If I could have left a lower review I would. I got a quote for my tires & the representative told me he would call me back when they arrive. I explained to him how important it was that I get them since I was about to make an 1800 mile road trip. He assure me that he would call back when they arrived. When I didn’t hear back from him, I called several days later. The other representative said that they had left a voicemail but I told them that I never received it. They said I did and then told me later in the same conversation that I didn’t have a voicemail set up and then told me it wasn’t their job to play phone tag. The amount of ignorance that the workers have and the lack of accountability blows my mind. I would never place trust in a company like that to put tires on my vehicle. Very rude & condescending towards women.BTW-they knew I was about to drop $800 on 4 tires & they still talked to me like it was my fault they never followed up with me. Too much competition around this area for a place like that to turn away service because of pure laziness.

I came in to fix a tire but knew I may need to replace more than one. What I did not know was how much time I had left on the other tires. Their team was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining in detail what I needed. The Service was quick and easy. Very Happy to have this place in my neighborhood.

They helped me with my non repairable tire on my cross country moving trip. So grateful I made it safely!

The people that work here are phenomenal, each person I came in contact with was kind. I had to take my car in last minute because I was having some issues with accelerating and they were able to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday. When they found what was wrong with my car they fixed it and I was good to go but the customer service did not stop there. They told me if anything were to come up within the next week or so I could bring it back and they would do the diagnostic tests again free of charge- I’ve never run into treatment like this from an auto place I am so used to be charged an arm and a leg for everything so Dobbs definitely earned a loyal customer. Thank you to everyone who helped (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your names!)

As far as car shops go, Dobbs in Maplewood is THE best—I always have a good experience with them. They are fast but thorough, and always flexible.

I dropped my car off for its inspection and it failed, but Dobbs got the part and had it fixed and ready to go immediately. Everyone I spoke with, in-person or on the phone was friendly and helpful and in a great mood. This is why I keep going back - great service and my car gets fixed!

Won’t inspect a vehicle with a check engine light on and also won’t work on a lifted vehicle. Dealer lifted vehicles may receive service though.The error code causing my vehicle’s check engine light is for a bad gas cap.Protecting the business is one thing but choosing not to help a customer because of information they volunteered seems a little weak hearted.

Woke up to a screw in my tire. They were able to get me in and fixed the same day!

Staff were extremely friendly and polite. My emissions test was taken care of in about 45 mins. Very satisfied

April 20, 2021- Date of ServiceMy experience with Dobbs in Maplewood, Mo. was quick and painless. Had to be admitted to the hospital and on the way hit something that punctured my tire. Made it to the parking garage, stayed a while. Afterwards, my son picked me and the tire up and went straight to Dobbs! They had the tire we needed in stock! And we were on our way! The guy that waited on us was very helpful, and we were on our way, price and service was awesome...5 star at the least!!!

Said it would be two hours and it only took one. I’m happy.

I had a tire bulge after curbing my car, made my appointment that day, and was serviced within 24 hours. Technicians were transparent about the tire replacement I was having done and were very educated on the process. They even had the exact tires I wanted transferred to the store same-day. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

I popped a tire the night before. I had to leave town the next day at 2pm and couldn’t make it there on the spare. They got me in and a new tire on within 2 hours and I couldn’t be happier with their customer service and efforts to get it fixed before I had to leave!

Dropped off for an oil change at 7am... they were done by 9. they didnt try to upsell me, didnt try to push anything extra, and were polite the entire time I interacted with them.

Having visited another tire and battery store recently my experience at dobbs Maplewood was completely different in the BEST way possible. Ryan was able to fit us in and displayed professionalism at all times. I cant say enough how my positive experience today with dobbs contrasted with the unfortunate, difficult poorly customer services, badly enabled, and dirty experience at NTB S. KINGSHIGHWAY--used to go there but this was a pleasantly different experience.

I went in to drop off my car and the guy at the front was on a call, and there were two people in front of me. The phone call took a while, and we waited patiently. Then some lady comes in behind me. He gets off the phone and points to the two guys in front of me asking what they need. Then he points to her skipping right over me for whatever reason. She says oh I’m just dropping off, which is what I was doing too. She says she’s in a hurry so he just takes her keys and number. Then goes back to the other guy who took a long time because someone else was paying for the bill over the phone. So why did she get to jump ahead of everyone when I was there for the exact same thing? Do we not understand how lines work? I’m very frustrated with this experience. No ones time is more important than someone else’s. Very bad customer service.

The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They shared with me recommended services outside of what I was there for but I didnt feel pressured at all. I think anyone can appreciate that! Speedy service with a smile (I assume because you know...masks and COVID.).

This location looked very busy but I dropped off my car and it was ready for pickup a few hours later. Everyone was extremely friendly and gave me a discount on the oil change even though I did not mention a coupon or anything. Highly recommend.

Dobbs Tire & Auto in Maplewood is fantastic! The staff is super nice, the team always does a great job with my car, and they complete the service in a timely manner. I really appreciated their laptop bar for working at while you wait.

I have been to this location twice now. Once to repair a hole in my tire, and more recently to fix a bad alignment and oil change from another shop. Their customer service is efficient with scheduling, and very helpful over the phone. They even went into detail about costs, explaining that if they only needed to align 2 of the 4 wheels then they would charge less, and that is exactly what they did. It is difficult to say what else they did right because both of my experiences with them went so smoothly. I would definitely recommend this location.

Really unhappy with how my visit went. Came in to see about getting my bulb replaced on my headlight that had just gone out. Without even looking at my car they gave me a $278 estimate and told me to drop it back off tomorrow. Went to a different location right after and got it replaced immediately in 10 minutes for free. Sketchy and scammy.

I had no knowledge of tires going into Maplewood Dobbs but, when I walked I felt like I chose the right tire and had a good basic understanding of how to pick the right tire for me!

Everyone was so nice and friendly. Got the work done faster then I expected.

I recently bought a jeep from a woman that had all her service done at Maplewood Mo Dobbs. She spent 1300 dollars in a year there and had a window regulator replaced....it wasnt on the track...she took it it...they said they fixed it and it still didnt work correctly. The jeep had a bad intermittent vibration that she brought it to this location to diagnose 3 times. They never figured it out and charged her about 40 dollars for a visual inspection each time....I have had the car a couple days and I already have the window back on the track working correctly. I figured out the radiator accessory fan was broken in half and that it was causing the horrible vibration intermittently within about a half hour. When I bought the jeep it was out of coolant. I figured out the radiator cap was bad and replaced it and no more coolant leak ... apparently they have a transferable warranty on their parts if they break I could take it there and get it fixed for free... I would not take that jeep back to them even if they did the work for free .. I would not trust this location! Do yourself a favor and do not go to Maplewood Dobbs.

I would recommend the Dobbs facility on Manchester in Maplewood, Mo to any one needing car support.I found the manager, Ryan Purdom, to be very knowledgeable and courteous with all the information regarding my vehicle and what it needed in replacing tires. He gave me all the options and prices and also explained, courteously, all the facts with regard to replacing a brake light bulb on my vehicle.I am planning on returning for the tires as soon as consult my budget.Pat Fitzgerald

I can only recall having one issue ever with Dobbs and it was resolved (this was years ago.) Visit today was quick and efficient. I personally like this location.

I had the best experience at Dobbs Maplewood. After a long day at work, I discovered my rear tire was flat. I changed it but my mood was sour. I brought in my old tire and was greeted by a very professional front desk staff that changed my mood around. The shop guys were really great too. Thanks for turning a negative into a positive.

Worst business ever, haven’t tried them since high school(which they missed diagnosed my truck) but this time to buy a battery from them, 6 months later the battery is dead. Take it back up there, they tell me they have to run a diagnostic check, for $40+ which I reluctantly do, they come back and tell me every thing is fine that’s it’s just the battery. THEY TOLD ME THEY SOLD ME AN OLD BATTERY AND THATS WHY IT DIED!! Which brings me to today, 3 months after replacing that battery, my battery is dead. My car died exactly the same way as last time. I take it in, low and behold they CHARGE ME another $40+ to run a diagnostic on it and it’s the alternator so now they’ve charged me TWICE for the same problem. Didn’t apologize for not catching it the first time. Nope, they clearly don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to cars, but they do know how to run they’re credit card machine real well!

I had 3 fairly major repairs completed the same day I brought my car in for a diagnosis. My Dobbs team gave me rides home & back while they worked, and it only took them about 3 hours! Chris was very accommodating to my requests, and answered my questions in clear, plain language. Never had a bad experience at Dobbs. And the facility is spotlessly clean.

I’ve always had great experiences at Dobbs! I typically go to the one downtown since it is close to work, but went to the Maplewood location for the first time today. Everyone was friendly, the service was timely, and each aspect of the additional service I needed done on my car was explained to me. I’ll be returning for sure!

Maplewood Dobbs managers & technicians are always terrific! Today my car had to be towed in b/c the car broke down in rush hour traffic. Matt got me going on a plan, Chris gave me all the options & costs asap & Kyle shuttled me back & forth. These men are always like this! I have been coming here for 20 years & will continue even if I get a newer car!

They failed my car twice for the same thing without actually looking at it the second time. They got real huffy when I started asking questions. Quoted over $1700 to fix it but then I took it to another mechanic who said there was nothing wrong with what they Found but he did find 2 things they missed which did end up being legitimate.Will not do business with them again.

They do great with tires but both times I went the last few months they’ve tried to scam me into paying for unnecessary repairs. First was a worn tie rod and second was a camber bolt. Both of which were checked by a trusted mechanic and were found to be just fine. Apparently $300 for two tires wasn’t enough in sales for them.If you need a tire or set of tires, they’re fantastic. Great customer service and decent time but, and I hate to say it, I don’t trust them with much more than that anymore.

While going on a camping trip we got a flat tire on our trailer close to the Dobbs in Maplewood, MO. They got us in and fixed up within an hour. Great service! Great Employees! Thank you Dobbs!

Was visiting the city for a couple days and had a tire emergency. Showed up here riding the spare tire. They got us two new tires (another was worn to the point it was going to make us uneven) even going so far as to run across town to get a tire from another store to get us the best price. We were so appreciative.
