and said I was confused, and I wanted to remove the lines- so they did. Our new bill is projected at $192. That means because of dishonesty, or a mistake made by an employee at this store, we have paid over $1900 towards lines we were not using for 15 MONTHS. I’m BAFFLED, angry, and so upset at the dishonesty of an employee at this store, and subsequent T-Mobile customer service afterward. My fiancé called this store today, seeing who we would speak to, to resolve this issue- we aren’t vapid, we know we aren’t going to get a return of $1900- but we did want some response to this situation, even if that just meant them pointing us in the direction of the correct number to call. Whoever answered him on the phone(he refused to give his name?) was rude. Flippant. Disrespectful, and upon my fiancé saying he would/could go in to the store to resolve this issue, he claimed he was threatening him? I left a review here 9 months ago about the same situation, and we were told to call the store. But apparently, they aren’t of much help.
This is the WORST store I have ever been in. Asked an employee named Scottie to please look up my account as we wanted to switch from Sprint to T-Mobile. He told me I can do it from my phone but asked him if he could please see where I am at and what is needed to switch. He said You can do it yourself and not waste my time! Are you joking?! The store was dead! He was the rudest (as well as the other guy in there too) but DO NOT go in if you want good service. Go to the T-Mobile by Fred Meyers!!! Excellent customer service!!!!
Helpful & friendly staff, but they werent able to sign me up as they werent able to port my other phone numbers. One minor complaint, they forgot to cancel two accounts that they made for me. I discovered that, when I found out that I was going to receive a bill for an account that I didnt sign up for.
Agent lied to me about how much my bill was going to go up after asking several times for the exact total of the new bill. was told it would increase 20 dollars but it went up more than 70. Unethical business, do not bring your business here. Oh, and they changed my service plan after being specifically told not to.
I made a few calls to check the stock at some of the locations near me today. After talking to Aliyah on the phone she was extremely polite, let me know the options they had and what they could order for me. They didn’t have quite what I was looking for so I made a call to another location. The person who answered couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough.. extremely rude. I immediately called back to this Maple Valley location and scheduled an appointment with Aliyah. When my husband and I arrived to upgrade our phones, she was ready to serve us and super friendly. We had great conversation, she helped us set up our phones and walked us through the new updates, all while helping other customers who came in. As someone who manages a team in the customer service industry I was extremely pleased with my experience. Aliyah is such a gem!!
Edit: i just got my bill in the mail and realized the rep didnt add insurance like I asked and he said no problem. So i call customer service and oh sorry its too late. I havent even been a customer for 2 months and It feels like tmobile is intentionally trying to screw me over. Nothing is wrong with my phone I just wanted to protect it. Changing my rating to one star as this was clearly important to me. My bad for trusting he followed through! Was in earlier tonight to get a new screen protector on my new phone and have staff put it on for me as I had screwed up doing it myself. Staff was very friendly and comfortable to be around. Wish I had came in store instead of online to set up plan as the online rep picked out the case and screen protector for me when I said I needed them. Implying this phone didnt have other (better) options. So not only did I get the glass screen protector but a better case to protect my GS20 ultra as well. Doesnt make sense to get an expensive phone only to cut corners on protecting it.
I asked for help to reset my pin and to transfer phones. I was told, no, i will not help you.
This Store is a FRAUD! They fired a Mgr who did lots of shady stuff. Then the new manager made promises after promise. Never came to pass. These guys made major contract fraud and just keep offering bill credits instead of fixing the issue. DO NO TRUST THEM!!
This place has a mixture of werewolves and vampires. The associates are the zombies have no clue about their products. The managers are the werewolves and vampires who would do anything to lure you into a situation that actually makes you spend more. Its a story as old as time with mobile phone institutions. Please be careful and read their contracts. These contracts are much like a casino. The house always wins.
The staff at Tmobile Fed Wy were so great. To Giancarlo and and the team ... thanks and Happy Holidays!
Ive had great service every time I have been to T-Mobile. I have never had to wait for long periods of time.
Switching to T-Mobile has not been and easy transition. This store is a T-Mobile contractor and dose not know what they are doing. We switched 3 lines over to because they offered the free upgrade to the iPhone 11. The salesman looked at all the phones and said they qualify for the free upgrade so we decided to go ahead and switch to T-Mobile. After an hour and a half in the store he couldn’t complete the transfer of carriers. He told us to come back the next morning at 10 AM and he would finish us up. We showed up at 10 AM and he called in sick and none of the other employees knew what was going on. The salesman had to start over again with the carrier changeover. He looked at our phones and noticed that one had a chip and did not qualify for the upgrade. we end up just upgrading to the phones to iPhone 11. We had to go back 5 times the first week to get my phone working correctly. Then I get a notice 2 weeks later that the two phones we traded in was not correctly looked at and Evaluated correctly by this T-Mobile contractor Store and we do not qualify for the full iPhone 11 free upgrade. Not I have to pay for T-Mobiles training issues with their contractors. Why do I need to pay extra when I was told everything was good when I signed the contract. T-Mobile should go after their contractor store not the customer. I wish I would have just stayed with Verizon.
I am INCREDIBLY disappointed in my experience at this store. At the beginning of the pandemic we went in to go replace my fiancé’s phone, which was 4 years old and barely functioning. When we arrived, we knew we had a small past due balance(which we were prepared to pay). We started discussing various options with the salesman, my fiancé had picked out a newer but modest phone- until the salesman started talking about an offer for the newest Samsung- he essentially told us due to the promotion that it would be cheaper out of pocket that day for us to go with the Samsung- great! We started checking out. He then starts telling us that if we add a line(that is connected to nothing) we can get an Iphone SE for $100 that day. I am an iPhone user so this was exciting to me- I start asking how that will reflect our bill, and he literally says “I can move some things around, your bill MIGHT even be cheaper.” I am not an idiot- I didn’t expect our phone bill to be cheaper, we would be adding two new phones and a line to our plan- but I didn’t expect the result. After all the schmoozing, we ultimately decided to get both phones. We check out, pay for both the phones and our bill, and leave. Looking back on the situation, he never once showed us any documentation about how much our new bill would be. The next day we woke up to a bill for $192- somehow, the person had just asked us to pay the PAST DUE balance and not the entire bill. Had we known that we were going to get hit with an almost $200 bill the next day, that may have changed our spending habits in store.Come our next billing cycle, we were shocked, our bill had gone up over $120. We now pay more for our phone than we do for our car.Upon calling into t-mobile corporate, and asking how our bill had gone up so much, why an employee never told us what our new bill would be, why an employee told us our bill MIGHT BE CHEAPER, they essentially told us: go back to the store, there is nothing we can do, and there is nothing you can do to lower your bill.Everything the salesman said to us in store was in an attempt to get us to pay more money, and they were blatantly deceptive about how much we would be paying after we left the store. We can no longer afford t-mobile, and corporate has done absolutely nothing to work with us(even with COVID). This experience has left a sour taste in our mouths and we will be leaving t-mobile as soon as we can.
Those people dont know what they are doing at all, mean and hysterical, worst experience ever, dont go!
Kolton & Omar were amazing, they made the entire process of switching over from Verizon extremely simple for my wife and I. Ive never worked with associates who have treated me so well and valued my time as much as they did. I didnt feel like I was being sold when walking in, like I did at Sprint and AT&T, they gave us what we needed for a great price. The setup process was quick and simple, they even got all the data moved from our old phones to our new phones in record time. Definitely here to stay with T-Mobile, their service in store was phenomenal and their cell service outside the store is just as great!
Gabe helped me with transferring service from Verizon wireless which I’ve been with for 20 years and now I have made the plunge. Why haven’t I done this sooner?!Gabe is awesome, knowledgeable and super helpful and resourceful. I would recommend anyone to pop on in to see if he or anyone else can make your life easier.Thank you again for a great experience. And very pleased I made the leap.
Kolton with a K was great. Super helpful and very knowledgeable. Took his time explaining the differences between each phone. Scott was also helpful when we had an issue the next day with my sons phone. Both of them were friendly, and made up for a previously bad experience with another employee. Very nice kids, with great customer service skills..
This store, by far has the best customer service of any t mobile store I have ever gone to. When I walked in, Scott greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly hello. He was very efficient and knowledgeable and he helped me convert from a Samsung to an iPhone. With Scott’s wonderful help it was painless. I would recommend Scott to anyone looking for a new phone!!!
My favorite T Mobile store. Always helpful. Never try to oversell.
Scott Brodie, has been of much help to us and find that he is one of the best at his job. Weve come in more times we can count and deserves any promotion given. He had AMAZING customer service and is always a wonderful person to conversate with. I always leave happy everytime I go into T-MOBILE. Thank you very much.
Mango helped me transfer my data from an android to an iPhone easily. Answered my questions and got me out of the store without any headaches or issues. Ill definitely come back if I need any help in the future! :)
After 14 years of being with AT&T we had finally had enough!! These guys hooked up three phones for us and switched us over as fast as they could and did it all with a smile on there face, we had an amazing experience with them and i love how you can walk into the store and get laughs and smiles, verses the AT&T in covington where they were all rude and mean! Thank you maple valley t-mobile for saving us money and giving us a great plan and doing it as fast as you could! We love our new phones and service.
So thrilled that you opened a store in Maple Valley! Ive been at the store a couple of times and the employees are so personable and friendly. A big thanks to Austin for your thoroughness and professional expertise! I will recommend friends and family!
I walked into this T-Mobile today and was helped my mango he not only answered all the questions I had but ones I did even think to ask. My credit definitely isnt stellar and he went the extra mile to get me the best possible deal for what I needed. I ended up leaving with more merchandise than I planned yet spending less money than I expected the guys a miracle worker I am definitely making this my home store
Just switched from Verizon to T-mobile. The staff at the location in Maple Valley are very knowledgeable and very friendly. We worked with Melissa and Gabe and they both answered every question we had and made us our decision to switch very easy. Highly recommend this location.
Assistant Manager Mango was amazing, incredibly helpful! He went above and beyond, the best customer service Ive received in a long time. I would highly recommend!
The team is knowledgeable and friendly! Ash was very helpful and patient with helping me with my data transfer! Highly recommend this T-Mobile!
The manager and associates here are very personable and knowledgeable. After having a bad experience at another store where our transaction was messed up they were able to figure out what went wrong and fix the problem for us while being understanding of of our situation. Would highly recommend this T-Mobile branch.
My husband went in to talk about getting new phones. They were rude and didn’t answer the questions he asked.
Gabe & Kourtni were awesome! They were helpful, fun and totally down-to-Earth! They showed us everything before we left the store so we werent figuring it out on our own. Finally a store that has customer service figured out! 🙌🏽
Had a great experience today with everyone at the Maple Valley store with updating my phone. Felt very welcomed. Thanks Guys!
Gabe the store manager was extremely helpful and fun to work with. He made the experience seamless and fun. Very friendly store and smiling faces. We will be referring friends to T-Mobile!!
Came in to the store to swap out phone that was malfunctioning. Then nice guy helping me made a mistake(I know this can happen) at the end and had to start the entire 2 hour process over. He was very apologetic. It was almost closing so they couldnt compete the task again. I had to come back on a busy Saturday and wait almost 3 hours for everything to complete. When I asked the manager to provide me with a credit for the inconvenience, his response was less than friendly and he begrudgingly gave me a $10 credit...$10 for wasting 2+ hours of my time and changing my familys Saturday plans... that was not my fault. He acted shocked and surprised that I would ask for anything. After he left his employees told me that he doesnt really care about his customers, just results. I am going to be upgrading my phone in the next few months and I will not be coming to the Maple Valley Tmobile.
Had a simple, friendly, and professional experience with a representative named Tanner. He was super helpful.Would recommend
The staff was outstanding, 5 stars for sure! Gabe the store manager, his experience and attitude topped it and Molly a t-mobile associate was so awesome and helpful!!
Thank you Kolton! Such a nice young man! I was totally confused about how to use a few features on a product and he took his time with me explaining everything and was so friendly. Also he definitily knows his product well. Very smart he knows his job! Thank you Kolton
Gabe and Austin are the nicest, most efficient, and plain awesome reps Ive dealt with in a long time! Thank you guys! Austins time for full install of TWO Tech 21 screen protectors all the way to putting the phones back in the boxes and in the bag was 1 minute 36 seconds!
Clean. Good service.
The assistant manager Mango and the sales rep Austin really helped me out with all my technical problems and even helped me transfer my info!! Outstanding customer service and outstanding service!! I would totally 100% reccommend this place to everyone!!
Always more friendly and professional, then the Covington location
The store manager, Gabe helped us through the entire process to switch from Sprint. He was friendly and helpful breaking down plan options and customizing our needs. Through the process, he wasn’t ever pushy or judgemental at all.
Tanner on the sales team was polite and helpful. Best service town!
Very helpful and personable reps. Explained everything up front and didnt feel like I was being swindled in any way.
Tanner and store manager really know there stuff! Thanks for all your honesty and knowledge.Previous VERIZON WIRELESS customer.
The staff is very uninformed and do not know their products. I also wanted to look at the note but they lost the stylus. It was a waste of my time to even stop in.
Great customer service from Austin and Mango! So nice to have a store closer to us!
Amazing customer service! Helped me with everything and got me a great new phone ! Kourtni was amazing and so helpful !!
Worst store customer service in my 3 yrs being a T-Mobile customer. The associate was very polite but had no clue what to do. Someone needs to step up and train the employees.
Very helpful and informative. i would recommend this store to all my friends gabe is awsome
Outstanding customer experience. These guys, specially Courtni and Gayb will assist you in any way they can. They will go out of the way to make every customer feel special by welcoming, and help them with their needs. You will absolutely not get that treatment at Covington and Bellevue stores where the primary focus is on commission, not customers. I would recommend this place, no doubt! Keep up the great work guys!
We went in to ask some questions about international data roaming, the employee told us about the result was:He Googled it and it said,,,,,,,,,,,OMG I know how to use Google too! What a store hired such employee!Anyway,We didnt get the answer we wanted,we gave up!We just had so simple questions, and we didnt get the professional help!
They were very helpful, friendly and I will tell people to come here to get all their questions answered. Even though I am not tech savvy they were very patient with me.
Gabe and crew did a great job setting up plan and phone.
Horrible store. This is not a corporate store....save yourself issues and use a corporate store. We purchased 2 S8 phones and have had nothing but issues from day 1. They mixed up sim cards, couldnt port numbers correctly, the employees didnt really didnt understand anything..always having to ask someone else. One of our new phones crashed....and the assistant Manager said it was our fault as we had no backup...and we had backup..we went to the awseome Covington Corp store and they pulled our pictures, numbers, and everything back up. Totally Clueless at the Maple Valley T-Mobile store..dont use them or buy from them...you will be sorry.
Gabe helped me upgrade several phones and lower my bill. Outstanding customer service!
Amazing experience! Tanner did a great job and the whole Maple Valley team!!
I always enjoy going to this store they are always kind and if I ever go in because of a problem they are always willing to help or possibly calling their co worker tanner for help if he isnt working that day.
Great service from both Scott and Tanner.
A man kid was being so rude to my mom I was going to cry
Great customer service.
There badass
Clueless Idiots
