Must have used Walmarts Auto Center a half dozen times or more in the past and while theyve always been pokey (with actual services taking 2-3 times what I was quoted up front sometimes), I got acceptable, friendly service. Before I go any further let me remind you their hours on both the website and their doors are 7AM-7PM. I have a screw embedded in one of my back tires and the treads pretty worn anyway. Walmart is by far the closest tire service center, so they are my preference for both safety and price.I call around 6PM the night before to see if they have my tire size in stock with the intention of dropping my car off if they do. I tried twice, 15 minutes apart. It must have rang 20-30 times each try. No answer.Next morning I specifically got up early to call and see if I can drop my car off. I call around 7:15 AM. Phone rings a few times before I got transferred to the stores customer service. She transfers back to auto and I hear someone pick up, then I am transferred back to customer service. She says I have to give them a minute and transfers me back. I then hear someone pick up the phone and hang up without saying anything.I dont have to be at work until 8AM so I decide to just drive up there and ask if they have my tire and drop off my car if they do. While Im waiting, an employee walks up to the counter and drops off her car for an oil change. They tell her Okay! Well write it up later. They have my tire in stock, dirt cheap at $44. Great! Its about 7:35 AM. Still plenty of time for them to write me up and still get to work on time, right?Sorry, we cant write you up until 8. Theres no techs here til 8, so it would have to just sit here on the clock. We could only take her car because shes an employee and we can write her up later.Well, I have to be at work by 8.Oh, well... sorry. We only have one tech right now. Nobody wants to come to work.Okay. Thanks.So basically what hes just told me isnt that he CANT write me up, but that he WONT because it would have to sit here on the clock. That reeks of some corporate crony coming up with some metric to penalize the workers based on the wait time. Now I certainly wouldnt get fired for being 15 minutes late for work once, but why should I have to be late when I specifically got up early to get there as early as possible? Thats one of Walmarts advantages over the Mom n Pop tire shops... theyre open earlier and later. So why open at 7AM if you cant even write anything up until 8AM?So I guess Im going to go to one of the Mom n Pop tire shops (on my lunch break I guess?), pay twice as much, and probably wait longer. All because I was basically turned away because... Im not even sure why? But at least I wont resent spending my money at a Mom N Pop shop.

Took my car in for an oil change. Three days later Im on the interstate and my oil light comes on. There wasnt any oil in my car and my motor almost locked up before I could find an exit to get to a store. It had 5 quarts in it when I brought it in and my car doesnt have any oil leaks. Never saw any leaking out from under it either. Ive had my car checked with another mechanic. Only explanation we could think was Walmart didnt put 5 quarts in my car when they changed the oil. Never again. Ill pay extra somewhere else from now on. If you value your car dont bring it to Wal-Mart.

Usually you better plan a drop off and ride.pleasantly surprized this morning they went above and beyond on a rounded off lug nut,had replacement tire in stock and got back on road fairly quickly. Thank you skip!

I got an oil change and they didn’t put oil in my car. I broke down because I had no oil in my car. Also, they zip tied my skid plate back on my car.

Service is slow and terrible. I have had three tires patched here across two vehicles. Once, the time it took was reasonable, and the service fine. The other two times took a ridiculous amount of time. Our most recent trip, I went inside to get someone, because no one came to the check in booth. I waited 25 minutes, just to be told that it would be 45 minutes until they could get to it. I went up front, and complained to management. I was then checked in right away, but waited over an hour for them to remove a single screw, and put a plug in the tire. Had I had a plug kit on hand, I could have done it myself in the total time wasted here. I will never return for any service here.

The associates are always nice; but, the service is always slow. I waited 15 minutes for someone to simply write down that I needed an oil change. The guy apologized and said that he was the only one at the counter. Of course, it is a cheap oil change; so, you get what you pay for.

Took my car in for a simple patch. There was one car in the shop getting an oil change. I was there for THREE HOURS before I finally went up there and asked what was going on. They had no idea. So the man goes to check on my car which I seen had been sitting on the jack for a good hour, then they FINALLY come back to tell me they cant do it because its just outside their policy area. Which is fine. I get policy, but I told you where it was to begin with, you said it was fine, then waited 3 freaking hours to tell me so?! Ridiculous, horrible service!

The absolute worst customer service ever. Wanted an oil change. An hour and 20 minutes after vehicle was pulled into work bay I check the status. Just getting ready to start.Absolutely livid... talked with some manager and theyre going to give my next one free blah blah blah... be up front about the time and Ill go somewhere else, no hard feelings, but this only increases public views of how bad it is to shop here.Wont let me post without star rating. Never post bad reviews, but good god never come here. If you prefer not to be completely mentally unhinged just pay a little bit more and go LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

Absolute worst. Their mechanic couldnt even open the hood. Whats more it took 2 hours, and me asking what the hold up was, for him to tell me he had to deny service because the hood didnt work. I thought that was odd but told him thanks and left. When I got outside I checked my hood and it worked perfectly fine. So I went back inside and brought another mechanic outside and showed him the hood was fine. He agreed it was in perfect working order and said she didnt know what the problem was. So my car was moved to the back of the line again and I waited. The mechanic was a short bald guy that wears a hat. Do not let him near your vehicle if you dare go in the first place. Terrible customer service too.

Only giving one star because employees apologized. Will never take any of my cars to Walmart auto care again! Absolutely horriable experience!

Two hours to get a tire plugged. Said they couldnt find the replacement tire sensor, because it was mislabeled. Next time Ill just call AAA.

Bad service and just shoddy overall. The service tech grudgingly did my warranty work only after I got the store manager involved. And even then a simple tire repair job took almost two hours.

Horrible service! Waited 3 hours for two tires mount and balence. Nobody knew what they were doing. Do not bring your vehicle here. Other people had been waiting over two hours for an oil change. Will never be back

Danny was GREAT, the man did what he could with what he had, That said, the gentleman who was installing the tires did what he could, the manager was called over to help new with my complaint and order, but when he came over decided that there were more important matters to attend to than speaking to a paying customer and offering up basic customer service, but it was only after he rudely walked in front of my friend and was told by his employe that he was rude did he speak to me about my issue, and I think that happened because I had written down everyones name involved with my tires not getting installed, me buying my tires at this location, but to come up short on one so they sent me to th ed Alcoa location to get another one which happened to be double the price, but at this point I just wanted tires installed, only to come back with the tire to find that they had not even started trying to install the 3 that were there already, so I waited 7 hours of my time waiting to find out they could not install my tires onto my rims, I will NEVER get any automotive services from this location EVER, and this is after I have given this location 3 chances to redeem themselves, because I have tried to get an oil change here twice in the past, only to be told that there guy had left 1 hour early bacause they were closing early, and then the second time only to wait 2 hours to be told that it will be 3-4 hours for an oil change, I mean, I am a patient person, and I give a place 3 chances before I will write a review, but let me tell u....THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLY RUN.

I arrived at 3:43pm, at 4:04pm I finally got my ticket for my oil change... It is now 5:38 and they just started on my vehicle. When I arrived there were no cars in line, and both of the lube bays were empty.

Service was okay, but attendant kept trying to add on services without disclosing charges beforehand. Went for an oil change in the morning and had to wait over 3 hours before I could pick up my vehicle.

When I put in an application to be a service tech they told me to forget everything I knew about my ase certifications that they would train me their own way ase is a national recognized certification so no this is not the place I would take my car

Don’t listen if they tell you it will take 1 hour. It was 2 hours exactly before I walked out will NEVER go here again! Highly disappointed!!!

The slowest service youll ever receive. It is cheap, though. You pull in and have to wait at the front of the line in your car for about an hour before they get to you. Hope you have working AC.
