The prices are great. Customer service was great. I was overwhelmed at the size (not their fault), and i tire easily (neuro stuff) so I didnt make it through but about 1/2 the store but what I did find I was very happy with! Im glad I got a membership today because I definitely plan to go back as Im able.

Very nice customer service. They are always so willing to make things right for customers. It was late and I left its bouquet of flowers inside the shopping cart last night. They were glad to replace them this morning. Im very grateful.

I know everybody who woks there I practically live in costco I am there so often. The Pharmacy is fantastic they treat you like your family. Excellent service very clean store. Excellent produce meat and salmon. I have gone to this location since it opened And I am still very pleased no complaints.

I enjoy going to Costco. I have read and seen for myself that they company has higher standards for the the products they offer. The company has a great selection when it comes to organic foods, and has a wonderful selection tion of meats. I have visited the other competitor bulk wholesale stores and they do not compare to the quality Costco offers. I am very happy that Costco has a quality standard and thinks of its customers. Costco employees deserve a cookie for how well theyve managed the gas shortage/supply this week. I filled up while my husband went inside and shopped.The employees directed cars from one end of the parking lot to the other, blocking off certain places, ensuring all their customers get gas in a peaceful orderly fashion. Nothing like the gas stations that are all chaotic. Costco staff was happy and friendly, even though it had been raining and cold. I was really impressed with the volume of vehicles moving too - 5 lanes, and every lane had at least 15 cars lined up. Moved smoothly though.Good job Costco.

Always love this Costco. Gas is the least expensive around, parking is available, even on weekends, as it has parking on the sides as well as the front. It would get five stars if they also had the ability to sell liquor. But not in the state of NC. But there wine selection is great and prices for wine is excellent.

It was my first time shopping at Costco and the customer service experience was not good. When I was ready to go pay we were being ranged up by a employee named Judy she was ridiculously rude while being a check out, understand that the store was busy but they should have some patience when it would come to the customers. In conclusion the whole overall experience was great I just would like the customer service to be more helpful to the customers instead of a stress for us, thank you !!!

Friendliness of staff at this Costco is unparalleled. I got a flat tire and pulled off into this Costco’s parking lot - even well after closing the manager was kind enough to let me inside to use the restroom. After my car had been towed and I was waiting for a friend to pick me up, multiple employees stopped to check on me on their way out to their cars & one even gave me a bottle of water to drink while I waited.While the tire was not repairable and they didn’t have my tire size in stock, the service technician was kind enough to offer advice on new tires and even point out a safety hazard in the existing dealership installed tires to bring up to them once towed there.

Prices can be great if you shop strategically (paying attention to unit prices) and they have everything from food to clothing/electronics/toys/furniture. The people at the Matthews location are super helpful and friendly.

We shop here at least monthly. I have the executive card and receive cash back each year. We like to get certain items here. Steaks are ysual6very well priced and are great cuts. We buy ready made meals that just need to be put in the oven and the family enjoys them. At Christmas time, they often have great decorations. My sister recently bought a beautiful couch for under a grand. Some items are seasonal and once they are sold out, they are gone. I have noticed some of their prices are going up. They are still good if you need bulk items. I do recommend shopping here. The meat and fish are fresh, bakery is fantastic and staff is helpful.

It’s in a popular location so it will always be busy. You will find great deals everywhere and you can’t go wrong getting bulk for most items. The one downside that prevents it for me from getting the full 5 stars is that I spend so much time looking for some items for them to be tucked away in a side fridge or in a place that seems super counter-intuitive, also sometimes they don’t carry some items that I look for. This being said you shouldn’t shop here for variety but your grocery staples will be in bulk and much cheaper than anywhere else.

Kenny who works in the car center has no customer service skills at all!!I was the 5th customer waiting on line at this car center, Kenny took his own SLOW PACE time to handle customers.1 - Kenny dont know when is the time to call extra help since 5 customers were on line waiting. It took about 25 minutes for my turn at the end.2 - After the 3rd customer, he took 2 minutes to finalize all the paper work; so the rest of 2 customers just keep waiting.....3 - After the 4th customer, he took all the papers to the back of shop and disappeared for 2 minutes; left the final customer (me) just keep waiting...4 - Finally, he came back and say Hi to me, but he decided to answer the phone and then answer another phone, total put me on hold for extra 2.5 minutes!5 - Kenny has No customer service originated, No priority, No first come first serve skills at all.Kenny should have put that phone on-hold and take care of a customer in front of him first! He doesnt know What is 1st come 1st serve????Kenny didnt answer any phone during those 4 customers before me for about 20 minutes, but all a sudden he decided to took his time to answer the 2 phone calls for 2.5 minutes? I wonder if there is someone behind me, he may not answer any phone at all?Costco upper level managers should look at the issues why its car center dept front desk staff has no service skills set at all.A - not knowing when is time to ask for additional help when there is a long waiting line!B - The priority should be take care of customer at the shop first before take care of any phone call.C - 1st come 1st serve should be well trained to any service desks staff.

Fairly good CostCo. Sometimes they dont have all the items available (thile other nearby locations do) and workers arent always nice, but for regular shopping I actually like going there.

Always clean and stocked well when there is no news report on a shortage of paper products or water. Parking is tricky and always packed - just be patient.

Costco has great quality merchandise at a great price. Their customer service and guaranteed quality is what keeps me coming back. They stand behind their products so I’m not afraid to buy large ticket items knowing that if it’s defective, Costco’s got your back. Many of their house brand (Kirkland) products are equivalent to brand names. Also, Costco gas is usually the cheapest around in the area.

I have been using this Costco for 4 years now, staff and service is excellent. In four years i just recall only one instance where i see i could have got a better service.

Maybe it’s post-pandemic (I’m sure they have seen a large increase in people and craziness) but I dread coming here. The employees at the register have been rude pretty much every time. Two stars because they have good organic food options.

Patrick (at returns) was the most helpful Costco employee I’ve ever met. He was incredibly patient as he researched my orders to help me return an item I didn’t have the receipt for. It could’ve very easily been a stressful situation but he did everything in his power to prevent that from happening. I’m definitely a Costco member for life because of this experience - the Matthews location is very lucky to have such an incredible employee.

Becoming a member was a great choice for my husband and I because the selections are great. My husband loves the meat department because he slow cook on the smoker. The staff is always helpful and friendly.I love the seasonal pumpkin pie!There’s nothing we don’t like about Costco in Matthews, NC because they do a great job!

Todays service was impeccable!! Definitely will be bringing my other car in for service. Frank was very knowledgeable and ran the store and crew efficiently. Service was super fast. Making an appointment works best.

Representative at the billing counter name “JAY” was very unprofessional and RUDE he was assisting the customer before us but as soon as we came at the counter he left saying help yourself he kept ignoring us when we tried calling him multiple times for assistance and was going to the other counters where there were already assistance available.we had to wait at the counter for more than 10 mins just for him to help us for one item to scanthis type of behaviour is not at all expected and is very disappointing. There must be some type of training for representatives to handle how to deal with customers equally or there must be an action taken on him.Please i request Costco to keep customer review section at the end of store where we can report such type of issues

Its hot as hell in there today. Went to look for the O2 cool 4pk masks they used to sell but they dont have but all good still a good visit.

This is a nice Costco. That being said, most of these are very nice. But the staff is very friendly and helpful. They had so many free samples, more than I have seen at other stores. They had a great deal of variety of products. We will be back.

Great place to shop for those great seasonal items that only they seem to have! They always have something new each time you go in and something new to try and hopefully buy! Nice jewelry and watch selection as well. Also you cant beat the food court prices for a cheap family meal. Everyone loves Costco!!!

I bought a 3 packs Wagyu ground beef ( USA), took it home, and opened it to divide for freezing, and there this smell from the raw ground beef. I trusted Costco would not sell bad meat. I had this bad feeling but wasnt sure, I ignored the bad smell, continued to work on diving and freezing the meat . Today, I took it out, cooked it, and it still smell bad.Could Costco be selling bad, rotten Wagyu ground beef( USA ) ??? Even after it had been cooked, and it still smell bad. It smells like rotten ground beef.

Absolutely love Costco! ALWAYS clean, customer service is impeccable, staff members are fast, friendly, well educated and knowledgeable. Food is fresh and I love the organic selections. If you’re a healthy, clean eater like myself Costco is your place. Costco has more upscale and designer clothing and shoes; quality housewares and equipment that is way above Sam’s Club. We have the business membership so we get cash back on our purchases. You will be very happy with Costco.

Pretty Great. Fruit smoothies are NUM NUMS!Would be 5 but the lady loading the cart after scanning kept squishing the the squishables underneath the hard and heavies. Stop that poop, I didnt pay for my chips to be wrecked and my bread to be pancakes. Otherwise, great job!

Only place where I can purchase Organic, Non GMO veggies!!! Broader range than Earth-fare, Whole Foods and no one can touch their prices. Granted the veggies are frozen but we get huge amounts, high quality, fraction of the cost of other stores AND the frozen portions are fresh and cook up perfectly! We waste less food and money. Really REALLY HAPPY they have such a huge selection of Organic/Non GMO products and you can NOT BEAT the quality or cost of their Grass Fed/Organic Ground beef!!! Cheaper than Butcher Box and very fresh! Now if only they’d get organic Fresh chicken and wild caught salmon - we’d go nowhere else to shop!! Hiwever I do believe you can purchase frozen Organic chicken. We love the chocolate covered healthy seed mix - non GMO AND organic. Highly recommended!!! You can NOT FIND organic non GMO ASPARAGUS ANYWHERE - Costco has it frozen and in convenient separate packages. Riced Cauliflower? Yep!! We shop for KETO and Vegan / Gluten free products as well - something for everyone in the family not to mention the employees are always friendly and they hustle.

I have a Sams club membership and my husband and I wanted to check out Costco to see the difference. When we tried to enter the people at the front told us that we have to get a “ 24h membership” to actually enter and see. We waited almost 30 min in line and when we told the lady at the desk she looked at us like “ why do you mean 24h membership ?” And told us that we could go inside and check out before to enroll. We tried to get inside but they were closed. We were a bit frustrated and when we tried to tell them that we actually waited almost 30 min for nothing, the rude employee in the front told us with a very mean tone that “ we are closed, I don’t care, we are closed”. Costco employees at this specific location, please do better, it costs nothing to be nice to potential customers.... we would have been happy to come back to try out ( even if we waited for nothing ) if the employees would have been helpful and nice!

This is not directed towards any specific Costco but Costco in general. I purchased a washer and dryer, was charged for it 6 weeks ago. My deliver has been set up 3x and ea time no one shows up. I am never called to say that the delivery will not be coming. 3 different days I have been told to be home to except Delivery between 4-6 pm.When I call the logistic office there is alway a 30-45 minute hold to speak to someone. The only good thing I have to say is that they people I have spoken to have been very nice.This is very unprofessional and beyond ridiculous!!!

The parking lot is a headache, but it’s worth dealing with for how great this store is.

We love Costco! You cant beat their prices and quality. I especially love that they have more and more gluten free items. They also have the best quality produce and meats, I like the organic ground beef, simply cannot compare to the local grocery stores.

Went to the eye wear counter. Short wait. Great service. Personable, pleasant and knowledgeable. Found what I was looking for and was out in a short period of time.

Costco is always a great place to shop. Clean store, good prices, whats not to like? The only issue I have are the crowds. It seems no matter what day or time you go, the place is packed. It also seems the longer youre in the store, the dumber people around you get. Its almost like theyre walking around in a trance. Maybe its the bright lights, or all the shiny new things...I just try to get in and out as quickly as possible. Been a member for years.

Took a stroll through here today, as wed never been in a Costco before. Weve been in Sams Club though. Outside of a few different setup and marketing wrinkles, you wouldnt be able to tell them apart. Same stuff, same prices, or close enough not to make any difference. Not sure what the membership goes for, for each, but Im betting thats pretty close as well. Satisfied our curiosity, but nothing convincing enough to join. I noticed a few things that were on a par with my local supermarket. No real draw here.

Some very good deals to be had couldnt just grab anything cuz sometimes they werent as good a deal as you could get elsewhere. They had some extremely good deals on the bibligo wontons and dumplings. Still best place to get blender bombs even less expensive than if you order it directly from their website. Can get San Pellegrino sparkling water in the glass bottles it just tastes better to me colder more refreshing.

Good price, but does not deliver the products in time.My family and I have moved to a new place, so before that we bought new appliances (washing machine, Dryer, Dishwasher and refrigerator). and the only product delivered until now was the refrigerator.Costco has re-scheduled the deliver of the others 2x 7 days after the first appointment set. Also I did not go to work because I was waiting for the product delivery and installation.Weve called customer service that does not even know when the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher will be delivered at our new place. The amount of clothes and things to wash have been pilling up at my laundry for about 2 weeks already.Our friends have recommend Costco, but keep in mind that your product may take a awhile to be in your new home.

I thought I was in good hand under the Costco Auto Program. After two attempts, 5 years apart. I found it is not worth. The recent dealership, to which, I was referred by Costco. told me that there was no pricing available until 10 days before the vehicle arriving the shop, yet they asked me to put in deposit to secure a vehicle without pricing. Another dealership I was talking to, they asked me to be present in person and show them costco membership card before they help me to search. I called Costco twice and didnt seem very helpful at all. I gave up.
