The sign on the front door says Candy Store For Grownups I love the small local hardware store. Went there today because, well, we needed some hardware. 🤣 Found lots of other way cool stuff there too. Seriously a great store for gifts! Forgot my coupon though, drats! Greeted on the way in, asked if I needed help. People were observing the 6 foot rule and many were wearing or carrying masks. Very nice people and very nice customers.

Couldn’t be nicer folks. I came in for some screws and they took me right to where I needed to be. I wouldn’t have gotten that kind of service at a larger hardware store. Consider shopping local and supporting this business.

It is a real example of true customer service. I go in occasionally for things I need to do around the house. Some jobs larger than others. I went in today to match a specialize screw for a plumbing repair. They have an amazing selection and well priced. You can buy just what you need. The screw was 23 cents. I was greeted and walked to the item and helped me find just what I needed. When I thanked him he said That is who we are I will always attempt to get things there before going to a big box store.

Great store. Easy to shop there. And it is the only place reliable to have keys made.

My first time at this hardware store. Asked if I needed help several times. I was there to get a new door lock set so bought the store brand, Ace. It was said located on aisle 17 but it is not labeled so must look for it at the back right side of store. Given rough estimate of distance from Lake Allatoona where my dad drowned in 1973at age 23 from Birmingham, Alabama. I usually over my life have visited his siblings and their families. Luckily my mothers nephew has moved his family to Douglasville so me and my other maternal cousin stopped to visit. This gas station is 1block up from Walls Ace and pictures often disappear but not memories. We were in route to Jokers Audio next to a store named cloud 9same as in Birmingham,Alabama. So coincidental that I was a member of Junior Achievement another JA initial plus a man with Walls on his overalls. My fantasy 5 tickets had three specific numbers 5,15,17 in my life. So scary how that was plus their phone number is backwards address for store. Now must get my car windshield replaced that changed after we returned. I hop there is no reverse key duplicate somewhere since They were just right there so decided while thinking about it going ahead and bought out of town. They are an independent franchise so can not return in my hometown. Went on and completed purchase but maybe no other damages occur ad a trailer. I will consider other luck since my birthday is on the 9th day of 2021.

Even though ACE Hardware may not have the selection of the big box home improvement stores, I find they do have these qualities.- Their staff is more knowledgeable & experienced. Knowledge is power and many times knowing what to look for or what to do is half the battle especially in areas I know little about. (YouTube helps but talking with someone on your specific issue is priceless)- If they do not have what you are looking for or out of stock, they refer you other stores that would carry what you are looking for. This occurred with me during my visit.- They are better integrated as a town, local or community Hardware store. Even though it might cost more, Im more inclined to go their to support our local community.So though I will go to the big box home improvement stores, ACE is always the next place I go.

Awesome staff! Had a custom key i needed cut and William helped me today. It took some work and determination but he never quit or complained. I have been here several times and it feels like a step back in time because you get personalized service and they are always willing to go that extra mile. Thank you William!

I really love an Ace Hardware, and this store never disappoints. Ive done a couple of paint projects around my house, and the team here is always friendly, helpful and quick in their service despite being very busy most of the time! Five stars from this past Saturdays visit when I brought a swatch of paint in from my living room wall. I have done some redecorating and need to patch some holes from previous pictures, etc. Id just had a less than stellar experience at Sherwin Williams, where I originally thought the paint was from, but low and behold, it was Ben Moore paint! The owner? manager? (hes always there) at Ace, happily took my swatch, helped me determine the finish (actually educated me on finishes too!), and color matched it PERFECTLY. My walls look brand new, and it took them all of 20 min to get me in and out, and it was the most pleasant interaction from start to finish. I cant recommend enough. They can color match ANY color, so I may be done with big box stores to maintain this level of service.

I purchased an item here and needed to return it. It had been 3 months but their return policy is not stated on their receipts. So I called to specifically ask what their policy is and if I could return it. I explained when I purchased it, that the item was new, original packaging, undamaged and I still had my receipt. I spoke to William and he said it would be no problem to return the item given it was new and I had the receipt. I do not live near this particular Ace Hardware and had made a previous attempt to return the item to my local Ace but they do not allow that. It has to be the exact store you purchased from. I made the long drive and when I tried to return the item, the manager refused. William was at the register and said he misspoke on the phone. Their policy is 30 days. Sadly, I had planned to spend hundreds of dollars on product after making my return but I decided I’ll take my business elsewhere after being lied to.

Very helpful staff. Knowledgeable and courteous. I will shop here when in need and in the area. Ill take Ace over Lowes any day.

Youll be hard pressed to find a place with a better selection of hardware and fasteners, selling from bins allowing you to buy only what you need, not what the big box stores have decided is the quantity they want to sell us. Walk in the door and you wont receive just a greeting, but the additional how can we help?, missing from todays retail vocabulary. Great selection and brands. I shall return!

Under normal circumstances this would be a fine store, but these are Covid times and nobody at the store was wearing a mask.

Ace Hardware has a full assortment of tools for almost every job. The store is clean and well lit. The support staff is knowledgeable and the prices arent bad. I often come here when Im in the area as it has more selection than the other stores nearby.

Amazing service! I have had 2 warranty repairs for my BGE. Lisa and the team over there made sure that it was filed, completed and delivered. Treated me as if it were their own grill.They also make the quick run to the hardware store enjoyable.Clean store along with a very helpful, knowledgeable staff!

Ace is the place with the friendly hardware folks! Updated again... still no masks on the employees. 0% of employees in masks - even those folks helping in the isles. Still super friendly, but not keeping up with the recommendations for our safety. Disappointed yet again.

This is one of the better ACE hardware stores that still has everything organized well. Everything you need for quick home repairs and just about everything else in between. Helpful employees and prices seem to be reasonable on just about everything they sell.

Been doing business there way back when it was Ragsdales Ace Hardware over 40 years ago. Walls has carried on the same fine tradition of being very helpful and friendly staff.

Very nice people, customer service oriented and its always easy to get in and out - no hassles like going to a big box store. They carry a great selection of products and their prices are very good.This Ace Hardware can help you with specialty needs, i.e., in working on guitars I often need specific types/sizes of hardware I can find only here or online. I recommend spending money with this store before going to a big box retailer.

Walls has the best selection of nuts, bolts and fasteners probably in the south both metric & SAE. If you can not find what you need for your special project speak to their 50 veteran in the Hardware business ELLS and he will figure out a solution for you with the material them have in stock regardless of how strange your project needs are.This the first place to stop for specialty nuts, bolts and fasteners needs.The best I have every seen in 60 years in a single store for doing those projects.

This location is run by a family and they where very helpful and had everything I needed for my home projects.

Won my business over with the amount of things in a tiny store which the box stores don’t sell. Masks are optional and that’s how one runs a business, let people decide.

The staff there was super attentive and helpful we was greeted as soon as we walked in the door and asked what we needed and someone personally walked us to where we needed to go afterwards I needed to exchange an item it was not an issue. The item changed and what I needed the staff there was not only friendly but humorous.

Good location and had the wire wheel brushes I needed, as most locations dont normally stock them. Nice that they carry Craftsman tools now.

They usually have everything home depot doesnt. Really helpful people. They dont seem to run when they see you like at home depot.

Ken fixed my lawn mower and did a very nice job of it. A few months later I couldnt start it so I took it back to him and he discovered there was a problem with something that was in the mowers gasoline. He didnt charge me to diagnose and fix the problem. He removed the bad gas and put good gas in and I never had another problem with the mower. I will definitely return to this hardware store whenever they provide a service that I can use.

Came here with my father in law looking for some screws. Had no stock of size we needed. There was a pack of screws sitting on a shelf THAT HAD NO SEAL WHATSOEVER so I opened it to see if they would happen to work. An employee named Ken walked up and snatched them out my hand and mumbled under his breath as he walked away. Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks
