Home away from home.The employees are always very kind and helpful.Our last visit we got roofing shingles....and those things are NOT light! It was a blessing to have 3 of their guys come out to help load them on our truck. They all worked so well together, it seemed they loaded them in seconds!I really wish I would have gotten their names but I pray they are blessed for their hard work and help.
We’re always into home improvement projects. 20 years ago, Home Depot really made a name for itself by our-serving customers, but that has really slipped over the years. Today, very happy to say how pleased we were to be greeted multiple times with smiling faces, eager to help. 3 people helped us load concrete! Thanks so much!
Thomas (the on-duty store manager at the time) went above and beyond to alleviate a manufacturing defect on my clients brand new water heater (a top of the line, expensive model). He allowed me to take a part from a perfectly good heater in order to get her hot water tonight. I appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond for the purpose of customer service, and have received great service at this location every time Im here. Called the same day the wrong washer was delivered. The delivery people high tailed it out of my home and told me to call the store. They should have removed it but sadly they did not. Said the only person who can do something about it will get the info and call me. Three days later no calls, 40 min wait. Spoke to someone who said they will get him the message and call me back tomorrow. We shall see the outcome tomorrow. Next, pick it up and give me my money back. Will never do business with them again.
The gentleman - I believe his name was Jim who made 5 keys for me yesterday was so sweet and kind. And skilled, they all work! He’s wonderful and you are lucky to have him!
Have found very few Home Depot shops that are not worthy of at least four stars. While there store has not been as well marketed inside the store, as say Lowes, there knowledge staff more than makes up for it. The fact that this is a big box store will pretty much also make this never get a five star rating, as they just do not have the friendly home town feel of the local hardware store. But this Home Depot is consistently good with knowledge people that are there to help you and generally have to parts for you for most projects.
The checkout person (Laura) was not very adept at the register and was extremely slow. Very slow. She would be better suited in other areas of the store and not in the checkout area due to her inability to use the register quickly enough.

Well I’m sitting here after calling customer service twice being hung up on once assuming by accident after being unable to reach them and the second being unable to get ahold of this store for 20 minutes. I was told the only thing to do now would be go in store or the service rep would just leave me on the hold line I was conferenced into. We ended the call and tried calling the store directly. Again. No answer.This is actually the second delivery in a row we have had issues with. The last one they did not deliver or call and we waited around only to find out that they decided to switch our order through two different stores instead and had changed the date of delivery twice and not called or notified us. So we were pushed a week back. My wife told me we weren’t ordering from them again and I told her it was a one off. I was unfortunately wrong and will not hear the end of it.This time we wait around and our 6-10 window comes and goes so we check the order status and see they couldn’t attempt delivery. No call. No one answers, customer service couldn’t even get the manager to answer. We work from home, have cameras and never received a call. So they definitely didn’t attempt to deliver here. So is it an issue where they never picked up the order? They didn’t have delivery guys? Wouldn’t know. They won’t answer.Note in case this helps anyone else. They give you the customer service line for delivery issues but they are just calling the store because customer service cannot help you at that point. Don’t waste the time calling the number they give you. Call the store directly if it was already out for delivery. Doing this twice now. We’ve wasted hours on hold just to have the other service line call the exact same number you would.
Was recently at this location to see if they had the 12 skeleton in stock (I live 40 min away) they had 8 in the steel. the associate I talked with was nasty and the other one said I could not have it. Horrible way to do business!! I called to talk with a manager the next day (extremely hard to get anyone to pick up the phone, I had to call 3 times) the associate would not get me a manager but did call me back to tell me I can get them when they put them out.. Im extremely unhappy considering other home Depot were accommodating their customers..
Please edit order wi dows from this home depot. I have been waiting since April 2021 for a complete order I still havent received. They dont communicate and they dont offer any suggestions or support. Please go to a wi dow supplier for better support
Thank you so much! Wish I could remember the gentleman’s name but he went above and beyond helping us find the odd sized front door we needed. He sent us to a Home Depot down in Charlotte where they were just as great. Really pleased with our Home Depot experiences.

I love the store, but Installation is done by sub contractors. They dont have the same desire to do the best possible job that you.get from stores purchase.
The Home Depot is always my go-to place for anything for my home and especially for flowers. Their staff is very helpful if you need service or cant find anything.
Ordered a washer and dryer on July 5. They said delivery would be 1 week later on July 12. I get a call on the 11th saying they need to reschedule the delivery to the 19th. There’s no way. I would have ordered these pieces if it was going to take this long. They deliver them and the dryer is totally damaged. I refuse the dryer and I call the 800 number to schedule the new dryer, they take 2 days to call me back and tell me they cannot deliver it until July 31. At that point I am done and we decide to cancel the entire order so I can order elsewhere. Well they can only refund me the dryer and I have to wait until they pick up the washer which is not until JULY 30!! Meanwhile I went to Lowe’s 2 days ago, ordered the same exact set and it came today with 0 issues. Meanwhile now I have the Home Depot washer sitting in my garage until end of next week. Save yourself the hassle and do not use Home Depot to order appliances.
I must say that during this pandemic attitudes seem to change when it comes to customer service...I must say that the best experience came when I met Mike at the rental area. He was professional and very knowledgeable about all questions I had for him. I hope that he is recognized for his representation of Home Depot across the company.
Guy in garden dept was very helpful. Got keys cut and the guy helping me was very cordial.
We needed to return some flooring that purchased from two of the Home Depot locations. We had been to the Providence and were told that we would have to go to the Matthews store and they would handle the return. Once there Rose, an Assistant Manager assisted us in Customer Service. She was extremely helpful and as there was an issue with the return, she said that instead of us waiting she would handle it, get it straightened out and give us a call when it was. Later that day she did call us and had everything set up. Rose was extremely helpful and did what she could.We later went back to the Providence location and they were able to assist us with the return of the flooring that we had purchased there.Update- spoke too soon. Home Depot us great to deliver and hell to return. Giving it yet another try. This will be our third try to get the flooring returned. Is there ANY hope???? Folks, unless you can load and carry it yourself, dont count on Home Depot to get the return.

I wish I could remember the gentlemans name who helped me over the phone. I am doing a fencing project and when I learned a portion of my order was not going to deliver on time, he went above and beyond to make sure that what I needed was done. He was patient even though I changed my mind 50 times during said phone call, he made every change I asked for with the most friendly and positive attitude. You dont see that very often anymore.I am a newer home owner and I will be using the home depot for all of my home needs. I have had nothing less than helpful friendly service from any home depot I have walked into or called.
Im sure its common practice in retail but you got caught so you get the bad review. I started shopping for a dishwasher several months ago. My wife and I found one that we liked for $917 (GE). The purchase wasnt urgent so we decided to hold off until the next big sale to save a few $$ (Memorial Day, 4th of July, whatever). Went in tonight to purchase and found out that you jacked the price up to $1019 so that you could mark it 10% off for Memorial Day and sell it at the sale price of $917. Thanks for nothing! Ironically, you were out of stock (big surprise) so it looks like Amazon just earned another sale. Its getting harder and harder to support local.
We can always find what we need at Home Depot. The associated are very knowledgeable and always available to answer questions.
Unfriendly staff, particularly in customer service. I had to ask for help and it seemed they didnt want to help even though I was definitely making a large purchase. Will just go to Lowes next time. Edit June 12 - It took TWO WEEKS for me to get a partial refund after the installer only installed one of the two toilets that I bought due to the hardware kit missing. I spoke with about 8 different employees over the course of two weeks and nobody seemed to understand that in addition to a refund for the toilet that was missing parts, that I also needed a refund for the same toilet that didnt get installed for the missing parts! Then once they understood, they said they would have to send a message to someone else. After getting the run around yet again, I spoke with Elizabeth, the manager, and she fixed the issue in less than 5 minutes and was very apologetic about my experience. I should have just asked to speak to her in the first place!

Friendly people just hard to get help in there. Exchange was really easy to do. Curbside pickup was nice and easy its alot better than walking around the store looking for help you rarely are able to find there.

The only reason I come here is because it’s the closest to my house and I have a Home Depot credit card.Every time I visit there is a lack of customer service.There should be associates approaching you and asking if you need help with anything?Instead you get those that avoid customer interaction.Not blaming employees directly but definitely focus more on your customers experience to make sure they find what they need.Time is money and this place lacks respect when it comes to that.Just my opinion.

Great customer service, it was my second choice but shouldve been my first.
I usually go to another store but was near this one I needed yesterday. I needed a couple small pieces of lumber cut on the table saw. There were many workers around, but they were there for inventory they said. They instructed me who to look for. Think there needs to be a bell or something to call around the area so I didnt have to look for him. Aside from that, the staff was very polite, professional, and happy to help.

If I could leave 0 starts I would. The WORST customer service!!!!! I waited 40 minutes for someone to cut wood and no one ever showed up to assist custers as there were 6 people waiting. Went to Lowes, 10 minutes later I had what I needed. I will NEVER come back to this store again.
I went to this store intending to purchase an appliance package that was advertised. I was planning on purchasing 6 new appliances. I spent time with a nice salesman picked out my appliances when he went to order them for me he had computer issues. He said he would try again the next dayI called to try to complete my order once again. I was placed on hold several times hung up on and disconnected. I was finally able to contact the salesman after an hour or more with phone issuesI am not purchasing my items from home depot. The lucky man at queen city appliances got the opportunity to help me and also opened up a no interest credit card for one year. And matched the home depot prices. Home depots loss is queen city gain. If you need applications see Mike at queen city in monroe.

My favorite home depot by far always clean and very organized love this place.
This specific location is sub-par. Consistently, unhelpful staff. On multiple occasions, when homedepot.com shows an item as limited stock and directs you to visit the store - just dont, if that store is here. They seem to have a real aversion to actually looking up something to see if its in stock. What they DO enjoy doing is standing around talking to each other, and occasionally sending you across the store to where they *think* (as incorrectly as not) something might be located. This isnt the case for all locations - just this one particularly, in my experience.
Im moving into a new home and needed some hardware and supplies. Had many questions about door locks and where this or that was...I was given the best help you could ever ask for. The associate was a great help and was knowledgeable.
I just waited 10 minutes for curbside pick up and they never came out. I had to call and wait on hold to tell them I couldn’t wait anymore, I had to go get my daughter from school and couldn’t wait any longer. They did say they were sorry, but I still have to go back and it’s 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back home. My day is too busy to spend an hour driving cause they don’t respond to curbside in a timely manner.

The paint and electrical departments I shopped at had best in class support teams who gave me the best advice. I should have noted their names. The paint dept guy made me perfect matches for my colors. I am happy I switched to Home Depot.

This Home Depot is horrible. They carry five different kinds of wood chips for smoking and didn’t have one bag of any. The last time I was here they were out of SDS drill bits. It’s like they don’t give a damn if we go to Lowe’s or something. Definitely not coming here again. Also I wouldn’t give it one star but you have to in order to post.

On 3/15 early in the day when we talked with an associate over the phone we were told that the store closed at 10pm. We got there just before 9 and we’re told that the store was closing at 9, no exceptions. We were then kicked out of the store with no explanation. Now that’s what I call customer service. What a shame.
Started our quest to redo our kitchen on August 1st. but due to COVID-19 the project from start to finish was a long process. Lots of bumps along the way but incredibly happy with the finished kitchen. Home Depot had made all the arrangements for the difference folks to come in and do the work.Cabinets, Countertop and finally the plumber.1. Gene came in on Nov 20rd to start taking out the old cabinets and putting in the new. Two cabinets measured incorrectly so had to reorder these and the pantry cabinet was damaged, so a sleeve was ordered to correct that. Gene’s work on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 20…If you do go thru home depot for your remolding, ask for Gene.2. The counter folks came in on Dec 7th to measure for the counter tops and gave us a time to install the counter tops on Dec 22nd. We had no water in the kitchen for Thanksgiving, but we worked around that, and thought we would not have a completed kitchen for Christmas as we still needed the plumber to come in. The staff at Home Depot went above and beyond to have the plumber come on the 22nd so we could have a completed kitchen for Christmas.3. Chris from Home Depot was great working with us, and incredibly pleased with the outcome. Would recommend Home Depot and if any other projects need to be done, we will absolutely return to Home Depot.

Ordered 2 items, 1 for in store pickup and 1 for shipping to my house. I was able to pick up my in store item fine, but the online order was shipped from a sub-vendor and got held up for 2 weeks. I never received any updates until after my estimated arrival date, when I got an email saying my order was delayed. I called customer service to cancel and they said the request was sent, but 2 days later the item showed up on my door still having never had tracking info updated. Item works fine.. but there are plenty of easier to work with vendors.Update: received my notification email that my item has shipped 3 days after it arrived on my door and 5 days after I had asked to cancel.
We bought a pre-hung Steve and Sons front-entry door- from Home Depot where the door latch in the door did not match (off one half inch) the precut hole in the door frame. Contacted Home Depot manager (Cohen) - who said she would contact Steve and Sons to make the installation right. Never heard from Home Depot or Steve and Sons and had to pay a contractor four hundred dollars to cut and patch the frame to enable the door latch to lock the front door. There was never any follow up on the part of the manager - it’s clear they don’t care
Would have been a 5 star but I waited over 20 minutes for service in the tool rental section just for a return. Some additional personnel during busy periods would be appreciated

Very good Home Improvement store. They have a great tool/Equipment rental place too. Just be prepared for a lot of paperwork especially when youre in a hurry. Planning ahead will help.

Home depot sells the best battery brand out there in the markets. Milwaukee is my go to for outdoor equipment and tools.

Went in here this morning to buy a replacement in wall microwave unit. After waiting in appliances for approx 30 minutes a gentleman came over to help. The other lady in department was already helping someone and called for help twice. I told him what we were looking for and he said “well what exactly do you want”. I asked what options they had. “Well we don’t carry any in store but if you tell me what you want”. He pulls a few up online and tells me I can pick from those. I asked if there were any that are highly recommended and he said “a microwave is a microwave”. I could have looked online at home. Horrible customer service with no knowledge at all!!! Thank you for helping me decide to go to Lowe’s to spend my $1700.
Visited today and an employee came up to me in the parking lot and was unbelievably rude. She said I was not allowed to park in the spot I pulled into because it was for pick up only. The site was not marked for that. However the three spots to the left were clearly labeled for pickup. She said did you not see the cone? I apologized and I am so sorry and said no. When I backed out there was a cone that had blown across the parking lot. She then just rolled her eyes at me. At that point I headed to Lowe’s.
Have been visiting this particular Home Depot quite a bit here as of late. Im extremely impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. One staff member always seems to stand out and this business was/is no exception. The cashiers name is Elizabeth, a very polite and courteous staff member. Has inquired whether we found what we needed each time that we checked out. Just an extremely personable individual and someone that acts like they appreciate your business. A pleasure to be around.
