First time there and was impressed. Friendly people, good ongoing communication as far as appointment reminders and progress of work. Windshield replaced in 45 minutes though 60-90 minutes was the planned time. Work looks good so far!
Someone in the area fired a handgun into the air and the bullet fell out of the air and all the way through our windshield. Great way to wake up. Originally I scheduled a house call from Safelite, but it was raining and we dont have a garage. My husband ended up vacuuming the glass out of the seat and driving it to Safelite. There was an appointment available the same day. The glass looks great, its fairly priced and the installation only took around 30 minutes. Were very satisfied.
Absolutely amazing service! I got a windshield replacement, and not only was it done in around 30 minutes, but they also moved over some stickers that a friend had given me onto my new windshield. It was a nice little surprise when I looked up and saw them still in their same place! Hopefully I don’t have to replace anymore windows anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitely be returning!
Poor Communication, Poor Service. They replaced my windshield with a windshield that doesnt sync with my cars electronics - including most of the safety features. I was told that a windshield that would work with my car would take 1 week to get. 2 MONTHS LATER, Im still driving around with disabled safety features and ZERO electronics (radio, etc.). I honestly and sincerely wish I had my cracked windshield back. Id feel much safer. I will NEVER return to this location. Again, communication and customer service is non-existent at this location. I wish there was an option for zero stars.
Waited for two weeks for a windshield that was never actually ordered. And don’t even bother trying to call this place expecting any kind of human assistance, it’s an automated system that won’t connect you to anyone and just hangs up on you. I couldn’t get any kind of status update and no one ever called me back after they said they would order the part needed for my repair. I ended up going elsewhere after wasting two weeks thinking this shop was capable of helping me. A note to Safelite corporate: make yourself accessible beyond scheduling appointments online.
Nightmare of a company. No customer service. No live corporate folks to clean up the mess created at the lower level. Two confirmed appointments to replace my windshield and both canceled, one after I showed up for the appointment and the second an hour before the scheduled appointment. I have two windshields to be replaced, and am told they cant replace them on separate occasions. Store managers in Marietta (Marcus) and Lithia Springs (Emory) keep assuring me they are working on resolving the issue but never call me back. Obviously, this company does not provide the best service possible.
There is no mask mandate in Georgia, stop forcing people to participate in your delusions of fear. Healthy people do not need masks to stay healthy. The fact that you are unable to grasp this concept makes me wonder if you have the intelligence and ability to actually repair my windshield.

Tried to schedule replacement of windshield at my home. Soonest appointment available was over a week away. I was quoted $310.32. They later canceled saying the glass they got was scratched. I had to wait until they got new glass and the day before installation I got an email stating that my price would be $585.50. When I called to ask why I was told they would honor the $310.32. I did not feel comfortable dealing with this company and canceled.I called a second company and they quoted me $213 to do the replacement at my home and will be here in 2 days. Please take the time to shop around.UPDATEThe second company did not cancel, did not escalate my price, was here on time and did a great job.
What an absolute waste of my time. I scheduled a repair 2 weeks ago today for a power window repair and side glass installment. I received a call a week ago from Safelite saying that my part for the power window had been delayed. I figured this wouldnt be an issue because my repair was still a week out. So here I am 2 weeks later expecting the technician to show up between 8-1 and no call no show. I called SafeLite to confirm my appointment and they told me it was scheduled for the 30th and also the part has not yet arrived. The appointment I booked 2 weeks ago was for the 26th! So I asked on an ETA about the part and the manager didnt know. So, basically, SafeLite had no idea when my car would be serviced. I requested a refund immediately and have since managed to track down the part I needed 5 minutes later at a local Auto-Zone, a monumental feat that SafeLite has had 2 weeks to accomplish. I have also booked a REAL appointment with one of their competitors first thing tomorrow. What a headache for nothing and a waste of my entire morning. No calls, no updates. Lesson learned. I expect results when I pay my hard earned money, SafeLite chose to give me the run-around and make me feel like an idiot with zero services rendered. Youve been warned.
Im so DONE with this company.Yet again they have managed to mess up something in regards to the replacement of my cracked windshield.First they repaired a chip in the glass that turned into a crack. When I returned to have the windshield replaced I was told the new windshield had scratches on it and Id need to reschedule a week later so they could order a new one. I returned yet again today and was told I now have to reschedule and go to the Cartersville location bc they dont handle CarMax accounts. Wait. What?If they werent the company CarMax is making me go too, I would be going somewhere else. Somewhere that is actually professional and takes better care of their customers.

When you call the local store, there is no option to talk to a real human. Only a recording that refers you to the website. I already used the site and have a specific question that is not covered there.... even their responses to negative comments here do not actually address the issue at hand.

Walked in because I got a small chip in windshield. Guy follows me to car and asks if I am using insurance. I said it would not meet deductible, how much would it be. He said $158..told him way too expensive and left. Ended up on top rated marietta car window repair and they did it for $59..amazed at the price difference.

Called to get an estimate on my windshield for a Dodge van of mine and no one would answer the phone because they want you to do it all online no quotes over the phone not even talk to anyone over the phone so my opinion is if you cannot provide a service that I need which in this case would be a human being answering a phone call then you dont need to my business
Timely and efficient service. They assessed the damage and worked accordingly. Be sure to wear a mask if going to the physical location. If you change the location/zipcode of an appointment it may cancel the appointment. Overall, I highly recommend their servives. Commercial business may receive a discount.

I had a fantastic experience here. I went in thinking I needed regulators on both of my power windows, but it turns out that my window was installed incorrectly by a previous owner. Rather than gouge me, they brought me into the shop to show me exactly what was going on and how to fix it. Corey in the office was kind, knowledgeable, and personable. Both of the techs in the shop were courteous and professional. I will come back here with any window issues I have.
Such great staff, they are so friendly. I was kept updated throughout the process when they started working on my car. They apologized for the long wait but honestly it wasn’t very long and the end result was 100% better than before. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Received great customer service from Matthew! I showed up at 3:15 and my appointment was at 4. They were slow so he worked me in early. He repaired the crack in my windshield, still a tiny bit visible but it’s not a huge deal. Repair was covered by my USAA Auto Insurancez

If I could give zero stars, I would. I arrived for an 8:30 appointment and had to wait behind walk-ins that had no appointment just to find out that Safelite had the wrong glass that I requested and had not even called my insurance agent. I was told that they could order the glass relatively quickly and that they would be in contact shortly. Two weeks later and still have not heard back.

Cant even reach anyone by phone - USAA recommended them for repairs. I had some questions on calibrating my collision sensor. Everything goes to an automated system - service is gone. No interest in working with a company that doesnt want to assist their customers.. Going somewhere else - sorry USAA.... not a good partner choice.
Ryan See was an incredible service representative and technician. He explained the process and what my insurance covered perfectly. He said my service time would be between 1 - 1.5 hours. He finished my windshield in less than an hour, applied my new wipers and gave A+ service all the way! I wish I could give this location 10 stars. The manager Chris was incredible to work with when I encountered an issue with my scheduled appointment. Vickie in the office did a great job keeping me informed and up to date and the service tech that arrived was incredible. Derrick did an amazing job on the installation, was kind, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Overall, this company turned an awful event in to a great repair experience. Thank you guys for going the extra mile to provide some of the best customer service that I have received in quite some time, its appreciated more than you will ever know!

Insanely bad. I made An appointment for a tech to come to my house To replace a window. I received An email confirmation of my scheduled appointment. They didn’t show up. When I reached Out to the headquarters, I was Told that my appt was cancelled and they just forgot to tell me. So I sat At my home for 6 hours waiting for them to call & they couldn’t give me the courtesy of a call or email to cancel. Waste of time. Go somewhere else.

Getting my windshield replaced was a headache and a half, but none of those issues were in control/the fault of the people at the shop. They did their best. Important to know that we will come to you doesnt apply to all places your car could possibly be. If youre at work, make sure that youre permitted to have them work on your car.
So I’m going to make this short and sweet. From the second i walked in, everyone was super freaking friendly. They didn’t make me wait AT ALL to give my keys or take my car. David was super informant about the process and length of time. The lady at the front desk was also super nice. The whole process took 35 minutes TOPS and i would 1000% come back to THIS location cause customer service was on point. They also did a BOMB DOT COM job on my windshield. Thanks y’all!

Who ever came to my house in Dallas Ga. to replace my passenger side window in the rain on my ThyssenKrupp elevator van is a true Gentleman. I explained to him how frustrating it has been to work out of a rental and only having the minimal amount of tools and parts to work with. Being that we both rely on our tools every day it’s a huge battle and he understood 100%. I Greatly appreciate you working in the rain to accomplish this task and the people at the Children’s Hospital where I work appreciate it even more.

Had an appointment scheduled for Monday morning. And I have a commercial company so I scheduled a tech to be without the van for the first part of the morning. My appointment was between 8 -12am I get a phone call saying that the technician had called in sick. I ask if he was going to reschedule for another day or later that afternoon i was Told NO and then I said well I guess I will take my business else where and I was told Ok. And shortly he hung up on me. I will not ever bring my business to this ridiculous company. They are a joke
All Safelite techs are professional and more than competent, but the techs at the Marietta store are awesome and really go above and beyond.
Make sure you call ahead of time they will cancel your appointment without your consent we had been waiting a week and show up and dont have glass for or vehicle

I was pleased with the service provided by the mobile service. The process was easy and the technician, Austin, was great. He communicated in the morning his approximate time to arrive at my location and kept me updated as my scheduled time approached. He was knowledgeable, professional, and talked me through the whole process.My only complaint was I felt a little mislead by the scheduler on the phone. I understand up-selling product, but did not appreciate being told it was required to purchase new windshield wipers with the windshield. I even had to cancel the purchase of a rear windshield wiper(my car doesnt have one) that was added to my order.I am leaving the 5 stars review mainly for Austin.
Rock hit window while running errands in Marietta. Stopped by the office, they confirmed it was repairable . They could not fit me in but Vicki called and got me scheduled at another location closer to my home for same day. This may not seem grand but Vickis kind demeanor and stellar customer service really made my day. This is truly a lost art and Vicki was the epitome of how this should be modeled.
Safelite replaced the windshield on my BMW M Roadster.David the Tech was awesome!He was very careful to protect the vehicle, covering the Seats with seat protectors and the paint near the windshield with special tape.The work done was quick and it was very clear he knew what he was doing. Great good on fixing my windshield
Hard to work with and extremely overpriced. They claimed that the windshield for my car would have to be “specially ordered” from out of the country and raised the price from $300 to $500. Got my windshield done at another shop for $200; they said they got the windshield from Alabama and told me it was just like any other windshield for my make and model. Customer service is left to be desired, extremely rude, and to be honest you’re probably better off going someplace else. It’ll be a lot less hassle and a lot less money.
I took my car to Safelite back in July of 2019 to repair a window that had been broken. They replaced the glass with an OEM part as I had requested. When I drove out of the lot I realized that there was wind noise due to the window not being replaced properly. I immediately went back, explained the issue and had them take a look at it. They were not able to fix the issue and scheduled a time for me to come back and have another technician take a look. The new technician wasnt able to resolve the issue either, he said I would be contacted by someone from their HQ to schedule a time to take the car to a dealership and have them resolve the issue and Safelite would take care of the cost. No one ever called me to schedule such an appointment, another tech came out twice to try and repair the issue and wasnt able to. Last time a tech came out I was told that a part needed to be ordered, that was back in December, how long does it take to get a part? I also keep getting bounced between two safelite locations, at this point I have no idea who to call and no one is reaching out to me either. I tried calling corporate and they dont seem interested either. I have been waiting 7 months to get this issue resolved and Safelite seems to not be too concerned with helping me since they have already received payment.
Windshield got hit with a rock and left a deep groove in my windshield, made an appointment online and came in. The tech was transparent with me letting me know that it was just a deep surface scratch but that my windshield wasnt actually compromised and a chip repair would make it look worse since its not deep enough to spread. I appreciate that honesty because they still couldve taken me in just for the money. Definitely will keep this place in mind as everyone was friendly!

Receipt was emailed. This location keeps it simple, keeps it friendly... well worth the visit if anything happens to your windshield. Be sure to set an appointment to assist with your wait time.
I called 10 glass repair shops in this area and they were the lowest cost by nearly 50%, had the friendliest and most responsive team, and replaced my windshield in 1.5 hours. Would highly recommend them for any windshield repairs.
I had an appt scheduled for today, 05/28/2020 with a time for the technician to show up between 1 and 6pm. Ive waited all day. At 6:01PM I called the number, from their confirmation email they sent to me at 11:15 today, but their office closes at 5:30. At 6:09PM I received a text just stating, Thanks for choosing Safelite!. Your appt has been updated to 6/3/20 between 8AM and 1:00PM., with a link to my new appt time. I can understand things may take longer, but the fact that Ive waited all afternoon and didnt receive any sort of call to let me know the appointment was not going to occur is completely disappointing. Things may happen. The previous job may have taken longer than expected. Or something else. I would have understood, but disappointed, if a simple phone call couldve been made from the tech or the office to let me know. In addition, to just schedule the next appt window another 6 days out without confirming with me is unacceptable. If my appt was missed, why would I not be the first one for the next day. This is completely unprofessional and I will not use SafeLite again. I have already scheduled with another company who has guaranteed they will be here tomorrow.
Had a chip in the motor home windshield. Contacted Safelite for the repair as they did an outstanding job on a similar repair to another vehicle we had. Well, this time the chip is still visible and cracked. It doesnt look as if the technician did anything. Now the guidelines for this review want me to keep it focused on the product. But, when calling customer service after the tech left we were told there was no way Safelite even attempted to repair windshield as they dont work on motor homes. Really? Who was standing there doing the work in a Safelite uniform, driving a Safelite vehicle? Sorry, I wasnt born yesterday and know better. Customer NO Service continued to insist Safelite did not do the repair. The agent wouldnt even listen and kept interrupting. We had to hang up on them. Calling the local office got us no satisfaction either so I believe we are stuck with a bad job that cannot be redone. My advise is to find a different repair company.
I had a repair on my lift gate window that needed to be done, and other auto glass shops PLUS the dealership did not want to help me for less than $600-$700. Safelite did the repair in 20 minutes and it only cost me $60 because they didn’t make me buy a new window like the other places. They were efficient, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend this place!
Beyond satisfied with the work done by Ryan at this location! The clumsy and awful website experience had lead me to believe my appointment was scheduled for the time of drop off. However in reality all website appointments are considered first come, first serve drop-offs that take a back-seat to all other appointments. I was informed of this when I arrived. Disappointed? Sure, but it wasnt their fault. The website didnt clarify that my booking was going to be fit in between other appointments.Having handed my key over and accepting the potentially day-long wait I was approached outside the garage by Ryan who explained they were going to get my windshield replaced immediately. It turned out that the glass for a customer with an 8am appointment did not arrive and they had an hour opening.Ryan got my old windshield off, dash cleaned and new windshield mounted and completed in 45 minutes! FANTASTIC! What I had thought would take all day long was over before 8:30am!Definitely will return if I ever need glass replaced! Ryan is an asset to the company!
Do not take your vehicle here . My insurance company made me take my car here to have my windshield installed. I knew this was not a good place . To avoid paying out the pocket at the time I went for it . I was called by a tech SCOTT that told me the wrong windshield was ordered . I told them keep the car until it’s finished he told me he reinstalled the glass . My glass had a small crack when I received it back it was cracked everywhere . I told them this was a bad idea but they didn’t seemed to not care. That weekend there was a storm and flooded the front of my vehicle and did $7,000 worth of damage . I called geico and they informed me that it Falls on safelite’s warranty . I spoke to them and they got me over to Corey days later. Corey is the manager over at this office is not only rude but doesn’t care about his clients. It took him a weeks to approve the estimate from VW . I have a voicemail stating that it would be covered. I have 2 kids and a wife and I didn’t have a vehicle to use . They were suppose to put my into a rental but never did . I had to call geico to put me into a car . It’s been weeks and Corey still hasn’t paid the invoice at VW so I cannot pick up my vehicle . When I call safelite they ask me everything over and over again like nothing was ever noted. I have videos or my car going into safelite and after . I also have a voicemail stating there repairs would be Covered. And a video of the water damaging the electrical parts. Horrible experience from me walking into safelite office and no one greeting me to my car being done and no one paying for the mistake they made . Please do not go to this office COREY do the right thing and pay for the repairs your team damaged. I am in the car industries and not only will I reach out to BBB I will inform everyone I know what this situation . I am a family man that is only wanting to get my family transportation back . I have nothing to drive now that my rental has expired with my insurance .
I set up an appointment for me to come in at lunchtime to get my windshield replaced, only to find out when I arrived that they ordered the wrong glass and couldnt get the job done. Complete waste of my time. They were kind enough to schedule a technician to come to my work a few days later with the correct glass, and even promised that I would be one of the first few appointments in the 8am to 1pm window that they gave me. After juggling up my schedule so that I was free in the AM, the technician was a no show. At 3pm, he called me to tell me he was on his way. Of course, that didnt work since I have moved all of my appointments to the afternoon.Completely undependable. I would only recommend them if you have LOTS of free time available.

I acquired a pretty nice chip in the windshield of my Honda Odyssey while on a road trip so I called my insurance and they directed me to Safelite (which I already had in mind). It was so easy to get an appointment and my technician, Kameron, was beyond amazing. He explained everything in detail and did a fantastic job! I’m hoping to not need their services again, but will have full confidence should I do.
Worst business I have ever dealt with. The installer is NOT people friendly. He takes out my old glass, then AFTER taking it out tells me he won’t replace it or put the old glass back in. He said I have to have it towed in to be repaired. So, I cannot drive my car and it is not repaired. They should have some system in place to help the customer instead of leaving them without transportation. Pathetic. I will NEVER use them again!

He gave me a courtesy call in the morning to let me know his schedule for the day and an automated text about 30 mins before he arrived. I highly recommend this safelite location. Super friendly staff, quick, and really took the time to explain things and the process of what they were going to do. They even gave me half off my deductible because I had to make 2 trips to get my windshield replaced. Ill be back...but hopefully not too soon. :)
Recently, I made a claim with Geico to get my windshield fix due to a rock cracking my windshield. I had to get the entire windshield replaced. As many of you know, its really inconvenient to drive around with a tree like crack on your windshield, and not to mention how nerve wracking it is to know 1 more rock could potentially hinder my sight completely. Theres a technician at Safelite that I had the pleasure of meeting, Austin, he has been so generous and overly kind. It breaks my heart to know this kind of service is a rarity in our society. Though I made a mistake and chose the wrong windshield for my car, he took it upon himself and corrected it for me, and even gave me a discount for the inconveniences I made (basically, I messed up). We had to reschedule a couple of times due to inclement weather, and part issues. Through it all, the amount of respect and manners never swayed. It was also a breath of fresh air knowing that he wasnt the only person who has been kind to me. His team that he represents, has also shown me nothing but kindness through this whole endeavor. If you ever have to get your windshield replaced or simply fixed, I truly believe this is the place to get those services done.
I had American Glass tell me they cant fix the rock chip because it was in a drivers side view - not mine lol. But went to sadelite for second opinion and they fixed it and did not tell me that I would be in jeopardy of a 100.00 ticket if o got I an accident with a FIXED rock chip on drivers window. Safelite you were awesone!!!°
They brought the wrong style of windshield to my home (small but distinct difference with car options). Understandable. But it did waste part of my day. I volunteered to bring my car in to the shop in Marietta the next week when the correct windshield came in. In and out in about an hour. Everything looked like new. Manager gave a small and much appreciated discount for my trouble. No problems so far.
Very professional, windshield was replaced fairly quickly and workmanship is excellent. They obviously are neat freaks. Came out to clean off the windshield before I left would not let me leave till they wiped 1 fingerprint off. 100% recommended.
Called for initial appointment and they directed me online. Went online and set up an appointment but called because I knew it wasnt right. I was very specific and they said they had it. Showed up Saturday morning. No dice. They did not have the part. I called! They said they would not reschedule me until they had the parts. Called with parts and appointment. I took a day off and they called right before the appointment to say they did not have the parts. Day off wasted. Ughhhh.

I went to get my windshield repaired and found out I had to have it replaced. Although I did not get it replaced that day, the guy who take care of me was very helpful and quote me the cheapest price he could.
Took my 98 4Runner in to get a new windshield. Tech was nice and kindly broke the bad news that my windshield channel was too rusted to install a new windshield that day. Was referred to a reputable body shop near by. Although there were some issues with the scheduling and it took longer to be fixed than expected, the manager Chris was very professional and made it right.
Some techs there are very clumsily. They are not liable for any damage to your car. You bring it to them and its your fault thats what they said.Use them at your own risk!!That Chris guy is shady as it gets.
In Response To The Owner: I actually reached out to the manager and assistant manager multiple times after my second car was damaged with no avail. They dented my hood in several locations while repairing a windshield. I showed them pics of my Jeep without dents that were taken the day before and after 3 weeks of arguing with them; they only paid for half of the repairs. Dont take your car here. Read the other reviews.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Ive taken two cars here and both have ended up worse than they started. The first one went in to replace the driver window and came out with door trim damage, a door speaker that didnt work, and power locks that didnt work. Safelite wouldnt fix it and claimed it was existing damage.Seriously this is Atlanta. There are plenty of glass companies that will repair your window and treat your car with respect. If your insurance recommends Safelite, tell them no and theyll recommend someone else.
Big huge crack down center of my windshield, within the week Safelite made the appointment, called to let me know they were on the way (at my job), and fixed the windshield, with the F150 emblem on it. Great, quick, painless service!
Way overpriced. Also overheard that they ordered the wrong parts for 2 customers while I was waiting and had to reschedule both. Go somewhere else or make sure that they are 100% before you waste time waiting to be rescheduled.
