The cop they keep here at night is on a power trip. Accused my boyfriend and I of stealing a $5 bag of lemons and made us come back into the store to verify. No apology afterwards either. Wont be returning as I dont appreciate unfounded suspicion and hassle.
Evelyn is the sweetest cashier ever! There was a guy in line being rude and she handled it very well. Shes lovely to talk to! I love seeing her Everytime I come in. She also taught me how to exchange my water jugs to save money!
Deli worker was very very slow and then was very rude. Won’t be returning, terrible service experience.
Don in Dairy Hooked it up! I came in with my two little units on a Monday. He could see that I was mega sad facing about them not having Organic Valley in 1 gallon jugs. He Look at me and he said just have them price 2 half gallons for the 1 gallon price. That brother saved me almost 6 bux! Keep it real Don!
Great deals with fun run and beautiful stores. Some stuff was sold out but when a retailer has fantastic deals it happens. Was happy overall.
I tried to go in with my friend who has a physical disability and the security guard wouldnt let him in his mobility scooter after a bunch of arguing he finally said that we could get one of the scooters that they had at the entrance it was a lot of work for him to switch scooters but eventually he got in and we went in the store bought our stuff and left we were standing outside when the security guard came out and started making fun of my friend and called him Forrest Gump because of his leg braces we threatened to sue him and then he claimed that the manager wanted us to leave or he would call the cops so we left
Even tho they did not have the decoration cake I wanted for my birthday at the bakery, Christine was helpful and had a good attitude. Made me feel very special and I was welcomed there. Thank you!!
Not a cub shopper anymore. I cant eat corn and they are not dedicated to serving the organic and health crowd which means you have to supply special food. They supply some but at higher prices then whole foods. You will never sell it people. If you want to have that food it has to be cheaper to bring in customers and guess what you can make it cheaper because thats not where your main revenue is coming from. Also, people are tired your the way you do you deals. Forget the coupons and do a different system where you dont have to look and happen to find d the deal but its right on the shelf. Makes more sense. Stop with the huge over sized prepared food and treat section. Remake it into a lunch and a smaller treat area and make is a inviting place to sit! Not the couple benches you have
A very nice supermarket for getting grocery. Parkings are plenty, they had both self checkout and regular cashier checkout if you still prefer that. Produce are clean and fresh, good clean aisles on each section of the store and finding what I need is no problem. Very friendly and professional workers there too whether if youre just asking for help or needs assistance at the self checkout. Definitely worth a visit if you need to shop for food and condiments.
This is one of the nicest Cub Foods Ive been to in a long time. It was easy to access the parking lot. It also has a connecting like Hub place for buses across the street from it, so is easy to take the bus here. There is a liquor store, TCF Bank and pharmacy inside! They also sell stamps here. They are open 24 hours a day. The produce looked delicious along with the meats. The employees were were helpful and nice. The weights were not long even though there was a lot of people due to it being day before Easter and on the first weekend of the month.
Biggest. Cub. Foods. Ive ever seen. These guys even have the big Jelly Belly self serve dispensers and so many flavors available it feels like a candy shop. Rest of the store is evenly stocked on most things you could really ever need. Ive seen things in this cub that youd only be able to get in department superstores. Built in restaurants, enormous deli, tons of fresh popcorn and coffee. This one is a jack of all trades, comparable to a little indoor mall. This gem was worth the 30 minute drive as I discovered it unintentionally. 100% recommend.
Great market to grocery shop in the area of Rice St. / Hwy 36.
It’s amazing to me how a store full of employees could care less about their customers. Find a HyVee or Lunds to buy your groceries. They will appreciate your business unlike this Cub.
Great Cub use it all the same way so try it out and you will not regret stopping and giving these people a try thank you all for giving this place a shot thanks.
This is one of my favorites to shop at, store is clean stocked up and people are helpful thanks to the employees who work there
Good prices, locally grown produce, fruits and the freshest Kemps milk you can get!
Not a safely managed Cub Foods location to go to during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both customers and employees alike hardly practice safety precautions. Little to no social distancing, almost everyone gets away with not wearing a mask, conditions of the facilitys floors and surfaces are heavily contaminated, and they even kept their water fountains on while other locations have turned theirs off to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. Gave it 2 stars because the only good thing about this location is its TCF bank and its the closest TCF in my area. Overall, Id suggest going to a cleaner (and maybe newer) Cub Foods.
Very clean store. Stuff is easy to find and the aisles are clearly marked and kept free of boxes (unless you are there during the wee hours of the night). The deli is great and theres always service with a smile.
Not the best CUB to go to. Cleanliness is a huge factor. Deli looked and was dirty. Old food. Super slow service. Employees shouldnt stroll your store looking very savage and rubbish. Its about personal hygiene and expectations. Clothes were all dirty. Not approachable. Tidy this place up. Needs a thorough spring cleaning. One of the worst Cubs I have ever shopped.
This is so convenient for me and they are so awesome I always shop for my familys food, they have almost every thing,
You have to catch there sales to get a good price. I only go there for meat. Usually have really nice sales 5, 6, dollars of per pound. Great quality in there meat to. The rest if not on sale is way over priced. I can understand 10 to 20 cent. But dollars. Now thats ridiculous.
Very empathetic and understanding. And the help is very respectful
Its a great grocery store has all you need and its always clean. Has great deals on different things.
Very helpful great staff. And clean environment.
Great public bathrooms..large parking lot.
I bought 3 items from the deli, then about 3 minutes later I noticed some artisan bread. There were signs posted that said they would slice bread for free. I walked back to the deli/bakery area. There was no one in the bakery area but a deli associate said she would be with me in a sec. I waited patiently. I didn’t time the wait, but it seemed rather long. I continued to wait patiently. Then a man walked up to the deli and said he’d like a 2 piece dinner. The associate I had been waiting for stopped her project immediately and started helping the man. I discarded the bread and walked away. Um . . . Why did I get that kind of treatment? This isn’t the first time this has happened at Cub. I have noticed that Cub deli associates tend to wait on male customers first. (Taller, more noticeable?) Start seeing female customers please. And if you’re not certain who was there first . . .Ask! Most men will graciously step back then; but most will continue with their order if the “Who was here first” question isn’t asked.
I checked out at 4:57pm and noticed an error on my receipt and was told to get it fixed at customer service. The line is 8 people deep and one customer service cashier. Its now. 5:20pm and Im still in line. They need more than 1 cashier in customer service. I kinda felt bad for the cashier because you could tell she was trying to hurry and was still courteous even though the long line was out of her control.
Diane and the whole crew in the deli department has been an INCREDIBLE help to me. I order large platters about 2 times per week and they never fail to impress me. THANK YOU deli department for everything. I will keep coming back!
Very clean. Wish they had a bigger checkout section considering most of the cashiers are bored while the self check out has the worlds longest line but the employees are so friendly and the store is surprisingly quite clean for the amount of volume
Great cashiers. Trying to grab a few things just to get us by you know milk, cereal, bananas, bread etc.... well my money was funny and my change was strange so i was using a gift card and came up short i think 2.49 after i already took the granola bars n some other things the kids wanted. The cashier offered to cover it out his own pocket. I said hold on and we tried 3 different credit cards and i had it on the 3rd one but it was the fact that he offered and had patience until i got the right card.
I was amazed at how much of a changed. More employees spoke to customers. Still need to work on more employees. But much better
I love Cub stores. Great deli food.
Great place to shop awesome staff
Grocery shopping is one of my least favorite tasks. Yet I was able to endure the the trials of this shopping excursion. I feel that I was able endure and return home with with my trophy of the most valued hot sauce. Cub made this excursion a pleasurable.
Very clean store. Stuff is easy to find and the aisles are clearly marked and kept free of boxes (unless you are there during the wee hours of the night). The deli is great and theres always service with a smile.
Even tho were in the middle of an pandemic this store is always clean kept and organized and the cashiers are friendly i just want to say that the employees are brave and heroic during these ugly times. Thank you
Great people and a great place to shop. There is good quality food here.
Great people and a great place to shop. There is good quality food here.
An ok store, but can use a little more help in the cleaning area and the help I feel can be more available for customer needs.
The Pharmacy at this location is unbelievably great! They go above and beyond to refill my prescriptions and to make sure Im able to REFILL what I need on time. They contact the doctors and get everything approved in time so I dont run out of the prescriptions I need to survive. They are always friendly and always answer my questions and if they dont know the answer they find out the answer and let me know.
All sale at items were in stock and plentiful which was amazing cuz some stores arent that way cashier lines were no more than three deep and the cash I had was very friendly and talkative
This place is well it is what it is a grocery store for all your needs staff are to be desired but that is a little bit of everywhere
When ur at a good one the food is fresh and its clean and well stocked. Staff is friendly. But some are not like this at all
I was hungry and went to this Cub. I located the chicken nuggies with ease, I also was able to procure some fries and a Dr.Pepper... thanks Cub
This store is one of the best places to shop, ever!
Love this place very busy, but still very satisfied what I need to shop. Friendly staff and employees, but short on the employees at night not everyone works at night when it gets very busy. I use to work here and its great place to work if you work with the right employees they are very friendly some isnt they might make you wait 15 minutes more before getting your break without letting you know just a heads up.
What is our friendly very helpful
I go to Cubs once in a while. They have wonderful bakery! Nom nom!
Clean, well maintained, and large selection. Has a nice ethnic food section that reflects the community demographics.
Clean, Quick, Great quality meat and fruit.
Being a Saturday it was crowded but I got what I needed. Everyone seemed patient and I noticed that people were even letting others get in line in front of them.
Always have what Im looking for.
I lost my appetite for fried chicken for awhile... Saturday afternoon I ordered the 12pc chicken dinner. As I was waiting on my food i noticed the person handling the food did not wash her hands, have a hair net on, or put on gloves. I IMMEDIATELY told her nevermind and walked away. She caught an attitude in which i did not care. Im not going to serve my family food where you didnt even sanitize your hands or put on gloves for the safety of your customers. Overall at the store the staff are nice though.
New items such as popcorn get you as you walk in the door. Always find whats on my list at cub.
I was amazed at how much of a changed. More employees spoke to customers. Still need to work on more employees. But much better
Its pretty clean inside. And the employees are very helpful. They have a butcher on duty to help slice your meat the way you want it. Produce is always fresh.
We walked up to the deli counter and he young lady behind the counter walked up and said nothing. After I said hi she still said nothing. We put down our groceries and walked out and will never return. Its called customer service!
I called twice to see if they have an item in stock and they were not helpful at all.
Im from out of town and wanted to buy cheese and crackers. The signs indicating what each aisle contains is only for the first half of the aisle. Go to the other end of the aisles and youll finally find crackers.Cheeses are located in at least three dirrent areas; four if you count the stand-alone display with the Laughing Cow cheese, which is what I was looking for.I suppose that if youre a regular here, its simple. But for a first time shopper, I wandered around quite a bit.
Meat counter was very modern for a steak lover. Great selection of beef, but awesome chicken and sausage options as well. All very modern with refrigeration etc. Love My Cub.
Clean an grat customer service
Fair prices and good quality, very good customer service.
Nice place to shop, the ppl. That work there are friendly & helpful.. Prices are just right
Nicely stocked meat deli. This location is much cleaner and better than the maplewood location.
They never have enough staff at the check out and the self service is a long line. I think some of the prices are little big high.
I used to love this location but since they remodeled its so unorganized cant find anything and it still looks like it needs a gut job just tear it down and rebuild this location i got so mad they dont listen to us loyal customers it was better before
Great place to shop for all your needs. This store is clean and the service is great and the workers are receptive to your request especially at the meat and deli. Great job.
I shopped at Maplewood Cub Foods today, and was very impressed. They have everything I normally buy... Plenty items to choose from... Nice they carry kitchen items too!
Since the improved the produce section, it has been a huge disappointment. Fresh doesnt exist. On the plus side, Ive gotten to check out Aldi up the street.
Ive always liked this Cub foods. It seems bigger and well laid out. It seems to be very well maintained and well stocked. The employees are always helpful.
Typical cub foods with a good selection of products and reasonable prices. Clean, nice people attending, everything is conveniently arranged... nothing much to say.
They have a great variety, and their chicken is like heaven!!
My partner and I visit this cub often, and each time I get more and more disappointed. This last visit, the deli clerk slapped our fried chicken in a bag, without asking if we needed anything else and turned their back to us. While we hovered waiting for another clerk, the second clerk turned to us and acted exasperated that we wanted something else. I get that its busy and customer service isnt the best work, but it wasnt busy. Once we got to the check out line, we realized we were overcharged- we were charged for 5 breasts when we actually got 1 leg, 3 thighs and a breast. Be careful when you go to the deli- make sure they do not overcharge you.
It has been remodeled. It look nice. I like the new ailes etc.
We have called the meat department a couple of times and they are more than willing to help you out. if you go there say hi from Frank and Jolene
Best cakes I have ever ordered here!!!! Will continue to be a loyal customer!
They have the friendliest people working there everyone was so helpful as I am a disability person they help me find things they had an awesome Roseville soccer girls team the begged my groceries for me and since I had to wait for Metro Mobility for over an hour every one of the employees that came by me asked me how I was doing they were very concerned I will love and always go I transferred my drugs my medicines to come there from now on its just was it very awesome experience and a buddys everybody should go there thank you
It has a large selection of everything. Its a decent sized cub. Very busy. They often run out of my brand of tobacco products constantly, and say they are not allowed to order more than what they already do. Which makes me shop at wallmart more often. But cub is closer. Other than that its a good store.
Highest prices in the TC, I always remember who I H8 shopping here .. Seriously
I was there early. The packaged salads were not stocked. The salad I was looking for was on sale and completely empty😕 The clerk at checkout was very friendly.
Standard issue Cub. They have a separate liquor store attached, which is nice. I wish the hot food bar had some more choices. They do have a decent size kitchen gadget section.
Gotta love cub 😍😀
Kool place to shop
They are spendy. When they have sales you cant beat them. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Loved their popcorn, Ill have to grab more when were in Roseville again.
My favorite grocery store!👭😊🙏
They have a good seection of choices at competeive prices
There needs to be a dollar isle like some of the others do. But otherwise its satisfactory so far.......... WiFi could have stronger signal as well
Good store, always seems theyre out of a ton of stuff. Especially at night. Shelves are very poorly stocked.
They have some very good buys in the fish and meat department. If youre disabled theyre more than helpful bagging you purchases for you.
Whats not to like? When we were visiting my dad at the Good Samaritan home in nearby St Paul we got dinner here a lot. The deli is a little old school for a family of vegetarians.
Cub Foods thats a good place to shop for you local grocery needs check it out today
Always hit or miss just as bad as the casino
Got everything i needed no problems will go back
I dont understand why items are stacked so high on the shelves. The milk I like is always at the top and I cannot reach it. Im not that short. I cant believe no one else hasnt had any issues with this. Plus staff are somewhat rude. When I worked in a retail store I would never think of running over customers. I always gave them the right of way and excused myself when needing to pass. On several occasions I have had staff walk in front of me while pushing a heavy cart without courtesy or an excuse me. Would I had another choice for a local grocery chain.
Nice and convenient location. They have Redbox kiosks. Their fruit and veggies always seemed fresh and well priced.
I loved my shopping experience at the Little Canada Cub Foods.
The sushi I got was bad. It wasn’t over due or anything (not that I know of), but the rice was HARD. It didn’t taste good in my mouth when the rice is hard like that. On a 1-10, 10 the hardest, the rice was a 6. No kidding.
I just waited in line at 4:45 pm for forty five minutes, after my shopping was done. There was one lane open when I walked in plus self checkout, which has two machines down. They called another cashier up but it was too little too late. Front end management was extremely lacking. Ill visit another nearby Cub from now on.
