My experience was very simple yet very helpful. The first time I walked into progressive I walked out with a wonderful vehicle. The second time I came looking for information and when I left the building I fully understood what I was wanting to know.
Service was wonderful! I checked in for my appointment, they explained what they would be doing to my car, showed me where I could wait during the maintenance, and once my car was ready someone came to get me. He walked me to the cashiers office, after telling me the services they provided and any recommendations they had for my car. The women in the cashiers office got me my final paper work and even gave me a free car wash coupon to use!! Excellent service by everyone I encountered!

Oil change service. Appointment at 3:30 was there about 3:15 and checked in. Was told about 30-45 minutes for the oil change and tire rotation. 2:15 hours later I was rolling out of the parking lot.2 hours of my life I can not get back for a 45 minute job.
Absolute and total incompetence! My 2019 Silverado has been using oil excessively for over a year now starting at about 40,000 miles. I had informed the service department about that to which they said they would document and monitor. I waited until the next scheduled oil change to determine if it would qualify for warranty claim. At the time they said to bring it back after 4,000 miles to check oil levels which I did. they seemed concerned that the oil level was very low which of course is the reason that I had been trying to get documented for over a year. They then said that I had to have an oil change and then bring it in every 1000 miles for further documentation. I feels as though Im being dismissed or misled to go past the 60,000 mile warranty.
I was very pleased with my experience here. Jim helped me select a car that I was most comfortable with. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted besides an SUV, and he was very quick and efficient in offering up ideas. I ended up purchasing a Subaru Crosstrek, and I absolutely love it! I also experienced some difficulty getting approved by my credit union for a loan, and Jim was quick to step in and find me another source to locate my loan. All in all, I had a good indefinite experience and I highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle!

My wife had a service appt for her Traverse this morning at 08:00. I elected to take the vehicle in so she wouldnt have to get 4 kids out of bed on a summer morning and wait there with them. But I also still had to be in Cleveland by 09:45. I communicated that to David Fore in the service department and said I was going to be tight on time. He said it would not be a problem. Weve all sat at a service location and been told that before and then ended up waiting forever. Mr. Fore was true to his word though, they changed the oil, replaced the cabin filter, and I was on my way in no time! Much appreciation to David Fore and the Progressive Chevrolet service department!
Jay Johnson and his team spotted up front that I was having battery issues. My 2017 Buick Encore was fully serviced. The current battery was fully tested and found it needed to be replaced. The best part was it was still under warranty. We have been having our vehicles serviced at Progressive for a long time and will continue to do so. Jay is someone we can count on!

Our sales person Sarah was extremely patient with us and she knew her inventory very well. If I said I didn’t like the interior of this car she had another car in mind for me instantly. If I said I didn’t like the color of this car she found another color for me and after all was said and done and we said we still wanted to check out a brand new car that had a Better warranty (at a different dealership)from bumper to bumper she took a chance and said “food for thought, how about that brand new Chevy blazer out there you’ve been talking about the color you like?” In the end she was able to sell us a brand new Chevy blazer and we weren’t even going there for a new car but she was patient and kind and I really recommend you asking for Sarah Caldwell if you go in.
Service writer, Dave Fore, was very helpful. He explained the warranty work, communicated well and was prompt in his responses. A very positive experience overall.
Yesterday I had my car towed to the service department of Chevrolet. Today a serviceman by the name of Fred calls me and tells me “we’re not touching your car” “I’m done talking about it” and continued to be rude. I don’t understand what I said for him to be rude, because I wanted to know why he wouldn’t “touch my car”? I mean it’s pretty simple to answer a question when you’re asked one. Why was it so hard? Where’s the customer service? I promise, Bernie would have never made me feel the way I felt today !
I brought my new vehicle in for warranty work and recall fixes, as well as the free oil change. It was supposed to be all covered and after I dropped it off, I got a call about a $120 charge to tell me something was not under warranty. The person I was assigned to was noticeable embarrassed telling me about the fee and I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was extremely rude and argumentative. She was very insulting and should not ever be associated with customer service. I’m not opposed to paying for a job well done, even the higher dealership costs. But this was extremely unreasonable and I will be very cautious going forward on purchases and most certainly service work.

I did not end up purchasing a vehicle here but the staff were extremely kind, even going as far as to suggest other dealers in my area that may be a better fit for my interests. I encourage everyone looking for a vehicle to try Progressive Chevrolet. Everyone was so nice and helpful without being pushy. Sarah was our salesperson and she was fantastic. I was so nervous and she put me at ease immediately. We were really impressed with how painless and quick she made the whole process. She and Fran (finance dept.) worked hard for us. We’ll definitely be going back to Progressive Chevrolet and Sarah for future car purchases.
Communication was terrible. My car was not ready when expected, two weeks in a row. Had I not called, either visit, I would have not known the truck was not ready the day I planned to pick it up. Texts and voicemails were not returned. I brought the truck in because of ON STAR message. Multiple other issues were found that supposedly needed repaired, but none of them matched the ON STAR message. The mechanic working on my truck broke the fuel line putting the fuel pump replacement and I had to pay for the part, but the labor to fix it was free. Every report I HAD TO CALL TO GET was a new issue that I had to have fixed or the car would not run. I felt like I was taken advantage of I dont intend to EVER bring my car back for service or buy another vehicle from your dealership. Nor will I ever recommend the dealership to anyone else.
I brought my car in because it was having problems accelerating. However I was sent away with no answers for why the problem was occurring. I scheduled an appointment 5 days ahead of time and dropped my car off early and it still took over 4 hours for them to get to my car. I live an hour away and I wasted a day of work to bring my car in to make sure it was safe for the trip we were about to make that following weekend. After my car was at the dealership for about 2 hours I called to check in and the representative I talked to was very rude about helping me because he was not the one I was originally dealing with because he was with another costumer. And then During the trip the problem got worse so I took it to a shop near where we were staying and they told me it was my fuel injector. Why my dealership couldn’t find the problem is beyond me I wasted time and money. I will never again visit this dealership I will go out of my way to another one if I have another problem

After 17 years, our Chevy blazer was sadly done... so we went to Progressive to find a new vehicle. We worked with Josh Henderson to find a new-to-us Equinox that fit our budget. It was a great, low-pressure buying experience, unlike any weve ever had before. Josh was friendly and answered all of our questions and made us feel important. I am definitely less than pleased with my purchase experience here. I bought a brand new truck on June 30th, and today August 19th I still dont have the users manual for my truck. On the day I bought the truck I had to walk up a mud hill to get to where the truck was. I feel like the truck should have been down in the lot as I had scheduled an appointment to come in and look at it, but that is neither here nor there. Someone in the dealership apparently lost the second key and users manual for the truck, so two weeks after I bought it I had to make a 1½ trip to get a new key cut, and I got to wait around the dealership for nearly two hours while I was waiting for that to get done. When I bought the car I was told I get a year of free car washes. After I had the new key made I asked how I go about getting the free wash and was told I need a sticker for the car wash with I have yet to receive seven weeks later. I was told by the sales person that the users manual came in, and I need to go pick it up because they didnt have an envelope big enough for it, and he didnt want it getting lost in the mail. When I asked what kind of compensation I would be receiving for having to drive 1½ hours twice for their screw up I was told the users manual would be coming in the mail soon. I will never recommend this dealership to any of my family or friends.

Was told car is available, price is $23,965 but prices there arent firm.Talked to salesperson on way to appointment, everything was fine.Got to dealership. Garrick brought out a 2020 for me to test drive, it was their courtesy car with 3,500 miles on it. I was told the 2022 had sold earlier in the day.Asked for it for $25k out the door, Id sign the papers right then. They returned with an ask for over $34k. I told them I couldnt do that, that Id just bought a 2020 in December that had 15 miles on it for $25k.Sales manager comes over, tells me that inflation, covid and low inventory are why everything is so expensive, and that the only way hed let me take it for $25k is if I financed with them.I told him that I already had a loan approved and that I was happy with my lender and interest rate. Hard no.Sales manager says, well hard no from me too.I tell him that thats disappointing, thank him for his time, and tell him to have a great night.The actual value of the car is $25,252.20 minutes later Garrick calls and says that his sales manager feels bad and is offering to let me have the car for $26,100. I tell him that Id had the value pulled and that even if that was a good deal, I wouldnt be returning because of the Sales manager, John.Garrick was great, and Im sorry that he missed out on a sale, but he can blame his manager.John was rude and demeaning and forcefully coercive, and couldnt even call me to apologize and extend the offer himself.

Service was easy to set up. Jay was very informative and helpful. I really wish you had loaner cars, I had to pay for a rental that i only had for two hours and put 5 miles on to drive back home though.It would have been nice if that fee could of been waived.
I paid over $200 for an oil change and a fuel injection service. The oil change was supposed to be free, but I was charged anyway. The next day the transmission light came on. The part had to be moved in order for the fuel injection service to be completed, so it was obvious they did not put it back correctly and/or damaged it during the service. Since they could not even perform these services correctly, I will not be taking it back to them to fix it. Who knows what will go wrong if I let them fix it again? Do not trust these guys....

Your owners have become way too greedy, charging $99 now for each little issue. Intake guy was so focused on trying to oversell me that he failed to mention a dangerous fuel line leak. He said it was about to go, not that it was actually leaking. Every repair suggestion was way overpriced! You re driving business away with greed.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and courtesy I received from Progressive Chevrolet. As a younger female going alone to a car dealership, I was worried I would be looked down on by not having a lot of knowledge about cars and being pushed into buying outside my price point. My sales person, TJ, was extremely professional and walked me through multiple options until I was comfortable settling in one. It made for a great overall experience, and I will definitely be coming back for future purchases.
Great way to waste an entire afternoon dealing with folks who ignore what you are looking for, your budget, etc. Oh well, I guess my purchase will go to the competitor a couple towns over. Shopping when you dont need to purchase has its perks. Its much easier to walk away with no attachment when the incompetence of the sales staff presents numbers way beyond the budget you told then to work with.
My wife and I had a great experience at Progressive in Massillon. We wanted to get rid of our old Jeep Liberty and we were attracted to the dealership because of the trade in your car towards factory certified and get $5000 for it. Although the vehicles that were factory certified were still too far out of our price range we looked around the lot some more until we came upon a 2017 Acadia. The wife really liked it and Mike Butts really worked for us. We could only afford so much a month and they worked really hard and got us below even what we were comfortable with. The sales manager was great too. She got is the best deal through the banks and we couldnt be happier. Thank you Progressive, my wife is driving on cloud nine now and not embarrassed about the car she is driving anymore. We will definitely come back for our next car. We will also be referring friends to the dealership as well.*Update* Well, we had a great experience with this dealership, all the way up to when the car started throwing codes and issues with the vehicle. Now mind you, this was less than 60 days after purchasing the vehicle. So we brought this to the attention of the dealership and they said to bring it in to the shop. So we did and they were so nice to wave the admission fee just to check out the codes the car was throwing out. $282 dollars to be precise, JUST TO READ THE CODES!!!! So, once the codes were read and the problem was addressed, it cost us $421 to update the steering computer and fix the shift to park issue we were having. Great, problem solved right? WRONG!!! Not even 24 hrs later the same code that came up before was back. So, instead of taking it back to the dealership, I had the problem checked out by MY TRUSTED MECHANIC and it would seem that the issue was with the thermostat. Which was something the dealership told me could be the issue, but it was 1 of 3 options that could have been a problem and they didnt want to throw darts and hope one would fix the issue. So, needless to say, I will not be purchasing another vehicle through this dealership because they left us high and dry on a vehicle that we hadnt even had for 60 days and cost us an extra $1000 outside of our loan amount. Very disappointed with this company and they should be ashamed of themselves for not supporting or fixing a vehicle they sold to someone 50 days ago. If you buy a vehicle from this company, get the warranty (which I did not) because apparently they wont stand behind the product that they sell to the consumer.
I was expecting to have to leave my vehicle over night, but upon arriving for service I was told it would take 2 to 3 hours. So we stayed around town and arrived back at the dealership as they were finishing up the service. I am very impressed with Progressives service!

This was by far the most unprofessional dealership that I’ve ever stepped foot in. We inquired about a vehicle online, nobody got ahold of us about it. We then called the dealership ourselves and were told we’d receive a call back, and again nobody called back. We texted the sales person with no response. We call again and are told that “this is a large dealership, we don’t always get back to people right away”. We live 2 hours from this dealership and were willing to buy the vehicle that day, even going as far as being willing to put a deposit down over the phone. This dealership wouldn’t allow us to make any offer over the phone, stating “we don’t do business over the phone”. We then agreed to drive 2 hours to come see the vehicle, under the agreement that if anyone bought it before we arrived that they would call us so that we didn’t waste a trip. We immediately drove there and it was being test driven by someone else as soon as we arrived. We were then told, “well if this guy doesn’t buy it, you can test drive it”. We made an appointment, drove over 2 hours to buy a vehicle that they refused to do business about over the phone, and they deliberately allowed someone else to drive it during our appointment time without even giving us a courtesy call. When we arrived, the salesman sat us at his desk and WALKED BACK OUTSIDE with the other salesman and stood there chatting. No apologies were given, not one single offer to make up for our 130 mile wasted trip. To top it off, the salesman had the audacity to tell me that I was disrespectful because I was upset about the situation, considering the lack of courtesy on their part. If you’re considering driving any reasonable distance to purchase from this dealership, you may want to think twice. We definitely will not return.

They did fine on the repairs. Jay service rep was good. The Progressive system was terrible. They constantly were sending messages including 5-6 reminders etc. They were horrible with all the emails, text etc. It was a complete waste of my time to keep getting all the notices. One reminder the day before it enough.

I love my Trax. Everyone takes real good care of me. Service is completed on time. My only problem has been the License Plate Lights. Theyve had to repair or replace them 5 or 6 times now and Ive only had it less than two years. Ive looked online and found there are many others with the same problem. You need a better design for the retainer clips.
Even though it was not the best circumstances as to why I had to purchase a new vehicle, Zach and Jim were awesome in getting me into a vehicle that I felt safe in after the car accident. Had an appointment for an oil change at 2:00. I left there about 3:35. Not good at all. I realize this service was free, however, I travel about 40 minutes to get to Progressive and I could have gotten the an oil change at a local dealer for much less than half that time and could have been back home get to other things done by 2:30
The service department staff was informative and friendly, and the dealership overall was very clean and inviting. Repair costs were reasonable as well, and our vehicle was serviced quickly.

Sarah was my salesperson and she was wonderful to work with even though I was looking to lease another Colorado and due to the current market situation and the dealership not really able to get new Colorados right now she helped to put me in a vehicle that is more economical and with in the monthly payment that I was looking for this is my 5th vehicle through progressive Chevrolet and they have been very good to me and my wife
Always a great experience. Service department very efficient, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. Kyle Pritchard helped me out of a jam when another dealer couldnt get the job done. He bent over backwards to help me get the work done. Well above and beyond what it required. They have a customer for life. I will never go anywhere else for service and will probably buy all my future vehicles there. Great people make it a great place. Highly, highly recommend. Also ask for Kyle if you need service but I must say I have had equally good luck with all the members of the service department. They are all great.
This has to be the most unprofessional dealership my family has ever dealt with. This is the only dealership that ive seen that lets their “certified” pre- owned vehicles sit without any follow up inspection before selling them to customers. 2017 GMC Acadia sat for 3 months with no follow up inspection. I realized that my A/C did not work in the beginning of this summer. I called the dealership and explained to them what was wrong but the sales man Mr. Black insisted that I somehow broke it myself, saying that I must I’ve road over Gravel and knocked one of the AC hoses lose. Mr Black then persisted to tell me that I should’ve checked the AC before buying the car, very unprofessional approach for a dealership ship that “cares” about their customers.Failed battery shorty afterwards, I then talked to a Mr Jay service Advisor. He tested the battery for me and explained to me that it indeed failed the test. I explained to him that I only had the car for 3 months is there is compensation since it was so early into my purchase, he then said no and I’ll have to buy another batter that was close to $270 dollars. After telling him how unsatisfied I was with the service, he then said to me that “I’ve worked here for 40 years, I know how this works, I’m sorry that you don’t understand”. With 40 years of service you would imagine a top tier level of professionalism, but instead he showed disrespectful character. It’s very unfortunate of what happened but my family not I will never spend our money there again.
Nate Hefling is perhaps the best salesman I have ever worked with while purchasing a vehicle. His selling style is very consultative and makes you feel like he genuinely has your best interest in mind.
