The best, friendliest and most welcoming eye doctor and staff I’ve ever experienced in my 37 years wearing glasses! State of the art equipment and there was another option instead of Dilation which was absolutely amazing! Dr. Jinen Shah is fantastic! He just opened a beautiful place and has a wide selection of premium lenses and contacts. Even the technology he uses to keep your eyes protected is step above the rest. Highly recommend! If you want a local place with exceptional care, this is it!

Dr. Shah is thorough, professional and took the time to explain/answer questions. We originally took my daughter here because we werent happy with our pediatric eye doctor. I made an appointment for myself and he caught the early onset of glaucoma. It was something that ran in my family and was unaware until that point. Grateful for his expertise.

Omg!!!! I absolutely love this office! It’s super clean, pretty, and everyone is so professional. Dr Shah is a PHENOMENAL doctor! I just love him and he’s amazing with my son which is a major plus for me. My family commutes from Snellville and Decatur just to be able to see Dr Shah because customer service is everything! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And moms out there especially with younger kids this is hands down the best doctor to go see!

Dr. Jinen Shah is amazing. I came in one day with an emergency. Something had flew in my eye and I wasn’t able to get it out let alone close my eye. I was very worried but he was able to calm me down, then he numbed my eyes and remove the object from my eye. Later he showed me a picture of my eye and it was badly scarred. Lastly he prescribed me some antibiotics for my eye and a protective Contact lens and within two days my eye was back to normal. Dr. Jinen Shah saved my life literally and is now my primary doctor.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had at an optometrists. I normally don’t write these but the way the staff treated me definitely deserves to be recognized. With the covid-19 situation, I have been hesitant about getting a much needed check up for me and my son. The facility was immaculate and thoroughly sanitized. You could tell that the safety of their clients was one of the primary day to day concerns. Happy to have found Luminary Eye Care. The office is practicing safe covid measures such as taking temperatures and washing hands. Scheduling an appointment was easy through ZocDoc. Kelly, at the office, helped make sure my previous records were received and reviewed. Dr. Shah was thorough in my glasses and contact exams, asking me about my ocular history. I felt most at ease as the office did not feel super salesy in terms of pushing me to buy new things. I had a recent eye exam at a different place and got my glasses from Costco. The glasses were made wrong and after visiting Dr. Shah, I found out the prescription was wrong as well! My new glasses are perfect and am so happy!

I havent had my eyes checked in a while. Dr. Shah was very professional and thorough during my appointment. As a practicing attorney, I spend numerous hours at a computer and experience issues with my vision. Dr. Shah not only identified my problems, but was able to recommend the proper care to help my vision. The equipment used during my visit was the state of the art. I never felt any discomfort and was happy I chose Luminary Eye Care.

Dr. Shahs new office is fantastic! Both he and his colleague (Kelly) are extremely friendly and professional. The new office has a very classy and modern design. I appreciated that the office is taking the current COVID-19 pandemic very seriously; my temperature was taken upon entry, and I was asked to wash my hands immediately afterwards. To enhance social distancing, patients are currently scheduled without overlaps, further preventing spread of the virus.I followed Dr. Shah from his former office, and am glad to see he now has his own practice. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in great detail. Contrary past optometrist visits, I was in and out of the office in about 30 minutes. Excited to see the business continue to grow in the future!
