I purchased a new cell phone from radio shack along with the 2 year protection plan. turns our it that even though they tole me it was 2 years, its not really 2 years, only 18 months in my case, and although I was told it would provide a replacement of the phone I purchased if it was damaged in anyway, when I tried to use it, I had to deal with some other company who required a $100 deductible (never mentioned to me) in case the phone was damaged by me rather than defective. I then had to remove the memory card, sim chip and battery and ship it off and wait for them to test it and return it. What I got back was a totally incompatible phone than wouldnt even accept the sim chip from my phone much less work with any of the accessories I purchased from Radio Shack at the same time I purchased the phone. Now I have to wait for them to contact my service provider, to get them to contact me, to see if they will furnish me with a sim chip for this phone, before I can try the replacement phone to see if it actually works, and they are sorry none of my accessories are usable with this phone, but the contract states (fine print that was not mentioned at the time of purchase) that all they have to do is replace my phone with a comparable model, not compatible model. I guess in this case, comparable means one that doesnt work either. DONT GET SUCKED INTO BUYING THE PROTECTION PLAN! IT IS WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
