This place is excellent. The best Verizon store experience I have had. Friendly, helpful... had a problem with sim card. They had me up and running quickly.

The only reason they got one star is because I couldnt give them no stars. I put a friend on my account, first they said he couldnt keep the phone he he had, so he got a new phone from Verizon for 11.00, and it would cost 45.00 a month. Then it cost 60.00 a month so he said screw it. Then the 11.00 phone turned into another 167.00. Then came my moms phone. A flip phone it was just for emergencys. I didnt want messages internet, I just want a phone. Couldnt do that, had to have all the other things too.So they sent a $480.00 bill. For phone cost and activations. Version is a joke and Im pretty much done with them. Theyre one lie after another. But theres always someone different working that doesnt know what the other person said. Todd Clemons

Back in March I went to Verizon for a promotion I saw that was a free iPhone with any new line so I got my son a phone. My phone also had a deal on it that said $150 off any Samsung watch. My husband had the older version so I updated it to the new one. Fast forward to the first bill after ....$420 later they didn’t apply my $50 up rewards they double charged me activation fees that I paid in store that day and they didn’t apply the $150 promotional credit for the watch. I have gone in to the store 2x and called each month where I get different answers each time but no credits. They did end up putting the $50 rewards on and $40 back for double charging but today when I called to see why my bill is so high the lady was very rude and said there were no such promotions available. She suggested I just go back in the store and talk to the one who sold me the watch and have them apply a credit in store. We tried this 2 months ago and were told that it was getting handled and we would see it on the second billing cycle. Such a jokeBut if I told them the same about paying my bill they would shut my line off. Such scammers and liarsGot in touch with your so called customer service and what a joke they did absolutely nothing either. Go figure tho that’s what liars and scammers are all about. Oh ya we will help you. Nope. Nothing got resolved.
It was great, the gentleman thst helped me knew exactly what I wanted when I told him and didnt try and pressure me into anything I didnt need or want.Id go back in a second.
It never seems to fail, whenever I stop at the Mason City store they say itll be at least a half hour wait, and then you never know if youre going to get a runaround from some smart alec arrogant salesperson. It never used to be this way at this store, so unfortunate.
My phone was accidentally deactivated while we were traveling to Omaha so I stopped into the Mason City store. They were super helpful and so kind, even with my three kids running around!

They force people to go into the store instead of calling. Even for a simple question. I thought we are trying to prevent people from going out in public as little as possible? Absolutely rediculious in my personal opinion.
Had an issue with 2 $50 Verizon Card I bought at Target. After 45 minutes on the phone trying to figure things out with customer service that had no idea what the problem was I took it into the store. 2 guys take a look at the issue and in 30 seconds they figure out the issue. I have no recourse and wasted $100. When I ask them if there is anything I can do one gentleman walks away rolling his eyes and the second suggest putting them on facebook or craigslist. I ask if there is a way to transfer the card to what I need it for since its all Verizon anyway. The guy says he might be able to call someone, but it probably wouldnt work anyway so why try.So for the $100 in Verizon cards I bought I get nothing but some bad attitude because I took a guy away from his conversation with coworkers to do his actual job. Verizon still gets my money in the end and I am out during the Holiday Season. Merry Christmas Verizon, your customer service is terrible and your in store workers are pretty inconsiderate.

Troubles with my phone going black and dimming on its own. I made an appointment and the rep was not at all interested in helping me. He implied I would have to live with it. Unacceptable as my settings were verified by him as correct. Still under warranty so I had to insist on a different phone. He tried to rush to the next customer and only with me 10 minutes of the scheduled 30 I had pre-scheduled. Very unhappy
I was told by a Verizon agent that I could come in and have my screen repaired. I make an appointment and go in and was sent away saying that they do not do this option and that I have to start a claim with a company out of Ames. They gave me a website which I looked up and did not work. I called tech-support was told I needed to file through someone different and was told that I could be up to two weeks without a phone. Then I’m transferred to someone online to ask about getting a loner for that two week time period and she tells me I need to go in a trade in my phone and pay it off and just get a new one. What is the point of having insurance if it doesn’t do me any good.

Phone would not turn back on after pushing restart and after waiting my turn in line (they were extremely busy), they were able to get it back up and running again. He also answered all my questions. I really liked that they kept me posted as to when it would be my turn. Very helpful and courteous staff. Four stars since did have to wait.
I went to the Verizon store in mason city iowa today to pay my bill. The employee asked me to wait, I figured that would be fine. A few people came in after I was there. The employees helped them and then helped me. To pay my bill was only going to take 2 minutes. Why wait all that time? I will be taking my business to a different Verizon store that will treat me with respect and help me that I didnt get in this store.
Actually like that they can only have a few people in the store at a time. Keeps the lines down. Good service today!
I bought a phone, they said if I need to exchange it no problems come within 14 days. Great! needed to get a phone with more storage 3 days later, and they said I could bring both phones back but it will cost $100 in restocking fees and that will be on top of the $200 for the bigger phones. Wish that would have been mentioned from the beginning. Save yourself money and switch back and forth between to carriers and youll be happier.

I have been going to this store for over 4 years now an I have always had a great experience with Eric the store manager. Any problems I may have encountered with new phones or activations etc, he always sorts it out an makes sure that everything is perfect before I leave.

I cant tell enough good things about Verizon. I havent had service like this with my previous carrier. I love the busy atmosphere and the friendly staff members that are willing to help with anything. Me and my family have switched over and are not ever going anywhere else.

Pulled in the lot and parked. When I got up to the door a gentleman employee was there to open and hold the door for me. I was immediately helped. I had pre-paid bills to pay because I was having issues the the processing online. Travis helped me with getting the bills paid.( I had brought in cash) Very pleasant man who was very helpful and even talked to me about my online issues, giving me some numbers to call at Verizon. Long wait but they let you know how long to expect. Fast with upgrading to a new phone but no help from issues on verizon account.
These people are salesmen. Every time I come here, they try to get me to upgrade a plan, buy something I dont need, or just plain dishonest. Ive come in 3 times for one issue. I came in to replace a lost hotspot device. They tried to get me to get a smartphone. The device cost $30.00 and replaced the same device and yet there was an upgrade fee of 35.00 and I brought it home and they did not activate the device.

My recent visits to this store have not gone well. The wait time is way too long. I got a new phone and it wont stay connected to my wifi at home so I exchanged it for another. Same problem. Have tried calling this store using the business cards from the sales people but can never get an answer. Went today to just ask about my bill and this guy says hes only on the door and cant help. Another time I called and the guy says we only sell phones. Cant help you with other problems. Guess I will have to deal with Verizon directly. Not pleased. Barely deserves one star.

Approaching the store an employee opened the door and welcomed me in. I was instantly asked what I needed help with. The store was quite busy, but the employees kept checking with me while I was waiting for the employee that I needed assistance from. Everybody did everything they could to resolve any issues that I had and make up for any inconveniences. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the store as well as the courteousness from all three of the employees that I had interactions with. Im happy to be a Verizon wireless customer. My intentions going there were to end my service and got back to prepaid, they completely responded my issues and took any doubts away. Thank you Mason City beacon wireless team.
Customer service is great once you get it. The wait is long but you can browse all the new products while you wait.

Granted they are a busy store and wait time can sometimes be lengthy, but they be are worth the wait.All the employees are very nice and helpful and have always gone the extra mile to help resolve phone problems.They are very patient.

This was in Mason City. The staff was lousy, not helpful, and once you purchased your phone and accessories, they sent you home and you had to set it all up yourself. Not very good when youre technologically challenged.

They disconnected their phone so you cannot call in advance that tells you all you need to know about their customer service. Busier then an all you can eat buffet at weight watchers meeting.
Stopped in to see about getting a Wifi. We are camping in an RV full timers and the place we are at for a month or two is a bit remote. Our normal AT&T is really poor and just about useless. I was waited on by Shayne Kraft who was very knowledgeable and checked the location we were at to confirm the Wifi Signal strength. Then he walked me through my equipment options. This guy knew his stuff, helped me through the equipment decisions and also let me know my other options if I found that I needed a bot more. Best part was there was no pressure to buy anything, just gave me all the info and facts I needed to make a decision. Then he took care of the entire billing process very easy and I was out the door in no time with everything I needed. If you need help, stop in and ask for him.
